Me: Hi there, all you folks. It's WOLFWATCHER12 back in the saddle for another new story, this time it's one I have never tried before. My friend, The Amazing Ghost Musician, thought it up and after watching Steven Universe, he decided to make this a crossover between that show and a favorite installment of Transformers that he and I both like, Beast Wars!
In this story, Steven is having a normal day in Beach City, he and the gems, Amethyst, Garnet, (Ruby and Sapphire) and Pearl are enjoying some time surfing and such. But then, up above the Earth, a battle is going on. Two different factions, the Heroic Maximals and the Evil Predacons of the planet Cybertron are shooting at each other for custody of a relic called the Golden Disk which the Predacons led by Megatron stole. So Optimus Primal and his Maximal crew are sent to go after them and they end up crashing on Earth near Beach City.
The Axalon lands near Steven's house and the Darksyde crashes near a volcanic island on the other side of Beach City. While there, Optimus and his crew, Cheetor, Rattrap and Rhinox make themselves known to Steven and the Gems and become allies with them. They tell them about Megatron stealing the Golden Disk, starting a war that'll cause destruction across the universe and about their crew orbiting Earth in the Stasis Pods they lost during the battle.
But, there is another evil out there in the universe that will stop at nothing to destroy all that is good. Can Steven and the Gems help the Maximals defeat the Predacons and make sure that Earth doesn't fall at the hands of Megatron or this other menace? Find out next….as we begin to take the ride in…..

Chapter 1: War Of The Beasts - Part 1 - Welcome To Beach City!
We find ourselves on the Planet Earth, home of the human race and we find ourselves in Beach City, a spot in the Delmarva Peninsula and it is here we see a young man with fair skin, curly dark brown hair, dark brown eyebrows, and full black irises which can sometimes have stars as pupils when he gets excited or optimistic. This was Steven Quartz Universe, a boy with a special inner power to fuse beings called Gems and Steven himself is one too.
Right now, he was surfing on the water along with two other Gems, Amethyst and Pearl. "Way to go girls!" said Steven, cheering on Amethyst and Pearl while Garnet was sunbathing.
"Thanks Steven." said Amethyst, as she iced the wave she was riding.
"You were right, this is fun." said Pearl, liking the idea of surfing with Steven and Amethyst.
Garnet smiled as she was bathing in the sunlight. "Nice surfing you guys." she said, feeling happy for them.
"Thanks, Garnet." said Steve, as he and the others reached the sandbar and gave her a high-five. "So, any sign of those evil Gems anywhere?" he asked.
"Actually, since we all beat the last evil Gem, things have been very calm." she said back to him.
It was then that Steven sighed a little bit as he looked over the horizon.
"What is it that bothers you, Steven?" asked Pearl.
Steven opened and shut his eyes before turning to the others, "I have a feeling it's the calm before the storm." he said.
Meanwhile, high above Earth in outer space, we see a wormhole open up and out of it came two spaceships, one looked like a metallic bird the other looked like something out of Saints Row 4, but with a red symbol on it.
(A/N: I base my version of the Axalon on The Ship from Saints Row 4, which is in my opinion a very awesome ship if I do say so myself.)
The two ships began firing at each other and both sides were taking a hit from each other as well, just then, one of the crewmen inside the ship with the red emblem spoke in a teenage surfer boy tone. "Hull breach in sector seven! Guidance Systems are failing!" he said.
"Oh man, this is ridiculous!" said a snarky voice, as he pressed a few buttons on the console he was sitting at. "We're an exploration ship, not a battle cruiser!" The hand of this one turned out to be mechanical. No doubt about it, the crew of both these ships were all robots that could think and feel.
Just then, a stern, manly general type of voice spoke up and said, "No choice! Our ship was the only one that could lock onto the Megatron's Warp Signature."
"Shields are doing a major fade!" said the teen-voiced robot, which turned out to be yellow and blue in color scheme.
"Plasma cannons to full power!" ordered the manly one.
"Right away." said another older male voice which was a robot with a brown, gold and green color scheme.
Meanwhile, one the bird-looking ship, we hear a savage voice of a robot with a brown and blue color scheme speak to a robot with a black, silver and purple color scheme to him. No doubt, the one with the purple one went by the name Megatron. "Their shields are down, destroy them." requested the blue and brown robot.
"Now, where's the fun in that?" said Megatron, in a militaristic British accent. "A little torment I think first? Yes! Fire the side guns!"
However, as both of the ships fired their guns at each other some more, a different ship was cloaked and saw how the battle was going.
"My lord, Black Diamond, sir!" said one of the underlings of this being. "We spotted two, count 'em, TWO ships entering this star system and they seem to be firing on each other."
"Well it seems we might have to rectify that." said the being called Black Diamond.
"Shall we fire?" asked another underling.
"We shall." said Black Diamond to his other underling. "Shoot them….NOW!" he ordered.
"Yes sir!" they said in unison.
So, their ship began to charge up the blasters and after they had been fully charged, *ZZZRRRRRRRPOW!* The laser fired at the ship with the red symbol on it right in the engine.
