So, I was reading a fanfic that had Jaune be an Eldritch entity posing as a human to learn the customs and what not. I really liked the concept and wondered how it would be if Pyrrha was the Eldritch entity and here we are.
So, Pyrrha here has a real form where her actual name is lost to time and has an array of abilities, among which we will see in this chapter, which will likely be a one-shot.
Pyrrha looked at the carnage around her as she turned to look at her attacker, her ankle trapped by a spear. She had been a student at the prestigious Beacon, a school for Hunters. She also was quite popular on the dueling circuit, her prodigal status being the reason she was in her current predicament. Her exceptionally high skill compared to her peers made her the prime candidate on Ozpin's eyes for the next Fall Maiden.
Yes, the same Fall Maiden, one of the four Maidens who were named after the Seasons. Yes, they were real. However, it wasn't that much of a well kept secret as there were some people after the power, which included her current enemy, Cinder Fall.
The woman in the red dress had a sadistic glee on her face as she readied her weapon again. She had attacked Amber, the previous Fall Maiden and ripped out a part of her power, and thus was on the hunt for the complete version. It was already a hard battle with her. Cinder had not even used a lick of her Fall Maiden power and Pyrrha was already struggling to capture her alive. Cinder was smart enough to not have any metal on her during her fight, showing that this attack was in the plan for quite some time. This infuriated her to no ends. The fact that they had planned this for so long, the plan to kill her and cause death and destruction to the people she cared about.
It seemed that every minuscule action was a result of her planning. Cinder had used Ozpin showing her the Maiden as a way to know where she was kept. Her eyes widened. Was … was her sending Jaune away a part of her devious plan? Had she essentially sent Jaune to his death in an effort to protect him? Her eyes teared up a little at that image. Jaune had been a prominent figure in her life at Beacon. He always had a smile, even when he wasn't sure of himself.
However, before she went to face Cinder, Jaune didn't have a smile nor was he worried, he was actually frightened. Frightened for her. She had kissed him and thrown him into a locker to force him to leave the area. He was terrified, and she was sure that there were some tears on his face as well.
She lowered her head, soaking in what she had done to the person she loved dearly. She was sure that if she did die today, he'd be broken beyond belief, and any happiness he showed on his face today would be fake. She was sure that with her gone, he'd be the one chasing down Cinder and her allies. She was sure that her actions today would define Jaune's life.
Looking into the eyes of her would-be killer, she just had one question, "Do you believe in destiny?"
Cinder just scoffed, "Destiny is just an excuse for the weak to remain weak." She said, "It's the person who's in control of their future, and I intend to take what's rightfully mine." She said as she readied her spear, about to launch it when something different happened that made her pause.
Pyrrha sighed as she stood up, the spear that trapped her to the ground disappearing as she did so. She looked at Cinder with a pitiful look on her face, something that Cinder despised.
"DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT!" She screamed as she launched forward, intent on making the Invincible Girl pay. Her speed was nothing to scoff at, being easily able to outpace Pyrrha herself, and she was sure this would happen again, if not for the sudden burst of speed her target showed.
Cinder found herself stopped right on her tracks as she was lifted by her neck. She dropped her weapon as she tried to pry the hand off her just so she could get some oxygen back into her system. She looked into the eyes of the person who was doing this and was shocked to see the same emerald eyes that belonged to the Invincible Girl.
"H-h-how?" She stuttered out, trying to claw free.
Pyrrha simply smiled as she let go and walked away to collect her weapons, "I've always held back." She said, "Back when you had your little goon, Mercury, challenge me in that class, I knew what you were up to."
Cinder gasped as she found herself extremely weakened, so she did the next best thing; glare at Pyrrha as she continued on.
"I intentionally showed him some of my power, which was quite sneaky to be honest," Pyrrha said as she lifted up Cinder's Scroll, activating it, allowing the live-stream to continue. Cinder snarled at that; now the whole world was watching and she no longer had the option to hide in plain sight. "It was quite smart for him to hide his legs, which are simple prosthetics, and have Yang 'destroy' them, making her the bad guy and put her out of the whole tournament."
The whole world gasped at such a play.
"Furthermore, you did it by having your other partner, Emerald, use her Semblance to make Yang see things that weren't there, something you thought would effect me during my fight with Penny."
Cinder growled as she slowly stood up, rubbing her throat due to the pain she felt when the redhead had her hands wrapped around it. Pyrrha smiled as she threw her Scroll on to the ground, shattering it and then looked at the moon, noting the shattered pieces.
