Forenotes for the Prince of Slytherin
This story is canon-divergent, it sort of follows the original Harry Potter stories but it pivots from Halloween night 1981 when the wrong boy is chosen as the boy who lives
It is important to note there will be major changes in my story
Judging by the title, Harry will be sorted in Slytherin instead of Gryffindor (I believe he would have excelled better in Slytherin)
A lot of the background Slytherin characters will be main characters (Blaise Zabini, Daphne Greengrass, Theodore Nott and of course my favourite blonde Draco Malfoy who will be OC***)
Draco, Harry, Neville and Hermione will be portrayed very differently from how they were in the novels***
Harry's Aunt will be prominent don't like don't read
The pairing will be Harry/Hermione but be warned that this is a slow-burner (not super slow but I need to develop the story a bit before I can even focus on their relationship)
Other pairings will come later
There will be original characters which I will create for more story
The biggest warning I can give to you is the changing of Hermione's race
This has been a problem since the abomination called Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Now I love white girl Hermione but I want to make her mixed race so be WARNED SHE WILL NOT BE WHITE (I DON'T WANT ANY ANNOYING ARSE COMMENTS LIKE UHH DO YOU KNOW HERMIONE IS WHITE THANK YOU, I KNOW!)
I know there are other stories called The Prince of Slytherin (I have never read any of them so I am unsure if my story will be the same but you can let me know in the reviews)
There will be some French in my story but I think the words are understandable (my future is rusty, it has been four years since I studied French but I will try my best)
I will add more notes most likely at the bottom or top of my chapters (PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ THEM- I do not want any reviews shocked at something I already mentioned in my author's note)
Constructive criticism is welcomed but mean comments will be deleted (I know the HP fandom can be harsh but unnecessary hate is not wanted)
