The Umbran House

(Start Dreamscape Lucina)
In her dreams Lucina found herself in a familiar dance studio back home in Gravesfield on Earth. It was the last place she spent time with her father before he passed. Lucina wasn't one to advertise this but back in the day when she was younger, she used to do ballet she was gifted in it, and it made her parents smile to see her on stage like that. At the moment there was a small recital as Lucina was dancing about with a certain grace she had not been known for in a long while.
The Punk turned Umbra Witch wished she could go back to those simpler days when the world still made sense to her. Her father was the kindest most honest man in the world so why did he have to go the way he did. The more she thought about it the more the world began to crack around her. The cracks started out small and insignificant, but they grew larger as her father vanished from her vision. Soon Lucina made a misstep and thus she fell to the floor. The moment her body made impact with the ground the world shattered around Lucina and she in turn began to fall to the abyss of darkness.
Lucina was unable to scream... no it was more like she didn't have the energy to scream nor the desire. Falling deep into the darkness Lucina kept falling as she allowed her eyes to frow heavy in content. Soon her dream came to an end with a slap to the face by a familiar hand.
(Waking World)
"WAKE UP!" Luz called out as she slapped her sister awake. Lucina yelped in shock as she rolled around in her sleeping bag until she calmed down.
Lucina then just laid there glaring at the ceiling for a minute with a bored/tired look on her face. "Did you have to do that?" Lucina asked with a flat deadpanned tone in her voice.
"Yeap." Luz responded popping the P when she said that.
Lucina laid there for a moment longer before glaring at her sister. Lucina then got up and looked outside the window and sighed. "And here I was hoping it was all a dream." Lucina said as she then looked to her shadow which still had the form of Madama Obscura instead of her own form.
"Why would you want it to be a dream this is awesome!" Luz called out but Lucina was not in the mood.
"Sure, it is." Lucina said as she ignored her sister and went to the bathroom.
Once inside Lucina took out her toothbrush and began to brush her teeth. Her reflection showed a tired teenager who would rather crawl back into bed right now. After a bit of mouthwash and the like Lucina rinsed out her mouth before turning her head towards... Hooty.
"Good morning, Lucina." Hooty said and thus Lucina yelled in shock and proceeded to punch Hooty in the face.
"Why is this hereditary? Geez. Hoot." Hooty said as he left the bathroom again as Lucina rubbed her eyes in frustration.
"I'm starting to hate that thing." Lucina said as she then went about her day by getting dressed. "It's too early for this." Lucina said as she needed some coffee like yesterday.
(Later in the Kitchen)
Lucina came down the stairs still half asleep as she made her way to the Kitchen. She passed by Luz who was now dressed like a witch and ignored her for a moment. But then Lucina back tracked and looked to her baby sister. "Luz why are you dressed as a stereotypical witch and what will it take to get you to put those back where you found it?" Lucina asked as she looked to her sister.
"This is my, borrowed, Witch Apprentice outfit." Luz said as Lucina then sighed in frustration.
"Ok... just don't drag me into this shit, I haven't had coffee yet and I have a splitting headache." Lucina said as she made her way back to the Kitchen. "It's too early for this shit." Lucina mumbled as she needed her coffee. Once she was in the kitchen Lucina began to look for anything resembling coffee grounds so she can get her morning joe. She needed her coffee but so far, she could find anything resembling coffee in this magic house.
After looking through all the shelves Lucina moaned in frustration and took a seat on the table before slamming her head down with a moan of defeat. "Headache, no coffee, and my last few bongs are still hidden at home." Lucina said as she was sluggish from her lack of caffeine. "Why did I let Luz talk me into coming here?" Lucina asked as she needed some Coffee as soon as yesterday or she was going to crash.
After a moment or two, there was a sound of flushing from upstairs, no doubt Eda is up and used the bathroom, before she came to the stair to come down where Luz was waiting for her as she couldn't hold her excitement.
Soon coming into view wearing a bathroom and bunny slippers, Eda look like she was having a much of a rough start like Lucina does as she just yawns for a moment before she sees Luz at the bottom of the stairs wearing a ridiculous witches' outfits as Luz said to her, "Good morning, Eda the Owl lady. I am ready for my first day of, Witch Apprenticeship."
"Uh. Who are you again?" Eda went as she shake the cobwebs with the spiders still attach to them and pick at her ears getting the last spider when she said that, with luz look in confusion at Eda as she went "Huh?"
Luz sticker came off the robe, before Eda just walk downstairs and pass Luz without even caring much at the moment as Luz said, "Remember me? Luz? *Bonk! ahh!"
she got hit in the head by a floating mug of sort as Lucina saw this and laugh before groining from her headache as Eda walk by the kitchen table and to the fridge to get something out of it as Luz went on saying, "We freed the oppressed and defeated the evil warden together?"
"More like I beat him, and you were just more or less watching," Lucina said as Eda turn around and said, "Kid, lay off the details. I haven't even had my cup of apple blood yet."
"you mean apple juice?" Luz ask as she hope she heard was a misworded as Eda said, "No."
"Hey Eda, does this world have coffee in it anywhere?" Lucina said as Eda walk off with her cup of apple blood while she said to the older sister, "I have no idea what coffee is."
"Mierda," Lucina said as she just curse out loud as Luz said, "Doller in the Swear jar!"
"Don't care," Lucina said as she rub her head to nurse her headache as Eda said the same thing as she said to them, "Keep it down you two."
At that moment as Eda sat down to drink, Luz soon began to ask, "Teach me some spells. When do I get a magic staff? And when can I do what my sister can do? Was I supposed to bring my own runes? can I move really-really fast?
Luz gasp suddenly as she turn around to grab Eda's arm as she said in an exciting tone," Do you have a dangerous magical quest for me?"
"Whoa-whoa. Slow down kid. Being a witch doesn't happen overnight. What happen with your sister is completely different from me, Also you're wrapped in a bathrobe and wearing the dirtiest traffic cone I've ever seen."
Luz suddenly took off her witches' hat and blew on it, removing all the black dust on it showing it was a traffic cone with a bent tip as both King and Lucina laugh at that. The elder Noceda sister stood up and patted her on the back a bit as she said, "Now this is getting my day started."
She soon walked over to somewhere as Eda drink some of her juice before with the blood liquid stain her upper lip, like milk would do to a person who drank it, she said, "But a magic staff, huh? You really want one?"
"More than anything." Luz said and thus Lucina saw where this was going.
"Well since Luz is the one studying to be a witch, I'm going to living room." Lucina said taking her leave to the living room to read some magazines. "Anything to deal with this splitting headache." Lucina said taking her leave of the room.
"Fine I'll be a witch like you yet big sis." Luz called to which Lucina simply waved her younger sister off.
Lucina left the room without so much as a care in the world. "Magic Staff come to me." Eda was heard in the room after Lucina left.
Lucina raised a brow to this and shrugged when she suddenly heard crashing sounds coming her way. Lucina thought nothing of it and the fact her shadow looked different when she saw the sight of Eda's staff coming her way. The elder Noceda Sister went wide eyed when she saw this and cried out when the staff ended up crashing into her knocking her down after slamming into her face. The newly minted Umbran Witch laid there for a second with a red mark on her face in the shaft of the staff. Getting bac up Lucina returned to the room just as Eda picked her staff up and all eyes went to her.
