"Anya, stay in contact with Mission Command on Earth... Relay all my findings back to them..."
"Of course... And, Good Luck, Emil" the AI replied.
"Thanks! I'll take all I can..."
The capsule/lander soon separated from the main mother-ship section. The lander was able to send the
top half back to Mars orbit, but with no fuel in the main section tanks, a return to orbit was moot at best...
"Anya, rămâi în contact cu Comandamentul Misiunii pe Pământ... Transmiteți-le toate descoperirile mele..."
"Desigur... Și, noroc, Emil", a răspuns AI.
"Mulțumesc! Voi lua tot ce pot..."
Capsula/landerul s-a separat curând de secțiunea principală a navei-mamă. Landerul a fost capabil să trimită jumătatea superioară
înapoi pe orbita lui Marte, dar fără combustibil în rezervoarele secțiunii principale, o revenire pe orbită a fost în cel mai bun caz discutabilă.

The landing approach was made on fully automated program.
"Old Neil had to do it all manually... I'm a lucky duck for sure!" said Emil, for posterity.
Abordarea de aterizare a fost făcută pe un program complet automatizat.
"Bătrânul Neil a trebuit să facă totul manual... Sunt o rață norocoasă, cu siguranță!", a spus Emil, pentru posteritate.

Emil had taken the liberty of naming the lander himself. His mother had some Native American on her side,
and he wanted to pay tribute to that part of his heritage. Of course, it would be 7 or more minutes until Earth heard his words...
"Mars Mission Command: Vulturul de argint a aterizat!"
Emil își luase libertatea de a numi el însuși landerul. Mama lui avea de partea ei un nativ american, iar el a vrut
să aducă un omagiu acelei părți a moștenirii sale. Desigur, vor trece 7 sau mai multe minute până când Pământul îi va auzi cuvintele.
