Hi, I am not dead and this story isn't abandoned. I kind of have major writer's block there for a second since I had no idea how I wanted the conversation with Garmadon to go. I will be honest I am not very proud of this chapter and I probably portrayed Garmadon in an OOC way. So I apologize if this chapter isn't very good. Regardless I do hope you enjoy the chapter.

"Yeah well the element of death chose me to be the next elemental master of it." Alex replied. " Are you surprised because you never thought the element of death would pick someone?"

"Yes, that is exactly why I am surprised." replied Garmadon. "The element of death would only pick someone who has a close relationship with it or to be more specific. It would only pick someone who has already died. So would you mind telling me what realm you were originally from before you passed on?"

"Oh shit." Thought Alex. "He already knows that I have died and now he is asking what realm I was from, but maybe I should tell him where I was from. It would be nice to get a second opinion on my plans and I can foster a trusting relationship with him. Besides, it's not like he can tell someone he's dead."

"Well I don't know the exact name of the realm I am from." Alex replied." I can tell you that the realm I was in before was able to see into other realms and knew some of the futures of the realms."

Before Alex could Garmadon cut him off.

"That sounds like cloud kingdom if I'm not mistaken." Garmadon answered.

"Sorry to tell you ,but it wasn't. Now in my realm we heard stories of Ninjago and its future. More specifically the futures of the Ninja and its enemies."

"So are you telling me that your realm was aware of every enemy the Ninja have faced." Garmadon asked in looked confused. Like he didn't really believe that Alex was telling the truth.

Alex sighed. He knew that what he was saying was hard to believe ,but he was hoping that Garmadon would at least try to listen to him.

"You don't believe me do you?" Alex asked

"Now I never said that ,but I do admit that it is rather hard to believe." answered Garmadon. " I would need some sort of proof that you are telling the truth."

"Well your childhood with Wu was explained a bit," said Alex. "Why don't you ask a question about something you guys did that people shouldn't really know."

Garmadon then looked in thought for a second before he started asking his question.

"Who did my brother foolishly teach spinjitzu to because this person helped us out once?"

"Aspheera."

Garmadon again looked shocked. He didn't actually think Alex was telling the truth.

"Okay so there was no way you should have known that. So I'll believe you." Garmadon said.

Alex was relieved that he was finally able to convince Garmadon that he was telling the truth. He was slightly worried that Garmadon would have asked Alex something he wouldn't have known ,but luckily that didn't happen.

"Thanks for believing me." Alex said. "Now I am gonna need advice on how to handle one of the Ninja's future enemies. His name is Morro and he was the previous elemental master of wind."

"Wasn't that Wu's old student?" Garmadon asked.

"Yeah, did you meet him at some point?"

"No, but my brother sent me letters about him finding a student and his eventual running away to find my father's tomb." Garmadon answered

"Did he ever tell you why Morro ran away to find your father's tomb?"

"No, I just assumed he ran away to chase glory or something like that." Garmadon said. "I am going to guess that was not the reason."

"You're right that wasn't the reason." Alex answered. "When Wu took in Morro, Wu considered Morro the perfect student and eventually discovered that he was the elemental master of wind. Wu even thought that Morro was going to be the destined green ninja. When the day came where they were going to see if Morro was the green ninja the golden weapons didn't react. Wu realized that Morro wasn't the green ninja and told him he wasn't ,but Morro refused to believe it. He eventually left to prove that he was the green ninja and that Wu and destiny were wrong."

"So I am guessing that finding my father's tomb was his way of proving he was the green ninja." Garmadon said.

"Yep and to put it bluntly he failed and died in the Caves of Despair."

"But you just said that he was gonna be the Ninja's next enemy. How would he find a way to travel from the departed realm to Ninjago?" Garmadon asked in confusion.

"That's because he wasn't sent to the departed realm. He was sent to the cursed realm and it was your fault he was brought here." Alex answered.

"My fault!"

"Yep when you sacrificed yourself to beat Chen Morro was able to escape and he plans on opening a portal between the cursed realm and the other realms to curse them all." Alex answered

"How will he open a portal between the realms?"

"He plans to use the realm crystal hidden in your father's tomb, but in order to get there he will need a person who can use spinjitzu's body. He currently plans on using Lloyd." Alex answered.

