Chapter 6

Cinder's Final Stand

"Oh, please, Kirito. Do you honestly believe that you can kill me? You are just as idiotic as Sora is," cackled Cinder.

But Kirito had heard enough, and he too entered a new divine form that was very much like Sora's Divine Harmony form. This time, it was his Divine Swordmaster form, turning him into a more powerful version of what he was during his adventures on his home world, complete with the same coat he wore in Sword Art Online, the Coat of Midnight. However, his eyes were golden yellow, and he now had a pair of black fairy wings that appeared on his back, while he gained two new Keyblade from this new form. The Maiden of Hellfire jumped back in shock, as she tried to comprehend this new form of Kirito's, but her fear had gotten the better of her once more.

"That's right, Cinder. I also gained a divine form of my own. This is Divine Swordsman, and that also means I have the power of a god just like Sora does, but it was mostly because I finally found my closure with Sachi and many other people who were trapped in that hellzone, Sword Art Online. And thanks to that, you will suffer for hurting my friend Sora." he said.

He quickly turned to Asuna and Yui.

"Watch over him until his strength has been restored to maximum!" called Kirito.

"Understood," they replied, and did exactly as they were told.

Cinder tried to blast him, but Kirito used both his Gigas Cedar and Blue Rose Keyblades to deflect the blasts, until he was completely shrouded in a dust cloud. However, the Dark Knight of Aincrad cast Aeroga, pushing it back, as well as making Cinder even more afraid.

"The one thing that you should actually know about me is… while I may have the same personality quirks as the other Trunks, the one that killed Frieza, I too can never forgive you for all the things that you did. I'll beat you to the ground until you fully accept that the Warriors of Light are not to be trifled with," he said angrily.

"Ha-ha. Your threats are just as empty as your title, Kirito. You may be the Dark Knight of Aincrad, but you are nothing more than just a weak little boy who always cries for his real parents who are gone," Cinder remarked darkly.

"You'll regret saying that to me, you fool," Kirito shot back at her, and he began to attack her viciously without giving Cinder a chance to fight back.

The brutal onslaught that KIrito had unleashed had made Cinder revert to her previous form, thanks to his new attack, Divine Starburst Stream, and she was now truly afraid that her shadow form had now been completely drained. Even as she tried to get back up, she stumbled and dropped to the ground, much to the Dark Knight's amusement.

"No, this can't be real! This is not the way this has to end!" she cried, and began punching the ground in disgust.

"Yeah, well maybe you should've learned about facing death with real honor, Cinder. And if you ever dream about coming back from the dead again, then we will be forced to kill you again, until we grow sick and tired of this pointless cycle repeating itself all over again," Kirito remarked, as he stood back.

"Kirito," Rei murmured.

"Yeah, who knew that this guy was truly at his most powerful after attaining his Divine Swordsman Drive form?" replied Axel.

"You can thank the intense training regime Whis put him and Sora through. Had it not been for him, as well as the fact that Trunks' counterpart gave him the Saiyan Soul Drive, then he'd most certainly never have the drive to both improve and grow stronger. And yes, even I trained just as hard as he did, and the rest of you did the same. Even Yui has also been mastering her own soul drives, thanks to the friends she's made on our adventures together, all because of the bonds we share with not just Usagi, Mamoru, and Chibiusa, but because of many more people who also share in our characteristics. Even Leafa has also come to terms that while Sora may remind her of her cousin, even though her mother and father took him in and raised him like their own son, following the tragic loss of his mother and father, she's accepted the fact that she really does love him immensely, just like how all of us both love and respect the Keyblade Master among Keyblade Masters," explained Asuna.

But even as he spoke, Sora was struck by a vision of Cinder destroying the entire realm of light, including Kingdom Hearts itself. He recoiled in shock.

"No. I won't let Cinder doom everything to oblivion. I will not allow it to happen ever!" he cried, and rushed back to Kirito.

As he did, Cinder grinned wickedly.

"Then let us all die together, Kirito," she said.

"WE ARE NOT DYING TOGETHER, CINDER!" shouted Sora, who came rushing back to the battle.

"My turn may have been short, Cinder, but although I've softened you up with my Divine Starburst Stream, this fight is actually for Sora to finish. So we can consider ourselves truly even now," he said, and he jumped back to Asuna and Yui's side.

Sora unleashed a burst of light from his Keyblade, as he felt new strength welling up within him. Cinder jumped back, dodging the blast, then glared angrily at her hated enemy.

"Damn you, Sora!" she snapped.

But Sora didn't listen. He changed into his True Divine Lucian Harmony form with a loud roar, his greatest and most powerful form of all, shocking the evil woman even further.

"This stops now, Cinder! But Kirito was right. This is my fight, and I will see it through with my own hands. Your deceit and trickery must end here and now, because of how my hatred for you truly began!" he said, as his voice started to echo everywhere.

Impossible! How was Sora able to figure out what I was planning to do!? Cinder thought.

She foamed, ranted, raved, swore, and even cursed loudly as her darkness returned, and was now both its puppet, as well as Jenova's, due to her blood flowing through her veins.

