A peek into the life of Betty "Bo" Peep.

New scenes, more accidental Sora shenanigans. Sora holding a pipe was a nod to Hollow Bastion and the wooden sword.

Giggle McDimples: "Molly? Wow, I didn't know you had a kid."

It was years ago now, she recalls. Something so insignificant.

A flickering lightbulb.

In her home on trade world, Betty Peep had a thrift store lamp that always flickered, threatening to blow up on her. Betty stabbed her staff in the ground in a huff as she tinkered, yet again, with the darn thing.

The only reason she even kept it is because her mom thought it precious that the figurine resembled her whenever she put her hair up. (Her mother found every excuse to buy any pink dress she came across that even remotely resembled the figurine dress! Betty wore blue in rebellion.)

For years, she kept trying to get rid of that old thing, but her mom kept finding it online and buying it back. Betty has long since gotten used to the holes in the shade lighting up her room. So, she got creative.

And so did her mom.

(The two made a game of it and shared the pictures on social media of the lamps' travels around the galaxy).

One customer recognized the famous lamp and asked Betty to take a picture of Betty holding the lamp dressed as the figurine. (Her mom framed it in the living room).

(Betty grew fond of that ribbon in her hair, and kept her hair done up like that with the excuse that the updo was more practical than let down).

And that was how she met Woodrow Pride.

The latest in a long line of destinations for the Peeps' Lamp of DOOM! (Seriously, all the customers agreed the thing was a hazard, but the light it gave off was pretty when it WAS steady, so-). Yeah.

Woody! Him, yes.

Woody was ok-looking (No, mom. I did NOT swoon!) No sense of fashion (That leather looks so soft! Definitely huggable.) His name tag is crooked and he kept losing his hat when he tried to return the lamp. (She definitely giggled.)

Mom found a doll resembling Woody in a store.

(It begins…)

Bo Peep: "That was a long time ago."

Woody: "Oh Bo's kid was something special. She was the cutest thing, but so afraid of the dark."

Bo woke to muffled voices in distress as faint alarms blared in the distance. In a daze, she slowly awoke to Woody crouched protectively over her. Wait-

No, a Human! She went still in her standard figurine pose, quick as a blink. Wait-

She's breathing. There's sweat dripping down her face. Her clothes feel different, not the stiff, scratchy fabric she's used to. Bo can't hold this pose much longer and falls limp in the mans' arms.

"What?" Bo bursts into coughs from the smoke. The man cradles her in his lap. Wait-

That voice. It can't be! "Woody..?" Bleary eyes focus on plastic made real. Like something out of a dream.

There's yelling off to the side. Strange yellow robots, a large figure in purple.

A teenage boy holding a pipe standing protectively between them and the other figure.

Woody calls out in familiarity, but the teen looks back confused.

Bo Peep: "It was just a phase."

While on a mission to catch an outlaw, Buzz Lightyear ended up separated from his team somehow in the mayhem.

The target was a mysterious woman on a hoverbike. All he could see was a black and red trench coat, black pants and gloves, an old red hat that looked suspiciously like a cowboy hat, and dark red hair in a braid. Now maybe seeing Andy and Woody's double at the festival last week is getting to his head, but that woman was too familiar.

There was a second woman sitting behind her who is supposedly a victim of kidnapping. She has pale skin, blonde hair in curls, and a large pink bonnet covering her face. She is wearing a stylized pink and white dress with a belt of things from the agriculture farm she was taken from.

The victim was a girl named Betty Peep who is a shepherdess working for the local farm. Otherwise, there was really no clear reason why she was taken.

He could leave this case to the local law enforcement (Sheriff Woody was the next colony over and he's tempted-) Shaking his head, he continued his pursuit. She's fast on that bike!

Blinking, he noticed the kidnapper was looking at him.

His eyes widened.

"YEEE HAW!" The woman took off her hat, waving it at him, and put it back on. "Ride like the wind Bullseye!"

Revving the bike, flipping a switch...

And leaving him in the dust with her nitro.

