Danny Phantom flew above the city of Amity Park. It was three days since he last saw someone he was close to, Danielle.

Now, he was out getting some air.

The wind blew in his face, making him feel relaxed.

"Well… this is a wonderful night. Can't help but love-" That's when his ghost sense went off.

Danny stopped in place, looking left and right to see who did that.

The sound of a guitar being struck was followed by a giant fist of green energy that knocked him down.

He was sent flying downward, creating a crater in the golf course of the country club.

Opening his eyes, he saw who it was who did that.

Above was a familiar young woman with a guitar, with fiery blue hair, dark makeup, one long opera glove, a shirt with one strap and skull-styled boots. She looked down with a grin.

"Guess who just became an all star, Dipstick?!" She asked victoriously.

"... huh?" Danny asks, looking up as he had his hand on his head to soothe the pain.

"That's right, me!" Ember said with a grin. "Now… let's celebrate!"

She flew downward at increasing speeds, raising her guitar to pummel Danny with it.

In response, Danny rolled out of the way and flew off in time to avoid the attack.

Thinking fast, Danny fired a ghost ray that knocked her down. It worked for a moment before Ember herself rolled on the ground, using the momentum of the blast to find her footing and raise her guitar to fire.

Danny was forced to react fast, raising a shield to protect himself. However, the blast was too much for him, breaking through and sending him sliding on the grass.

It took Danny a moment before he saw Ember flying towards him with intent to do harm.

The rockstar raised her guitar, intending to swing it downward to knock Danny out. However, her attack only connected with the dirt, much to her surprise. She was then hit by two pairs of fists that sent her back, making her let go of the guitar.

She landed on her rear as she looked up, seeing two Phantoms. It turns out that he had split in half in time to avoid the attack. Both Phantoms fist bumped before returning to being one entity.

"Out with it, all star. What are you talking about?" Danny questioned with his arms crossed.

"Hello! You were a part of that like last year!" Ember said.

Danny had gripped his own chin in thought before it hit him.

"Oh that… I totally forgot that was a thing." Danny said.

"Wait, you did?" Ember asks, getting back up.

"Yeah… it was kind of under budget, didn't have a lot of interesting choices for people to show up, only two of the Turtles were there, they weren't even from the two most closely associated with us. They were chosen because of nostalgic favoritism. And I have no idea why that cat was there." Danny said.

"You make it sound like it wasn't that big a deal." Ember said, arms crossed.

"It wasn't… we were just copying the obvious better product." Danny said.

"But it improved, didn't it?" Ember asks.

"It did… but I still don't really think it's that big a deal." Danny said.

"It is for someone who isn't you or your dork friends! Someone like me!" Ember said, gesturing to herself proudly.

"Well… I can't imagine Sam or Tucker surviving that kid who made rocks fly in the air." Danny admitted.

"So… since I'm joining the party, let's party!" Ember shouted with a grin as her hair flared up.

Danny rolled his eyes as he readied for more.

"Here we go…" Danny muttered.

Ember flew in and pulled her arm back. Danny raised his own arm, ready to block. However, this was a ploy of Ember's, as instead of her fist, her knee connected with his stomach to fight dirty.

Danny pulled back, holding onto his stomach to reel from the pain, too distracted to see Ember's boot as she kicked his face.

Danny ended up hitting his head in the dirt as Ember grabbed his foot to swing him away.

"I can do this all night!" She declared as she pulled out her guitar and struck a chord to fire a wave of energy at Danny.

In response, Danny made a duplicate in time to grab his leg and swing him out of the way before the copy was destroyed by the attack.

Once he managed to balance himself and float right-side up, Danny held two orbs of fiery energy in his hands before tossing them at Ember.

The rockstar spirit used her guitar like a baseball bat and swung to redirect the orbs back at their sender. Danny was able to avoid the attacks by bobbing slightly out of the way. He wasn't done yet, firing a stream of cold out of his eyes. Ember responded by tilting her head forward and releasing a stream of fire that collided with the cold stream.

The collision caused a small explosion that pushed the two away from each other even further.

