Looking back, compared to my Chameleon story, some things have improved but I am way less detailed. I will be working on that.

This chapter is way longer than what I have been pumping out. I am proud of that.

I love Hanabi.

Eagerly, Mika walked into the academy, head held high, happy to bestow wisdom to those coming after him into the world of shinobi. With pride in his heart, he stepped towards Iruka's classroom and knocked on the door. Sliding it open, he saw the man smile at him.

"Ah, we were expecting you." The man said. Nodding, Mika slid into the room. "Everyone, welcome Mika. A clanless shinobi that managed to rise to be Chunin after only a few months and according to Lady Tsuande helped save her life from a High A rank ninja with the help of another chunin, Hinata Hyuuga." The entire class looked on in awe, especially a little girl that resembled Hinata ever so slightly. "He is here to pass on some tips, tricks and answer some questions that may be burning in your heads about bettering your chances as a ninja."

The classroom of tiny academy brats exploded into curious chatter.

"How old are you, you look like a doll?"

"How are you so strong, you look like a sneeze would beat you?" That one irked him.

One stood out though... and it broke his heart. A girl, the one that looked like Hinata, stood. "How is Hinata so strong?" She almost screamed.

Mika turned to her, walking to her desk and kneeling. "Hinata is your sister, right Hanabi?" The girl nodded, almost in tears. "Hanabi, your sister was always strong. I love Hinata, more than anyone. I wish we could have more days of just chilling, and we will when things settle down." He took a deep breathe. "I won't tell you everything, but your father is a monster. He broke her with his cruelty, supressing her inner light and darkness so much she could not see her true self."

"Father said... said... he said that Hinata is one of the most gifted kunoichi he has ever seen, but just a few months she was a waste of space and unworthy of her title. When she moved out, after her chunin promotion, he started praising her. He said, she was more skilled than possibly even Neji, and he used to be the best of the best."

Mika grabbed her hand and she let him, gripping tightly. " Little sister, I am telling you, Hinata has always been skilled. We all react differently to abuse. Some shrink away, some rise in hate. Each of us is unlike the other. Hinata found her place with my help, I helped her heal, but it was always her in the end. Hinata talks about you, almost constantly, about how proud she is. You are going to become something amazing, and I will happily help you do so."

Hanabi had a wet look to her eyes. "How?"

"Well, I know you need to branch out, all Hyuugas need to really. Tell you what, come with me after class today and We'll work on your taijutsu and tactics. Sound fair?"

She threw herself into his arms. "Thank you!"

He kissed her temple. "I am happy to help. Now, some of you might be wondering who Hinata is. She is my partner, my sister in all but blood and a powerful kunoichi. She was slated to be nothing but with some help and encouragement she is the strongest of our year. Yes, stronger than me. Her raw power, genetics and training makes her a fierce warrior. We are both almost special jonin already, her with taijutsu and me with kenjutsu.

Which brings me to my next point, finding your ace. The academy is only designed to give you the basics. With some help, you can find more. I worked har,d got a tanto and some kenjutsu scrolls. I wish I had more time to work on it, but as it turned out, I have a real talent for kenjutsu. To the point that I am approaching Special Jonin after only a few months of training, with Kenjutsu as my focus." He pulled out his blade, a new blade he bought that morning since his old one was far too worn, especially after fighting that damned Kaguya and his steel bones. "I found a niche, and I worked at it. To be honest, and I have confirmation of this, I could best any of the academy senseis, and likely a few special jonin, though with high difficulty. With Hinata at my side, again I have confirmation, I could best about twenty of the special jonins in the village.

I am not saying this to boost my ego, these are facts. What I am saying is that you can come from nothing and rise to greatness. It takes time, effort and a real drive to greatness. I am saying you can be amazing, but you must prove yourself to yourself."

Hanabi beamed. "Hinata always wanted to be a medic, I heard she is working as a vet today... is that what you mean?"

He poked her nose, making her giggle. "That is exactly what I mean."

"I want to learn ninjutsu, to mix it into my style. All Hyuuga use the same style, I have wanted to break away for a year or so."

"Then that is what you will do. Screw your father." That made her giggle more. "Any other ideas?"

One boy stood up, shaking. "...I,.. My mom... She ... is a dancer. I like dancing, could I..." several rude kids laughed at him, making him flush.

Mika smiled. "Dance and Taijutsu have a long history, same with kenjutsu. Try mixing it together, finding the fluidity of dance in her movements."