Woody: "Oh you weren't there from the beginning, hearing Molly crying each night, it broke every toy's heart. But then, Bo came into the room. Her lamp was the only thing that made Molly feel safe. Mom would let her keep Bo on all night."

Bo was huffy as she kept pacing across the bridge of her own rocket. A shorter woman rolled her eyes before adjusting her sunglasses as they passed a nearby star.

"Girl! Are you still down about that?" Referring to the last mission.

"Of course I am Giggles! Everyone just stood by and let me be 'kidnapped' by Jessie!" She raised her arms up in exasperation, using air quotes on 'kidnapped' . "If this wasn't all pretend, who knows what could have happened to me!"

The taller woman ended up raising her arm to shield her from the light of the sun, momentarily taking on a look of nostalgia.

"Yo Betty-! Betty?" Giggles looked back to see her companion in a trance again. Sighing, Giggles faced the window again as she stared fondly at her incredible old He-Man action figure on her dash.

Giggles was worried for her friend. Ever since the accident with her now ex-fiancé, she's been different. Betty didn't even recognize her own name! But when Woody called her 'Bo', she responded as if it WAS her name.

Zurg really messed with their heads…

A while back, they were at this festival that coincided with Woody's promotion. They were in disguise wanting to surprise him.

At some point, there was this little girl that bumped into them, she was holding a large box and was running from someone.

Betty had that look in her eyes that said she recognized the girl. The duo made chase and followed the kid behind an alley next to some boxes. The girl was in a short yellow dress, pale skin with freckles and red hair in two high ponytails.

She was crying as she fell to the floor against the wall.

Betty calmly walked over to the little girl, set her staff against the wall and pulled back her hood.

The girl gasped before clutching the box. It was long and looked like she was trying to open it.

"May I?" Betty calmly tried to take the box and the little girl complied hesitantly.

Eventually Betty opened the box all the way to reveal a lamp and another doll stuffed inside it.

Betty's eyes widened before looking at the girl in shock.

The little girl patted her throat and shook her head.

Standing behind Betty I barely made out "...voicebox?"

Whatever that meant, the little girl looked full of hope. "Gabby." As soon as Betty said that, the girl leapt into her arms and silently cried in her arms.

Giggles was still really lost. Betty confirmed the girl had no parents and insisted on carrying 'Gabby' back to the ship with them.

They passed by the Al's Toy Barn stand to see a strange sight, Woody himself standing there holding a cowboy doll next to THE Buzz Lightyear! Giggles squealed and snapped a photo before posting it online.

Then she ran to catch up to them before showing Betty the photo.

The two stared in shock, but Giggles noticed something off about them staring at the photo. Betty slowly reached out to my camera wanting to get a better look.

"Andy?"

When we went back to the stand they were already gone. This Andy on break and nowhere to be found. At least she managed to get that He-Man Action figure!

That whole day was weird!

She can't help feeling like she's missing something…

Anyway, they more or less adopted little silent Gabby. Or 'GabbyGabby' as Betty calls her. It's adorable how clingy she is to Betty.

As we turned a spare room on our ship into Gabby's room, I found the box with the lamp.

Something about the way Betty looked at it stuck with me.

I pulled it out with the other doll and it was a small desk lamp. The kind small enough to sit on a bed desk or something. It had holes in the top and the base looked like porcelain grass or something. There was a three-headed sheep and a female figurine in a pink dress and a blue staff.

She looked kinda like Betty. Weird…

I put the lamp on the small table next to the bed and put the other doll on the grass, giggling at how it resembled Woody. I posed the old doll so he sat on the grass and gazing up at the figurine.

Reaching over, I turned it on and bathed the room in a soft glow.

Until it started to flicker.

"Uh oh… Betty~!"

Giggle McDimples: "Whoa, who knew you were such a softy!"

Betty is the Latin-American dub name for Bo Peep.

Mysterious woman- Bazooka Jane (Jessie) and her favorite motorcycle, Bullseye. (I couldn't remember if there were horses in the show so I cyberpunked him)