"Rapture! The Engines have been blown out, and the stasis hold is failing." said the yellow and blue robot.
The green and brown robot groaned in pain, "We're going down!"
Just then, the leader of this bunch who was a black, silver and navy blue robot with red eyes gave another order. "Launch all pods! Get them in safe orbit!"
"At once Optimus." said the teen bot.
And so the door opened and out came a set of 62 miniature ships that looked like escape pods. The ship turned around and began to fire the Plasma Cannons "All Plasma Cannons, FIRE!" ordered the military bot, now called Optimus.
*DEEOW DEEOW* The cannons fired and fired and fired, but they only hit the windshield and so Black Diamond's ship fired at the bird-shaped ship and it struck a blow to them, causing their engine to be hit. "AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
And just like that, both ships caught fire as they began to crash on the planet. Steven saw the one ship heading towards their location.
"Guys, look up there," said Steven.
"What on earth is that?" Garnet replied.
"I don't know, but I think we better run!" said Amethyst.
"Take cover!" said Pearl, as she was in a panic.
They all ran for cover in the basement area of Steven's house. *BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!* The ship with the red symbol on it crashed right next to Steven's House, they all got out of the basement and saw what it was.
"Ugh... Damage report!" said Optimus.
"Believe me, you don't wanna know." replied the teen robot.
Optimus sighed. "That's what I thought!"
Steven, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl all looked at the size of the vehicle. Steven was in awe at the unique design of it and saw the symbol on it. "Wow! What a cool logo!" he said. "I wonder what's in there."
"Let's find out," said Amethyst.
Steven began to look for a door and when he felt the hull of it, he burnt his hand, "OW OW OW OUCH!" he said, feeling hurt.
"Be careful Steven, we don't know what's in there yet." said Pearl, feeling concerned about her friend.
"Garnet, can you find out if there's anything inside?" Steven asked.
"I'll try to look," said Garnet, as she used her shades to find anything.
As Garnet looked inside, she was able to find life and was both shocked and stunned by what she found inside.
"What is it?" asked Pearl.
"I see….Robots!"
"Robots!?" they all said in unison.
"Not just any robots, they're Transformers." Garnet relayed to them.
Steven, Amethyst and Pearl were all shocked to hear that.
Meanwhile, the bird-shaped ship crashed on a volcanic island where it was away from Beach City. And inside, Megatron and his crew of robots, or Transformers as they are called, are getting their bearings.
"Navigation, Is this the right planet?" asked Megatron.
"Affirmative!" said the computer in a female voice, making them all shocked. "Planet identified as planet Earth, current year 2019. Our location, a volcano island off the coast of Beach City in the Delmarva Peninsula."
Megatron thought it over and asked, "Excellent! Now tell me, is there Energon here?"
"Confirmed!" the computer beeped and confirmed it to be true.
Megatron was overjoyed to hear this, even though he was evil. "Yessssss! The planet has energon!"
However, Megatron's happiness was shortened when he heard the additional news. "Too much energon! Field readings are off the scale! Continued exposure to robot forms will result in permanent damage."
"BLAST IT!" Megatron shouted in frustration, slamming his fist down. "Then we will create alternate forms based on the most powerful creatures throughout time and space."
"An excellent idea." said a robot with a gray, red, black and gold color scheme to him.
Just then, another robot whole was burgundy, black and army green activated a computer. "Scanners activated!" he said, as he snickered evilly.
And just then, a probe jetted out of the top of the ship and began scanning their new alternate forms. It scanned the exoskeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Velociraptor, a scorpion, a tarantula, a wasp and a Pterodactyl.
Back at Steven's House, something activated on the ship and it was glowing yellow and began scanning all over Beach City.
"What is that?" asked Steven.
"A scanning device," said Garnet.
"What could they be scanning?" Steven asked again.
"It's scanning the most powerful creatures or vehicles on the planet," said Garnet. "All Transformers are able to do that."
And so, the scanner found the structures of a silverback gorilla, a rhinoceros, a rat and a cheetah at the Beach City Zoo, locked into its onboard computer. "Scanning and replication of local life forms… Complete! You may emerge." said the voice of the green and brown robot.
Just then, the teen robot had been turned into a cheetah and liked it. "Rrrowr! Look at me, I'm a cheetah… No, I'm CHEETOR!" He declared his name.
Inside a different chamber, Optimus, who was now a gorilla mused at the name. "Interesting!"
"Interesting? Mrow! Optimus, the word is….. Spot on SMOOTH!" Cheetor admired his reflection in the mirror on what looked like a repair chamber. "Prrrrr… It's a crime!"
The snarky one came out from behind the wall. "Ha, a bit tacky! Ya never had a taste, did ya kid? Now this….. This is what class is about. Call me… RATTRAP!" he said, calling himself by his name.
Cheetor hated the remark he heard the robot called Rattrap say about him. "Oh yeah? How's about I cut meeces to pieces?"
