The Golden Truth

The small town of Volturi Italy was brimming with excitement and celebrating St Marcus's Day without a care in the world. There was large groups of people in red robes and many different stalls and activities for younger children. There was a massive parade with gymnastics and dance occurring flawlessly. The trees looked sharp in the sun as the green was reflected off them. There is a lot of tourists which works to the Benefit of the vampires that live below the town. Walking down the dimly lit hallway during the parade was painful to listen to but at the same time, it was a good pain. I will have to hurry to make it to my next scheduled meetings. I pick up the pace a little, not running but walking fast. I'm still unsure what the meeting is about but it must be important. I turn the corner and there was the ladder. I reached for the ladder and held it. I take a deep breath in and out. I'm trying to keep myself composed. It's hard to do when you're seen as the calm one. As I pull myself up the ladder and open the hatch next to the reception desk. I look around and pull myself up to the floor level. The big doors to the chambers are a little open. Indicating that I was in-fact late. Hurrying to the door I quickly make my apologies. "Well younger brother, you are late. Why is that my dear Marcus?" Aro asked.

I looked towards him, his arms where already outstretched. I comply and hold his hand within mine. Within an instant I am drawn through all my recent memories. The loudness from the outside in the moment amplified. But as quick as it happened it soon vanished from my mind no quicker then it got there itself. Aro looked at me directly and gave a small sympathetic smile. Cauis on the other hand wasn't so patient and hit the table in frustration. "Can we please get to why you called us here Aro?" Exclaimed a frustrated Cauis. Aro turned around and began to speak. "I have a small proposition on the table that I would like to discuss with my dear brothers" I looked at the table and saw lists of names.

"Then get to the point!?" Spat Cauis. I stepped in as it's not like Cauis to be this irritable with Aro. "Just try to be patient, remember to breathe through the anger and let it out, or would you like a bowl of ice cubes" I suggested. "Alright, when your right your right Marcus." Said Cauis. Aro summoned Jane and asked for the bowl of ice. It was quickly bought over without hesitation. "Thank you, Jane, you are dismissed" Aro chirped. Jane nodded her head in respect and quickly went back to her training post. "So back to business" Aro exclaimed, we both listened intently, "I want to build a school for gifted children and adolescents. It will allow us to grow our family. However, there are conditions that will be made." Rambled Aro. I looked at Aro then pondered the thoughts, as I gaze met again, I pause for a moment then ask "what type of requirements?
