The Amazing Ghost Musician: Yo, what's up FanFiction Readers and Authors alike? I hope that you're all ready for another exciting chapter of Steven Universe: War of the Beasts?
PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47: Is a Smurf's butt blue? Heck yeah I am.
Me: Me too, even though this is a depressing week. We've lost Terry Funk, Bray Wyatt, Arleen Sorkin and Bob Barker.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: It's been a very long and depressing year, with the losses of all of these beloved icons.
PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47: Yeah. We're losing famous people left right and center. It's seriously heartbreaking.
Me: It sure is. But, let's not let that stop us from writing this story. Anyway, this chapter is drawing inspiration from Beast Wars episode 21 "Possession" and in this chapter, a G1 Decepticon returns…STARSCREAM!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: That's right, his spark is roaming the galaxy after Starscream was destroyed by his former leader Galvatron, who became the Decepticon leader after the original Megatron retired… But now that Starscream is back, he's got his mind set on a new goal of serving Megatron as his so-called "Loyal Lieutenant" and be part of the Predacons goal of taking over the planet Earth.
PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47: Holy crapazoid!
Me: I know, anyway.. When Starscream takes over Waspinator's body, he serves beside Megatron and helps him take down the Maximals and Crystal Gems.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Indeed! This is gonna be serious trouble for Steven, Optimus Primal, and the rest of the Maximals and Crystal Gems… However, they might have an edge because there's somebody that's got history with Starscream, and that is his former comrade and bitter rival… JETFIRE!
PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47: Oh damn!
Me: Yes, and this is how Bluebird finds out that the Maximal's ancestors were the Autobots. Plus, Starscream was the one who killed Skyfire, who was Jetfire's twin brother.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: With that being said, there's gonna be a serious battle between Jetfire and Starscream, and we don't know how bad it's gonna turn out.
PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47: Looks like Jetfire's out for blood.
Me: He sure is. Once Optimus, Steven and the others tell Jetfire about Starscream's return, there's gonna be a lot of unfinished business between the two. And Dinobot knows a thing or two about the stunts Starscream pulled. And how that Decepticon was blasted to melted metal by the original Galvatron.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: That's right, Blackarachnia is gonna find out the truth about Starscream, and she plans on taking him down herself. As for Steven, Optimus, and the rest of the Maximals and Crystal Gems, they've all got a plan to take down Starscream for good.
PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47: Nice.
Me: With his help, Jetfire, Steven, Optimus and the other Maximals and Crystal Gems will be able to take down Starscream, save both the Maximal Base and the Beach House without causing too much damage to it. Right?
The Amazing Ghost Musician: That's exactly what they're planning, but let's not spoil this chapter too much. After all, we want our loyal readers to find out what's gonna happen for themselves.

Me: Right, so with that in mind, let's get it started up in here, right fellas?!

Chapter 21: Starscream Returns!
In outer space, we find ourselves in a different spot of the Milky Way and the flagship of the Shadow Empire is now nesting in the Asteroid Belt. It rested itself there to harvest some asteroids for ore materials they could use for newer weapons to make.
As he looked on, Black Diamond was impressed with how things were coming along for his miners and machines. Just then, one of the consoles beeped, and the soldier said to Black Diamond. "Lord Black Diamond, something has entered our airspace!"
"Bring it on screen!" ordered Black Diamond.
"Yes sir!" said the soldier.
And as they zoomed in on the object, it was a glowing blue object that looked as though it was beating. "A Spark!" Black Diamond gasped, stunned by the sight of a Cybertronian's 'soul' or 'heart' as it were. "Scan that Spark and see who it's from!" Black Diamond ordered.
And so the console beeped again as the soldier input some mechanisms and something came on the monitor. "According to the information, this is the spark of former Decepticon air commander, Starscream!" said the soldier.
This made Black Diamond gasp in shock, "The original Megatron's personal punching-bag, I see." said Black Diamond, knowing that Starscream was often the target of Megatron's physical and verbal abuse and met his end at the hands of Galvatron. "Interesting, where is his Spark heading?" he asked.
The soldier located where Starscream's Spark was heading and after thorough searching, he found it. "He's heading to Earth!"
Black Diamond darted his eyes to Earth via his telescope, "You're right!" he said.
"Should we capture the Spark, my lord?"
"No!" Black Diamond replied, shaking his head. "I'd like to see how the Galaxy's hero, Steven Universe, his team of misfits and those pathetic Maximals can deal with a Decepticon on their world."
"Right sir." the soldier replied, as he stood by.
Black Diamond sits back in his master-chair, "This will be very interesting." he smirked with a small chuckle.
Back down on Planet Earth over in Beach City, there was a massive thunderstorm in the area, and then a bolt of Energon lightning
Steven looked outside. "Jeez Louise, it's gonna storm up something fierce." he muttered.
"Talk about a major light-show!" Cheetor said, as he saw the spectacle.
|WARNING, SENTINEL SHIELD HAS BEEN DAMAGED!| said Sentinel, as he was in danger.
Pearl gulped "Oh crud! The shields are taking serious damage here!" she relayed, as the base just shook and then. "And not only that, but there's a heavy dosage of rain along with this thunder and lightning!"
"One more hit and we could be the grand finale." Rhinox gulped.
"Better stow the spare weapons and ammo in the hold—underneath the armored flooring!" Steven said, as he denoted that to be true.
"Good idea!" Optimus agreed, "Can't risk them exploding on us."
"You got that right, Boss Monkey!" said Rattrap, as he nodded in agreement. With that, Rhinox heaved some cannons over his shoulders.
"Ups-a-daisy!" said Rhinox, lifting the cannons on him and began to stow them downstairs.
Garnet then decided to help him out. "Be careful with those, Rhinox. I don't want you to hurt yourself."
Rhinox smiled at Garnet, "I appreciate it. Thank you." he reciprocated.
Over at the Predacon Base, the storm rages over there too with equal intensity. The strange simmering entity was hovering above the Darksyde. As a bolt of lightning strikes down, it causes the Spark to zoom to the side to avoid getting struck.
"Let's get all the heavy weaponry downstairs! Let's HUSTLE, people!" said Flamenix, as he got to work fast, same went for the other Predacons in the ship.
"Got it! HURRY!" Spinitor replied, as he bolted for the weapons cage and began to store it all downstairs.
Waspinator was maintaining his position at the monitor, making sure that everything was still in order as the base shook.
"Quickly, damage report!" Megatron said to Waspinator.
"Computer'zzzzzz not rezzzponding, Lord Megatron!" Waspinator sprawled, "Thizzzz blazzted storm is cauzzzzzing major technical izzzuezzzz!" he grunted in frustration.
"Blast this tropical storm," Megatron cursed. "Aquamarine, Ruby, get the computers back online!"
"Yes, my lord!" they both said, heading towards the ship's computers.