However, the brown and green one went and broke up the fight. "Ease up there, boys! Livin' large is for forms like me… RHINOX." he said, announcing his name.
"Just consider yourself lucky I didn't get rough on ya." Rattrap remarked.
Just then, the door to the chamber Optimus was inside slowly began to open. "Moderate your conflict circuits, Maximals… Remember, these beast forms are to protect us from the long effects of the Energon fields out there." Optimus pointed towards the outside.
"We may need energon for power, but this is too much of a good thing. Our robot forms will start to short out after a 5 minute exposure." he said. "This is one unusual planet, wherever it is."
"Or whenever, big bot." said Cheetor.
"He has a point, the transwarp drive can go through space and time." Rhinox mentioned. "We were locked onto Megatron's warp signature. We could either be in the past... or even the future."
Optimus nodded to Rhinox. "Yes, and our crew is orbiting the planet in those stasis pods we lost in battle. They're protected from the Energon fields, but….It means that Megatron has us outnumbered."
Outside the ship, Steven knocked on the hull, "Hello, anyone in there!?" he called out.
"Real subtle, Steven," said Garnet.
Inside the base, the Maximals as they were called, all heard the sound
"What was that?" Cheetor asked, showing concern.
"Sounds like it was a human." said Rhinox, denoting the fact.
"That's impossible," said Rattrap. "How can there be humans on this planet?"
Optimus thought it over and then went to the window, looking out of it with a gasp of shock. "Rhinox is right! There are humans here!" he exclaimed, and then he ordered the computer of his ship, "Computer, open the hatch at once!"
"Acknowledged." said the computer, activating the mechanisms for the hatch and it opened up the door.
Steven and the others felt startled by the way the hatch opened up, but they were not afraid.
"Looks like we're going in," said Steven.
"Keep your guard on, just in case things get ugly." Pearl warned.
They all walked onto the lift and it brought them all inside of the main hold of the ship and they were greeted by the animals. "Hello!"
The lot of them looked stunned and then saw them all transform, their animal parts began converging into armor based on their animal forms. "Whoa!" said Steven, "Who or rather, what are you?"
"My name is Optimus Primal, we are Maximum Animalistic organisms from the planet Cybertron." the gorilla robot said, introducing himself and revealing his full designation. "But you can call us Maximals for short."
Garnet and the others looked at each other with confusion, "Maximals? You mean, you're not Autobots?" asked Garnet.
"No, the Autobots were our ancestors." said Optimus, revealing that to be true. "For centuries, they were at war with the Decepticons, the ancestors of our enemies, the Predacons. The Autobots won the Great War three centuries ago." he then introduced his group to them, "These are some of the members of my crew, Cheetor."
"Hey there." he greeted them.
"This is our stealth fighter and demolition expert, Rattrap."
Rattrap swings his gun around, "You feelin lucky, punk?"
"Easy Rattrap." Optimus steadied him.
"Just kidding!" Rattrap replied. "I only wanted to show them my guns," he said.
"I'd like to see that!" Amethyst smirked.
"And this is my second in command, Rhinox."
"I mostly build new weapons to use and new defenses for our ship, the Axalon." he said to them.
"It's nice to meet you all, I'm Steven Quartz Universe, this is Amethyst, Pearl and Garnet." he introduced himself and the gems.
The Maximals all looked at each other in confusion. "With names like those, are you Gems?"
"That's right." said Pearl. "Also, how did you learn to speak in human vernaculars?"
"We learned Earth's languages through the Worldwide Web." said Optimus, but then he wondered, "Tell me, Steven, where are we, what is the year and what planet are we on?"
"It's September 2019, you're on planet Earth in my hometown of Beach City in the Delmarva Peninsula on the East Coast of the United States of America." Steven told him, making them all gasp.
"Whoa! Talk about your major temporal anomalies." Cheetor said, in shock.
"You said it, spots!" Rattrap added. "2019, and on Earth of all places."
"I had no idea that there was a city like this on the East Coast." Rhinox replied.
Steven smiled and nodded, "Yes."
"A lot of things have changed " Garnet explained, "Lately, there have been some humans who resort to terrorism and some even bully others who they think are weaker than them. But, they have been trying their best to stop that sort of thing."
Optimus was perplexed about that but at the same time, he was impressed. "I see that you all have dealt with problems that are similar to ours, in a way."
"Yes, my father is out of the house and won't be back till tonight, so how about we get to know each other?" asked Steven.
"Works for me." said Rattrap, as Cheetor, Rhinox and Optimus all nodded in unison.
Meanwhile, at the volcanic island where the Predacon ship crashed, we see that the Predacons were now in their beast modes.
"No! No! NO!" said the velociraptor Predacon as he looked on. "How can this be Earth? And what year is it?" he wondered. He then turned around, "Megatron, it seems you were right. However, there is something that intrigues me. How is it possible that this planet could be Earth and if it is, how is it that we are on this island?"
"Of that, I have found out what year it is. The year we landed... is the year 2019." replied Megatron as he stepped out of the ship in the form of a tyrannosaurus rex. "And as for where, we are near the Delmarva Peninsula on the Eastern Coast of the United States of America, as it were."
