Gargoyle loud house chapter 1
Scotland. 994 C.E.
Superstition and the sword rule over these lands. It is a time of darkness. It is a world of fear. It is the age of Gargoyles. Stone by day, warriors by knight, Gargoyles were a race of demon like creatures whose sole purpose was to protect. In my home of Castle Wyvern, a clan of gargoyles led by one we named lori loud protected our people from invaders and Viking conquerors. For many years, there was peace between our two kinds, but it was an uneasy one.
Gargoyles were feared by man because of their monstrous appearance. Lori loud had told her siblings once described it by saying that man fears what they do not understand. And she was right. Despite the multiple times he and his clan protected our castle, the citizens still believed them to be no more than beasts. I too was guilty of such prejudice. I believed them to be unnatural creatures, and that no good would come with associating with them.
Lori who one night sees on top of the tower looks down at most of her sisters trying to befriend the humans run off screaming
Lynn. "Why did they keep running away from us for? They do know we protect this kingdom from vikans right..."
Luan looks around to see the humans hiding looking scared
Luan. "maybe it's our aperance could scare them" continues walking
Lynn loud looks like a normal girl but with light brown statue skin,wings claws and a tail with one broken horn.
She loves to work out but couldn't play any games with the humans who fear them
Luan a light bright yellow skin with claws and bigger wings that fold like a cap like all gargoyles do.
Meanwhile in the castle library we see a small gargoyle girl with a green shirt with grey skin n trying to read a book on Greek mythology to she been having eye troubles all the words seem to be a blur to them witch doesn't make her very happy
Lisa tthrows the book across the room. "How am I supposed be able to read with bad eyesight! Can those brainless sheep's just invent something to help my eyesight!"
Leni who was a bright yellow skin and who looks like her sister Lori...with different hair style who couldn't help but here Lisa from the other room make her feel sad. She have never fight any humans believe it was wrong n try to help the princess make dresses. At night Leni mostly is trying to teach all the gargoyle babies that hatch under ground lair that been garded by the knights who made a oath to protect there eggs when the sun was up
Leni was more attached towards the new born gargoyle baby who she name lily.
Lily have bright purple skin with tiny wings struggling to learn how to fly
All seems very peaceful towards the louds at night
However, there was one who considered the gargoyles to be friends. He was the Captain of the Guard, a man who saw the warrior inside of the gargoyles and welcomed them. As time passed, he grew to resent the residents of Castle Wyvern for their mistreatment of the gargoyles. One night, he slipped through the gates of the castle to strike a deal with the Viking Hakon. He would allow the Vikings into the castle before the sun set and the gargoyles were flesh once more, in exchange for the lives of the gargoyles.
The Captain's plan worked. Castle Wyvern was seized, and all its citizens were captured, including myself and the Princess Katharine, Lady of the Castle. However, Hakon refused to honor his end of the deal, specifically about allowing the gargoyles to live. One by one, he smashed every gargoyle he found into rubble until none were left standing.
This erased our last hope of rescue, or so I believed.
We were taken to the caverns on the other side of the forest, where Hakon goaded me and the princess with his plans of ransoming us to Katherine's Uncle, King Kenneth II. However, it was at that moment that Goliath came to our aid, alongside five of his fellow gargoyles. Hakon, desperate to escape, dragged Princess Katherine off to what I thought to be her death.
The gargoyles freed me, as well as the other captives, but I was so blinded by rage and heartbreak that I blamed them for what had happened.
Lori,Leni,Lynn,Lucy,luan,Lana,Luna and lily are the last gargoyles of there kind.
Lori who was anger with greave
Lynn. "What do we do now,Lori?" Lynn punch a rock. "We won't able to save the others bec of humans!" With rage
Luan speaks out. "We should should get our revenge on all the humans that smashed us for protecting them!" Spread her wings
Lynn. "Agree who's with me!" Turns to her siblings
Each one agreed but Lori told them not to take there actions on the humans,if it wasn't for there human friend then they too would be smashed or dead
They all see the guy with the book. "In my anger, I cursed all reaming gargoyles to an eternal slumber. Once my spell was cast, another gargoyle Lisa was out of the sky to see his brethren frozen in stone. I went to do the spell again, only to see the princess behind him, safe and sound. Ashamed of my actions, I could not blame lisa for her anger towards me. I did not fight when she try lifted me into the air, demanding I reverse the spell. I
Lisa. You better reverse this spell now or else! I'll rip you apart!" Show her tiny claws
Guy. "I wish that I could , had Hakon not burned the page with the reversal inscribed upon it."