Megatron then looked at things as the sound of thunder echoed through the base "
"Lord Megatron, we have an electrical fire on the lower deck!" Scorponok blurted out.
"We're gonna need all the help we can get." Jasper said.
And just like that, they bolted down to the lower deck to cool down the fire using the fire extinguishers Jasper brought when she raided them from a military installation.
Back inside the Maximal Base, the crew was in the process of moving the spare ammo from their usual spot to the storage cellar, it was bristling to the brim with weapons and ammo from wall to wall. Optimus helps out Steven as they hold open the heavy steel floor-piece as Rhinox and Garnet dump another armload into the area.
"That's the last of it!" Rhinox said, as he dusted his hands.
"Yes, that should hold, at least until the storm is over." Garnet said, as she agreed with him. Steven nodded to that.
Just then, Rattrap popped up on the radio. "Audio up, comrades– this is your Rodent Robot Reporter. Ya want the bad news, or the worst news?" he asked, leaving everyone confused.
Meanwhile inside the Predacon Base, Waspinator was looking at the blank computer screen that was filled with nothing but static.
"What the hell izzz thizzz? Program will not respond." Waspinator muttered, "Wazzzpinator doezz not underzzztand!" He was trying to get it to work, but to no avail.
Suddenly, a bizarre energy began emitting from the computer and a glowing pair of eyes began showing up. "I'll bet Waspinator seldom does." said a voice that sounded familiar. "But try not to let it depress you, bugface."
Waspinator gasped, shocked. 'It….It cannot be!' he thought in a frightful way.
The voice was that of Starscream himself, he let out a malevolent chuckle as his energy shimmered and it enveloped Waspinator in his aura-energy.
Aquamarine, Eyeball Ruby and Terrorsaur all just arrived, as they watched incredulously. "That voice, who was that?" said Eyeball Ruby, as she was in shock.
Meanwhile inside the Maximals Base, Rattrap pulls up an image on the computer screen for the whole team to see.
"The last hit breached the outer wall in vector seven," Rattrap explained, "Very badly too!" he added.
"That's very bad!" Pearl gasped.
"What's the worst news?" Optimus wondered, as he wanted to know.
"The worst news is, it knocked out all the surveillance sensors along the southwest perimeter." Rattrap gulped in horror.
Garnet senses this whole thing. "With how much damage that was done, it made two separate holes in the roof."
"Oh great, you know we should just put up a sign that says 'Welcome Predacons—Enter Here'." Amethyst grumbled, visibly frustrated.
Steven gulped. "If they wanted to, the Predacons could sneak in here overnight and take over."
"With any luck, the Predacons might be having problems of their own." Optimus replied. He thought it over and began going over the possibility.
Inside the Predacon Base lower deck, smoke billows but the fire is under control. Megatron, Scorponok and Jasper douse the last of the flames.
"Damn this confounded storm!" Megatron coughed, as he said that. "Go find out what's keeping Waspinator."
A flash followed by a boom of thunder and lightning flashed, showing that Waspinator was standing in the hallway and as the lightning flashed showing a different Transformer.
"So there you are!" Scorponok said.
"Yes, here I am at very long last." Waspinator spoke, in a voice that wasn't his.
"Something sounds different about you." Jasper spoke.
"What happened to your voice?" Megatron wondered.
"Allow me to present myself, Air Commander Starscream, of the Decepticon Battle Fleet." Starscream announced, presenting himself.
Another flash, and we see an image of Starscream. All the Predacons were in shock and so were the evil Crystal Gems.
"We saw it for ourselves, Lord Megatron," Terrorsaur said, shocked to his very core. "The entity came out of the computer."
"It's true, we saw the whole thing." Aquamarine replied, as she and Eyeball Ruby nodded in unison.
"Starscream?" Tarantulas was quite intrigued.
"How issssssssss thissssss even possible?" DarkFanger asked.
"But you're ancient history!" Blackarachnia blurted out, shocked to see a veteran Decepticon.
"Ancient, Yes! History… NO!" said Starscream, revealing this. "My body may have been destroyed by that rat, Galvatron, but my Spark stayed intact."
"What is he talking about?" Jasper asked, as she wanted to know.
Blackarachnia then revealed. "The Decepticons were our Predacon ancestors." making Jasper bewildered. "For centuries they warred with the Autobots, the ancestors of the Maximals."
"That war was lost, alas." Starscream replied, "And that coward Galvatron chose to be one of many Decepticons that surrendered after losing the war, leaving the original Megatron out to scrap. What a bunch of worthless cowards!"
"Wait, wasn't Galvatron once the original Megatron in the first place?" Spinitor asked.
"Yesssssss, unfortunately he made the wrong move surrendering himself to those damned Autobots." Megatron denoted.
"But you were destroyed, it's written in the chronicles of Cybertron." Blackarachnia explained.
Starscream spoke. "Ahhh, so it was believed. My physical body may have been reduced to unsalvageable scrap-metal by that lower-level street rat, Galvatron, who had once been the original Megatron, but was reconstructed by the most powerful entity of all, the giant Transformer, Unicron!" he denoted them, remembering his horrible fate. "My exostructure may have been destroyed, but my Spark still remained intact. For years, I drifted aimlessly through space."
"And now that you are back, air commander," Megatron then got curious about this. "Tell me… What do you want?"
"Why, to pledge my allegiance to the glorious Megatron, and fight side-by-side as your loyal lieutenant." Starscream said, kneeling before the Predacon leader out of respect.
The other Predacons and evil Crystal Gems were all in shock that they gasped together.
"Is he serious?" Scorponok demanded.
"He must be, unless he has other intentions!" Jasper replied.
"Well, you forgive the glorious Megatron for not melting into a puddle of gratitude." Megatron spoke to him with a look of caution. "Tell me… Why should I trust you?"
"We all know that in the past, you were a lying, manipulative weasel." said Jasper, scowling at Starscream.
"Someone has read about me?" Starscream walked to her and looked her up and down. "Tell me, who are you?"
Megatron spoke. "That would be Jasper, one of Yellow Diamond's former subordinates."
Jasper nodded. "Yeah, I was the muscle of her crew." she said.
Tarantulas then added, "She, along with Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby are Crystal Gems."
"Crystal Gems, you say?" Starscream was perplexed and yet he surprisingly knew this. "You've mentioned Yellow Diamond?"
Aquamarine was baffled by this revelation. "You know the Diamonds?"
"Very much so, Yellow Diamond was once our Decepticon Ally in the Great War." Starscream then began telling them something that they never expected to hear about that day. "But her sister Blue Diamond was our enemy, she sided with the Autobots."
"What?" Eyeball Ruby and Aquamarine both gasped, even Jasper was shocked.
"How's that even possible? There's no evidence of the Diamonds being involved in the Great War." Blackarachnia said, proving her claim.