"So we've landed in a place full of humans!?" asked the raptor.
"Precisely, Dinobot." he said, calling the Raptor by his true name.
The raptor robot, now called Dinobot, said, "Then, allow me to search the area."
"Of course, what kind of a leader would forbid his own soldiers to scour the area for whatever they could find?" asked Megatron in a rhetorical manner.
"DINOBOT TERRORIZE!" He then moved in numerous places as his velociraptor form became armor for his robotic body. And he began running down the path to the far side of the island, "I shall return with news of my findings." he said.
"Excellent... Now, while he's got his hands or claws full with searching the area, we shall conduct our own scheme," said Megatron. The other predacons in their beast forms approached Megatron. "Predacons, we came here looking for Energon, and this planet, Earth, is rich with the element!" he declared. "Enough Energon to power the Predacons entire galactic conquest!"
This made his soldiers agree with him.
"While we're here, be on the lookout for any Maximals that may be in the area," he added. "And if you find them, destroy them and enslave any humans that may catch on to us!"
"At once, Lord Megatron." said a scorpion, this was Megatron's most loyal crew member, Scorponok.
Little did they know, Dinobot actually stayed in the bushes and began wanting to know about Megatron's plan, and it looks like he found out. He was in horror at this. "So, Megatron, you plan to enslave the human race and finish the Maximals off for good, do you?" he wondered to himself. "Well, not if I can help it."
He converted back into Beast Mode and began roaming the island to find a way to get off it and warn the Maximals and humans about this.
Back in Beach City, outside Steven's house, the Maximals were browsing around the building and getting to know how the Gem's powers worked.
"I don't understand this," Amethyst questioned, "Why would these Predacons be running loose over stealing a Golden Disk?"
Optimus was looking over the horizon with his scanner in his eyes. "It was Cybertron's most carefully guarded Relic, Amethyst." he explained, "It gave the location of any major Energon source. That's why Megatron stole it."
Amethyst was a little baffled by this. "And you guys were supposed to be on an exploration mission and ended up getting dragged into a chase for that relic." Optimus nodded.
"Yeah I don't mean to question your orders, Optimus, but we were supposed to be doin' deep space exploration." Rattrap replied, "Playin' Galactic Patrol wasn't anywhere near my job description. Are you sure you're cut out for this commander gig?"
"Remember the Great War, Rattrap." said Optimus. "If the Predacons get enough Energon, they'll start it again. We can't let that happen!" he said in a grim way, before turning back to a semi-good mood. "Besides, you wanted exploration, and here we are on an alternate Earth."
"But, there is one thing that bugs me." Steven then brought up.
Optimus turned around, "What is it, Steven?" he asked.
"How did both your ships crash here in the first place?" he asked.
"We were shot down by an unknown enemy." replied Optimus.
"So it would be possible that it could be an evil Gem out to wipe out all the humans." said Garnet, trying to make sense of it all.
"If that's the case, we better be on our guard in case they do show up." Rhinox replied.
"Hey, check it out!" Cheetor said, looking at the many lifeforms of Beach City. "There are tons of humans and Gems here." He spotted several of the population of Humans and Gems living in harmony with each other.
"They thrive alright." said Rhinox.
"You guys are a truly amazing race of people." Rattrap complimented.
"Hey if you guys want, I can show you where they mostly go besides the beach right here." Amethyst said.
"Sweet, I'm down for that. But I need a human disguise." Cheetor said.
"That won't be necessary, Cheetor!" Amethyst grinned.
Amethyst then used some of her power to make Cheetor look human. His human form had dirty blond hair, golden eyes and he looked caucasian in skin tone while his shirt was a blue tank-top, and he also had yellow shorts with black spots on them. "All right, let's go!"
Just like that, both Amethyst and Cheetor raced off into the horizon.
"Wait, Amethyst!" Steven called out.
"Cheetor, No!" Optimus said, in a fright.
But it was too late, both Amethyst and Cheetor had already left.
Pearl sighed, "Youth, it's both a blessing and a curse."
"Too bad we have no way to get her to follow orders," said Garnet. "She's a wild child."
Amethyst and Cheetor both continued to race down the path they were going. Steven was shocked to see this.
"Cheetor, Amethyst! Return to base immediately, we don't have time for this." Optimus said in a stern voice. However, the comm-link was fading as he kept speaking into it. "Cheetor, Amethyst, please respond."
"It's not responding," said Steven.
"No good! The Energon fields mess up the comm-links." said Rhinox, "Anything over a hundred meters, they aren't worth scrap!
"It wouldn't do much good harping on it." said Pearl.
"Pearl's right." said Steven. "But, how am I gonna explain this to my dad?"
"It would be bad if he saw that there was a ruckus in the town and felt like Steven was to blame for it." said Garnett. "We don't want to have any more problems than we've already had before."
"Well, that's just prime." said Optimus, feeling a little steamed and yet worried about what Mr. Universe is gonna say about all of this. "I don't know how you and I are going to do it Steven, but just be honest with your father." he said in a calming manner.