Lug giggled to this when she saw the mark Eda's staff left on her big sister. Lucina then pointed her right index and pink fingers at her eyes and then directed them towards the pair before leaving the room for Luz to have her lesson on magic.
(Later in the living room)
Lucina sighed as she had a magazine in her hands before laying on the sofa with feet propped on the coffee table. Opening the magazine in question she began reading inside it looking every bit the teenager that she was. After everything Lucina could use a bit of normal today suspecting that normal was a rare commodity in the Boiling Isles. At least she wasn't in brainwash camp like their mom tried to send the pair. Then again, she wasn't going for another stint in juvie hall so that was a bonus. Lucina turned the page of the magazine when she suddenly heard a voice whispering about.
"Lucina..." The voice whispered causing Lucina to look around. "Lucina..." The voice whispered again causing Lucina to lower the Magazine seeing she was alone in the room.
"Ok... either Luz is pranking me again or Hooty isn't the only sentient thing here." Lucina said before going back to her magazine.
"Do you plan to spend all day reading that parchment my contractor." The voice spoke and thus Lucina lowered the magazine in shock. "For a girl who has read about the Umbran Witches you most certainly fall short when it comes to some basic knowledge like the nature of our contract." The voice spoke and thus Lucina looked down to her shadow that was in the form of Madama Obscura.
"El Diablo." Lucina gasped as Obscura chuckled from deep within Lucina's mind.
"No but close enough." Obscura said with a sadistic/teasing chuckle.
"What do you want bird brain." Lucina said as she reached to her phone ready to use it and pretend that she was talking to someone.
"For you to fill your end of the contract of course." Obscura said which Lucina raised a brow to this. "And that involves killing those feathered fuckers from Paradiso." Obscura said as Lucina was wide eyed to this.
"Yeah, that's nice but... I already got my end of the deal I got the power to save my sister and now she's saved so we're done." Lucina said and thus Obscura chuckled to this.
"Oh, are we, I may have granted you power little witch but now you owe Inferno for that power." Obscura said as Lucina then felt rumblings going on around her. "But... if you don't want to do what your required to do I suppose I can just take your soul now as compensation." Obscura said as Lucina saw an Infernal Portal starting to form.
"Hey, wait a minute let's not get ahead of ourselves Obscura I'm sure we can come to an agreement." Lucina said as she looked to the portal with fear.
"There is only one agreement to make, kill angels on a semi consistent bases and we won't take your soul until you die in battle." Obscura said and thus Lucina knew she had no choice here. Either the elder Noceda sister complies with the Infernal or she gets a one-way ticket to Hell.
"Well, where the fuck am I supposed to find an Angel?" Lucina asked and thus Obscura chuckled to this one.
"You're the Umbran Witch here so you figure it out." Obscura said and thus Lucina sighed in defeat and close her magazine.
"I hate my life." Lucina said as she got up to see if Eda knew where the closest church was figuring that to be a good place to start her search for Angels to kill.
Just then she saw Luc walk into the room with a sack in her hands. "Hey Luz, what's with the sack you, nicking Eda of her shit?" Lucina asked and thus Eda stepped in. "Because if you, are I want it." Lucina said as the Juvenile delinquent was ready to break some rules on the isles.
"Nope you two are going to Bonesborough to deliver these potions and elixirs." Eda said as Lucina went wide eyed to this.
"Wait us two?" Lucina asked with a raised brow to this.
"Hey if your gonna live in my house your gonna earn your keep." Eda said looking at Lucina who was about to argue. "Unless you WANT to pay rent." Eda said which stopped Lucina's argument in its tracks.
"This is just great I got a headache the size of Texas, my soul is on the line, and no bongs for me to use... this day just keeps getting better." Lucina grumbled showing that she was not happy about any of this.
(Later outside)
"Remember never trust a man in sandals, always cut once not twice, and never borrow money from Rodin if you see him." Eda said pushing the sister out the door as Luz had an almost excited like while Lucina had an annoyed, 'I'm so done,' look on her face. "Good luck!" Eda called out and thus closed the door on the two.
As the pair could hear talking inside Lucina decided to speak to her sister directly. "Well, this will be fun." The elder sister spoke in a sarcastic tone. "But I was hoping she'd come with us, so you don't get us killed." Lucina said as she looked to her sister.
Just then the door opened again and from it, King walked out with an annoyed look that equaled the annoyed that Lucina currently had right now. "Be back by nightfall or risk mortal peril." Eda said before closing the door leaving the trio with Hooty.
"Have a nice trip." Hooty said and thus King sighed to this.
"Let's get this over with." Hooty said and in turn the group began to make their way to Bonesborough.
(Scene Break Bonesborough)
The group arrived at the town as Lucina held the list while Luz held the potions bag as they enter the town through the main street, Luz went "Whoa." The entire street had varying creatures going about their businesses for the day.
As the group was looking around to sees a giant worm creature with a human like face, a blob with a brain that can be seen in it while it pushed a hotdog cart with the word "Not dog" on it with an image of a spider like creature in a bun that Lucina saw and said, "Well I lost my appetite for the entire day. Let's do this before something tries to eat us."
The group walk through the streets with Luz taken in the sites around, Lucina trying to mind her own business, with Luz couldn't help but looking at every creature they pass by, even a mutated fly creature with two head that went by as she lightly gap to the site of it before King said, "Hey its rude to stare."
"I've only seen places like this in my dreams. It's incredible," Luz said to king as Lucina spoken in a sarcastic tone as she said, "Really, that's so weird, I think I had the same dream, but in mine as it turns out, everyone wanted to eat me, and a demonic owl lady wanting to claim my soul."
"And we're the only humans here?" Luz question while ignoring her sister of what she just said, as it seem the entire world, they're in is devoid of humans while king said to them, "Haven't seen any others."
"Wow. There must be a reason for that right? Why are we here?" Luz began before she then gasped suddenly. "What if I, Luz Noceda, Average teen, actually had (*gasps) a predetermined path of greatness?" Luz said as she took a gasping breath as she went on saying, "Just like Azura."
Suddenly she got smack upside her head as Lucina said to then her little sister, "This ain't like Azura, Luz. That was a book on a made-up tale to get dunce like you to get suck up into its stories to make everyone believe that there is good, Light, and righteous within the world, when in fact there's not."
"That what you may believe, but I believe I can be great as Azura, while going on the path of greatness," Luz said as King dug into the bag of potions and pull out a potion meant for pimples it seem as he said, "Yeah. Did Azura's path to greatness involve her delivering Boil cream?"
"Today we're delivering packages, but Tomorrow I'll be earning the respect of everyone on the boiling isles with my magical prowess with my sister," Luz said to say as Lucina said to her, "Hey don't get me more involve your fantasy idea."
"Ha! Good luck, The Boiling isles is nothing but a cesspool of despair," king said as Luz took the boil begone potion from king and put it back in the bag as she swing it on her back as she said, "More like a cesspool of delight."
"I think it's more of cesspool of a toilet," Lucina said as she look around and just sees what the place it like, and if the smell hitting her nose is anything to go by, not everyone has good plumbing, with Luz just looking around looking for potential customer as she spotted someone and went, "ha-ha!" and went off to talk to some centaur looking creature.
