Finn felt like he was falling, he also felt like he was floating, nothing really made sense to him. He didn't know how long it lasted for but he eventually found himself lying on a stone cold floor and groaning in pain.
"I really hate the Hive." Finn rolled onto his back, looking up at the ceiling above him with curiosity. It was nothing like the ceiling of a cave on the moon where he had been before, but it was made of stone. After staring for a few more moments, he heard the sound of ruffling clothes nearby that instantly made him alert.
Jumping to his feet, Finn reached for his weapon that was holstered on his hip, pulled back the hammer and aimed it in the direction of the noise, spotting a group of individuals wearing robes and large hats. They didn't seem hostile, but Finn wouldn't be letting his guard down.
"You have about five seconds to explain before I start blasting." Finn urged them to explain themselves, not putting his weapon down as he did so. All of them began shaking, but the one in charge of the group stepped forward and bowed his head.
"Forgive us, oh hero, we have summoned you in our time of need." The other people began bowing their heads, still shaking. "Our world is being plagued by events known as Waves of Calamities. The last was around a week ago and the country of Melromarc lost nearly its entire army trying to defend its villages from the onslaught the wave brought with it."
"And let me guess, you summoned me to deal with your problem." Finn didn't bother beating around the bush and stated what he understood so far. "Fine, but I'm getting home after I deal with this." He holstered his weapon, feeling something different about his gun that he would deal with later.
The robed people all stood tall, smiles on their faces in relief that their request would be granted. They then ushered Finn to follow them to their king. He took the time when they were walking to inspect the group guiding him, finding that they seemed to have features that didn't follow what he knew about Human, Awoken or Exo anatomy.
A couple of the people have what seemed to be dog ears on their heads and bushy tails on their backsides, another had horns coming from his head and a thin tail, while the last didn't have any of them, instead having scales on their body.
He noticed that other people he passed while walking to their destination also had these animal features, meaning that it was probably a common thing here. Finally, they arrived at their destination, a large hall where what looked like a combination between a rhino and a man sat on the throne with a crown on his head.
There were others in the room, advisors or nobles who came to witness this, Finn didn't know. What he did know, they were looking down on him because of his child body. Even the king looked surprised by Finn walking into the room, but he soon hid his surprise away.
"Welcome hero, I am King Aldric Calinthea IV, king of Calinthea and her people." The king introduced himself, the others in the room bowing to him. Finn didn't bow though, getting some glares from some people that he elected to ignore.
"I was told we would be attempting to summon one of the heroes, though I am unsure as to what hero we have summoned. He does not seem to be one of the four Cardinal Heroes." The king spoke up first, causing the entire hall to quiet down. "Young hero, please present your weapon so we may know what hero we are addressing."
Finn did just that, pulling his weapon from his holster and holding it in the air. The king seemed entranced by the sight of the weapon, as did the rest of the hall. Finn used this time to quickly figure out what had changed about his gun and found that there was a gem embedded into the weapon.
"And what might that magnificent weapon be, if you don't mind me asking?" The king questioned, as though he found the weapon beautiful, he had never seen anything like it.
"You've never seen a gun before?" Finn did a quick spin with the weapon before holstering it once again. The rest of the room began discussing what he said, whispers of 'gun' could be heard by Finn. "By your whispers I'm going to assume that's a no."
"Forgive me hero, but this is not part of the prophecy we know about. We were told that there were only four heroes, the Sword, Spear, Bow and Shield. We do not know what this 'gun' is or why you are here." The king did a quick bow to Finn, something that he quickly waved off.
"Don't worry, I reckon I have an idea, but I won't bore you with the details. Well, a gun is like a bow but better." Finn gave a brief summary at what his weapon was and instantly the whispers came back. "I assume you brought me here to speak about an important matter king?"
"Indeed, we have summoned you here because of the Waves of Calamity. We require the assistance of the heroes to fend off the waves and you have been summoned as one of these heroes. If you wouldn't mind opening your status, we can see where you will need to improve."
Finn was confused at first, not understanding what he meant by 'Status' until he noticed something in the corner of his vision. It was like a small cube with three dots in it, something one would see if they were to access the settings of a game.
Focusing on the symbol, Finn was eventually met with a screen that gave him a lot of information that he didn't fully understand.

Finn shared his stats with the room, getting nods of approval from the nobles and the king. It seemed that this was expected of him because they didn't seem too surprised over his stats. Though when he reached his affinities and said he had 100's in three elements some people widened their eyes.
Finn in the meantime didn't bother acting surprised, he knew exactly why he had these affinities. Because he practiced in the different subclasses, he was able to wield them all, even make use of different supers besides the ones that Hunters mained.
"Well met hero, it would appear that you are already proficient in three different types of magic. Now, it is time for you to rest, the next wave shall appear in around three weeks, and you must grow stronger if you are to save our world." The king motioned for one of the guards to guide Finn to his room where he continued fiddling with his status page.
Along the way he inspected the gun he was wielding, finding that it was similar to his old gun, The Last Word, the only difference being that this gun had a large gem embedded into the handle. Satisfied with his weapon, Finn holstered it once again as he arrived at his room.
"The king will call for you tomorrow. Rest easy, you will start your training tomorrow." The guard spoke to Finn before leaving him alone. Finn sat down on the bed he was given and rested his head on his hands, taking a few breaths.
This was real, he was taken from his world to fight a war he had no part in. The situation was similar to when he was first risen, waking up in a world with no knowledge and told you are meant to protect the people. It honestly gave him a sense of nostalgia.
"Luna, you there?" Finn spoke out into the empty room, waiting for his Ghost to appear. In a flash of blue and white light, his companion did appear.
"For you Finn, always. I can't believe we were taken to a new world!" Luna danced around Finn's head, her parts whirring in excitement. Finn smiled at his Ghosts excitement, happy that she was enjoying herself. "I wonder what Cayde would say if he knew what we were doing now."
The mention of Cayde froze any happiness from his face, causing him to remember just what he was doing before coming to this world. He was dragged into a Hive spell even after Cayde did his best to stop him. He probably thought Finn was dead.
And what about Zavala and Ikora, Cayde would've surely called them and told them about what happened. Were they trying to find a way to reactivate the spell, were they grieving or were they still doing their duties as the vanguard?
Finn didn't know, but one thing was for certain, he was going to find his way home and see them again.