"In the meantime, we should just go after Cheetor and Amethyst, and find a way to bring them back to the house." said Pearl, Garnet nodded in agreement.
"I'm with Pearl on this!" Rattrap agreed, "If either one of those two end up causing any more trouble, it could be very messy for the rest of us."
"Very well. Just keep your guard on, Rattrap." Optimus said, agreeing with this idea and ordered. "We don't know what else might be out there."
"Yes sir, I feel just HEAPS better knowing that our lives are in your capable hands." Rattrap replied to him, in a sarcastic way.
'We're all gonna die!' He thought to himself.
Cheetor and Amethyst were running through the town as Cheetor was in his human form, catching the eyes of the girls there and they liked the way he looked.
"How goes it ladies?" he said, winking at them, making them giggle with delight.
"Whoa, dude!" Amethyst said, in shock. "I didn't know you were a flirt."
"It's part of my personality." replied Cheetor.
"I think you're gonna fit just great here!" Amethyst smirked, "Consider this a scenic tour of the city. But if you wanna know where to pick up the ladies, I say we should head down to the beach"
"Wanna race?" Cheetor asked.
"You're on!" she said, as they two ran around the city at the speed they were going.
Just then, they saw a bunch of people running from something that frightened them.
"Hey, what's going on?"
"It's that thing!" said a female.
"Yeah, we did not come here to be scared out of our wits!" complained a male citizen.
They looked at what they were running from and they saw a giant green wasp with purple eyes buzzing around. "What? It's just a big bug." said Cheetor.
"Hold on! The way those people are reacting, that's no natural life-form for an insect." Amethyst puzzled.
"Wait a minute, Amethyst!" Cheetor gasped, "If we're talking about unnatural life-forms, then there's one logical explanation. Robots in disguise!"
Amethyst was shocked, "That must be one of those Predacons!" She then undid the disguise and that caused Cheetor to go back into his cheetah form. "Do your thing!"
"CHEETOR MAXIMIZE!" he jumped into the air, flipped forward and his cheetah form became armor for his robot form. "Time for this cat to POUNCE!"
He then pulls out his energy gun in his arsenal and the bug Predacon keeps buzzing away from his shots.
"Waspinator under attack! Waspinator engage enemy! WASPINATOR TERRORIZE!" The wasp's body began to alternate into a robotic form with a bug-like head. He fired a gun that had a stinger as the payload.
"Oh, so this Pred wants to play, well let's go!" said Amethyst, firing her blast at the Predacon.
Back at the beach house, the other Maximals and Gems all saw the blasts coming from the area.
"Uh oh! Sounds like trouble." said Rattrap.
Just then, Steven went over to the garage and got out his new ride, it looked like a cross between
"Come on guys, get in!" Steven called out.
Optimus, Rhinox, Rattrap, Garnet and Pearl all jump into the vehicle.
"Move, move!" Optimus said.
Steven then drives off in his ride while zooming.
Meanwhile, back at the volcano island, Dinobot was walking around and gathering samples of the fauna to see what would make it last in this world. Needless to say, he was quite impressed, "These vise would make wonderful camouflage against an enemy attack." he said to himself. "I'm surprised the humans of this world have not begun to go to space."
Then he went back to the base to see what was going on. He went into Megatron's quarters and began going through some data on the computer, he searched through it over and over again, and then he saw something that completely stunned him. He saw Megatron's plan for Earth and what to do with the humans.
"So this is Megatron's true intentions," Dinobot snarled in disgust, "He has no honor at all." He decided to make a copy of this data, "I've got to copy this for myself."
Dinobot then uploaded the information into his systems and after they were successfully copied, he walked out of the room and left no evidence of him being there.
He snuck around the base, and spotted that two of the other Predacons were guarding the base to make sure no intruders were spotted in the area.
"The Maximals….I must warn them." he said to himself silently. "Beast Mode." He then switched from robot form to beast form and decided to walk around the island a little more, but unbeknownst to the Predacons that were guarding the entrance, he was leaving the base.
Back in Beach City, both Cheetor and Amethyst were still fighting Waspinator, trying to out maneuver him and at the same time, Optimus, Steven and the others were still racing towards them, and Steven spotted them.
"There they are, and they're fighting something that looks like a giant bug." said Steven.
"Could it be one of those Predacons?" asked Pearl.
"Yes, that's Waspinator!" said Rhinox.
"Hence his appearance." replied Garnett.
"Oh man, leave it to the cat to get in trouble." said Rattrap, before he spotted something in the way. "Uh oh, heads up! Roadblock!" he pointed to one there, it was a big pile of rocks.
"Veer left, there's a clearing about a hundred meters away!" said Optimus.
"Hold on tight!" said Steven, as he slammed on the gas pedal and rammed right through it.
Optimus sighed, "Ah yes, silly me." he said, as they kept on going.
During the battle, Amethyst shot another blast at Waspinator. "Hey, bug boy, come at me!"