Lucina had her hands in her pockets when she saw this as she and King just stood there for a moment before Lucina spoke first. "She's going to be in a world of hurt, isn't she?" Lucina asked leaning towards King.
"Oh, big time." King said as the pair watched the chaos that was about to hit. Lucina and King then walked over to bail Luz out if and when this goes horribly wrong on her.
"What has four hooves and wants to buy a potion? This guy." Luz said to the centaur while holding up a potion with the words "Wake up" on it while the centaur guy sighed as he put down a pumpkin like object reviling the guy's face was on his chest as he said, "My eyes are down here." Luz cried out in shock as Lucina held back her laughter taking out her smart phone before recording Luz.
"This will go down in history as the worst day Luz has ever had and I'll be getting photographic proof." Lucina said with a grin on her face as she would use this video for days to come and never let her younger sister hear the end of it.
"Hey, I bet you the next house will be no problem." Luz said and thus Lucina smirked to this not seeing it happen.
(Later at the next house)
The dup with king rang a doorbell to a house, which the doorbell itself began to eat, Luz's arm opting her to cry out. Lucina was laughing at the site but also ready to jump in to get Luz out of it in a heartbeat. King for his part walked away as Lucina just recorded it. "Sorry Luz what was that you said earlier?" Lucina asked as she recorded the scene.
"Shut up and help me!" Luz yelled and thus Lucina paused the recording and went on to help her sister.
(Later)
Lucina and Luz were sitting on the sidewalk with Lux exhausted after trying to sell potions to different people and monsters. Meanwhile King was eating a "Not dog" thing to which he ate it all up before he said, "I know I've had enough delight for one day."
"I thought being the only humans in a magical world would be very special, but apparently, it just made everyone want to scream at us or eat us," Luz said as she lifted up her arm to reveal the creature from earlier.
Lucina then reached out to the creature to help out. "Let me get that for you baby sister." Lucina said as she then tore the creature off and threw it to the distance. She then looked to her younger sister with concern knowing she was upset now.
Luz sighs a bit before pulling out her book and said, "At this point, Azura had already sent on an enchanted quest." She Shows the page showing Azura being appointed by a wizard to go on a quest as Luz question, "Where's my quest-granting wizard?"
"Sorry to break it to you, Luz, but no one here is that well-dressed," King said as its mostly true as everyone is either natural naked due to their nature of what they are or they were in dirty rags hoodies or clothing as Luz put away her book and grabbed the sack of potions before she said, "This has been a rough day."
"Yeah well..." Lucina trailed off and in turn looked to a nearby bar. "Well, hello." Lucina said as she saw a bar labeled as, The Gates of Hell. Lucina then took the list out and saw the place was on the list with an angry Eda face on it. "I'm guessing that's Rodin's place." Lucina said as she looked to the bar.
"Um didn't Eda say not to talk to him?" Luz asked knowing Rodin was a loan shark to Eda.
"Yeah, well apparently he orders shit from her, so we got to deliver." Lucina said and then took the thing Rodin had ordered. "Here I'll do the delivery and you get the last guy on the list deal?" Lucina asked and thus Luz sighed to this.
"Deal." Luz said and in turn the sisters split up with Luz taking King with her.
(Inside the Gate of Hell)
Lucina found herself inside a bar with soft jazz music playing from a record player nearby. Fly me to the Moon if Lucina had to make a guess, not her sort of thing but not bad. "Was starting to wonder if you'd show up." Rodin said suddenly as Lucina saw the man standing behind the bar.
"Rodin, right?" Lucina asked as she held the potion in her hand. "Didn't peg you for the type to order lube." Lucina quipped holding the battle before tossing it over to him.
"Hilarious." Rodin said as Lucina took a seat on the bar stool. "By the looks of you, your friends down under have started to get a bit needy." Rodin said as he pushed a cup of steaming hot coffee towards Lucina who went wide eyed.
Lucina went wide eyed and proceeded to drink the joe finally starting her day proper. "You can say that." Lucina said as Obscura was edging towards Lucina to kill an Angel TODAY.
"So, if you don't mind me asking what Eda has so ticked with you?" Lucina asked as she nursed the coffee.
"She borrowed from the devil, and the devil always collects." Rodin said as he held a few bottles of liquor before putting them down.
"Cryptic." Lucina joked as she looked to the man before her.
"Like the girl whose been studying the Umbran Arts." Rodin said as he looked to Lucina who looked away.
"I only studied them because... never mind." Lucina said as it was her whole life, she's been able to see things people call her crazy for seeing.
"Suppose it don't matter now, Inferno finally got them a new witch now Paradiso will be after you soon enough." Rodin said as Lucina figured as much. "And Inferno want's its due but I doubt a bat will do you much good either." Rodin said as he then pulled a lever which caused the bar shelves behind him to open up and reveal... a stash of weapons.
Lucina whistled as she saw the weapons stashed away. "A friend of mine left these behind." Rodin said as he walked to the weapon stash in the back and began to find something. He eventually came back with a box in his hand covered in a cloth. "I'd like to think she'd might like seeing them in use again." Rodin said before removing the cloth to reveal inside were a set of Guns four Guns in fact.
"Wow." Lucina said as she looked to the guns in question and picked one of them up. She even aimed it to get a good feel for it.
"They're called the Elven Nights; they should be useful to help you get the feel for your new stats." He said revealing they were like starter gear for Lucina who understood. "This one's on the house so long as you bring me back these things." Rodin said as he held up a golden ring. "Halos go for a pretty penny down south." Rodin added as Lucina looked to the guns.
"Nice." Lucina said and then put the gun down for a second and finished off her coffee. "Elven Nights." Lucina said as she looked to the guns and saw the book hidden under them. "And the book?" She asked and in turn Rodin smirked to her.
"Homework." Rodin responded meaning Lucina had to start learning.
"Dammit." Lucina cursed realizing she had homework... again.
(Scene Break the Owl House)
After a bit Lucina read over the book, trying to understand what it's about, and so far, it's about Umbran spells and incantation of how an Umbran witch can capture creatures and summon them as familiars, slow down time, transform into animals, and the likes, even entering a world between Chaos and Paradiso called Limbo, which Lucina thought it wasn't that bad… until she read the fine print.
With all of her power comes from the demon she made a contract with, it was up to the demon to keep granting them with the energy to keep doing so or she would be using her own life energy to fight with, which would suck as she need energy to find and fight angels… wherever they are at.
For Lucina, it's kind of funny for her, as ever sense she came to the boiling islands, she never saw those strange creatures in the sky that she had seen on earth, as if she try to point them out to people, they just ignore her, or they don't see them.
Her own mother thought she was playing around or something, or maybe slowly going crazy after the death of her father, which she couldn't blame her for that, but with those thoughts in mind as she somewhat thought, were those the angels or what?
Then she realize the time as she looked at her own shadow telling the time somehow, as she quick close the book and head on back to the Owl house, hopping Eda doesn't question her on where she's been and such.
When she arrived as she hear laughter as she went to investigate as she saw that Eda and King was in her and Luz's room laughing about something as she pop in while acting, she was in the house for a time as she said, "Hey guys, just got out of the bathroom, what joke am I missing out on?"