Ember slid on the ground before it finally stopped, allowing her to push herself up. She was ready to resume the fight when she noticed Danny was not getting up himself. Curious, she got up and walked towards the downed Phantom.

There, she saw him still in ghost form but not moving.

Seeing an opportunity, Ember raised her guitar to pummel him. Her grin at finishing him was gone as she studied his face.

She felt something less hostile, less hateful as she realized this was the first time she's been alone with him and he was out cold.

Ember lowered her guitar and took a knee to get a closer look at him.

"Hmm… y'know… he's kind of cute when he's not making dumb jokes or getting in my way…" Ember said to herself.

He poked his face a few times with her gloveless hand before stroking his face.

She smiled in a combination of interest, smugness and desire.

"Well… no one's around to make rumors about us… and when am I ever gonna get the chance to do this?" She asked herself.

With that, she had both knees on the ground as she had both hands around his head, slowly lifting it closely to her face.

She slowly opened her mouth and closed the gap with his gaping one.

Danny's eyes slowly opened, blinking moments before he noticed how oddly close Ember's face was to his. It was then he felt something on his lips and something entering his mouth.

He realizes Ember was kissing him. Not just kissing, but sticking her tongue in his mouth.

With a gasp of shock, Danny pushed Ember off. The rockstar was mildly shocked as Danny crawled back and wiped his mouth.

"What in the heck were you doing?!" He asked, surprised to have been frenched by Ember of all girls.

"Pfft… what's the problem? All I did was give you a taste of the rockstar life." Ember went, thinking he was being ungrateful.

"Okay! First of all… I have no idea how old you are supposed to be. Second, you and I have been at odds with each other since we met… why would I WANT you to kiss me?!" Danny questioned angrily.

"Sheesh… ungrateful, much? Y'know, I'm very out of your league…" Ember went as if she did nothing wrong.

"And what league are you supposed to be from? The Injustice League?!" Danny questioned.

"Oh, what's wrong? Are you and the Goth finally getting along so well?" Ember mockingly questioned.

Danny was instantly startled before he cleared his throat.

"W-What?! We're just friends!" He went, being too distracted to see Ember's boot coming at his face when she kicked him.

"Pay attention, Baby Pop." Ember said with a grin.

Danny then found himself on the ground. He attempted to get us before Ember's boot landed on his chest.

Looking up, he saw Ember looking down on him with a smug smile on her face before it was replaced with a rather disdainful look on her face.

"Never disregard a woman's affections, especially if that woman can clobber you." She said in a low voice.

"Duly noted. But…" Danny said before he grabbed her by the ankle with both hands. "We haven't even gone on a date yet!"

With that, he used his strength to swing her off, slamming her into the ground.

Ember pushed herself up and huffed.

"I was actually having fun there!" Ember went.

Danny rolled back before she could kick him, giving him an opportunity to fire his cold power at her, freezing her in time as she got on her knees. The ice reached up to her head.

Angered, Ember tried to break free, only for Danny to walk around and look down at her smugly.

"Your new tour's on ice." He said with arms crossed.

"Ugh! And you make fun of my music puns!" Ember called out.

"Well, I guess we have more in common than we thought. We can't stand each other's puns." Danny pointed out with a laugh.

"I'm also… a lot stronger than you think!" Ember said before, after closing her eyes and taking a breath, managed to break free from the ice.

Ember then took hold of her guitar again and swung it in a diagonal manner, only for Danny to catch it.

"So am I!" Danny said before elbowing her with enough force to knock her into the ground.

Ember breathed heavily, her chest rising and lowering with each one before she grinned.

"Having fun again." She said excitedly.

"Of all the girls associated with the color blue I could be in a fighting game with, my first choice was a Chinese vampire from the 90's." Danny admitted.

"I'm way hotter than her." Ember said, her ponytail was flaring up.

"You're not wrong, but not for the reason you think." Danny said as his fists glowed blue.

He unleashed another blast of cold that Ember countered by turning her body and using her ponytail like a fiery whip.

As soon as both attacks collided, Danny and Ember were thrown further away.