So Waspinator shot his gun again, "Who is this fleshy bot?"
"The name's Amethyst!" She made a whip with her powers, "And I happen to be a Gem!"
"Waspinator will break this Gem!"
He then shoots at Amethyst, only for her to duck out of the way.
"Shoot him, Cheetor!" Amethyst said, but the gun was not firing.
Cheetor snarled in frustration. "Of all the times for a Quasar Jam!" he raged, as he hit his gun.
Just then, Optimus, Steven and the others all arrived at the sight.
"Cheetor! Amethyst! Get to cover, we'll swat that pesky Predacon!"
"Oh, I would not count on that, Maximals. Nooo!"
Megatron finally revealed himself to them, making Steven gasp.
"For I believe that you are soon to have… how shall I say… difficulties of your own! Yessssss!"
Steven was a little bit in shock about this, as were the other Gems.
"Garnet, is that really a talking Tyrannosaurus Rex?" asked Steven.
"My guess would be... that's Megatron!" replied Garnett.
Megatron could see that the Maximals were not alone,
"Ah, I see you have new allies." Megatron said, being sarcastic.
As they all stood there, the leader of the Maximals stood proudly against his nemesis.
"We don't have to do this, Megatron. There has been peace between the Maximals and Predacons for centuries." Optimus explained, "Why start this up again?"
"Peace perhaps for your side, Maximal scum!" Megatron snarled. "But not on ours."
Steven and the Gems were perplexed about that. "Man, this guy sounds like bad news." he said, getting nods from the other Gems.
Unbeknownst to the forces on both sides, someone was watching them, this someone was hiding in the bushes and made sure they were not seen.
"Permit me to inform you that an enemy which appears to be peaceful may in fact be merely… biding it's time."
Cheetor and Amethyst tried to get Cheetor out of the rock pile that fell on him, Amethyst lifted one of the rocks and Cheetor got his blaster working again.
"Finally!" he said.
"We Predacons have never abandoned our rightful goal for galactic conquest. Nooo!" Megatron continued, "We have merely been waiting… for the right moment- to STRIKE!"
"You mean like this!?" shouted Cheetor, as he fired his gun at Megatron's face, making him wince in pain.
"Or this!?" said Amethyst as she fired her blast at Megatron.
"Cheetor, Amethyst!" Optimus said, feeling concerned for both of them.
"Ah! A treacherous, underhanded sneak attack. I like you pussycat, and you as well, purple one. Yesss!" he said, switching his mood from pleasant to anger. "But it shall not avail you two. Nooo! For now the power gauntlet has been cast…. And I am ready to fight!"
Steven and the others activated their weaponry, just in case some of them came in their direction. "As are we all!" declared Steven. At first, Optimus was dismissive, but he agreed to have them help him out.
"PREDACONS TERRORIZE!" signaled Megatron.
"Do it...MAXIMIZE!"
"TARANTULUS, TERRORIZE!" he laughed sinisterly, as the head of his tarantula form folded down to his pelvic area and he was now a robot with a purple, green, black and gold color scheme.
"RHINOX, MAXIMIZE!" Rhinox roared and went from Rhino to Robot mode. He then pulled out his gatling gun.
"SCORPONOK, TERRORIZE!" The scorpion Predacon began clapping his claws and then shifted to robot mode, with a gray, red, black and gold color tone to him.
"RATTRAP, MAXIMIZE!" He then unfolded the left side of his body, then the right, his robot legs came up and then his rat head folded into a chestplate armor while he also drew his pistol.
"TERRORSAUR TERRORIZE!" The Pterodactyl squawked and spun around in a short circle, folding his wings and then landed on the ground into his robot form that looked like it had a red, silver and gray color scheme.
"MEGATRON, TERRORIZE!" he roared and moved his Tyrannosaurus head and tail from left to right, causing his robot form to manifest.
"OPTIMUS, MAXIMIZE!" he roared and the gorilla head folded into chest armor while his legs spin around and the shoulders of his gorilla form fold up to show the inner robot in them.
Steven and the other Gems were impressed by how they were able to change their form so quickly, but then refocused on the task ahead.
"Now…. Obliterate them." Megatron ordered
The lot of them all fired their blasters, Pearl shot her arrow at Scorponok, making him perplexed. "Lucky shot, you bright one!" he taunted.
"Not luck, skill!" Pearl shot back at the scorpion Predacon.
"No matter!" Scorponok then fired another shot from his tail.
Rhinox came in and used his shoulder to block Scorponok's blast.
"Thanks!" said Pearl.
"No problem." Rhinox said to her, with a smile.
Garnett then saw the rubble Cheetor's leg was under and that it was too heavy for Amethyst to move alone.
"This is not good!" said Garnett.
Optimus fired his blast at Tarantulus and then ducked behind a barrier, "Rattrap, you and Amethyst have to help Cheetor get out of the ravine and bring them back up here!"
"I got ya, fearless leader!" Rattrap said, agreeing to call down to her. "Hey, are you gonna help out or what?"
