Despite how much convincing all the staff had to do to get Seiichi into the show, Seiichi was still unhappy about a lot, ranging from the dialogue to the studio to the role he was playing.

Now, after all the adjustments that had been done, they were about to start to film the scene when he and Nakawa Kazumi -the actress playing the role of Mouri Ran- were exiting the aquarium after a case.

Seiichi went to take a seat next to his brother, who despite not going to film today, decided to watch to be aware of all the scenes for himself.

"When you are the protagonist and also the side character."

Seiichi grumbled under his breath next to Shinji, who was within earshot, and began laughing uncontrollably at his brother's source of annoyance.

"Is that why you threw a tantrum when you heard the story yourself?" his brother yelled between laughs and giggles, continuing after the giggling fit died down a little, "If it was, then why did you agree in the first place?"

His older brother then looked at him before grinning at him and bringing his index finger to his lips, "Well… Let me keep this one little secret."

Shinji looked up, startled for a moment before pouting cutely at his brother's face splitting grin. "Hey! Tell me! Don't leave me out of whatever you're thinking!!!"

"Never."

"You're evil."

"I know."

Kazumi went over to call Seiichi to start filming only to be met by the sight of a glaring little Shinji and a stupidly grinning Seiichi.

"Oh, come on, you idiot," she said harshly but with a hint of heartiness, and loudly enough for everyone to hear. She then grabbed his ear and dragged him toward the waiting camera man, with him yelling "Okay!" and "Ouch!" along the way.

Soon, they started filming; they had to re-film the scene more than ten times when the phone refused to fall directly into the sewer hole, and when it did, one of the background characters started jumping like an insane monkey, ruining the whole thing, and earning a bad tempered tantrum from Kazumi.

Everyone on set knows that Kazumi becomes easily frustrated when such mistakes happen during filming; however, when she has tantrums, people listen to her because she, unconsciously perhaps?, spreads good advice that somehow leads to a solution to the problem at hand, but not in a nice way.

However, when Seiichi throws tantrums, everyone takes it as a sign of 'Stay Silent Or Stay Home'. However, Seiichi only tends to have such tantrums at the beginning of filming any kind of series or movie; he then just calms down by the time.

Yet, when he throws a tantrum after some time of the start of a filming, it's common knowledge that there must be something serious going wrong with the setup.

And that's something everyone knew he had somehow gotten from Kazumi.

Kazumi and Seiichi were actually childhood friends who shared the same passion for acting; however, unlike Seiichi, Kazumi preferred the stage and acting in plays, such as 'Arms And The Man', which was the beginning of her growing popularity due to her amazing acting as Louka, the independent servant.

Their friendship was actually a hot topic when it was discovered, and people started pairing them together as a beautiful couple, insisting that they were both dating, which didn't sit well with either one of them.

However, that stopped when Seiichi said that he had no intention of dating at the moment and preferred to focus on his career instead, saying he could consider it later in college.

And this and that led to the solution that they could just film the stupid phone fall from Kazumi's hoodie as one clip and separately film the phone falling inside the sewer hole as a second clip, instead of filming a whole one annoying clip.

And the rest of the day went on without any more action, but it didn't stop poor Shinji from having nightmares because of watching the actor rolling for Gin, whose acting had sent goosebumps throughout the staff's spines, including Seiichi.

A few days later they got to the most important part of the whole show, Kudou Shinichi's shrinking.

Seiichi actually was reluctant on doing the scene himself were he was hit by Gin. More at the idea that Shinji was watching the whole ordeal, he didn't want Shinji to be scared for the rest of his life of such a scenario happening to either himself or his older brother in the future.

But Shinji was insistent on watching, even if he seemed scared, "I want to learn your ways! I want to be like you!" he said, and Seiichi really didn't put any resistance to those pleading puppy eyes.

And so he started filming, he is supposed to be taking pictures of Vodka and The CEO, when Gin sneaks up on him from behind, he notices too late, the metal pipe already in the air, he tries to run as it comes down, but in vain, it hits his head, just as wanted.

The metal pipe isn't real, thank you very much, but it was still painful, but not as much if it was the real deal.

The director then declares cut and Seiichi goes to the makeup room to apply all the fake blood and scratches on his face before returning to continue filming.

He acts unconscious perfectly, a hand takes a handful of his hair in a fierce grip and it takes him most of his control not to scream out, there is something at the end of his tongue, he registered it to be the jelly they made as a replacement for the poison, then comes down the water, and he really wasn't that prepared for it.

He starts choking -real choking- when his head hits the grass again, after some time he starts screaming -as planned- accommodating the symptoms of the poison that were explained to him, then pretends to black out with a pained expression all over his face, then comes the yelled "CUT!" he has been waiting for.

"Hey, Kunikida-san! I would have appreciated it if you were a little bit nicer when dropping my head at the very least!!" Seiichi starts, coughing in between, his throat actually hurts.

"Sorry! I didn't mean to be that harsh! Did I hurt you?" said Kunikida, now with Gin's demeanor gone, replaced with a concerned look, "Don't worry, I just had some water entering the wrong pipe that's all."

It didn't make the older man relax, but he didn't comment as they were led away by some staff, so they would set up what they needed to start filming the scene when Shinichi was found.

Seiichi just stood watching in awe at his brother's acting, he aced the role into perfection.

"I want to be like you!"

You're already better than me, Shin- No… Edogawa Conan-kun.

And that's how Himura Shinji became a prodigy star actor in less than a week.

I am vaguely aware that this chapter is not of much interest and seems boring, and I'm not sure if I'm happy with it or not, but I'm glad that now you guys could just comment the episode or movie you want written.

In this chapter, I wanted to have Seiichi civilian life and character a little more comprehensible, as this story is about who is behind the Detective Conan, so forgive me if it is so OC like. (﹏)

Anyways, don't forget to put recommendations and read the first chapter for alerts when doing so, and I might be absent more frequently 'cause high school is starting and I'm in so much deep shit right now. (;ŏ﹏ŏ)

Anyways, see you~