Danny slid on the ground for seconds before it finally stopped. Using the momentum, Danny rolled his body before he could sit upright, taking a good look at what happened to Ember. He saw her on the ground, crumpled up in a fetal position and seemingly unconscious.

Seeing an opportunity, he walked towards her and slowly reached for the Fenton Thermos he hid.

However, as he got closer, he got a good look at her.

He saw her expression was not of anger or smugness, but one of relative peace.

"Huh…" He got closer to her, his face now hovering over hers. "She's actually… beautiful when she's not shouting insults or threats…"

With that, Ember blew a kiss at him.

"You sweet talker you." She said before punching him in the jaw.

Danny pulled back, holding the side of his jaw with a hand before Ember got up and kneed him in the stomach.

For a very brief moment, the two shared a brief look into each other's eyes.

Wow… they're… beautiful… He thought before he fell onto his back.

His head hit the ground.

"Ugh…" Danny went, stirring awake.

Sitting up, he saw he was still exactly where he was when Ember kneed him. Turning his head, he saw Ember was on her side, resting her head on her hand as she smiled at him.

"Took you 2 minutes, Baby Pop." Ember said.

"Two minutes?" Danny asks as he rubs his head, still throbbing. "You waited for me to wake up and not attack me?" Danny asks.

"I almost considered taking advantage of the situation again and giving you a big wet one… but I decided to wait." Ember admitted.

"A-And… you didn't?" Danny asks, his face turning red.

"I figure this time I want you awake." Ember said as she inched closer to him.

Instinctively, Danny pulled away.

"Uh, hold it there." He said.

"Heh… so I guess you do get weak-kneed around girls." Ember snarked.

"Well, only the not evil ones." Danny said.

"Oh? Well…" Ember then moved with a quick enough speed to get on top of Danny. "Feeling weak now?"

She now straddled him, hands on his shoulders pushing him down as her legs were at his side.

Danny could feel her legs lightly touching him, almost stroking him as he felt his face go warm.

"N-No…" He said, clearly denying it.

Ember scoffed with a smile.

"I knew it… you're a growing boy, after all." She said.

"W-Why are you… suddenly interested in seducing me?" Danny asked, finding his mouth oddly dry at the moment.

Ember shrugged, though the look on her face suggested she had her reasons.

"I don't know… but I find it kind of fun." She admitted.

"It's fun to hit on a 14 year old?" Danny asks.

"It is when you're physically still a teenager. Ghosts don't age unless we want to." Ember admits.

"Nice lesson… I'll be sure to write it down in my notes later." Danny said as he tried to get up.

"Whoa there, Baby Pop." Ember said as she continued to push him down. "We're not fighting anymore… why not just… relax?" She spoke in an almost soothing tone.

Danny felt his face get redder as he tried to avoiding looking her in the face.

"Because you tried to kill me more than twice." He said.

"In the long run? Not that important…" Ember said.

"You're crazy…" Danny said.

"True… but that doesn't mean I'm not good company." Ember said.

"Agree to disagree…" Danny responded flatly.

"I don't think your body disagrees… I can feel how… relaxed you are." Ember said as she lightly caressed his shoulders.

Danny felt his heart beat a bit faster as he gulped rather audibly.

"So… can we go back to punching and kicking and stuff?" He asks.

"What's the rush? We got til November, after all." Ember said. "Now… how to kill time? I know… let's make out."

"Yeah, that's happening." Danny said flatly. "No offense but I'm not interested in swapping spit with you."

"You seem to be under the impression you have a choice here. Plus…" Her gloveless hand left the shoulder and went to his chest, causing him to freeze up. "I don't think you're as against it as you claim to be."

Danny felt his face go warm again before he made eye contact with Ember.

"Well… I can't say it's the worst way to keep you from causing trouble." He said jokingly before he smiled, finding himself actually enjoying this.

"I'll take that as a yes…" Ember said happily before she slowly pressed her lips on his.

Danny closed his eyes and kissed her back.

Danny Phantom and Ember McLain began kissing deeply and they would remain in that spot for hours.