"Oh n-n-nothing… just a wizard told Luz she was a Chosen one!" King said as he and Eda started to laugh again as Luz seem disappointed by this as Lucina was confused on this as she said, "Okay I think I'm lose here. Can someone start over and tell me the inside joke?"
Eda calm herself a bit, long enough to tell Lucina about wizards are the worst people to know that would wear casual drapery, and what Lucina gotten, the wizard guy told Luz she was a chosen one or something with the king said, "Yeah, and he even given her a map."
"Really, some wizard guy told you, you were some sort of destine hero of sort and gave you a map to some place?" Lucina said as she was getting suspicious of this as Eda soon said, "Let me see the map."
After that Luz hand over the map to Eda as she looked it over and knew right away it was a fake as she said to Luz, "You didn't think this was real, did you?"
"What?" Luz question as Eda smack the map and said, "This map is Bunk. There's no lake with a celestial staff on the Boiling isles. I would have stolen it ages ago."
"Is there anything you don't steal if it was in front of you?" Lucina asked with Eda answer her quickly on that, "Yeah, Rodin's booze. He'll hunt you down to the end of the isles."
"Seem like he'll hunt you down just for not paying the tap," Lucina said to herself with Eda look at Luz and saw the sad look on her face as she handed the map back to her and said, "Ah, don't worry. Couple more months here and you won't look like such a mark."
She try rubbing her head as she said to Eda while pushing her hand away, "Can I have some time alone?"
After that Eda look to the older sister as Lucina said to her, "Just give us a moment of alone time for now." After that Eda shrugged and left the room with king in tow as he follow the owl witch out of the room, which Lucina turn to Luz as she saw her sister sitting by the window with the map on the ground as Lucina pick it up and look over it herself and she could tell the map seem... too perfect.
It was a straight line too, she knew maps aren't supposed to be this well directed as she said to her sister," Listen Luz, don't let it get you down. Just because you love magic and want to learn it doesn't mean it gonna fall into your lap like that but give it some time, I'm sure Eda can teach you the best way of being a witch... without making a deal with a demon with your life."
Saying that last part to herself as she cannot believe she is stuck with this deal until she dies or the demon will kill her by not killing angels, as Luz said to her, "Easy for you to say. You started using magic the other day while I am just spelling Potions and snake oil."
"I know it's a bit unfair, but hey you're going to be learning the honest way while I just cheated getting magic, cheer up. After a day or so I'm sure things will be looking up for you, just you wait, now if you excuse me, I got some reading to catch up on," Lucina said as she got up, leaving the map on the ground near the window as a bit of light shine on the map, while Lucina left Luz alone for the time being, while at that moment Luz saw something on the map she didn't see before.
Picking it up as she saw some glowing words that appeared in the sunlight as she lift it up more In the sunlight, it revealed more words as it reads, "The chosen one. The path will only appear to the worthy.
(Meanwhile with Lucina)
Lucina was outside checking out the guns Rodin gave her as she gave them a look over. "Elven Nights." Lucina repeated as she took a pair in her hands. "Why four guns?" Lucina asked as she assumed two of them were spares. Digging deeper into the box she found a pair of boots inside them that reached up just short of her knees. Looking them over she saw they had a bit of an attachment to them and began to connect the dots. She took off her regular shoes and proceeded to switch them out with the boots finding that they fit live a glove. Once they were on Lucina tapped them against the ground to get a feel for them and found them to be just right.
Once that was done Lucina attached two of the guns and found they slid on the boots perfectly. Giving them a look over Lucina grinned to this big time. "Oy mi Gusta muy rudo." Lucina said in her native tongue with a huge grin on her face.
"Glad to see your learning the traditional method of combat for an Umbran Witch." Came Obscura causing Lucina to scowl a bit.
"Oh, great I almost forgot about you." Lucina said while her scowl never left her face.
"Oh, don't be like that especially since you offended me not even 10 minutes ago." Obscura said as Lucina glared at her shadow where Obscura's form was evident.
"Oh yeah, how?" Lucina accused the Demoness who growled a bit.
"You accused the Umbran way as cheating." Obscura said causing Lucina's eye to twitch in irritation.
"Wait that offends you?!" Lucina asked and thus Obscura clarified for Lucina.
"Yes, the path of the Umbran Witch is one filled with struggle, trials, and training as you are right now, you are a self-taught Witch with plenty of room to grow." Obscura said as Lucina glared at her shadow a bit.
"Oh yeah sure and I guess you know how to use these gun boots?" Lucina taunted and thus Obscura smirked to that question.
"Focus your magic to your feet mainly the guns, and kick." Obscura explained causing Lucina to go wide eyed to this.
"Wait what?" Lucina asked confused when she heard this.
"Just do it." Obscura said and thus Lucina sighed to this. She bounced a bit on her feet getting ready for a kick before she began to focus like Obscura said. Once she was ready Lucina proceeded to send out a kick but when she did the Latina girl got nothing for it. "Try again it takes a couple times." Obscura said and thus Lucina growled and got to it.
She sent a few more kicks out focusing her mind but after 6 attempts it was failure. Lucina growled but then opted to try one more time as she was a stubborn girl. It seemed seven was the lucky number as with that kick a bullet shot out of the gun tipped with a small portal which hit a tree taking out some of its wood.
"WOW!?" Lucina gasped when she saw that happen.
"Told you." Obscura said as Lucina then decided to try it further by sending more kicks out doing what she did before. Each kick sent bullets out hitting the target and taking out bits of the wood. After doing this for a bit Lucina grabbed the handguns and then proceeded to fire them at the tree amazed how they never seem to run out of bullets.
"Oh, I like this a lot." Lucina said and thus her eyes drifted over to the Owl House when she heard movement from it. She saw Luz grunting a bit as she slid down the roof with the toy sword on her back. Luz looked around in case any uninvited guests show up and once she saw she was in the clear began to walk off. Lucina sighed and in turn went to see what has her baby sister in such an uproar right now.
When Luz thought she was in the clear she turned around only to bump into Lucina causing her to cry out in shock. "What the heck do you think you're doing?" Lucina demanded glaring at her younger sister with a stern look.
"Um... nowhere." Luz said trying to lie to Lucina, but her tone and suspicious behavior ratted her out instantly.
"Sure, so that was not me seeing you sneak out with a toy sword and that scroll the robe guy gave you?" Lucina asked and thus Luz tried to think of an excuse.
'Play dumb.' Luz mentally warned herself and thus got to her plan. "Who are you?" Luz asked causing her mental self to face palm. 'NOT THAT DUMB!' Luz mentally yelled and she in turn acted. "Sneak attack!" Luz cried out throwing dirt in Lucina's eyes causing her to cry out in pain from it.
"My eyes!" Lucina cried out as she grabbed her eyes from the sting.
"Sorry Lucina I'll be back with my magic staff!" Luz cried out as she ran off to start her, quest.
"Dammit Luz when I get my hands on you, I'm gonna ring your neck!" Lucina growled as she had every intention to chase down Luz and make her pay for that. "But first I'm going to need some help chasing her down." Lucina said and she knew just the Witch to help her with that.
(Meanwhile inside with Eda and King)
King was on the couch trying to Nap with Eda was thinking about this wizard Luz and king meet and knew this guy wasn't one of her regulars, and she would know if a wizard guy was one of her normal customers.
