The next day after the whole encounter incident, Leonardo and Raphael are looking up from a building, patrolling the streets from up high.
Raphael: Hmm, it seems like a rather quiet day, doesn't it?
Leonardo: Yeah, but we must be on our guard at all times.
Raphael agrees and they continue searching until Raphael notices something from the corner of his eye. He sees a massive hole in the bank. Just then, another explosion happens.
Raphael: Shoot! There must be a robbery happening!
Leo: Alright Raphael, let's go!
And just like that, Leo and Raphael spring into action. They encounter several foots along the way. A foot with a sickle chain tries to go in on the attack against Raphael, he blocks it with his daggers and quickly counterattacks.
Suddenly, holes begin to pop up. Two roadkill Rodney's pop out of the ground and begin to go around them. Then one of them fires a laser. Leo blocks it with his swords and begins to run toward it, but the robot has thought ahead and throws out a metal wire which grabs Leo off guard.
Leo: Raphael! A little help here!
Raphael: I got you Leo!
Raphael quickly comes to his aid and cuts the rope, together, they both take down the Roadkill Rodney together.
Raphael: We're wasting time fighting these guys.
Leo: Let's go around the back. There might be a clue there.
Raphael agrees and the two turtles go to the backside of the building. Meanwhile, Cyclops and Wolverine arrive on the scene to look for the culprit. As they do, they find the destroyed remains of the foot soldiers.
Wolverine: Huh, whoever did this really caused a mess, didn't they?
As they are investigating the aftermath of the fight, Rocksteady bursts through the wall and confronts the mutant duo.
Rocksteady: Say your prayer, buddy boys!
Without hesitation, Rocksteady pulls out his AK-47 and starts shooting at Cyclops and Wolverine. Wolverine evades the bullets and tries to counter it with his claws, but Rocksteady hits him with the butt of his gun. Cyclops uses his lasers to knock the gun out of his hand. Angry, he pulls out his sledgehammer and switches to melee combat.
Meanwhile, Leo and Raphael are both in the bank searching for a lead on the criminal. Their search eventually leads them to a trail of money leading to the outside of the bank.
Raphael: Uh, Leo. I think we got a lead.
Leo: No kidding Raphael. We got to follow it. This could lead us to the perpetrator.
Leo and Raphael follow the trail of cold hard cash that leads them to the same park that they battled in last night. As they see the trail come to an end, they find Blob hoarding all the money and beginning to make his getaway. Raphael jumps at him with a flying hook kick to the face which knocks him down temporarily. Blob then gets up and speaks to the duo.
Blob: So they sent reptiles to come and get me? Don't make me laugh!
Raphael: we'll show you what reptiles can do!
Blob then picks up a wall and throws it at the duo. Leo slides under it and counters with his sword, causing Blob to fall to the ground, Raphael strikes again with another hook kick. Blob pulls out his mace and begins attacking until he hits Raphael and gets him in a chokehold. But just before he can do any damage, Leo returns the favor and knocks him down with a sweep kick. The two brothers turn to each other.
Leo: Finish him?
Raphael: Sure!
The two simultaneously wheel kick Blob in the face, defeating him. With their foe defeated, the two turtles flee the scene. Meanwhile, Wolverine and Cyclops are still battling Rocksteady at the bank.
Rocksteady: What's wrong? You scared of my sledgehammer?
Wolverine: Oh, You'll see, bub!
Rocksteady tries to hit Wolverine with his hammer, but he uses his claw to deflect Rocksteady's sledgehammer and counter with his other claw. The battle seems to be going back and forth until Wolverine is able to land a decisive blow on Rocksteady and take him down with his Adamantium Laser Blade.
After the fight, Cyclops and Wolverine inspect the scene and see part of a cloth. One red, one blue.
Cyclops: Could the perpetrator be wearing these colors?
Wolverine: Maybe so, let's go home and see if we can get a lead.
Both agree and go back to base.