Seeing this as an opportunity, Cinder rushed at the woman, trying to salvage her current situation and get away from the area. 'VICTORY IS MINE!' She thought in her head as she readied her weapon once more, yet Pyrrha easily dodged it, ducking under it and kneeing her in the gut.
Pain. It was all Cinder felt as she kneeled on to the ground. How was she getting outpaced to such an extent? Salem had promised her power, yet she was getting thrashed around suddenly like an old doll. It made no sense at all.
She heard footsteps, knowing it was Pyrrha once again, taunting her. "You want to know why you won't win here?" She asked, making the Fall Maiden angry. How dare she assume that she'll be the victor tonight, "It's because you trusted Salem."
And with that, Cinder's eyes widened. Had Ozpin told her about her mistress? No, that wasn't possible. She had Torchwick's underling follow them around from the start, and Ozpin made no mention of it to anyone but his trusted allies, and Pyrrha was certainly not on that list.
"Oh, I know what you're thinking, Cinder, and I have the answer." Pyrrha told her, still retaining that DAMNED smile. "I've always known of her existence. What she was, what she became, what she shows herself as, and what she deserves." She said as she looked off into the distance.
(Salem's Castle)
Salem, the reason for all the carnage, was gripping the edge of her throne as she looked on via her Grimm, as Tyrian was barking about how she is a Goddess and how he'll love torturing her.
Her brows furrowed at the reveal that she knew of her existence. She stood up, which silenced Tyrian who eagerly awaited whatever command she would give.
She had to be eliminated. Someone who could best the Fall Maiden's power and know of her existence, someone who wasn't even accounted for, was dangerous. "Tyrian, I want you to go to-"
"Oh, that won't help you, Salem." She froze as she looked back at the Jellyfish Grimm she was using to look at the events outside of her castle.
Had she just talked to them? She heard chuckles coming from the girl, "Of course I'm talking to you." Pyrrha spoke as she looked through the screen. "I know what you're going to do, you're going to order your loyal lapdog Tyrian Callows to hunt me down and bring me to you. But sadly that won't work."
Tyrian snarled, what did that little idiotic girl know about his mistress.
"Oh, this little girl knows a lot the faux-Goddess." Tyrian froze as all the oxygen left his body. Had she read his mind. "I know all about her. Tell me Salem, what would your daughters say? What would little Ruby, Summer, Penny and Hope say about their mother becoming a demented being who wants to destroy the very world they live on?"
Salem's eyes widened as she promptly killed the Seer that was present near Beacon as she clutched her heart. How had she known about her daughters? It was simply impossible for Ozma to have told her about that.
"Don't worry, I'll help you reunite with them. It's the least I can do for them." Pyrrha's voice, for some reason, echoed in the chamber. She had to wait patiently at that. This was beyond what she had even imagined.
(Beacon)
Cinder looked on as Pyrrha somehow began to address Salem, and even threatened Tyrian. How did she know about them? "Well, let's end this, shall we?" Pyrrha asked as she began to walk towards Cinder who could only stumble away as she kept her eye on the advancing woman.
Perhaps it was the pain that she was feeling, perhaps it was the fear she felt, but for some unknown reason, time seemed to slow down and Pyrrha had began to change.
At first, it was just her hair which began to unravel from the ponytail and began to spread outwards, like tentacles. They seemed to cover the whole sky, putting the moon in a sea of red. It seemed as if Pyrrha herself was connected to the sky.
Then, from her back, several white wings sprouted, all of them spanning over several feet, encompassing the area around her. She was now trapped in a cocoon of feathers.
Finally, or so it seemed, the last change occurred. She now had several pairs of eyes. Well, several would be an understatement. One pair of them were visible above Pyrrha's normal eyes, emerald in colour. Her arms had a length of eyes as well, as did the wings. However, the worst of all was that they all were focused on her.
Cinder squirmed as she remembered the stares she used to get when she was a kid. Whenever the adults demeaned her, whenever the kids made fun of her. She began to tear up, her past haunting her present, her past trauma tormenting her once again.
"Now, I'm going to give you a chance to redeem yourself, a chance that you never had been given." Pyrrha said, her voice familiar yet quite strange as it seemed to echo all around, "A chance you wouldn't ever have been given by Salem."
The stares intensified as Cinder cried out, "Please, I'll do anything, just get the stares to stop." Her eyes filled with tears as several of them rolled down her cheek, staining them, her trauma not allowing her to wipe them away.