Before she could think about it, there was a sudden bang at the door with Lucina is heard as she suddenly growl and said," Open up Hoody, Luz throw dirt in my eyes!"
With that the doors open up as Lucina rush through the house the best she can to reach the kitchen as Eda saw the state she was in and ask, "What happen with you?"
Lucina found the kitchen and the sink as she turn on the water to start splashing water in her eyes to clear out the dirt as she moan a bit and said to Eda, "Luz was sneaking out of the house and throw dirt in my eyes to make sure I didn't follow her, so now I don't know where she went and need your guys help."
"She what?" King said as Eda had a Bad feeling as she suddenly rush to Luz and Lucina's room as she open it suddenly and saw Luz was gone with the window wide open as Eda called out saying, "Hooty, where'd she go?"
"Hoot, hoot," Hooty said as he stretch his neck up to her and said, "IF you want the answer that you seek, Solve my riddle within a week."
*Smash!
Eda hit the house hard no doubt its apart of hooty as he said, "OW! Okay, okay. She went into the forest towards Bonesborough. Sheesh!"
Eda just groan to this as she turn back around to get Lucina and king to hopefully track down Luz before something bad happens to her.
(Luz)
Luz was at the city limits of Bonesborough as she had brought along the toy sword just in case as she said to herself, "My first mythical quest."
With that she jumped down to start her quest, as once she hits the ground, Luz found herself in the forest as a strange fog rolled in, covering Luz view of vision as she said, "Okay. Got my scroll, got my youthful optimism, Got my trusty weapon."
She pull the toy sword off her back as she hit the button on it as it suddenly said while sounding like it was powering down, "By the power of Skullgar! I am out of batteries."
"You know I wonder if I made the right choice by coming here?" Luz questioning herself she wonder if it was worth going on this quest in the first place, and she did feel bad of throwing dirt at her sister, but suddenly she gasp to the site before her as she arrived at some sort of Cat village as she went, "Whoa."
Luz was so amazed by the site with the entire village was so colorful and bright, as she walk towards the center of it near the water fountain that was there, and suddenly rising from said Fountain was a young man strong and powerful as he was handsome, as he seem to be a warrior of sort as he had an eye patch over his right eye as he pull his wet hair back and said, "I see. So, you're the chosen one."
He scoffs at this as he got out of the fountain as he went on saying, "The Celestial staff should've picked me, Nevareth Bladestrife, teen prince of Angstmore."
"Yes. Yes, I did make the right choice," Luz said not realizing the danger she was in, as flying above near her, a strange white feather creature was following her as it was watching her every move.
(Eda, Lucina, and king)
After Luz snuck out of the owl house Eda and Lucina with King to find that wizard. All, the while Lucina grumbled clearly unhappy with her sister right now. Though Lucina hoped that her baby sister had not run into trouble yet while they followed King who was sniffing down an alleyway as he said, "This is where we met the scones. I mean, the wizard."
"Good, I hope this guy is home because I'm going to strangle him with his own beard for messing with my sister." Lucina said as she got ready to pull out her bat. As the group pass through the same current doorway that Luz passed through, but it was looking more ragged, and when they looked to the castle. King was surprised as was everyone else as the castle from before was now in ruin and looked more abandon than anything as King said, "Whoa. It wasn't like this before."
"I knew it, a con artist." Lucina said as she growled a bit. "This is what happens when she wonders off without me, she gets herself into trouble and I have to bail her out." Lucina said knowing whatever problem her sister was in required big sister to come in and save the day... again.
"I don't like this," Eda said as the trio continued walking up to the castle itself, opening the door and saw what was inside, as a one great library with many books and scrolls was now gone and replace by many destroyed and ruined books, and a lot of torn up scrolls.
"Ok Cubone you sure this is where you found the Dumbledore wannabe?" Lucina asked as she looked around the place.
"Yes, it was, I swear it was," King said as the group spread out and investigate, with Eda came upon some scrolls looking very similar to the map that Luz had as she picked one up and saw some glowing words on it reading, "The Chosen one" as Eda said, "I really don't like this."
"Ok I'm going to jail for Murder of the 1st Degree today so when the cops and judge ask why I did it... tell them it was because they fucked with my sister." Lucina said as she began to imagine the murder scene that was going to happen.
"As far as I see it... I didn't see anything." Eda said as she'll even help Lucina hide the body.
(Meanwhile back with Luz)
As the pair teens travel together as Luz has been listening to Nevareth back story as Luz then said, "Nevareth, your vengeful backstory are so compelling, and I am loving your animal sidekick."
The animal sidekick in question looked like an onion with bat wing flying around the group with a gentle smile on its face as Nevareth soon said, "After my village was consumed, my heart has known nothing but vengeance."
"Nevareth," Luz said as she felt bad for the male warrior as the guy said, "Lady Luz, do you think love can bloom on the battlefield?"
"Woo-wo-wo. This quest is questing in all the right ways," Luz said as the best part was her elder sister wasn't here to make fun of her.
After that as the group went on going with their quest as they came upon a bridge as they try to cross it, then a strange little creature that looks like a mix breed between a cat and a gnome, and doing some drugs, suddenly jumps out in front of the group surprising them while royal teen gagged at the being before him.
"Hum-di-diddle. To pass the bridge, you must first solve my riddle," the strange little creature said as Luz step up as she said, "Hit me little furry man."
"Your quest shall stop if you fail this game. So, tell me, my dear, what is my name?" the little creature said as Luz got a close look at it, she saw the thing had a name tag on its shirt.
"Uh...Chris?" Luz offered as she was clearly guessing here.
"That's it!" the cat creature said he look at Luz and said to her, "You may cross the bridge. And please take this, chosen one. It shall help you on your journey."
"Wow this is amazing." Luz said as she proceeded to put the ring on.
"Nah, I think I'm good," Luz said but the warrior guy suddenly grabbed his own shirt as he said, "You can use my shirt." then rip it off his body, showing off his muscles while Luz was drooling over him before saying, "Yes, I need a cape."
(With Eda and the others)
"Oh no," Eda said as King was sniffing out Luz with Lucina plotting a murder. The trio suddenly came across the once beautiful village that Luz was at earlier. It was now in ruins just like the castle before with a strange mist floating around the area.
"I'm going to kill this guy and bonk Luz on the head... not in that exact order." Lucina said as she was about to lose her temper. "Yo Cubone you sure my sister came this way?" Lucina asked as she looked to King.
"Can't mistake her smells. Like Lemon and young, naive confidence." King said and thus Lucina began to look around for any clues.
Lucina soon came across a weird looking stuff cat toy, or what she thought was a cat toy as she said, "What the heck is up with this thing?"
Eda suddenly showed up as she flicked at the "Toy cat" as its eye pop out of its head before she started to shake it while asking with a demanded tone while she said, "Hey. Wake up, you. What have you done with Luz? What's your endgame?"
"To find your pupils and still your wrath, look ahead and follow the path," the cat toy said as it turned its head while it spoke. But then suddenly the toy began to decompose turning to dust as it also laughed with its eyes the only thing that remained of it as King suddenly scream a bit as he said, "The cat man melted."
"It's a trap," Eda said as she got back to her feet. "They want me to follow Luz." Eda said and thus Lucina took out her bat and smashed another stuffed toy with it.
