CHAPTER10: Matthew and Olivia: LITTLE. HEROES
The next morning being a Saturday Albert makes a suggestion, "Why don't we all go to the Lake and have a picnic and do a little fishing?"
Sylvia, her Pa and the 2 children agree as both Olivia and Matthew says, "We can fry up some chicken."
Sylvia replies, "I can make some rolls."
Albert as he looks over at the counter and sees leftover Apple Pie mentions, "And we have Apple Pie leftover from last night."
Hector asks, "Albert do you and the family want to fly to the Lake or go in the wagon with me?"
Albert answers, "Father in law, we will all ride with you today. I'll help you hitch up the horses."
A hour later the horses are hitched up the wagon is loaded with their lunch, blankets and fishing rods. Albert and Sylvia sit in the back of the wagon and Matthew and Olivia sit up front with their grandfather driving.
A couple of minutes go by and they are at their favorite spot by the lake and they set up their blankets and picnic basket and begin eating their Fried Chicken dinner, chat and just enjoy their family time together.
Once they are done eating the last bite of chicken and dinner rolls Sylvia says, "Let's save the Apple Pie for a little later."
Albert, the children and Hector all agree as Mr. Webb lies back on his blanket to relax, "I think I will lie here for a little bit."
Olivia and Matthew both say, "Ma, Pa we want to do some fishing for supper tonight."
"That sounds good children," Sylvia says, "But your Pa and I want to take a little walk. We will be back shortly."
"Ok Ma, ok Pa," both children say.
Hector Webb is resting, the children are fishing and Albert and Sylvia are taking a walk they come up on their tree where Albert engraved years ago, 'Albert Loves Sylvia'.
They sit under the tree and begin to talk. Albert says, "Sylvia my love last night was so wonderful!"
Sylvia agrees, "Yes it was showing and making love to you always gets better," She than says, "My love but I have a question. Do we want more children? I love Matthew and Olivia but I don't think I want more children right now."
Albert agrees, "Sylvia my love. I love Matthew and Olivia too but I don't want anymore kids right now either but I also don't like wearing these condoms they take away from our lovemaking."
Albert and Sylvia both have a concered look on their faces because they don't want to stop having sex in fear of more children and having to use a condom.
Just than there is a voice from the sky. God Almighty looks down on His favorite children and says, "No worries my Heavenly couple, look at your rings."
They both look at their rings and they are glowing brightly. God continues to speak, "You now have the power to decide when you what to have children again. Sylvia won't get pregnant until then."
"Oh thank you, Heavenly Father!" Both Albert and Sylvia say in unison happily as God smiles saying, "Continue your duties fighting for justice, watch your families teaching my godchildren the ways of the Heavenly Hero and continue your love of each other. You will ALWAYS be my favorite children. I will be with you."
The Almighty God vanishes and returns to the Heavens.
Albert and Sylvia smiles then looks at each other getting up from sitting under their tree. They look at the engraved names on the tree putting their hands on the lettering. After a few minutes just stroking the letters. They take each other's hand and depart heading back to Hector and the children.
Meanwhile back at the Lake while Matthew and Olivia are fishing they suddenly hear a cry for help. A young lady is drowning and needs help, "Help!...Help!... someone please help me!" She keeps crying out."
Olivia says to her brother, "I'll get her."
Olivia, dispite her in her clothes on dives into the water swims out to the young lady. Easily being assisted with her Godly powers from her Golden Flower Necklace. She reaches the struggling woman saying "It's ok ma'am. I got you," the Heavenly girl says.
Olivia holding onto the girl takes off in the water at a fast speed with the fantastic powers from her necklace assisting her brings the young lady to safety and dry land.
As Olivia is bringing the young girl in from almost drowning Mr. Webb is slowly waking up from a nap and Albert and Sylvia are coming back from their walk and Sylvia asks, "Who is this?"
"Ma," Olivia says,"This girl was out in the water. The Lord helped me help her from drowning."
Albert says, "Let's get her dried off."
The young lady is dried off than Sylvia asks her, "Would you like a piece of Apple Pie?"
"Oh yes thank you and also thank you for helping me."
As they were finishing up their pie they hear a young man calling out, "Debbie... Debbie... Debbie my sweetheart where are you?"
Debbie answers, "I'm over here with these nice people."
The young man comes over to her gives her a hug and says, "I was worried about you after awhile when you don't come back from swimming."
"I am sorry and I don't know what happened," Debbie begins to say, "I started drifting in the water and started to drown. This young girl gifted with the power of God helped me and her parents give me some Apple Pie."
The young man goes over to Olivia and shows his appreciation, "Thank you so much! I'm Paul and Debbie is my new bride we just got married last week," As he hands her a 5 dollar bill."
Olivia says, "Thank you sir but I don't need any payment for helping all the thanks goes to God above."
The young man insisted for her to take the money and than Olivia says, "Ok, thank you sir. I will put it in the offering plate tomorrow at Church."
Syl asks Paul, "Would you like a piece of pie also?"
"No but thank you," Paul says, "My wife and I need to get going. Thank you again for all your help."
"Your welcome," Syl says, "You can take the rest of the pie with you if you want to."
Paul and Debbie do take the rest of the Apple pie with them. Paul and Debbie go on their way.
After Paul and Debbie are out of view Hector Webb, Al, Syl and the children also pack up their fishing rods, picnic basket, blankets and the fish that they caught and head home in their wagon.
As the family is driving in their wagon they hear another sound of cries. This time animal like, "What is that?" Syl asks.
"Sounds like a bear," Al replied.
Matthew then steps up, "My turn. I'll go see what it is."
"Ok son be careful. We'll wait for you here," Al says.
"Ok Pa." Matthew says and as his magical watch glows on his wrist he takes to the air in flight.
After a few minutes Matthew sees what is going on. A Mama Bear is looking over the cliff seeing her two little cubs trapped on a ridge. The ridge is about to give way as the cubs are trying to climb back up to their Mama. One cub tries to climb again but it slips on the ridge edges falling back down hitting the second cub and both cubs tumble off the ledge. The cubs cry out as they are falling to their deaths with the Mama bear crying in horror.
Matthew has a few seconds to act using his Godly speed. He flies down fast and at the last second before the cubs hit he manages to grab both of them and then he flies back up with them to their Ma.
"Just in time! Whew!" As he flies back up and lands right next to the mother bear. Sitting the cubs down. The two little cubs scurry up to their Mama.
"It's ok now Mama bear your cubs are safe," Matthew says.
The Mama bear sensing and seeing that the human boy as a Heavenly Angel to their Creator. Walks up to the Heavenly boy and shows her gratitude by licking him in the face. The cubs follow suit. Showing their thanks and appreciation.
"You all are welcome. I have to leave now. Go in peace mama and babies," Matthew says.
The mother bear and her cubs walk away into the distance the mama bear turns her head looking at the Heavenly boy one last time and then she and her cubs disappear into the forest.
Matthew smiles at the site thinking to himself, "God's creation is so beautiful. Thank you God for allowing me to help them through Your power," then he takes to the air heading back to his own family his cape making a whooshing sound.
Soon Matthew lands in front of his family and his grandpa, "I'm back. There was two baby bears that was trapped on a cliff. I managed to get to them just in time and return them to their mother," Matthew says.
Taking his hand and rubbing it on his son's head, "Good work son!" Al says.
"We're so proud of you and Olivia," Syl says.
"These are my grandchildren here!" Hector proudly says.