"That's because the Cybertronies have kept it classified in the Hall of Records." Starscream revealed.
Megatron was intrigued, "I'd figured they would."
"The only question that remains is… How did those Diamonds, or their forces fare in that?" Starscream wondered, as he were.
"Well since you've known much about the Diamonds, Pink Diamond arrived on Earth and had a son. His name is Steven Universe! And he's allied himself with Optimus Primal and the Maximals!" Megatron replied to the silver-tongued Decepticon.
Starscream gasped in fright. "So, that accursed Pink Diamond reproduced!? SLAG!"
"Precisely!" Tarantulas agreed "Now thanks to those Crystal Gems, we were able to make Gem Predacons!" He showed the results of his experiments. "This is Flamenix, the Gem Phoenix, Spinitor the Gem Spinosaurs and DarkFanger, the Gem Anaconda."
"You made your own transformers from dormant Crystal Gems!? I'm impressed!" Starscream mused at this, while the three Gem Predacons felt admired.
"Now back to my original question, Starscream!" Megatron then asked his original question to the deceptive air commander. "Why should I trust you?"
"Because I can show you how to crush the Maximals, and their Crystal Gem allies once and for all." said Starscream, smirking devilishly. "And with my assistance, you can conquer this repulsive planet, enslave the human race, and then the universe will be yours for the taking!"
"Hmmmmm" Megatron pondered.
"Lord Megatron, can we really trust him?" Scorponok asked, showing some concern.
"Yeah, I'm getting a bad vibe from him." Jasper spoke.
Megatron then whispered to them, "Keep a close watch on him to make sure he doesn't pull any fast ones on us." he added, not wanting Starscream to hear them.
The next day, outside the Maximal Base it was quiet after the tropic storm hit. Granted there were a few uprooted trees, splintered boulders and scorched shrubbery, but that's besides the point. Fortunately, there wasn't too much damage done to Beach City or Little Homeworld, which was a good sign.
Amethyst and Cheetor saw the remains of the aftermath, "Dang, some parts of it really took it on the chin." Amethyst said.
"That's one thing about a tropical storm, it doesn't do much for the view." Cheetor added to that notion.
At that moment, a Cyber Bee was buzzing around the Axalon beeping and buzzing as it got Amethyst's attention. "Speaking of views, somebody's getting a scanner full right now." said the purple Crystal Gem, as she spotted it.
Cheetor snarls and transforms into Robot Mode, gun pointed at the Cyber-Bee and he fires his gun, blasting the Cyber-Bee out of the air. "Bulls-eye."
Inside the base, Optimus, Rhinox, Steven and Garnet survey the damaged wall. They can see a jagged dent is punched right through the roof.
"My word, this is some terrible damage." Garnet said, as she noticed. "Rattrap wasn't wrong when he said it was bad."
"We can repair it, but it's going to take time." Optimus stated.
"Yeah, this could take some time to buff out those scratches and the burns." Steven denoted.
"Yo, Big Bot—we were starrin' in someone's home video." Cheetor said, over the comm-link, as he is now holding the scorched Cyber-Bee.
"Yeah, we have three guesses who was watchin' the movie." Amethyst added, as she came in with him.
In the Predacon base, Starscream, Megatron, Scorponok, Jasper and DarkFanger were watching the transmission from the Cyber-Bee before it got blasted by Cheetor.
"My spark saw the damage before entering this body." Starscream stated to them all. "You see that hole, right there? That is the perfect opportunity for an attack."
"Are you nuts? That's what they'll be waiting for." Jasper said, pointing out the flaws in the plan.
"Exactly!" Starscream replied.
Megatron cleared his throat, so to speak and said, "Starscream, perhaps the centuries of weightlessness have taken a toll on your neurological circuitry…" he said.
However, Starscream reiterated things. "While they're busy guarding the southwest perimeter… we strike here! Right through the gunports on the northeast wall." he pointed to the spot in question.
"Oooooh, wonderful idea." DarkFanger agreed with this.
"And once the Maximals and Crystal Gems arrive…we'll pick them off. One. By. One." said Starscream, with a devilish smile on his face.
Back over at the Maximal Base, we see the Crystal Gems and Maximals going over some repairs to their base. But then, a missile streaks and blasts one of the autoguns apart
Optimus, Rhinox, Rattrap, Dinobot, Steven, Garnet and Pearl were standing guard outside the hole in the roof.
"What!?" Optimus was startled by this shocking development.
Garnet senses trouble. "A missile hit!" she said.
Just then, the comms beeped, "They're attackin' the other side!" Rattrap said over the comms.
Steven was baffled, "WHAT!? THOSE LOUSY CREEPAZOIDS!" he bellowed.
Suddenly the Predacons arrived, arms drawn. "Hello, losers!" Starscream spoke, grinning devilishly "We just happened to be in the neighborhood."
"So we thought we'd drop in!" Blackarachnia added.
The Maximals all transformed, while the Crystal Gems got out their weapons as they unexpectedly prepared for battle.
"They must've taken advantage of the hole in the base!" Steven said, as he was dumbfounded.
"Taken unawares… I'm a fool!" Optimus groaned, facepalming.
"At long last, Primal—We finally agree on something." Megatron added, smirking.
Starscream zooms in towards the scene and blasts at them, prompting Pearl to block with her shield.
"Don't you know that it's rude to just drop in unannounced?" Amethyst shouted, "Next time, try knocking!" She opens fire at Starscream, only for him to dodge with a dazzling time-loop.
Bluebird, Flamenix, Inferno and Terrorsaur drew their weapons, with menacing looks on their faces.
"Aw, what's the matter, Amethyst?" Bluebird Azurite taunted the purple Crystal Gem. "You and that spotted cat can't hit your target?"
Cheetor scowled "I'll show you!" he snapped, blaster drawn.
Flamenix was using his flamethrower on them, but Garnet Dodged as she and Pearl blocked his attack, and it was at that moment that Cheetor got hit by Flamenix.
Pearl looked up and saw 'Waspinator' zooming by and she and Cheetor both fired on him, but he dodged with a dazzling, beautifully timed loop-de-loop maneuver. This left them puzzled. "Since when did Buzz-Brain know that move?!" asked Pearl.
The Decepticon zoomed in to gloat about it. "Since his exostructure was commandeered… by the spark of Air Commander Starscream!" said Starscream, with a psychotic grin.
The Maximals and Crystal Gems all gasped in horror at the mere mentioning of the name, as he blasted them all.
"Starscream? That's impossible!" Dinobot gasped, shocked.
Megatron comes from behind, and blasting his former soldier, "We must pay attention, Dinobot." he taunted. "Otherwise, dear me, look what happens."
Steven does his best to block their attacks. "We're surrounded, they've got us pinned down." he said, trying to keep his barrier in check.
As that went on, "We've gotta get out of here, regroup and recover." Optimus spoke.
