The penguins and Joey were very shocked.

"Joeys not sure he likes this…" The big kangaroo said as he shifted backwards uncomfortably.

"Kowalski, analysis" Skipper ordered, a little confused about the situation

"It appears that the new arrival isn't really a threat to us at all…" Kowalski reported

"And it's so cute!" Private added

The baby kangaroo seemed very curious as he hopped around, exploring the enclosure.

"Awwww" The penguins said in unison

Then the baby kangaroo saw Joey. It almost looked like the little Roo perked up a bit

Then it quickly bounded over to the confused looking kangaroo and jumped into his pouch!

"Oi! What are you doing?" Joey asked angrily

"It appears that the joey has imprinted on you…" Kowalski explained

"What!?" Joey exclaimed "Joey doesn't want anyone imprinting on him! Joey wants this little bugger out here!"

The big kangaroo pushed the joey out. The little Roo looked up at him like Joey had just taken something from him.

Then the joey started to cry

This shocked the big kangaroo, who felt a twinge of guilt as he looked down at the little Roo sobbing.

Skipper now had to decide what to do.

"Kowalski, options" Skipper ordered

The tall penguin started scribbling furiously in his notebook. After a few moments he stopped scribbling and turned the notebook around for the rest of the penguins and to see.

"The easiest option would be to simply relocate the baby kangaroo to a different habitat in the zoo." Kowalski explained

"But Alice would surely notice that the zoo's newest addition isn't in the habitat that she put him in. Which is why I have drawn up plans for a mind control machine to use on her!" Kowalski continued, sounding very proud of himself.

"How long would this all take?" Skipper asked

"Assuming I worked non-stop without sleep, I could complete the machine in…" Kowalski paused while he did more calculations on his paper.

"A few days" He finished

"Ummmm… how long would it take with sleep?" Private asked.

"A week and a half" The brainy penguin replied.

"Perfect, we'll start work immediately." Skipper said

Then he turned to Joey "Don't worry pocket mammal you'll just have to put up with the little hopper for a bit"

Joey was still trying to get the little Roo to stop crying, but he responded.

"Uhh yeah that'll be fine… I guess." He said, as if he didn't know if he really thought so.

"Men move out!" Skipper ordered

And with that the penguins vacated the habitat to head back to their own.

Leaving Joey all alone with the… joey.