The boy beamed. "I'll try!"

A girl stood this time. "I like plants, I work at my aunt's floral shop for pocket money.'

"Botany could be exceedingly useful for poisons and healing. A great tool. I actually am very well versed in that subject, through Hinata and my desire to learn both."

On and on this went, and Mika felt a sense of purpose and peace he just never had before. He realized, in that moment, something important. 'I guess I really, really like teaching... who knew?' Simple as that was, it left him smiling as he continued his lesson.

:::

Hanabi was excited, for the first time a while really. Walking with Mika at her side as they hurried to his training ground, eager to find real power in place of and in spite of her father's training.

However, they were at the training ground for maybe five seconds before Mika sighed. "What do you want?" He turned, scowling. Her father stepped out of the brush, and Hanabi shivered in terror. "Hiashi, can I help you?"

The man, her horrifying father, oddly, smiled. "I heard, from Hanabi's guard, that you wanted to train her personally. I wanted to, legally, give my permission. You did wonders with Hinata,... I believe you could really help Hanabi grow."

The world trembled, and Hanabi felt a brush of cold that made her father stumble back. "I will train her, but I swear if you hurt her like you hurt Hinata I will end you. I do not care if it gets me killed. I know abuse, what you did to your daughter should have you placed in the Blood Prison."

Hanabi could not believe her eyes. 'A mere chunin is making father sweat in fear!'

"You are as fierce as I imagined." Her father said. "I have not sensed such killer intent since Kushina... You are right." That stopped the killer intent. "I failed Hinata, I will not do that with Hanabi. I will learn from my failings." Then, her proud father, bowed to Mika, low and humble. "Help her, please!"

Mika sighed. "I get partially unofficial brother type custody. That includes taking her out to eat, having her chill with me and Hinata and yes, training,. Mental health is important, relaxation is vital. She needs hobbies. Hinata told me once that Hanabi has an eye for art, maybe get her an easel?"

The man nodded turning to Hanabi. "Would you like that?"

She nodded, beaming. "I loved drawing in our lessons."

"I am sorry for not noticing before... I will help."

Mika stepped forward. "Hanabi is my family, as much as Hinata. I will take care of her. However, I know you are rightfully protective. I am not your equal in power, so watch as I train her. Is that fair?"

"I can agree to that."

Mika moved then, grabbing Hanabi and literally tossing her towards the pond. She rolled, as per her training, and came up as Mika was there, fingers at her shoulder, pressing with enough force to send her flying back.

Hanabi gaped. "That was a Gentle Fist attack!"

"You think I learn nothing from sparring Hinata?" She frowned and moved, striking with perfect precision, flipping acrobatically over Mika's slow punch, only Mika turned and grabbed her hand, twisting her arm and kicking water into her eyes. The shock startled her enough to turn off her eyes, and give him the chance to poke her belly, with no chakra added. "I win, if that was a gentle poke, you'd be unconscious." She wanted to cry, but Mika was beaming. "Acrobatics added to the Gentle Fist, seriously impressive! Color me very happy. Now, you need a dual style, something to help balance out your style. Not everyone is beatable with that style. I fought a Kaguya, with bones attacks, that rendered your style useless. Gaara of the Desert, used a layer of sand on his body, which helped keep him protected from your style of attacks. Balance is the key ot all combat, you need to find yours."

"I will!" She vowed. "What's next?"

Mika's smirk was vile, evil and reminded her of the Shinigami. "How's your evasion?"

""'

Hiashi was a proud man, to his fault more often than not. This hurt him with His brother, Neji, Hinata... he would never allow it to screw up Hanabi. He had to make amends before he ruined her too. So he freely allowed Mika, who helped healed Hinata, to help Hanabi. It was already proving to be a good choice, his daughter looked happier than he remembered her being. The idea of her painting seemed to bring out pure joy in her sweet face.

The boy's style of teaching, which a tad brutish, was exceedingly effective. Already, in mere moments, Hanabi was adapting to his movements, and learning to do things he just never though to help her learn...

'Finally, I am making the right choice...finally... now, I just have to earn the forgiveness of my eldest...the one I hurt the most. Perhaps asking Mika might be a good idea.'

He would consider it more, after watching Hanabi smile for just a while longer...

Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.

This was a joyful chapter.

Love, your Ninja Overlord,

Mika.