"What? And leave both the base and the house to the Preds?" Rattrap exclaimed, shocked.
"Optimus's right, we don't have other options." Garnet said, letting Rattrap know that they are out of options.
"We better head for Little Homeworld, and regroup there." Steven stated.
Rhinox, Amethyst, Cheetor, Pearl and Dinobot agreed to that with a nod.
"MAXIMALS, FULL RETREAT!" Optimus called out, holding a fallen Dinobot and they all darted out of the base. "MAXIMUM BURN!"
Meanwhile over at Little Homeworld, we see Jetfire in his beast mode, sensing a disturbance. He was perched on the clocktower at Little Homeworld, overlooking the area.
"What the…What is this aura I sense?" he asked himself and suddenly visions of his past came flashing back at him and he heard the sinister laugh of the Decepticon. "It can't be… He's back!" he began to roar in anger, "RRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!" causing everyone to rush out there.
Down on the ground, Bismuth, Lapis and Peridot ran out to check on him. "Jetfire, are you hurt? We heard a roar." Lapis asked.
"Yeah, that was me." Jetfire replied to her. "And no, I'm not hurt. I sense that the bloody wanker who killed my brother, Skyfire, is back!"
Bismuth, Lapis and Peridot gasped in unison. "Wait a minute!" said Bismuth. "You don't mean….?"
The Autobot veteran gave an unfortunate nod to them all. "Yes, my former comrade and bitter nemesis… STARSCREAM!" he yelled.
Peridot and the others gasped, "OH NO!"
"From what I've projected," Jetfire started off with his explanation. "Steven, Optimus Primal and the other Maximals and Crystal Gems have been forced to abandon the Axalon."
Lapis gasped, "NOT GOOD!" she said, in a panicked voice that sounded loosely similar. "A Decepticon on Earth!? I thought he died!"
"He must have found a way to cheat death." Bismuth stated. "I better contact Tigatron and Airazor, and alert them of the situation."
And so they went to contact their allies.
Back inside the Maximal Base, the Predacons were celebrating their win and making the Maximals and Crystal Gems be forced to abandon their headquarters/living space.
"VICTORY! The Maximal Base is mine… Yesssssss!" Megatron exclaimed with joy.
"We sure showed those a-holes what for!" Spinitor stated.
"You got that right, Spinitor!" Bluebird said, as the two of them high-fived each other.
"But what do we do now, Lord Megatron?" Tarantulas panicked as he asked him. "If we're all here, our base is unprotected."
"First we conquer… now we divide… Tarantulas, Terrorsaur, Inferno, Spinitor, Flamenix and Bluebird will all return to base with me." Megatron stated, dividing things up. "Blackarachnia, Scorponok, Jasper and DarkFanger will all remain here… under the command of Starscream."
"Lord Megatron, are you sure we can trust him?" Terrorsaur asked, feeling a little sketchy about it. "You and I both know that he is a master manipulator." he whispered.
Megatron then whispered back to him, "I know, I need you to get the drop on him, should he pull a fast one." he said. "But for now, you are to keep your beak shut." he then turned to Starscream and said, "Thus, you are rewarded for your loyal service."
Starscream was gracious for this. "I'm just grateful I had a chance to help."
Blackarachnia then muttered, "Yeah, I bet." silently.
Megatron gathers Blackarachnia, Scorponok, DarkFanger and Jasper and tells them what to do. "We are well pleased with Starscream… So far." he stated. "But keep your eyes on him, closely… Blackarachnia, find more information on Starscream."
"Yes, my lord!" Blackarachnia nodded, agreeing with that and so did the others as Megatron went back to the Darksyde with the others.
Back over at Little Homeworld, Steven, Optimus and the rest of the Maximals and Crystal Gems have taken shelter there. They gave Bismuth, Lapis and Peridot information on the situation. Tigatron and Airazor just arrived in the area.
"This is very bad news," said Lapis, as she was worried.
"You're telling me." Steven added.
"Thank you for allowing us to come here." Optimus said to the three of them, and they gave him the thumbs-up.
"We appreciate it." Garnet showed her gratitude.
"No prob, we're willing to help you." Peridot stated, comforting them a little.
It was at that moment that Tigatron arrived, he darted there as fast as possible and then he stopped midway through to the courtyard of Little Homeworld.
Airazor screeched as she flew in from the air and landed near them.
"Tigatron and Airazor made it!" Bismuth said, as she saw them. "It's good that you've come!"
The tiger Maximal then said, "We came as soon as we got your message." as he relayed it. "We heard that the Predacons took over the Maximal Base and Steven's house."
"Is it true?" asked Airazor.
"Yeah, I'll bet that one of them is in my room right now…Going through MY stuff!" Cheetor complained, as he paced in agitation of what could be going on.
"Or even going through our things at the house." Pearl was concerned about this.
"I'm more worried that one of them might've been going through my personal items!" Amethyst was also agitated by this thing as well.
"Hey, don't take this the wrong way, Stonehead. But under the circumstances," Rattrap snarked at Amethyst, Pearl and Cheetor at the same time. "Go tell someone who freakin' cares!"
"You better keep your bazoo SHUT, rodent! I'm not in the mood!" Amethyst huffed.
"Slag off!" Rattrap replied, rolling his eyes.
Optimus kneels by the wounded Dinobot, as him, Steven and Garnet check on his condition. Jetfire comes in and lands on the ground in robot mode and raced over to where Optimus and the others were at. "Optimus, guys, there you are!" he said.
"Jetfire!" Steven said, greeting him. "There you are! We had been forced to retreat and abandon the Axalon and my house!"
"I already know!" the Autobot said, revealing his knowledge. "Optimus, are you damaged?" he asked.
The Maximal Leader shook his head. "No, but Dinobot is." he revealed.
Garnet checked his condition, "He took a bad hit, but Dinobot should make a full recovery."
"Well that's one less thing to worry about." Steven wiped his forehead.
"You should've stayed, and fought to the bitter end." Dinobot stated, as he grunted a little bit.
"And it would have been bitter, Dinobot!" Optimus replied, not wanting any casualties. "But there's no time for this. Apparently, Waspinator is Starscream, or he thinks he is."
Jetfire was confused, "So, he took over Waspinator. No wonder I could sense a mix of those two." he thought. "Either way, it's become a serious problem. Especially since all the files on him were classified by the Maximal Elders."
"Jetfire, you said that you've known Starscream for centuries." said Steven, as he was curious.
Jetfire nodded. "Yes. Back when I was an Autobot, prior to my retirement…Starscream took the life of my only brother, Skyfire!" he spoke, shocking everyone and making them gasp in horror.
Steven was saddened. "He ... .He killed your brother?" he said, feeling choked up a little bit.
Pearl then slammed her fist on the tree, grunting in rage. "That murderer!" she hissed with an ounce of venom in her voice.
