Izuku POV:

Once the game was over, we all decided to play Super Smash Bros next. Of course, Kami was absolutely destroying all of us. He's like a pro at this game.

"God damn it! Come on dude! I just want to win one match and not have my ass absolutely throttled by you!" Kiri's shouts of complaint resounded throughout the room as we all laughed at him.

"Get better at the game and maybe I'll think about letting you win." Kami smiled and laughed more. He seemed happier than he was earlier. I'm glad he's getting more comfortable.

"Kiri admit it. You're a sore loser and Kami will always beat you at this game. "Mina playfully shoved Kiri's shoulder.

"I will admit defeat when pigs fly."

I smiled more and held my controller in the perfect position for gaming with these guys. "Even if you beat Kami, I'm going for first place Kiri. Try and keep up with me yeah?" I laughed with false malice and pressed begin. Being player one had its benefits.

In the end, Kami ended up winning again and Kiri groaned.

"Sorry Kiri. I just have way too much skill when it comes to this game."

"Oui, that is true. You just need to get better at the game Kirishima." Aoyama took his turn picking on Kiri, and we all laughed again.

It felt nice finally being able to laugh and not think about everything that happened with Bakugo and Uraraka.

"I think it's time for bed everyone. It's three A.M. and I don't want to deal with all your complaints in the morning. So unmanly." Kiri got up and everyone else followed.

I don't think we ever decided the sleeping arrangements, but I want to have Kami next to me now too. He needs to be protected and loved. Even if I'm not ready for another relationship right now, I can still take care of him. That's what friends are for. Right?

"I also think we should go to bed. It is getting pretty late, and I must leave tomorrow afternoon. Goodnight, everyone." Iida went over to his stuff and laid out the blankets he brought.

"Right, well, everyone can sleep in here tonight. I'll be up in my room if anyone needs anything." Kiri left the room.

I was quick to follow and pulled along Kami. He didn't seem to mind and quietly followed behind me.

"Ei, go slower. You walk too fast, and I have precious cargo." I almost started panting as I reached Kiri's room. He was about to make his way up his stairs, when he heard me, and stopped.

"Oops. My bad Izuku. I forgot we never figured out our own sleeping arrangements. Is Kam joining us too?"

We both looked over at the electric blonde and he just smiled and shyly nodded his head. I see he's back to being quiet and shy. Maybe he'll be willing to tell me what happened to him. I hate that there isn't much to go off of. Although, I also don't want to push him too much. Some things are better off in the past.

"Alright. Then let's head up to my bed then. Is it cool if we all just sleep comfortably on the bed? I don't really want to be on the floor, and I kind of wanted to lay next to you both." Eiji's cheeks reddened slightly, and I smiled at him. He could be really cute when he doesn't realize what he's doing.

"Yeah. We can all cuddle and it'll be like a dog pile on the bed. Just a warning though, I am a total blanket hog and move all over the bed. You guys have been warned." I walked ahead of Kiri and pulled Kami along with me.

When we made it onto the second floor, I jumped into the bed and Kami was quick to follow. Once I was comfortable, I got under the blankets.

"You can cuddle me up here too. I won't mind at all. You're a great cuddle buddy." I motioned for Kami to join me under the warmth of the blankets. He accepted my offer and immediately cuddled up to me.

Kiri got in on the other side of him and we both hugged the electric blonde. He deserved the love and affection we were willing to give. I'm sure other friends do this kind of thing too.

"Goodnight guys."

"Yeah, goodnight."

"Sweet dreams Kiri, Izu."

I purposely left out the 'I' in Kami's usual nickname. If you noticed, don't worry about correcting me.

I can't remember if I've asked before, but do readers think I should make the chapters shorter, longer, or the same? Right now, the average chapter is just over 1200 words, however I did shorten this one since I wanted the update out sooner. If I lengthened the chapters, then updates might be on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. Your input will be appreciated!