Garmadon took a second to think all of this through. He opened his mouth looking like he was about to say something and then closed it again.

"How do you plan on preventing this?" He asked.

"Morro first appears at the museum and possesses the security guards body. He then reports a crime as the security guard and causes Lloyd to come to the museum and then ambushes him." Alex answered. "Since I work at the museum I plan on fighting Morro and preventing him from ever attacking Lloyd. It will be a tough fight ,but since I am the elemental master of death that should give me an edge against him."

"That sounds good enough at the moment. If there is any way I can help please tell me." Garmadon replied.

"Actually, could you help teach me how to fight and help me learn spinjitzu?" Alex asked. It would really help him if Alex knew spinjitzu and would make the future a lot easier.

"I'll teach you how to fight ,but not spinjitzu." Garmadon said

"Why not spinjitzu?"

"It is too dangerous. If Morro beats you then he would have a host that knows spinjitzu and that would make you a little too powerful. Also I mean this as no offense ,but I don't really know you yet. You seem like you have good intentions ,but until I know you better I can't in good conscience teach you. Wu trusted Aspheera and looked at what happened." Garmadon replied.

Alex knew it made sense ,but he couldn't help feeling a little frustrated at the blatant mistrust.

"It is annoying ,but I understand." Alex grumbled a little.

"Thank you. Now if you want to, we can start the first fighting lesson now." Garmadon said

"That would be great." Alex replied. Spirits already lifting up with the mention of being able to learn how to fight.

( A couple days later)

The day had just ended at the Noodle House and Alex was waiting around for Skylor. He was fidgeting around a bit because he wanted to tell her that he was the elemental master of death ,but was nervous if she would judge him for it. He had asked Garmadon about the elemental master of death and supposedly some places shunned him because they thought he would bring omens of death or something like that. Other people were just plain uncomfortable with the idea that someone could control the dead.

Skylor walked out of the kitchen in some jeans and a plain orange shirt. She looked tired although happy that the day was over.

"Are you ready to go?" she asked

"Yeah, but before we leave I have something to tell you."

"You're Not' quitting are you?" she asked a bit jokingly

"Nope, but I bet you were hoping I was, didn't you." Alex snapped back.

"Maybe, but what did you want to tell me?" Skylor asked.

Alex held his breath and breathed out. He was extremely nervous to tell her. He felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked to the side to see that it was Skylor's who had a concerned looking face.

"Look, I can tell that you aren't fully comfortable telling me whatever you want to say. If you don't want to, you don't have to." Skylor said.

"No, I want to tell you I just needed a second to mentally prepare myself to tell you." Alex answered "Back , when there was a break in at the museum, I unlocked my elemental powers."

Skylor smiled at that.

"That's great." She cheered. "What is it?"

"I am the elemental master of death." Alex said.

Alex was expecting to get a suspicious look or really anything out of the ordinary. He wasn't really expecting her to just roll with it and not even really react.

"So, have you figured out what you can do or do you want to test your power out with me." she asked.

"No, I have figured out that I can control skeletons and contact the dead, but you aren't going to judge me or anything for my power."

Skylor rolled her eyes at that.

"You think me, the daughter of the guy who tried to conquer Ninjago, would judge you for having a power that you didn't ask for? Now that is just plain silly of you" Skylor asked

" I know it seems silly ,but I just got into my own head thinking that you would hate me for it." Alex answered.

"There is very little that you could do to make me hate you." she answered. " Even though my father destroyed your village and killed your family you haven't treated me with anger or hate and that is more than I could say for most people. I wouldn't judge you for something out of your control because if I did. I would be a hypocrite."

Alex felt grateful for having a friend like Skylor ,but also guilty at the mention of her father killing his family because it was a lie he had just told her at the moment. He was snapped out of his train of thought when he heard Skylor speaking again.

"Do You have anything to say? You looked lost in thought there for a minute."

"Just thinking how great it is to have a friend like you." Alex said.

Skylor looked stunned for the first time that night, but she then smiled.

"Me too." she replied.

So yeah, Garmadon knows that Alex is from another world and Skylor knows his elemental power. Anyway please leave a review to let me know your thoughts.