"SINCE YOU HAVE GOTTEN IN MY WAY FOR THE LAST TIME, SORA, THERE IS NO PLACE FOR YOU AND I TO BE IN THE SAME UNIVERSE TOGETHER, UNTIL I TURN IT INTO NOTHING BUT A MEMORY, ALONG WITH KINGDOM HEARTS ITSELF!" screamed Cinder, her eyes now fully transformed into golden cat-like irises.

"Then there's no point in doubting it any longer. You really are pure evil like Frieza was, just as I suspected, Cinder! That means… you're already a dead woman," Sora replied.

"So, you finally see the truth, Sora. Then you know that I must end it all, and make Kingdom Hearts go supernova with you and everyone caught in the blast radius!" she said angrily, as the darkness had now taken complete control of her.

"No, Cinder. That will never happen on mine, Sailor Moon, Ruby, or anyone else's watch! After all, you are the one who will die by my hands! Not the other way 'round!" he shot back at her, and the final round was on.

(This is it, everybody. The final battle with the now Dark-Empowered Shadow Cinder, as she truly has allowed all the darkness in her heart to take complete control of her, just like it did in the Battle of Vacuo. Go and Play Break Through it All from Sonic Frontiers for the final round)

But despite being beaten back yet again, Cinder's darkness had now taken complete control of her entire being.

"Now that I am a true incarnation of darkness, I embody everything that you hate about Cinder," she said, despite sounding nothing like herself.

"Hmph… So you have, but now that you've turned into a puppet of both Sephiroth, Jenova, and the darkness in your blackened heart, it'st ime to finish this… once and for all," remarked Sora.

(The true finale begins, so go and play a mix of Bury the Light with Devil Trigger for the true climactic final clash between Sora and Cinder as the embodiment of all Seven Deadly Sins that were once part of the Lost Masters of old)

They both charged at each other one last time. Sora in his True Divine Lucian Harmony form, and Cinder Fall now fully transformed into Cinder Black. For better or for worse, this would be the beginning of the end of their burning hatred for each other.

"This is the end, Cinder!" Sora cried out, and he unleashed a beam of pure divine light against his hated enemy

At long last, Cinder was finally no more once again, as she unleashed one final death cry, symbolizing her second death at the hands of her sworn enemy, and faded away into nothing but dust and ashes. Sora could at last breathe a sigh of relief, and he flew down back to both his friends and family who were all proud of him for stopping Cinder yet again. The shuttles were also destroyed, and the Kujata, which was in orbit, also turned into debris that was reduced to nothing but dust and ashes. Sephiroth, although disappointed, was not fazed by Aiden and Cinder's death, as he turned and slowly walked away.

"Hmph… Once again, Cinder's pride and hubris got the better of her, just as it did with Frieza. Even Aiden bit the dust, but I still have more children left, so until then I should be ready for what will come next," he said, and he disappeared.

"Well now. It seems that I'm actually rather surprised by your actions, Sora. You've managed to unravel Cinder Fall, and destroyed her for good. You truly have the same fighting spirit that all Saiyans have deep within your heart, Sora. Therefore, you've earned my respect for the moment," Vegeta praised, despite not wanting to admit it.

"Yeah, well, I just had a vision, thanks to my other powers Hyena awoke in my heart," replied Sora.

"Even so, I just can't believe that Cinder would turn out to be just like that foolish Frieza after all, just as Sephiroth said," sighed Goku.

"But what I don't understand is… how did you know that Cinder was gonna kill us all?" asked Gohan.

Sora explained everything to him and the others about what happened before, and the others slowly began to understand it fully, all except for Vegeta who was told to not let his pride and hubris become the catalyst of his third demise.

"This is actually a surprise. I never thought that Sora would actually kill Cinder a second time, even after he explained about his other powers giving him that vision when I saw his eyes turn red for a brief second," admitted Beerus.

"I know what you mean, Sora. Also, if you ever feel like meeting up with me later, you can drop by at Mount Paozu anytime," said Goten.

"You bet, Goten," grinned the Keyblade Master.

"Also, if you like, I believe ask the Omni King if you can let him give you some extremely intensive training to fully master both your powers, as well as the power of True Divine Lucian Harmony, since you do have a different kind of blood flowing through your veins. The likes of which I've never seen before," said Whis.

But soon all of the girls who loved Sora all flocked to his side and kissed his face all over, which of course nearly made Vegeta puke his guts out.

"Stupid harem king," he grunted.

"Hey! I heard that, Vegeta! And don't ever call Sora something like that again!" barked Issei, who also came to his side.

"DON"T TALK BACK TO ME, YOU PERVERTED SCUMBAG! YOU KNOW THAT I WILL KILL YOU IN A HEARTBEAT IF YOU DARE TRY THAT AGAIN, OR IF YOU ATTEMPT TO LAY A FINGER ON MY BULMA!" yelled the prince.