"Yeah, talk about evil intentions." Cheetor replied, purring in anger.
"Starscream was very known for deceitful and scheming, he's turned his back on everyone." Jetfire said with a scowl. "He is a lying, conniving, manipulative, cowardly, traitorous little weasel!"
Optimus gasped in shock, horrified and appalled by Starscream's actions and traitorous nature.
"Worst of all, Starscream often tried to undermine the original Megatron and even stole the personality components of Brawl, Swindle, Blast-Off, Vortex and Onslaught, the Combaticons." Jetfire added to his explanation. "He is the most notorious traitor in all of Cybertron."
"And now he's back, pledging his loyalty to the current Megatron." Garnet said, as she was a little confused.
Optimus then began to think of something.
Up into outer space, Black Diamond resumed watching the whole thing unfold. He snickered sinisterly.
"So it seems that Starscream is possessing Waspinator's exostructure." he said, as he mused this turn of events. "And not only that, but he also managed to make the Maximals and the Crystal Gems abandon the Axalon." he then said, with a grin. "Hmmm, looks like things have turned around."
Black Diamond was impressed with the former Decepticon, and it was then that his wife, Tanzanite, walked into the room. "Darling, what's been going on down there?" she asked, wanting to know.
"Well my love, it seems as though an old Decepticon has arrived on Earth." Black Diamond informed her, letting her know of the situation. He then input some buttons and the image of Starscream on the screen. "This is the one."
"Starscream! You mean the former Decepticon Air Commander? AND the biggest traitor in Cybertron History?!" Tanzanite was awestruck.
"Precisely!" Black Diamond replied, as he were.
The sight of this made Tanzanite shocked. "My word!" she said. "I'm surprised he's managed to stay alive after all these years."
"His Spark endured the years and not only that, but he's possessed Waspinator's body." Black Diamond stated to her. "In a way, we can use a Transformer like Starscream for our empire." he smirked sinisterly.
"Of course, darling," said Tanzanite, agreeing with her husband as they kissed.
All the while, in the hallway, we see one of Black Diamond's soldiers, mumbling to himself. "Starscream? Unbelievable, that guy absolutely cannot be trusted!" he said silently. "He's the biggest traitor of all. I don't like this at all." he huffed without drawing attention. "I mean, how can it be that a former Decepticon was able to survive being separated from his body after being destroyed centuries ago."
"It's hard to believe that his spark hasn't joined the Matrix where all Transformers go when they pass on." said another soldier.
"Maybe the Matrix wouldn't accept him." another soldier said to his teammate. "It reminds me of how Lord Black Diamond was treated by White Diamond by his sisters." he mumbled.
"We're not supposed to speak of that!" one of his teammates whispered, covering his mouth.
"D'oh! I'm such an idiot!" the other soldier deadpanned and cursed himself.
"Cadets!" called out one of the generals.
The two soldiers stood back as their general came in and they stood at attention.
"Is there something bothering you?" asked the general.
"No sir!" the cadets said in unison.
"Alright, good enough!" replied the general, "At ease." he said, as he walked off.
Meanwhile, inside the Maximal Base, Scorponok has asked Starscream to meet with him, Jasper and Blackarachnia in secret.
"Perhaps I'm being too oversensitive, my fellow comrades," Starscream asked with curiosity. "But is there something that you're all not telling me?"
"More like something that you're not telling us," said Jasper, scowling.
"Such as?" Starscream replied.
"Don't play dumb with us," Jasper said, huffing.
Blackarachnia then spoke up and said, "I've scanned your file. The Decepticons didn't betray you after the Autobots won the Great War and left the original Megatron for scrap, you were blasted to scrap metal by Galvatron, after you betrayed him when he was the old Megatron."
"You sold out our ancestors and all of Cybertron to satisfy your own personal gain!" Jasper added to that.
With that, the Decepticon yelled, "So what?! Galvatron and the rest of those Warlords were fools to surrender, I DESERVED TO LEAD!"
"Yellow Diamond was right about you," Jasper shot back. "You really are like that guy from the American Revolution, Benedict Arnold! He was the biggest traitor in American history."
"You got that from one of Pink Diamond's books when you raided it?" Blackarachnia inquired.
Jasper nodded, "Pretty much."
"Alright, now that you know my true intentions." replied Starscream, "The question is: Why didn't you guys expose me to Megatron?"
"Well, I felt you might make us a better offer." Blackarachnia said, in a seductive voice.
Starscream mused at this, "Greed and self-interest, eh?" he asked, with a dark chuckle. "I believe I discern a protege." he said, as this went on.
"Are you sure this plan will work?" Scorponok whispered.
"Trust me, he won't know a damn thing." Blackarachnia said, smirking.
Just at that moment, DarkFanger approaches with news, "Ssssssssstarscream, the Maximalssssss and Cryssssssssssstal Gemssssssss are heading thisssss way."
Outside the base, the Maximals and Crystal Gems begin to approach the area and manage to stay hidden. Optimus Primal, Rhinox, Jetfire, Airazor, Tigatron, Cheetor, Rattrap, Dinobot, Steven, Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, Bismuth, Lapis and Peridot are all walking towards the spot where they could hide from the auto-guns.
"Alright, you remember the plan?" Optimus whispered.
Jetfire nodded, "We remember, sir."
"Yes, we do all the talking so that way, we don't ignite anything." Steven replied.
Garnet added, "And we do our best to fool Starscream to take back the base."
"You all heard what they said." Rattrap nodded, "So might I suggest that we all keep our mouths shut."
"Your concern serves you well, my furry little friend…" Tigatron said, patting Rattrap's head with his paw in comfort.
"I've already taken precaution, thank you." Peridot stated this and also denoted.
"Tell me something I don't already know." Amethyst said, rolling her eyes.
Tigatron mutters, "Sheesh… There's an old saying… If it isn't the vermin up your nose, it's the felines." Rattrap nodded in agreement.
'Pesky feline!' Amethyst huffed in her head.
As they all quiet down, the ripped-open section of the ship was being looked over by the Maximals and Crystal Gems. Starscream, Blackarachnia, Scorponok, DarkFanger and Jasper emerge with their weapons drawn, just in case they pull a fast one. "Surrender? Really!" Starscream wondered. "It seems… too convenient for the likes of you…"
"We had no other choice, Dinobot has taken heavy damage." Optimus revealed, showing the weakened raptor.
"Let me guess… you need access to the C.R. Chamber. How nice for you!" Starscream said to them, in a sarcastic rebuttal. "But, what's in it for me?"
"Look Starscream, we don't want any trouble." Steven said, as he made his reply. "We'll do whatever you want."
Starscream thought it over schemingly. 'Interesting offer, coming from the son of Pink Diamond.'
"What makes you think we'll take your word for it?" Jasper huffed in anger.
"How do we know you're not trying to bamboozle us?" Blackarachnia demanded.