Pyrrha smiled as she replied, "That's all I ask of you." She casually grabbed Cinder's head, the person offering no resistance to that, and placed it on her lap as she sat down and began to caress her hair, like a mother would caress her daughter. "Tell me who else is on Salem's side." She asked. Of course she knew who Salem had, but hearing it from Cinder herself would be beneficial to the current Fall Maiden.
If she chose to protect Salem, Pyrrha would have to erase her and reconstruct her from scratch.
"There's Tyrian Callows, Arthur Watts, and Hazel Rainart, among others." Cinder started, "Though, I don't think Hazel is fully on her side." She added on through her tears and sniffles.
"Is there anything else should I know, like any allies made for this little incident?" Pyrrha asked.
Cinder nodded as she sniffled, "Yes, I had the White Fang be a part of this, well, a branch of it, under Adam's command."
Pyrrha smiled at the honest truth she was giving and nodded, "Thank you for that Cinder. I noticed that you didn't have a nice childhood, did you?" Cinder nodded at that, "While your crimes are quite many, targeting the innocent and allying yourself with Salem, I think I can help you." She said. "However, you'll have to give up the Maiden's power you have."
Cinder nodded, her mind warped at the environment around it. It was getting difficult to look at Pyrrha without becoming a mess of tears and sniffles. It actually hurt her to look at her former target. "Sleep." She was told, and sleep she did, drifting into a dream where she was happy with what she had, not lusting for more.
Pyrrha looked at the now sleeping woman, and began to work her magic like she used to do all those years ago. First, she needed to change her hair, so she figured something blonde would suit her, and some of her facial features as well.
With some quick work done, she knew she had to focus on other things. Reverting back to her human form, she looked at the arriving Ruby. "Huh, what happened here? Where's Cinder?" The young girl asked.
Pyrrha gave a soft smile, "Well, I was able to beat Cinder and she fled." Pointing to the unconscious girl, she continued, "She did, however, had a hostage to force me to be defensive. You should take her to the medics since I believe she took a huge bump." Ruby nodded as she hoisted the girl up onto her shoulder.
Pyrrha looked on as she smiled. This world had a lot of good people, who were willing to help others, no questions asked. "Oh, by the way, Jaune's looking for you." Ruby said, which got her attention, "He called me and Weiss to help you." She mumbled.
"Is he okay?" She asked.
Ruby frowned a little, "I ….I don't think so." She said and Pyrrha's heart began to beat faster than it normally would, "I think he's hurt mentally, he was sobbing." Pyrrha frowned as she rushed towards the general location she had sent her team leader, leaving Ruby.
(Beacon)
Pyrrha rushed through the destroyed buildings as she looked for him. It didn't matter if she used her abilities to find him because that wasn't on her mind at all. What mattered most right now was finding Jaune, the person whom she loved dearly. The person whom she had kissed before she had sent him away.
"Have you see Jaune?" She asked Velvet, a rabbit faunus who was a member of CFVY, who promptly nodded.
"There were several Grimms Alphas towards the edge of the forest, and Jaune rushed there." Velvet said as her heart dropped at that revelation, "We tried to stop him, but he wouldn't listen."
Pyrrha nodded at that and rushed towards the forest in hopes of saving Jaune. She should have changed how she left him. Perhaps she could have allowed him to help her during her fight with Cinder. It would have been a good way to get him to learn how to fight against a real threat. But her care towards him removed all reason she had and she inadvertently ended up hurting him.
"C'mon Jaune, where are you?" She whispered to herself, trying to drown out the noises of the Grimm and the Hunters who weren't Jaune. It was then when she heard him, well, his screams and steel clashing on bones. Rushing towards the source of the sound, she was horrified to see Jaune facing not one, not two, but three Ursa Alphas, easily towering over him by a huge margin.
It reminded her a lot of the time when he defeated an Ursa, saving Cardin from harm. But this wasn't the time, she knew that Jaune wasn't thinking straight at this point, mainly due to her action. She saw all three of them lunge at him at the same time.
While Jaune had gotten better, he wasn't on such a skill level where he could take on three Alphas at the same time. Heck, not many Hunters even could take them on and hope to live. Time seemed to stop as she had to decide on what she could do.
She could either keep up the pretence that she was a normal human and let Jaune get potentially hurt.
Or she could save him, using some scope of her true powers and reveal her identity to him only. She did erase some memories from Cinder and implanted new ones in its place.