"Enough! If you kill Issei, then you will have to answer to me, Vegeta. And trust me, because I will send you to oblivion myself if need be," warned Rias.

"Hold on, Rias! I should be the one to set Vegeta straight. Not you, alright?" interjected Bulma.

"Yeah, just cool it already, Rias. And trust me, because we all know how much Sora still respects and acknowledges your mother, Lady Venelana, but we also respect him for saving Issei from Fenrir's jaws and beat him back during our battle with Loki who's imprisoned in the void," added Akeno.

"God, your existence bores me to death enough as it is. Maybe I should find a more suitable punching bag in Akeno's- DAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

Akeno had blasted Vegeta with her thunder magic to teach him a lesson about harming Kenton for no good reason, which of course surprised Trunks.

"I'm sorry, Miss Akeno," he sighed quietly.

"No, don't apologize, Trunks. You're a good friend, and that's more than enough," she assured him, even as Vegeta lay on the ground groaning in agony.

Luckily, Asia was able to heal him.

"Wait, why did you heal me, and what's the main reason for not bashing your face, Asia?" he asked sharply.

"Because if you so much as lay a finger on me in front of Issei, you won't be getting up again. Because I'm what you'd call Rias' white mage. And if you so much as mess with the White Mage, then you'll face the wrath of the Black Mage," she warned the Saiyan Prince.

Vegeta stormed away, mumbling and muttering to himself at being put in his place once again by the ex-nun.

"Just for the record, guys, I'm just glad I didn't have kids with Vegeta. 'Nuff said," said Xenovia.

With the battle with Cinder at an end, Sora looked up at the sky as the sun slowly began to set, just after everyone returned to their home worlds. However, he grew sad again.

"Well, looks like it's over," sighed Cody.

"It certainly does, Cody," replied Ami.

"...No," Sora argued quietly.

"What do you mean?" wondered Ruby.

"I think I know the reason why he's sad, Ruby. Right after Cinder came back to life thanks to the Dragon Balls, she was actually too focused on Sora, instead of the rest of us. But she did say that we would share in his fate after he died by her hands. And now, Aiden Fall has died as well, thanks to Kirito saving Silica from being killed by him, which in turn led to her being taken over by both the darkness and Jenova's will," explained Blake.

"That's right. And now that he's gone, I factually feel sad that he's dead," he replied.

"Yeah… just like how my father died by Ironwood's hands after he fell too far into darkness and became senile, and hostile to everybody, that he'd even go so far as to kill his own soldiers for disobeying him, speaking out of turn, or questioning his orders," added Weiss.

"After seeing that Cinder was far too focused on revenge, it corrupted her and the darkness in her heart took control of her body, turning her into Dark-Empowered Shadow Cinder. It was just like when Chaos and Vanitas merged together… and led to the birth of Chaos Vanitas, the Demi-God of Darkness and Discord. He may have served Omega, after he awoke within Sailor Galaxia. I just want to make sure that we never ever have to fight Cinder again, because I don't want to fight her to the death a third time. Not now, and most certainly not ever. It's time I let go of her memory. But now that she's dead again, I get the feeling that Sephiroth didn't actually plan her death again. She fell into darkness of her own volition, and let it turn her into its puppet once more. Due to what I can say you guys, I just hope that the next time we face another enemy who's pure evil like Cinder and Frieza, I want to find a way of working together, and to ensure that our bonds are strengthened even further, until that one moment in the Ever After, the Curious Cat decided that since he could not make Ruby its vessel, it decided to make me be the vessel, since I have so many connections to a lot of other worlds, and all the people living on them. But after I defeated Alyx's murderer, it made me realize that the Curious Cat became too much like Simba's heartless uncle, Scar. I may have hated him for how he killed his brother Mufasa, but this was a fight that only Simba had to win, until his rage, hatred, and envy transformed him into a puppet of darkness. Also, I just hope that King Yemma seals Cinder away in the deepest darkest pits of Hell, even though I'm sad that I killed her again, just like how Blake was after Adam died," explained Sora.

But Yumi gently walked up to Sora and took his hand in her own.

"It's gonna be okay, Sora. I know that even though someone may be pure evil, that doesn't mean that we have the right to just automatically kill them. You stopped me and Fubuki from killing each other when our sibling rivalry was about to go too far, just like with both Dante and Vergil," she said to him.

"And even after you died, your guardian lights refused to let your soul return to Kingdom Hearts to be at peace, all because you refused to let it continue," added Asuka.

"And you helped me realize that even though Panther Claw was pure evil, and took my father's life, you also saved me from my hatred and vengeance, even after Nat perished by Sephiroth's hands," said Honey.

The others also spoke of the things that they had been saved from, which made Sora realize that his actions had saved them all from the darkness, rather than doomed them into that abyss. But in the deepest darkest pit of Hell, Cinder was now being serenaded by the same magical creatures that were dancing about the tree she was attached to in the cocoon, and she screamed in fury at being dead again. But the last thing she soon learned was that she was now well and truly stuck in that abyss for good, and would never again be revived by the Dragon Balls any longer.