Jetfire then spoke up, "It's not a bloody bamboozling method." he said. "Be assured of that notion."
"That voice… it sounds familiar for some reason." Starscream wondered, as he thought.
"Remember me…Starscream?" the gryphon asked.
Starscream was puzzled and said, "I don't think so. Have we met before?" he asked.
"It was only a few centuries ago." Jetfire replied. "When you destroyed my brother… SKYFIRE." he revealed, transforming into Robot Mode right in front of him.
Starscream was shook up with fright as he saw this. "That color scheme! The Autobot symbol! That visor! It can't be… JETFIRE!?" he gasped.
"That's right…been too long, Starscream!" Jetfire stated to him. "Three centuries, to be exact. But who's complaining?"
"So you're still alive after all these years!" Starscream was baffled.
Jetfire then said, "Yeah! I was one of the Autobots who retired after the Great War. But, retirement was getting too boring, so to speak." he added.
Starscream was confused, "So your Spark was placed in a Blank Protoform?" he wondered.
The Autobot Veteran nodded. "Yes. My Stasis Pod scanned a bald eagle, and a Masai lion to create my gryphon alt-mode." he revealed. "And it was thanks to Steven's Crystal Gem energy that I was given the same kind of powers he and his comrades have."
Starscream and the other Predacons all looked at each other with a dumbfounded look on their collective faces.
"You were saying?" Optimus asked Starscream.
However, the Decepticon and his temp subordinates all huddled together to go over the details. And after they discussed it, they accepted. "Very well, I'll allow only you, the raptor, Pink Diamond's son and my old rival to use the C.R Chambers. " Starscream said, being fair. "But the rest of you shall wait out here." he added.
"Alright." said Steven, staying calm.
"Lesson one: always show compassion." Starscream whispered to the others. "It's a useful cover for your true motives."
Inside the Maximal Base, Optimus and Steven help Dinobot inside the C.R. Chamber to be repaired.
"Thank you." said Dinobot, in a reluctant way.
"Good! Now you reap the appropriate reward for your trust and good faith." Starscream said, before he turned over to Scorponok. "Disarm them and restrain them into the hold, or something."
Optimus, Steven and Jetfire turned around, and saw Scorponok. "Hands where I can see 'em!" Scorponok bellowed.
They were forced to comply with this and were escorted into the Hold.
Back outside the Maximal Base, the others were awaiting the response from anyone in there.
"Attention, losers!" Starscream said, with a devious smirk on his face. "The Raptor, The Ape, The Griffin and Pink Diamond's son are all my prisoners." he added, making them all gasp. "They will be destroyed unless you carry out my commands!"
The other Maximals and Crystal Gems were all shocked, and angry hearing Garnet snarled. "You damned weasel!"
Cheetor was livid as well. "YOU SONOFABITCH! I'll break your ugly face, and string you up by your damned entrails!" he bellowed, wanting to beat Starscream within an inch of his life.
"I wouldn't count on that, feline." Jasper smirked, "We're in control now!"
"That's right, and with them out of the way," Blackarachnia added. "No one will stop us from turning this ball of dirt into our fortress!"
"Yesssssssss, none sssshall sssssstand in our way!" DarkFanger hissed.
"Ugh…. should have seen this coming!" Pearl cursed herself.
Bismuth cracked her knuckles, "Lousy creepozoids!"
"We had an agreement, Starscream." Tigatron said, furious that Starscream didn't keep his word.
"And now we have another one." Starscream said, with a devilish smile on his face. "If you wish to save the lives of your friends… you will all attack the Predacon Base."
The other Maximals and Crystal Gems were stunned to hear that.
"SAY WHAT!?" Amethyst asked.
"The Pred Base?" Airazor gasped.
"What the hell is this?" Lapis groused.
Scorponok smirked, and added "It's called treachery, and we like it."
Starscream agreed with him, "Indeed!" he said, as the two of them roared with laughter.
Peridot was uneasy about this. But then, "You're nothing but a schemin' snake-in-the-grass!" Rattrap snapped, absolutely aggravated. "Just like all the other Preds!" he barked again.
"Flattery will get you flattened, vermin." Starscream said, with a sneer. "OBEY ME! Or your friends will all perish."
The other Maximals and Crystal Gems looked at each other with concern.
Pearl gulped. "Should we do it?" she asked, worried.
"We don't have a choice." Rhinox said, showing some concern.
Garnet, Rhinox and the rest of the Maximals and Crystal Gems went to the location where Starscream ordered them to go.
Meanwhile, inside the hold of the Maximal Base, Optimus, Steven and Jetfire are all gathered in a room that was private. They grunted with exertion as they were fastened to the wall.
"So this is what it comes down to?" Optimus growled, frustrated.
"Unbelievable! " Steven groaned, facepalming mentally. "We've been backstabbed, shackled and caged like prisoners."
"Yeah, that wanker Starscream, he's always been like that, given that he's a duplicitous, larcenous weasel." Jetfire ranted. "Fortunately for us, I've been one step ahead of him before."
Jetfire began tapping into his Crystal Gem powers and channeled it to his very being and used them to break out of his shackles as well as Steven and Optimus.
"Wow!" Steven said, as he was happy. "Great work, Jetfire!"
"Yes, your Crystal Gem abilities have really come to save the day." Optimus said, smiling.
Jetfire smiled, and bowed in respect. "Happy to help, sir," he said. "Now, it's time for payback!" he declared.
"You said it!" Optimus said, as he got ready. "Optimus Primal….MAXIMIZE!" He transformed into Robot Mode and got ready to do some justice.
Over inside the Maximal Base Bridge, Starscream and the other four Predacons survey the view-screen, locating the Predacon Base. It shows Rhinox, Tigatron, Airazor, Lapis, Bismuth, Pearl and Garnet all looking around to see if any traps were on the ground, so far there were none. The Maximals all transformed, while the Crystal Gems ready their weapons, and they all begin firing away at the Predacon Base.
"Lesson Two: they're always more gullible than you hoped." Starscream said, with a smirk.
"Lesson Three: Disregard lessons one and two!" Optimus exclaimed, as Starscream had a look on his face that read: 'Oh crud!' on it.
"Ohhhh, shoot my monkey!" said Starscream with a gulp, as his eyes widened with alarm.

Jetfire then aimed his sword at his old rival, "Time we settled some unfinished business, you rummy blighter!"
"It won't matter, you three are no match for the five of us." Starscream said, with a cocky smirk on his face.
"How about we up the ante?" Steven said, with a smug grin on his face. Blasting open the C. , bursting open as Dinobot transforms.

"MAXIMIZE!" Dinobot bellowed, as he converted into Robot Mode, weapons drawn and his eyes glowing green with fury.