She noticed the tears on Jaune's face, certainly due to her actions, something she wished to correct.
Taking a deep breath, she made her decision and time began to move at a normal pace once again.
(Jaune's Fight)
The young boy could do nothing but get into the stance Pyrrha had taught him months ago as the Ursa Alphas charged at him. Fury in his eyes as his main goal of reaching Pyrrha remained unchanged ever since she had sent him away. It was unbearable, knowing that he could potentially lose Pyrrha. She had kissed him and sent him away, and that left a lot of different emotions within him.
Sure he was no longer pining after Weiss, but he wasn't actively looking for a girlfriend either. That kissed had messed him up seeing that it could be the last kiss she'd ever give him.
The three Grimms got ever so closer as he gripped the Crocea Mors harder and was about to attack when all three of them were pierced by something. He turned his head to see what had just happened. The Grimm were now dead, being suspended in mid air by something red. It looked a lot like hair, well, to be accurate, red hair in a similar shade to that Pyrrha has.
"Are you okay?" He heard a familiar voice ask, but that was impossible, since it belonged to Pyrrha. He turned his head to see that it was her, however she was extremely different.
Instead of her normal physique, she had extremely large wings sprouting from her back, her hair was sprouting around like tentacles on an octopus. They were the same hair that were piercing the Grimms. She also had two extra pairs of arms and a plethora of eyes. Reality around her seemed to shift as the sky turned red, the shattered moon among the sea of red.
All in all, her appearance made Jaune hurt mentally, but he wouldn't look away since he needed to confirm it was her. "Pyrrha?" He asked meekly, holding out hope. Pyrrha nods and she gets into a hug by Jaune. "I thought I'd never see you again." He confessed through the tears that were leaking as he was enveloped as well by Pyrrha in a hug.
"Oh Jaune, are you okay?" She asked as the two ended their hug and Pyrrha returned to her human form. She noticed several cuts on his face, some more prominent than the other, such as the gash he had that ran across his left cheek. She frowned at that. There was no need for such a beautiful face to be sullied by something so unsightly. Tracing her palm over it, she smiled softly as the gash disappeared and the skin returned to its previous condition, as if it was never there to begin with, no scars or any blemishes. The two smiled at each other, Jaune smiling as the tears flowed freely, while Pyrrha smiling as the two were together once again and for Jaune for not rejecting her when she showed her true form.
The two faces got closer slowly as they finally kissed again, this time no imminent death threats or any dilemma. As the kiss ended, both of them had blushes on their face. It was only after a short while of staring into each others eyes that Jaune did faint.
(Beacon Infirmary)
Two days had passed and he fall of Beacon had been avoided. The Grimms that were attacking it had ran away for some reason. And the White Fang members who were present all fell unconscious suddenly. Because of that, all of them were arrested and Adam Taurus, who had previously severely disarmed Yang, had Aura Dampers placed on him as well, making it so that he couldn't use his Aura or his Semblance at all.
Jaune was in the Infirmary, nursing the wounds he had received while being seriously bandaged up. While he didn't have any external injuries, he did receive internal injuries. The nurse had told his team that he had several hairline fractures and some injured organs. While it wasn't said, Pyrrha knew that a majority of them was due to her launching Jaune away from the danger zone. She had to make it up to him some how.
She looked at Jaune, who was sleeping on the bed, whole left arm wrapped in cast as his right leg was elevated as well, along with half of his face being covered in bandages as well. His chest was covered in bandages as he had to be operated on earlier that day. During the time he was getting treated, the nurses had noticed that his ribs weren't properly aligned. One of them had an X-Ray Semblance and that was the reason why they learned that Jaune's ribs were broken as well and one of them were piercing into his lungs.
With an operation, that was fixed and Jaune was relegated to several weeks of bed rest with some physiotherapy along the way to help maintain his motor skills.
Cinder, or as she was now called, Asche, was being treated as well and was likely to be adopted along the way. She was looked after by Taiyang Xiao Long, which honestly came as a surprise to her as now the man had to look after three daughters.
She winced as she remembered Yang. The girl had lost her limb and was in a depressive rut. She would have been even more if Pyrrha hadn't stopped Blake from running away. Ruby had tried to reason with her a little, which Blake refused to listen to, but the moment she learned how Yang was being, she decided to stay. Weiss was also present. Her father did try and strong arm her into coming back to Atlas, which she refused to do. It also helped that his crimes was also made public, such as having a hand in the attack on Beacon, prompting Ironwood to arrest him on the spot. As a result, Willow Schnee divorced him on the spot and took over the company, although she did come to Beacon to comfort her daughter, bringing Whitley over with her.