"What else we spring it!" Lucina snapped as she glared at King. "And when we find out who's responsible for this, they are going to regret they day they crossed Lucina Noceda!" Lucina yelled as she was in her rage mode.
(Back with Luz)
As the group keep traveling down, that strange cat creature and a little fairy had join in on Luz's quest as Luz said, "Thank you for inviting us to your feast, Princess. All your food was so tiny and cute."
"For you chosen one," the fairy princess said as she created some bracelets for Luz as she grabs and puts them on as she turn to the small group of creatures and Nevareth that join her on her quest and said, "Thank you. You have all been so kind and thoughtful. I hope this quest never ends."
"Your quest will soon come to an end, for the staff you seek is around the bend." The cat creature said gesturing to the path behind them.
"Thanks for ruining the mood, Chris." Luz said in a deadpanned tone showing she did not like what was said.
"Go on, The Celestia Staff is yours. You've earned it," Nevareth said with a smile on his face, as Luz smile as well and went on her way as the group said to her, "Farewell Lady Luz."
Unknown to any of them that creature was still following Luz, as if it were waiting for something to come as it stay close to Luz hiding in the trees.
(Later)
Luz soon arrived at the lake where a small island was seen with the staff there waiting for her. As she looked to it, the ground suddenly began to shake as Luz looked to the water and saw it bubbling. Not to long after a stone pathway rose up and formed a bridge for the pair to walk on. After seeing this Luz smiled to this with hope and wonder in her eyes.
"I knew this world wasn't all gloom and doom like Eda and King said." Luz said as she run, skipped across the bridge even spinning a bit as she went on saying, "There is wonder here, and I... I think I came here for a reason."
Once she got to the staff Luz looked to it with slight trepidation. "Ok, this is it." Luz said trying to psyche herself out. "Moment of truth."
Luz reaches out to the Celestia Staff, as she grabs it, magic soon pours out from it surrounding Luz hand as if it were alive accepting her as its true wielder before sending out a burst of magic with Luz pulls the staff out from its resting place as she cheers, "YES! I am the Chosen One. I knew it! I always suspected there was a reason nobody understood my wacky antics back at home."
Luz Dance around with her new staff as she seem happy that all of her wild fantasy will no longer be fantasy but real as she held up the staff and said, "Now I have concrete proof. HAHA!"
Her celebration was cut short as the light from the staff suddenly went out and the staff itself faded away into a dark mist surprising Luz as she try to keep hold of the staff as she said, "NO!"
But that was not all that happened the area around Luz was changing as the flowers were wilting, the Water vanished, the entire place became worn and decrepit to the point it took a full 180 from the happy wonderous form it took prior.
"What?" Luz asked shocked over what she was seeing.
(With Eda and the others)
Lucina was holding on tightly as Eda was now going full speed on her staff as she started to explain thing of what was going on as she said, "I know this guy. He's no wizard."
"IF he not a wizard, then what the fuck is he?" Lucina question as she was now confused about this whole thing as she thought it was some sort of scam or sick joke before it became something else as Eda said, "He's what you'd call a puppeteer, a demon who specializes in scamming and manipulating people. He's trying to use Luz to get to me."
"Not unless I get to him first. I don't care if this guy is a demon or Jeff Dunham, I'm going to beat him till he nothing but paste!" Lucina said as now was she really pissed off, if it one thing to trick her sister into a scam, but to use her as well and no doubt hurt her, she was going to make this guy pay, demon or not, contract with a demonic owl or not, she'll use her newly given power to show this puppeteer who's the boss is around here.
(with Luz)
Luz whimpered a bit as she had the toy sword drawn ready in case of any surprises. "Luz the Human." Came the Wizard who had spoken to Luz.
"Magical Wizard?" Luz greeted as she looked to the Wizard in question.
"Your hubris has failed you, Witch Apprentice." He said as his head twisted and his voiced morphed revealing himself to be a puppet controlled by a giant octopus, creature that began to laugh maniacally. In turn from the ground the characters she met on her, 'quest,' rose up as puppets all controlled by the same creature.
"Ok, Luz, Don't panic. This is classic Chosen One Biz." Luz said sounding more like she was trying to convince herself now. "You just have to rescue everybody and defeat the final boss." Luz said and in turn the Wizard went at her.
"I am everybody, you fool!" He yelled holding the wizard to Luz's face. "Don't you see? I'm no wizard and your no chosen one." He said holding the Wizard where it pointed at Luz. "I've tricked you." He said laughing maniacally at the end as Luz was shocked by this.
"What?" Luz asked before her cape and ring before turning to chains and cuffs binding her to the ground. "No betrayed my own cool accessories." Luz cried out as she then glared at the giant calamari. "Why are you doing this?!" Luz demanded as she wanted answers.
"You mentor has been stealing customers from my potion business for years." The being said as it moved towards Luz a bit. "She must be destroyed." He said and thus Luz rolled her eyes.
"Does everybody have a beef with Eda here?" She asked and thus the puppets all confirmed this with nods. Luz sighed to this as she knew Lucina was right in the end.
"And you lured her right into my trap, all because you wanted to think you were special." He taunted as Luz then glared at the man.
No!" She yelled and turned her attention to the octopus. "Joke's on you, cause Eda isn't stupid enough to fall for your trap." Luz boasted but was then met by the sound of gunfire raining down and hitting the monster. He cried out in pain as the magical bullets hit him and thus from the sky Lucina landed.
"Lucina. Gracias por el rescate!" Luz cheered and thus Lucina then glared at Luz.
"CIERRA TU MALDITA BOCA!" Lucina snapped still upset with Luz for the dirt in her eyes. "And YOU, TENTACLE PORN FREAK!" Lucina yelled pointing her guns at Adegast. "Drop my sister now or so help me I'm taking each one of your tentacles tying your puppets to them before shoving them up your holes and then tying you down and knocking you into the boiling water!" Lucina yelled as she glared at the being before her.
"You and what army?" Adegast asked and thus Lucina gritted her teeth to this.
"Adegast!" Came the sound of Eda who then came down and kicked Adegast in the head before joining Lucina. Once they parted Lucina smirked to this.
"You were saying?" Lucina said as she smirked at Adagast before she then glared at him. "Now this is your last chance, let my sister go or we're gonna have to burry you in that grave!" Lucina demanded while she glared at Adagast.
"She can leave if she wants to, but I sense she wants a real fantasy." Adagast said only for Lucina to roar and throw her bat at the being. The bat spun and hit Adagast in the head causing him even more pain.
"Over my dead body!" Lucina roared before charging in and delivering to Adagast a drop kick from hell by using her wicked weave and summoning Madama Obscura's heeled foot for it. Adagast went flying back as Lucina then used her new guns to shoot at the pullets around Luz. Once she was clear she went for Luz and got her loose.
"When I tell not to go on a magical adventure given to you by some old creep in robes listen and don't go on the adventure!" Lucina yelled scolding her sister for this.
But then Luz went wide eyed and acted fast. "Look out!" Luz cried out as she moved Lucina and stabbed the toy sword into the Wizard puppet making it pop out of existence.
"Scold later, kick ass first." Lucina said as she god ready for a fight.