"I'm on my way, but first, I have to get Cheetor out of here!"
"Yeah, there's still some rubble on my leg!" Cheetor said, feeling like he was still trapped.
"Will you hurry it up already?" Rattrap asked, only to get shot from behind by Waspinator.
"Amethyst!" Steven shouted in fright. "You shouldn't have bolted off like that!"
"It wasn't MY idea!" Amethyst shot back at Steven.
Rattrap complained in grief. "Oh yeah, right! Just do what he says already?" he demanded, while trying to avoid Terrosaur's attack.
"Trying not to get shot from behind like right now, you dunce!" she shot back at Rattrap.
"Oh for slag's sack, I'll do it myself." Rattrap groaned, he then ran towards the edge of the crevice.
Garnet and Steven were in the middle of their gun duel with Scorponok and Tarantulus. "Alright, good luck!" said Pearl.
"Be careful, Rattrap!" Optimus called out to his spy.
"I will!" said Rattrap to his leader, "Try not to get blown up while I get them out!"
Optimus felt some form of sarcasm from him, but went along with it. "Will do!"
During the battle, Megatron fired his blaster from the tip of his T-Rex tail and shot a magenta laser at them. After hitting Scorponok successfully, Pearl then went over to Rhinox and said, "Rhinox, Rattrap and Amethyst need cover fire."
He nodded in agreement. "Right! They need it, we give it. Ready? Now!" Rhinox said, and Pearl followed suit.
The two of them continued to fire at both Terrorsaur and Waspinator, and at the same time, Cheetor fired at Tarantulus from below while Amethyst still had trouble getting Cheetor's leg out. "One side, Amethyst!" said Rattrap, as he aimed his gun, prompting Amethyst to get out of the way.
Just then, Scorponok opens fire at Rattrap and then, his missile is deflected by Amethyst's shield. "What are these creatures?" Scorponok said to himself.
Cheetor cheered for Amethyst, "WOOHOO, Nice defense there, Amethyst!" he said.
"Thanks, anything to help out a Maximal, even if this someone is a Gem." Amethyst said back to him, pointing out what she was.
"Could've used your help earlier." Rattrap said back to her.
Little did they know, Scorponok overheard it all. "So, they're Gems!" He then turned his head over to Megatron, "These creatures helping the Maximals are in fact Gems!"
"Gems you say, Scorponok?" he asked, prompting Scorponok to nod, "So, resorting to gemstone humanoid allies, Primal?"
Garnett then began to launch her fists at Terrorsaur, making him squawk in pain.
"Yeah, got a problem with that?" Optimus taunted.
"That's what happens when you mess with Steven Universe!" Steven said, declaring who he was.
Megatron grows angry with frustration at the sight of his forces being pummeled. "You gems are making me very bloody angry! DO NOT LET THEM ESCAPE!" he yelled.
"Wazzzpinator got one called Steven!" said Waspinator, as he swooped down for an attack.
"I don't think so, bugbrain!" Amethyst then fired another shot at Waspinator's wing, causing him to spiral out of control.
The lot of them all got out of the ravine and were successful in the retrieval of their allies. "We're out of that ravine!" said Cheetor.
"Thank Primus!" said Optimus, sighing in relief.
"We've gotta get out of here!" said Steven.
"Back to the base! Let's go!" Optimus nodded, as he and the others all converted back into Beast Mode and loaded up into Steven's ride.
Megatron was about to continue firing on them. "After them you fools!" but then, he was shocked by some form of electricity emanating from his body, and the other Predacons began feeling the same way.
"Wazzzpininator cannot move!" said Waspinator as he felt weak.
"Energon field buildup." Megatron then felt weakened by this development. "Convert back to beast mode."
Megatron and the other Predacons revert to beast mode, as did the other Predacons.
Meanwhile in space, we see the Shadow Diamond Empire's ship still in orbit around Earth, and just as one of them was about to fire on the Earth, the blast was interrupted by someone who startled the shooter and they hit a stasis pod, causing it to be launched away from Earth and it crashed elsewhere.
"Idiot! What were you doing!?" demanded the sergeant who came walking in on them.
"I'm terribly sorry, sir!" He apologized to him. "I was practicing my targeting skills, just like you told me to do, but when you came in here, you startled me sir!" He stood at attention.
The sergeant then said, "Well, be more careful, soldier!" he urged. "You almost tore up the city down below!"
"Yes sir!"
Just then, Black Diamond walked in and said, "Sargent Bloodorange, was that a laser I heard going off?" he asked.
"No need to worry, my lord." said Sargent Bloodorange, "One of the soldiers under my wing was working on his target practice and when I came in here, I startled him, causing him to his one of those stasis pods that was jettisoned from the Maximal ship." he informed.
"WHAT!?" said Black Diamond, in shock.
"I'm terribly sorry, my lord." the soldier bowed to him, "Please, forgive me!" he begged.
Black Diamond didn't get angry, "You grovel wonderfully. I like that in a soldier." he mused. "You may rise."