What was even more surprising was that Jaune's father, Dore arrived as well, along with his seven sisters. She would have presumed his mother would come, but it was then when she learned that she had died in a Grimm attack a decade ago, when Jaune was still a child. This was what led to him not being trained in fear of him having the same fate as his late mother. After checking up on Jaune, he went to the Cafeteria to get some lunch, where he met Willow and the two hit it off instantly, much to the shock of Winter and Weiss. It was a bit funny to see the blonde daughters of Dore swamp Winter and Weiss in an effort to get to know them better. It was an odd sight, white in a sea of yellow. She reckoned they'd be associated with each other sooner or later.
Weiss was also seen hanging around Sun a lot after the Faunus confessed to feeling betrayed at Blake's attempt at leaving.
"It has been a wild ride." She heard Ren say to her as she was looking at Jaune who was sleeping. "From coming here at Beacon despite the chequered pasts, to defending it despite the risks." He said, looking at their leader. Nora was in a bed of her own, having used her Semblance to kill many Grimms via electrocution.
"That we have." She agreed with him. She never imagined once in her life that she'd be pining after a mortal and would even use her actual powers on her enemies.
"Though the question does remain, when will you truly confess to him?" He asked as he gave her a side eye. "Not about your affection, but about that."
She sighed. Ren had figured her all out in the first week. He always was attentive to the details, and when he noticed that she wasn't exactly breathing, the two had a talk. She did tell him about her true nature, which he took really well. "I will," She said, "I'm just waiting for the perfect time."
Ren raised an eyebrow at that, "Listen, Nora's gonna be leaving the hospital tomorrow morning, we'll be staying at the hotel the Arcs are at." He smiled as he continued, "I believe after that, you should tell him what you are. He'll accept you."
"I know he will, it's just that, even after staring at my partial true form, he kept his gaze on me, and I don't want to hurt him." Ren raised his eye at that.
"What do you mean by that?"
"My true form, even the partial ones, have caused insanity in even the strong minded of individuals across history." She started, "It is a fate I don't want to befall Jaune, not after the fact the he didn't use my status as Pyrrha as a means to get better. He genuinely was my first friend here and I don't want that to change" She sighed as she sat down on Jaune's bed, grabbing his hand. "I am contemplating changing his psyche slightly to allow him to grasp my true form, but I am afraid he might reject me if I ever tell him I did that." Looking at Ren, she continued, "If you want, I can change yours as well, along with others, so that you all can see me truly."
Ren smiled, "While I would be happy for that, I think the honour should go to Jaune first."
Pyrrha smiled.
(One Month Later)
Jaune smiled as he looked at the changing colours of the leaves. Beacon was back in action, the damages done during the attack almost repaired and a new session had started. He was kinda limited in his movements due to being limited in a wheelchair, but the doctors had said that he'd be able to start his physiotherapy soon.
As Ozpin was killed in action, Glynda had taken charge and was the new Headmistress of Beacon, and Qrow Branwen, Ruby's and Yang's uncle, was there to help her. While that wasn't weird, his father had begun spending a lot of time with Willow Schnee, and he reckoned that he'd have a new mother in a few months, which was considerably weird as there were several women back home that tried to win his father's heart due to their family business of making wines, they were mostly in it for the money and social status.
Seeing the two of them laugh together was heart-warming as after the death of his mother, his father never really had time to relax at all. Most of it went to either raising him and his sisters and managing the business.
From what he heard from Weiss, her mother was a raging alcoholic, but recently, she didn't have a drop of it. Perhaps it was due to his father being there for her. Needless to say, they both agreed that the two parents were benefiting from being in each others presence.
"I hope I am not disturbing anything." He heard Pyrrha ask. Jaune chuckled as he shook his head.
"Not really, I was just wondering how Saphron would react to dad remarrying." He told her. Saphron was the only one of the Arc family who was actually married, to Terra, and would often get their dad to go out and mingle. It often resulted in their father refusing it, saying that he needed to make sure that the younger members of the Arc children were well taken care of first.
Pyrrha nodded as she sat down on the bench besides Jaune. She was his caretaker for the duration of the period he was limited in mobility and as a result, the two had gotten closer, closer than she had expected.
While Ren had given her the choice of telling Jaune about her true self, she had postponed it, believing that telling him at the right time would have been more beneficial, like waiting for him to be fully healed.