"Very impressive, Optimus Primal." said Starscream, as he then snapped his fingers. "But I still have my wits about me…And my superior speed! Predacons, to arms!" and with that, Blackarachnia, Scorponok, Jasper and DarkFanger all drew their weapons ready to fight them.
"I wouldn't count on that." said Jetfire, as he activated his Crystal Gem armor and got ready to fight. With ease, Jetfire, Steven, Dinobot and Optimus duke it out with Jasper, Scorponok, DarkFanger and Blackarachnia while Jetfire was still focusing on Starscream.
As this went, Blackarachnia fired at Steven, but he deflected. "How's that for a deflection!?"
"Time for 'round 2', as they say." said Jetfire.
Starscream scowled at the group. "This isn't over! Not by a damned long-shot!" He takes off flying at top speed, abandoning his teammates in the progress. Blackarachnia groused and huffed as Starscream abandoned her and the others.
"Optimus to Rhinox… Come in!" Optimus said into his communicator, only to receive static
"Garnet… this is Steven, do you read?" Steven said to his communicator, only to end up with the same end-result as Optimus. "There's too much interference, Optimus!"
"We've gotta get closer, PRIMEJETS ON!" Optimus shouts, as he bolts off into the sky.
"Let's get moving, Steven!" Jetfire said, transforming into beast mode. Steven hops on his back, as they take off with Optimus.
Meanwhile outside the Predacon Base, Amethyst, Cheetor, Peridot and Rattrap are quietly crawling towards the Predacon base, without setting off an alarm. However, as they snuck about, all of a sudden, the floodlights came bursting on with the Predacon auto-guns trained on them.
*DROOOOOOOTT DROOOOOOOTT DROOOOOOOTT DROOOOOOOTT* The alarm went off anyway, because one of the Predacons inside activated it on purpose.
"RUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNN!" Peridot yelped, as they made a run for it.
"YOWRRRRRRR!" went Cheetor, yowling in alarm like a house-cat that ended up getting its tail stepped on by accident. And then
As the other Maximals and Crystal Gems continue to fire at the Predacon Base, Garnet can see Amethyst, Cheetor, Peridot and Rattrap all running for their lives and ducked behind the rocks in the area to keep away from the fire storm.
"They know we're here!" Garnet called out.
"This is suicide, we've gotta fall back." Rhinox said.
"Everybody, fall back!" Pearl exclaimed.
The Maximals and Crystal Gems all made a break for it.
"NO! ATTACK! THAT'S AN ORDER!" Starscream shouted.
"ARE YOU HIGH ON SUGAR OR SOMETHING!?" Cheetor exclaimed. "We could get creamed out there!"
Starscream shot back, "SILENCE! I AM YOUR SUPERIOR!"
At that moment, Optimus, Steven and Jetfire arrived, "NO! YOU ARE NOT!" shouted Steven, as he was enraged.
"I have to tell you, Starscream… you're giving space-debris a bad name!" Optimus said, as he aimed his weapons at him.
Steven agreed with the head honcho of the Maximals. "Seriously, you're just as bad as all the other criminals I've seen!" he remarked.
"Dammit, Primal! You two are really IRRITATING me!" Starscream snapped, frustrated by this.
Garnet was relieved to see this, "You two made it!" she said to the three of them.
"Alright, Big Bot!" Cheetor said, with an elated smile.
"Thank goodness!" Pearl wiped her forehead.
"I'd say it's trampling time!" Rhinox said, as he whipped out his dual chainguns.
"Hell Yeah… time to kick some Predacon booty." Amethyst replied, grinning as she pulled out her whip.
"You've read my mind!" Rattrap said to Amethyst, as they actually agreed on something.
"NO!" Jetfire shouted to them. "Leave Starscream to me… HE'S MINE!"

"Let's settle this once and for all!" said Starscream.
"I've been waiting for this for a very long time, Starscream!" Jetfire declared, pointing his sword at the Decepticon. "This is my revenge for my brother, Skyfire, as well as for all of my Autobot comrades, and everyone in the history of Cybertron. Seaspray, Ratchet, Prowl, Brawn, Wheeljack, Ironhide, Bluestreak, Mirage, and most of all, Optimus Prime."
"You will soon be joining them in the Matrix, Jetfire." Starscream shot back.
"I think not, I'll make sure you are exiled from the Allspark for all eternity!" Jetfire charged at him as they crossed swords in what seemed to be a duel.
With words being said, the two bitter rivals were now in an intense sword duel, sparks flying as their swords connected. And as they did so, Optimus and Steven landed perfectly on the ground, meeting with the others. "Glad we can make it." said Optimus.
The Maximals and Crystal Gems began aiming their weaponry at the auto guns of the Darksyde. And they saw that Aquamarine, Eyeball Ruby, Spinitor, Terrorsaur and Tarantulas were outside the base.
Megatron watches the fight outside and sees that Starscream is in a duel with Jetfire, who does a barrel roll to evade the Decepticon's shots. Starscream then cartwheeled out of the way of Jetfire's gun. "Starscream, that backstabbing Scrap-bag… I'll have his treacherous hide… Yessssssss… I'll melt him down and use him for aluminum sliding… I'll have his head over my mantle! Ohhhhh Yeeeessssssssss, indeed!" he raged at this.
The battle continues to escalate as Jetfire hurls Starscream backwards towards the ground, plowing a furrow with his shoulders. "Had enough yet, screamer!?" said Jetfire, as he wanted to know.
Starscream scowled. "As if! Your brother put up more of a fight!" he said, tauntingly. He wasn't done yet, as Jetfire swooped down towards him, anger rising in him at the mention of Skyfire. The Deception then fired at him, Jetfire veered to the left, the right and then the left again.
What Starscream didn't know was that Blackarachnia, Scorponok, DarkFanger and Jasper were secretly following him. Jetfire was still standing, and saw that both of them each had their weapons trained on each other.
"Jetfire, my old friend… We've had our history… I know that I scrapped your brother…" Starscream said, leaving him puzzled. "But let's be reasonable… please? Surely we can work something out…"
Jetfire wasn't budging while still in thought, "What, are you seriously trying to con me? Well, it won't work, you bloody piece of crap!"
"Blackarachnia… Scorponok… DarkFanger… Jasper… what are you all waiting for?" Starscream demanded to know. "Destroy him, and we can still triumph… together!"
"I'm afraid there's been a change of plans," said Jasper.
"Do you really think we would betray Lord Megatron?" Scorponok said, sneering at the Decepticon air commander.
"Esssssssspecially sssssince you hung usssss out to dry!?" DarkFanger hissed.
"I don't think so, jerk-dish!" Blackarachnia said, scowling. "Are all your dreams in technicolor?" She added as she pointed her gun at him, and aimed it at the ground near his feet.
The impact impales Starscream right where he stood and then he realizes that something is there. "ENERGON!" he yelled, spotting a shard of raw Energon, causing the Maximals to scatter away as the crystal begins to pulse. "You betrayed me!"