As he walked past the two, Black Diamond saw a tall, busty and and slender yet curvy woman walk by, she was dressed in a purple outfit that exposed her H cup breasts, she had long dark hair and purple eyes while the Gem she had was directly above her cleavage, and as she walked, her boobs began to bounce.
"What's all the commotion?" she asked, in a voice that sounded like Fujiko Mine from Lupin III. The other part of her outfit made her look a little bit like a pirate captain, only she did not have a hat.
"Nothing, milady!" said Sgt. Bloodorange.
Black Diamond smiled, "Ah, Tanzanite, my love." he said, as he kissed her deeply on the lips. "What brings you to the targeting deck, my dear?"
"Oh, just wanted to see what planet we were to invade." said Tanzanite, as she looked out the window at the planet, "Ah, what a beautiful planet it is. What is it called?"
"They call it, Earth." said the sergeant.
"I have been to this planet before." said Black Diamond. "And it seems as though some Cybertronians, or Transformers, got caught in the crossfire as I sent them crashing to the surface."
"Ah, are you going to destroy them?" asked Tanzanite.
"I sure will… But not yet." he replied. "I will wait till the time comes, and then get revenge on the White, Blue and Yellow Diamonds, as well as that accursed Steven Universe."
"Oh yes, him." said the woman in dark purple.
"Soon, their world… and the galaxy will be ours!" he laughed evilly.
Back on Earth, Steven and the Maximals all drove back to his house in his ride, which was now going at normal speed limits. Steven looked at the rear-view mirror and there was no sign of Megatron or his Predacons.
"Looks like we got away from them," said Steven.
"Yes, thanks to you, Steven." said Optimus, congratulating Steven.
"Yeah now we just need to get these two to follow your orders, Optimus." Rattrap pointed out.
He nodded to that in agreement. "Right."
Amethyst rolled her eyes, "Hey, I don't need some rat telling me who I'm supposed to take orders from."
Optimus then turned around and then gave them both a serious look, but first he snarled at both of them, making them frightened a little bit.
"Look Rattrap, I know you're not that fond of teaming up." Optimus pointed out in a little bit of frustration. "But right now we need all the allies that we can get."
"Hey I don't have a problem with that, I'd just wish that Amethyst would follow orders, and not be too much of the 'Wild Child' that Garnet said she is."
Optimus turned his head over to Garnett, but she shrugged her shoulders and tried to stay out of it. "None-to-less, we want you to take it easy Rattrap, you've suffered injuries and should not blame others for it."
"Hey at least we've made it out of there alive, that's something." Rattrap replied in an unsure way.
"Yeah, but injured," said Cheetor. "It will take a while for our Beast Forms to make repairs."
Steven noticed that Optimus was deep in thought now.
"Is something on your mind, Optimus?" asked Steven.
"Yes, something was not right!" Optimus said, as he explained. "According to the Golden Disk Theft Reports, there were six Predacons on their ship. One of them was missing from the battle today."
"Yeah, I thought it was just five." said Pearl.
"Do you think that one Pred was destroyed in the crash?" Amethyst asked.
"I wouldn't count on that, Amethyst." Pearl replied. "We would have to be lucky if he did."
"That kind of luck we haven't been getting much of, lately!" Rhinox sighed.
"That one Predacon can be anything, and can be anywhere at any time." Garnet mentioned.
"Tell me about it. Look!" Cheetor said, looking down the path and so Steven stopped the car.
In front of them was a brown velociraptor. They all got out of the vehicle and stood in front of him. "This has got to be the Predacon that was missing from the battle," said Steven.
"Should we blast him?" asked Rhinox.
"Keep that option open... but hang on." said Optimus, as he and Steven stepped forward.
"Hello, my name is Steven Universe, who are you?" Steven asked, introducing himself.
It was then that the Raptor spoke. "Attention, Maximals and humans, my name is Dinobot." he said to them.
"Dinobot, why are you here?" asked Steven.
"I have left the Predacons to join your group, and help you in the battle against them." he then continued on. "As a strategist."
"Whoa!" Amethyst said, in shock. "Did I hear the word, Strategist?"
Rattrap, Rhinox, Cheetor and the others were all stunned to hear that.
"And I thought he was gonna say leader," said Pearl.
"Yeah, you and me both." Rattrap agreed.
"This guy's got bearings of chrome steel." said Rhinox.
Dinobot then spoke to Optimus, "I wish to prove myself to you, Optimus Primal, and you as well, Steven Universe."
"Prove yourself to us?" asked Steven.
"How?" asked Optimus.
"I will do anything you wish," said Dinobot. "And in return, I will give you the plan Megatron has in store for the humans, which I stole from him!"
This made them all gasp and look at each other in shock. "Should we trust him?" asked Amethyst.
"I dunno. It seems too convenient." replied Rattrap.
What could this be? A Predacon betraying his own kind to help the Maximals and the Gems in their battle? What else is in store for them? There's only one way to find out...Stay tuned for another exciting chapter of….STEVEN UNIVERSE: WAR OF THE BEASTS!