Adagast roared out as he came at the girls with his puppets as Eda came in to join them. Lucina hit one so hard it went flying away to the distance. "Home Run!" Lucina called out as the puppet vanished in a twinkle.
Three more puppets came at them and in response Eda launched a blaze of fire at them turning them all to ash. This also burned the Demon Puppeteer as well causing him more pain. Then from behind Luz avoided an attack from Nevarith who clashed swords with her. "Thought we had a connection, Nevarith." Luz said clashing blades with this foe before running him through.
"My flawless pecks!" The puppet cried out in pain before vanishing as well.
"Back off, or the dog gets it!" Adagast roared as he had King hostage.
"I am not a." King began but was cut off by the monster.
"Yeah sure... NOT!" Lucina roared and activated, Witch Time. Time slowed to a crawl for her before she jumped up and had her fist ready. Time resumed and the next thing Adagast knew he was punched in the face by Lucina and her wicked weave. The punched caused him to drop King and thus Eda caught him.
"Not the face." Adagast said and thus Lucina smirked to this.
"Fuck you, hell no." Lucina responded and thus sent a flurry of wicked weave punches at Adagast each one with increased fury against the demon. Eventually she got to the climax as Lucina reared back for one final punch. "And Mama says knock you OUT!" Lucina roared and punched Adagast so hard that he went flying through several trees before he hit a stone structure. The group ran over and saw Adagast under the rubble as Lucina cracked her knuckles glaring at the bastard.
Of course, Adagast began to shrink down from all the punishment he took from those attacks until he was about the size of a regular octopus. Eda picked up him and glared at him for a moment. "Well, this is the last time I take outside referrals." Eda said before she ate the little bastard whole.
"Huh could have made sushi from him." Lucina said as Eda finished her snack. "Now baby sister I believe a healthy serving of... what's wrong?" Lucina asked her tone changing as she saw her sister was, upset.
"Lo siento hermana mayor." Luz apologized suddenly as Lucina knew what this meant. "This place is nothing like I imagined, and you were just trying to look out for me as always." Luz said as she never seemed to learn this lesson.
"Hey, it's my job to look after you, that includes beating up your bullies and teaching you how to fight when I'm not around." Lucina said as she would always look after her family. "Somos Familia Luz. We look out for one another." Lucina said and thus she ruffled up her sisters head a bit.
"Yeah." Luz said and thus Eda sighed to this.
"Jeez all this mushy stuff." Eda said as she wished she and her own sister were still this close.
Just then as if summoned by a holy spirit light shined down from the skies above them. This made everyone go wide eyed in shock as Lucina began to panic a bit. "They're here." Obscura spoke as she was wondering when the Angels would show up.
"No... not again." Lucina gasped as she tried to ignore them.
"Again?" Luz asked and then remembered a moment in their past. Lucina used to claim there were these creatures that no one but her can see and how they were NOT friendly. No one believed her and had almost been committed for it if they had not fed her those medications. Luz then gave a glance upward and, in the light, she just barely made out bird like creatures descending from above.
"What the heck is this? I can't see a thing?!" Eda cried out and thus Luz looked to her sister.
"Lucina." Luz said as Lucina covered her ears and closed her eyes.
"Not real, they're not real I'm not having a relapse they're not real." Lucina said more to herself and in turn Luz shook her sister. Lucina did not want to be put back on those meds anytime soon or at all actually.
"Lucina!" Luz cried out and thus Lucina looked to her sister. "Are you seeing creatures that look like birds, have wings, and these halos on them?" Luz asked and thus Lucina nodded to this. "Ok... then I see them." Luz confirmed and thus Lucina went wide eyed and looked up at them.
"Yes, little Umbran those are Angels and right now is the perfect opportunity to earn your keep with Inferno." Obscura said and thus Lucina realized what this meant. "Enter Purgatory and hunt." Obscura said as she grinned at the feast coming to Inferno. "It's time for some payback after all for the years they made you look like a crazy girl." Obscura said and thus Lucina sighed to this.
"Luz... Eda... King I'll be right back." Lucina said and thus she raised her hand upward. "This punk has some issues to work out." Lucina said and in turn drew a circle with the Crest of the Umbran Witches. Once it was made, she jumped upward and to the shock of those few there she vanished.
"What the where did she go?" Eda asked and in turn Luz saw it.
"She's entering their plain of existence." Luz said and thus her eyes stayed on Lucina.
Meanwhile in Purgatory Lucina was approaching the Angels and in turn she got to work by taking out her bat and bashing them over the heads with it. The Angels went flying thanks to Lucina's enhanced strength before she grabbed two by the neck and smashing them into each other. She then got on the back of another, hit it over the head with her abused bat before she sent it down to the ground. Once that happened the Latina Witch landed on the ground and watched the other Angels that she hit crash into the ground.
"Ok you winged fuckers you made me look crazy as a kid... time for some payback bitches!" Lucina announced before she roared and charged into the fray. She began to fight the Angels as more of a street brawler then the elegance a Witch would have. While the Angels were being slammed around Eda and King could not see it well enough while Luz had to play guide for them.
"Shit, Shit; Shit!" Eda cursed as she had King and Luz in her arms as she ran to avoid the danger.
"Swear!" Luz cried out as the angels were being tossed around by Lucina, the Umbran Witch just kept killing them.
In Purgatory Lucina had an Angel by the legs and was spinning it around knocking into the other Angels. Meanwhile in Chaos Eda had found a hiding spot only for it to be wrecked by the battle. As this went on Lucina was smashing the Angels with her bat left and right as Eda could not hit what she could not see.
"Titan if you can hear me, if I make it out of this with the kid's I will NEVER miss a payment with Rodin again!" Eda cried out as she couldn't fly away as she then huddled against some bits of stone for shielding. Just then out of nowhere something impacted the ground releasing a demonic aura from it making the trio look to see a familiar man.
"About time." Rodin said as he smirked to this. He looked to the Angels with a red glow from under his shades as the Angels cowered from him knowing exactly who he was. "Don't worry I'm not your dance partner now move out of the way." Rodin ordered the Angels, but they refused to move. "GO!" Rodin roared out releasing a burst of his own power and demonic roar mixed together sending the Angels flying back.
"Rodin?" Eda asked when she saw Rodin was here.
"If it ain't my good buddy, Eda." Rodin said as he put a cigar in his mouth before lighting his thumb with a violet fire. "How about you and those kids get outta here." Rodin said before lighting his cigar and took a drag from it. Once that was done, he blew out the fire and then went back to speaking to Eda. "You die, and I'm going to have to go into that hole chasing after the money you owe me." Rodin said and thus went back to why he came here.
Back in Purgatory Lucina grabbed an Angel from behind and then flipped it over and slammed it into the ground. Lucina then jumped away from a surprise attack and landed on the ground but when she did something began to happen. Her bat was broken in two now as she saw the top half fall off leaving only the handle forcing her to toss it. "Ok no more messing around." Lucina said and thus she slammed her foot down revealing the Elven Nights attached to it. Following it up she drew the guns from her back and spread her arms out. Doing so seemingly caused a spotlight to shine on her as if this were her stage and the Angels were party crashers.