Looking at Jaune as he was looking at the trees, she was reminded of why she liked him. His honest nature was what drew her towards him. He always tried to do the right thing, even at the cost of himself. Like when he saved team CRDL from that Ursa, he didn't have to save his bullies, but he did so regardless.
The two of them stared at the ever changing leaves, not a care in the world. It was a good thing that Beacon was off as Glynda decided it was for the best that students had a bit of off time from all the events that happened during the Vytal Tournament. Penny was repaired as well, along with given several upgrades so she could be safe against those Hunters who had a magnetism related Semblance.
"Hey Pyrrha, I wanna ask you something." Jaune looked at her when he said this. "What happened that night? I know I had several head injuries, but I know what I saw."
Pyrrha sighed as she put on a smiling face, knowing that this was the perfect time to not only explain to him what she was, but to profess her undying love to him. "What you saw was the truth. In all honesty, Pyrrha Nikos is a name I gave myself, although I have grown to love it very much, thanks to you."
Jaune was confused at that. "Huh, you named yourself?" He asked.
Pyrrha nodded, "Yes, when I descended from the stars to observe you mortals to learn more about you all. I had to disguise myself, and what better way than to take the form of a mortal as well?" She chuckled at that. Jaune smiled, her laugh sounding like a beautiful song in his ears. "I initially hid my true powers, using a part of it under the claims that it was my Semblance that did so." She confessed. "Due to the supposed prowess of my skills, I was made known amongst the dueling circuit and thankfully, it led me to you."
Jaune smiled at that as he gave her a side hug. "So, you're basically a Goddess from beyond the stars?" Pyrrha nodded as the two chuckled, "Makes sense looking at you."
With that Pyrrha blushed a deep red as her face began to change, several eyes began to pop up. Jaune chuckled as he brought her in closer for a kiss. Pyrrha, while initially surprised, replied back with an even more intensive kiss of her own.
Smiling, Jaune found himself to be floating. "What the?" He asked as he broke the kiss. He then noticed the fact that Pyrrha's wings, albeit long, were flapping, allowing flight for the two.
Pyrrha smiled as she caressed his face, "Don't worry, my love." She said as she brought his face in closer for a continued make out session.
(One Month Later)
It had been quite some time since Jaune had healed and was able to walk on his own. He still required assistance from Pyrrha at times, especially in the morning where his legs would get jammed. It wasn't anything serious since Pyrrha's massage would be a quick fix. She was also able to fix much of his injuries due to her inherent healing abilities. She had told him the truth of what happened on the tower, and while he was glad that she wasn't harmed, not that she couldn't, he did make her promise that they'd always be together during any fight that would happen.
This was the reason why he learned about Tyrian Callows and Salem. Whether it was stupidity or under Salem's command, he arrived in Vale to bring Pyrrha in for questioning.
It was hardly a fight.
Tyrian had been stomped so badly that he wanted to go back into the embrace of the castle he came from, but Pyrrha didn't give him the chance, separating his limbs from his body, making him a quad-paraplegic, before he was captured by Qrow and brought in for questioning. With his mind broken due to the mental damage he received while fighting Pyrrha, he blabbered all secrets to the group. What happened to him after that, she did not know nor care about. Her main target now was Salem herself.
Perhaps she could take away her immortality, let her live out her life with regret. Pehraps she could separate Ozma from his latest host if the bond is early on, let the two live together.
Beacon had opened its gate again for students, and the first day was an off day, to give respect to the fallen headmaster, along with those students who weren't as lucky. Team JNPR had reunited and were in silence, while team RWBY was missing the Y, as Yang still had to come to terms with her injury. Ironwood had gifted her a prosthetic arm but for her, it wasn't the same feeling. It was because of this that they decided to visit her during the weekends, in hopes of getting her hopes up and rejoin the group.
Glynda had said that if Yang wasn't able to return, she'd be removed from the group and someone else would join in her place, something that Ruby, Blake and Weiss did not want at all.
Speaking of Weiss, she was doing far better with Dore than she was with Jacques, her relation with her mother and her brother sky rocketing as well. It seemed that Dore was the father that Winter, Weiss and Whitely needed. Jaune and Weiss' relation also got better, in a sibling sort of way.
Perhaps thing were getting better, but it will certainly take time.
So, this is done. If I get enough inspiration, I'll write a continuation of this as well. So read and review what you guys think and what do you guys want if I decide to continue it.