"It hurts when your own game is thrown back in your face… Doesn't it?" Blackarachnia said, as she revealed. "Learned it from the master."
The Maximals and Crystal Gems were all stunned by the recent action of the Predacons as they made their way back to their hideaway.
"This is for my brother." Jetfire aims his Crystal spear at him, "And for my Autobot Comrades! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" he roared.
"Dasvidaniya, Starscream." said Optimus, telling the Decepticon air-commander 'goodbye' in Russian.
Steven was quite impressed by how Optimus spoke in Russian. "Hasta la vista, Starscream!" he added.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Starscream yelled, as he blubbered out of control. Just then, the whole ground explodes beneath him, and sends his Spark out of Waspinator's body.
Later that night, inside the Predacon Base, we see the Predacons all getting the lowdown from what happened. Tarantulas and some of the other Predacons have put Waspinator's body back together
"Ohhhhh, Wazzzzpinator haszzz a headache in hizzzzz whole body!" Waspinator bemoaned, as he was put back together.
Tarantulas then said, "Let it go, Waspinator."
Meanwhile, Blackarachnia was explaining the whole thing to Megatron, Terrorsaur, Inferno, Flamenix, Bluebird Azurite and Spinitor.
"It was the only way." Blackarachnia said. "I had to play along with Starscream's duplicitous nature, and when the time came, I uncovered his true intentions."
"You're smooth, Blackarachnia… very smooth." Megatron mused at this. "Though I will think twice before I ever trust another Predacon ancestor… Ohhhhh Yessssssss!"
"That was brilliant!" said Jasper, as she was impressed.
Meanwhile over at the Axalon. The Maximals and Crystal Gems were fixing the hole in the hull of the ship, and they were doing good so far, it was slightly overcast today, no thunder clouds, but just rain clouds were rolling in. So they decided to make repairs.
"Alright, so far so good." Optimus said, as he helped with the repairs. "How's the perimeter looking so far, Jetfire?"
"Not a single intruder in sight, sir!" Jetfire said, giving the good news.
"The weather conditions are steady rain this time." Garnet added, making them all breathe a sigh of relief.
"Thank goodness." Steven wiped his forehead with both hands. "At least now we don't have to worry about any more Decepticons."
"That's true." Rhinox said, with a small smile.
"Talk about trouble with neighbors, eh?" Amethyst said. "They made one Hell of a mess."
"You've said it," Rattrap said, as he and Dinobot made sure the fittings were securely welded. "Invite them in and look what happens… ah well, who am I to complain?"
Pearl chuckled at that. "Hehehehehe, good one Rattrap." she said.
Cheetor nodded, "Yeah. That's true."
"Yeah, and I gotta admit, things should be calm around here now that Starscream is gone." Steven said, as he and Optimus saw Jetfire looking up at the sky.
"Jetfire, are you going to help with the cleanup?" Optimus asked, as he wanted to know.
Looking down at them, Jetfire replied. "I will, mates! I'm only mourning the loss of all my comrades from the Great War." he said.
"We know how you feel, Jetfire." Steven said, as he smiled at Steven. "It must feel good that you've finally ended Starscream, and got justice for your brother," he added.
"Yes. Now, Skyfire can finally rest in peace." Jetfire stated. "Along with Seaspray, Ratchet, Prowl, Brawn, Wheeljack, Ironhide, Bluestreak, Mirage, Bumblebee, and the original Optimus Prime."
Optimus said, "I'm sure they're all looking on from the Matrix and the Allspark, saying thank you…"
"I don't think we'll be seeing Starscream back," Jetfire said, with a hopeful smile on his face. "Not for a loooooooooooong time."
While in space, Starscream's Spark was floating about.
"I'll be back… Even if it takes me another thousand years…" Starscream said, in his mind "I'll seek revenge on you all…"
As his spark floats on, The Shadow Empire ship intercepts him in a tractor beam, freezing him in a way. "Well, it seems that Starscream has been defeated," Black Diamond said, noticing the spark. "Soldier, lock the target on that Spark and retrieve it."
"Yes, my lord!" The soldier then began moving the controls and steadily brought the Spark into the ship.
Black Diamond snickered sinisterly. "The Predacons might've rejected this traitor, but I shall put Starscream to good use… MAWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Me: So, Ghost, you wanna tell the readers about the next chapter?
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Oh yes, the next chapter will be based on another one of our favorite Beast Wars: Transformers episodes entitled "The Low Road". Except this will be different, as it will focus on the conflict between Amethyst, Dinobot and Rattrap.
PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47: Oh damn!
Me: Ah yeah, I remember that one.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: During one afternoon when Amethyst, Dinobot and Rattrap are doing some chore outside, they end up getting into another dispute. When the Predacons make another attack on the Maximals and Crystal Gems, Tarantulas uses the opportunity to use his newest creation, an Energon Discharge Virus.
PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47: Oh jeez!
Me: This is going to be a headache for Cheetor since he has to listen to those three bickering and he complains.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Yeah, there's that. Now the Maximals and Crystal Gems are in a race against time to get a counter-virus to save Rhinox before it destroys him.
PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47: Oh damn. From what I've heard, the Energon Discharge Virus involves the afflicted victim expelling their internal Energon in the form of VIOLENT sneezes until they're completely drained. It's almost like a mixture between Khumbu Cough and influenza.
Me: You're telling me. Please, go on.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: So now it's up to Steven, Amethyst, Dinobot and Rattrap to retrieve the counter-virus from Tarantulas.
PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47: I'm keepin' my fingers crossed so they can save Rhinox before he ends up croaking.
Me: Me too. And in the meantime, I'm going to see if Mr. Fawcett needs any leaves raked and such while I also improve Masked Rider Vamp-R a little more.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Unfortunately the tensions between Amethyst, Dinobot and Rattrap end up exploding, and it becomes a HUGE pain in Steven's back… To make matters worse, Tarantulas ends up sending the four of them through underground tunnels that Tarantulas made himself, and they're underneath the oceans. So it could eventually cause the tunnels to cave in, but only if either Amethyst, Dinobot or Rattrap make it happen.
PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47: Yeah.
Me: Hmm, not sure how that's going to pan out, but I'm sure they will find a way out.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: They should be, hopefully Amethyst, Dinobot and Rattrap don't drive Steven to his angry point…
PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47: Oh damn.
Me: We don't want that. He could go ballistic if that were to happen.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: But one good thing is one of our favorite Crystal Gem fusions will be debuting in the next chapter… They call her: SMOKEY QUARTZ!
PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47: ACES!
Me: OH WOW! WHOOP, WHOOP, WHOOP! Yehah!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: You better believe it, Smokey Quartz totally has big plans for the Predacons when they come face-to-face with them… But they still must focus on getting the counter-virus.
PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47: Yeah.