"It's time to party," Lucina said as she began to fire upon the angels that came at her, with some getting to close to her, she wacked one with the butt of her guns before raising a leg and kick one in the guts while rapid firing the gun on her foot, putting a huge whole in the angel as now she was getting the whole shooting at the foot deal.
She soon did a hurricane kick as she lands it while firing a round within an angel's head as it went down quickly before doing the splits, dodging a pair of angels that tries to secure her with their weapon and got each other before she raise her guns at both of them and blast them away.
Luz watch in amazement of seeing how her sister were kicking butt again these angel-like creatures, as Rodin smile as he took a puff of his cigar and said, "Beautiful."
Lucina was handling herself well with the angels, and no doubt the number of angels that were coming may be plenty to settle her quota of angel killing for Inferno, but there were still a lot more coming as she was getting annoyed by this as she look towards the Eggman and said, "Hey Rodin! MY bat broke on me, you got any other weapons on hand, like a mace or an Axe, I'll even take a strong stick at this point."
"Don't worry, I got you!" Rodin said as he took something off his back and throw it towards Lucina as she drew another circle as the said object flew right through the circle as it vanish from the world of Chaos, it enter Purgatory as Lucina grab hold of said weapon, and almost went flying with it, it was a long heavy sword as she grab it with two hand to see it was a unique looking claymore with a big ass blade on it and a fancy handle to it with the only thing keeping the sword to the handle was a small metal pole, as Lucina give it a few test swing and slash away at an angel that was coming at her, cutting it down instantly as she said, "Now that's what I am talking about, thanks man I owe ya."
"Not a problem, I'll put it on Eda's tab," Rodin said as Lucian couldn't help but smile as she use her newly given sword some more swing, cutting down many angels at once before switching back to her guns for those at longer range than her sword could reach.
"Look at her go! Man, I can't wait to learn magic!" Luz said as she saw what her sister is capable of as if she can do the same thing as her, she'll may die happy."
"How can you see this?" Eda asked as she looked to Luz with confusion as she didn't see anything.
Alas all things must come to an end as Lucina took care of the last Angel and then dusted off her hands with it. "There happy bird brain?" Lucina asked her contract demon.
"Oh, you met your quota quite nicely little Umbran but we're far from done." Obscura said and in turn a giant portal appeared above them larger than the Affinities. From it a larger Angel wielding a giant axe came out making Lucina go wide eyed to this.
"Oh, come on, you have got to be kidding me!" Lucina cried out seeing the large foe before her.
"Ok that's it falling back." Eda said as she grabbed Luz and King and moved out of the way not wanting to test her luck against whatever had just showed up.
When its taloned feet touched down the ground cracked as the weight of this creature could not entirely be supported. He then let out a mighty roar of fury. Lucina then began to run to the side and shoot at the large Angel with her guns hoping to do some damage to it. "I must retrieve the power of Arch Eve before the false sage does so." The Angel said as he began to grip his axe in both hands. "In the name of the Creator Jubileaus you shall relinquish your powers of Darkness to me Umbran Witch." The Angel said and in turn swung his axe at Lucina.
Lucina dodged it as she was confused by this. "Arch Eve? The Fuck is that?" Lucina asked just as she avoided the axe swing.
"The Creator Jubileaus shall be reborn through Arch Eve and Arch Adam." The Angel said knowing the hidden power of Arch Eve and Arch Adam would allow them to do almost anything even revive those lost.
"You're still not giving me any answers asshole!" Lucina cried out as she avoided the next few swings. The Angel was large, but its size made it slow thus Lucina used her small size to her advantage. So, avoiding the next few swings Lucina moved toward the crystal-like spot on its back. When she got there, she shot into it with her guns causing it to shatter resulting in a chain reaction. Gashes appeared all over its body causing the Angels blood to spew out from it.
Lucina landed nearby as the Angel was paralyzed by pain which the girl saw her victory was at hand. "Now how to end this?" Lucina asked as she looked to the Angel.
"Might I offer a suggestion." Obscura spoke as Lucina heard her out. "Why not perform a summoning and feed this big boy to us." Obscura said and thus Lucina saw where Obscura was going.
Lucina then licked her lips seeing that it was time for some ultra-violence. "What do you have in mind?" Lucina asked and thus Obscura smirked.
"Just follow my instructions." Obscura said and in turn Lucina understood.
Lucina spun around as she began the summoning. "AVAVAGO!" Lucina invoked as she then stood in something of a model pose with her hands behind her head while her hair spun from her head and into the ground into an Infernal Portal. Not long after a second Portal showed up and rose from the ground before a massive, horrific, and demonic creature rose up and roared at the Angel.
This Demon was known as Gomorrah Devourer of the Divine, and this Angel was his meal. The Angel could do nothing as Gomorrah then charged in and chomped down on its body trapping him in his savage fangs spewing the Angels blood all over.
"A word of Advice... I'm the sort of, Witch that you just don't fuck with." Lucina said as she glared at her enemy.
"Change the world as it should be." The Angel gasped realizing his death was imminent.
"That's enough from you, NOW DIE MOTHERFUCKER!" Lucina roared out finding that a better thing then Luz and Eat This Sucker.
"Swear Jar!" Luz was heard from afar.
"Praise be to the Creator Jubileaus!" The Angel cried out and in turn Gomorrah slammed the Angels head into the ground crushing its skull before he proceeded to chew and swallow his prey. Once The Angel was dead Gomorrah roared out and then made his forced return to Inferno.
Once the Portal closed Lucina sighed and sat down on her rear. "There you happy now?" Lucina asked as she expected this should sedate Obscura for the time being.
"Most certainly I've always gotten hot and bothered with the ultra-violence." Obscura responded but then chuckled. "I look forward to the next Angels you send down our way." Obscura said making Lucina go wide eyed to this. "Don't look so surprised this contract is lifetimes worth." Obscura added and thus Lucina sighed in defeat.
"Great there goes my health." Lucina said knowing this was going to be bad for her health.
She then stood back up and proceeded to return to Chaos by opening a portal and stepping through. When she did Eda looked to Lucina and saw that she was back. "What the heck was all of that?" Eda asked as she saw Lucina walk by with her hands in her pockets.
"Oh, just shit I've got to deal with from now on." Lucina responded as she walked away.
"That was amazing!" Luz cried out as she looked to Lucina and hugged her. Lucina glared at her sister before bonking her on the head for the incident earlier causing her to cry out in pain. "What was that for!?" She asked and thus Lucina raised a brow.
"That was for listening to a con artist... present company excluded." Lucina said making that last jab at Eda. "And this." Lucina said before hugging her sister close. "Is for not dying." Lucina said holding Luz close.
"Gracias Lucina." Luz said as she then was released.
"Just a word of advice... this world is shit and everyone wants to be special. But you're my sister and at the end of the day your special to me, special needs and just special in general and you don't need some grand design or fate to be special." Lucina said ruffling up her little sister's head.
"Si yo tambien te amo hermana." Luz said and thus they got ready to head back to the Owl House.
"No come on let's head back to the Owl House the sooner we get back the sooner we can skip Hooty." Lucina said and thus they all began to head back.
"By the way, what was that about adding to my tab?" Eda asked as she glared at Lucina who in response began to laugh mischievously. As they walked though Lucina's shadow of Obscura moved on its own and began to chuckle a bit showing that she found that this would be her most amusing contract yet.