Lisa let him go and set there staring at her family forever Stone thinking what to do now
then asked me how long they would rest, to which I replied "til the castle rises above the clouds".
With Castle Wyvern no longer safe for her people, Princess Katharine elected to take them to her uncle, allowing the gargoyles to rest in peace.
Lisa have decided not to be turn to stone by the spell but instead roam around the world with hatred for all the humans that did this to her own people just for protecting them for a thousands of years,generations after generation gone now.
Lisa flies throw the night sky not to be seen ever again
Lisa. "Just you wait guys one day I will get my revenge! I'll be Shute that happens!"
Back at the castle we see the reaming louds in placed from there frozen clan in their usual posts, a great sadness about him.
Lisa remembers asking them
The tasked the Princess with guarding the gargoyle eggs currently stored in the Rookery beneath the castle, a task we agreed to without hesitation. But sadly non of the eggs have survived from the attack during day time. She walked beneath to find broken egg shells of stone grumbles she picked up with her hands,Lisa got to her knees and cry
She got up and then had one final task for herself. set out on a journey to to find any knowledge to wipe out humanity she needs to study all magic first trying to bring back her siblings
Unfortunately, no magic outside of Oberon's own is allowed on the mystic isle. the reader of this book for one personal wish: find a way to free one day free her siblings and her clan from the bonds of there curse. They are the greatest allies any kingdom could ask for, and they deserve to be free to roam the night.
I pray to the Gods, to Oberon himself, and anyone else who will listen. Break the spell. Free the gargoyles. Right the wrongs of the past.
A few days ago
A castle in Scotland is under siege from a band of Vikings. Catapults hurl huge boulders into the battlements. The castle's defense is failing. The Captain of the Guard reassures his men that they can hold the castle a few minutes more until sunset. He glances up at the stone gargoyles perched on the tower.
Guy. "Then we'll see some fun," he chuckles.
In the Viking ranks, a soldier tells his comrade that the attack on a castle full of gargoyles is crazy. Their leader, Hakon overhears and says that his sanity shouldn't be questioned. "I say those gargoyles are naught but chiseled stone," he yells, "and even if they're not, it's worth the risk for the plunder within." He gives the order to attack, and the Vikings storm the castle.
They overrun the defense, and ascend the tower. The sun sets just as Hakon reaches the gargoyle at the top of the highest tower. He stares unbelievingly as the statue's stony exterior cracks and falls away, revealing a living, breathing gargoyle underneath. The Vikings back away in fear as the other gargoyles come to life as well.
Lori. notices the intruder and picks him up by one arm. "You are trespassing," thunders. Undaunted, Hakon swings his sword at Lori,who catches it. A slow trickle of blood oozes from Goliath's palm. "Shit!"
The bad guys running screaming from the other gargoyles flying around
Luan. "RAAWRE! I'm going to get you ha ha ha!" Flying towards a guy picked him up then throw them
Hakon orders his men to attack. "that the gargoyles are not is our chance to attack!"
The gargoyles attack, and easily overwhelm the Vikings. With Lynn picking up ten Vikings at once throwing them to a wall
Lynn. "What a work out!" Smile
As the other louds were fighting against the Vikings Lori and Luna to Leni and luan gather around hakon smikering
Lori. "Give it up your done"
Luna. "Out numbered"
Leni. "Those clothes are hiddious on you! Can I make you new ones" she asked
Hakon. "Stay back you demons! I warn you!" Moving his sword at them Lori grabs the sword breaks it with her claws
Lori. "What we're you saying " spread her wings to scare him
The rest of the Vikings flee, Hakon shouts that he'll be back. "I'll get my revenge on you yet demons!"
After they left the louds all gather with a high five,Lisa ,Lana and Lola who was holding lily got out to see if it was safe to come out
Captain of the Guard thanks lori for his help. "You guys did a wonderful job now
Later that evening, there is a celebration in the dining hall. Several of the guards joke about their recent plight. The Captain overhears them laughing at his alliance with the gargoyles. The Captain sits at his table, and the Princess thanks him for fighting well. He refuses the credit, saying that the gargoyles were the true heroes.
The Princess dismisses his opinion, saying that they are monsters. The door to the dining hall opens. Lori and his enter but for clarity, I will use the other gargoyles future names.
End flash back
Not knowing that one day soon they will awake again
