Dis0rd3r: Sonic is a master of many things, and yea Sonic's usual list of opponents is very different from Fate. Despite all the super explosive Noble Phantasms, they fight as warriors, so stuff like machines and more unique opponents like Chaos are quite interesting!
When they finally see Dark Gaia… Oh, the reactions will be glorious (And terrified)!
Of course, Eggman is always such a… Fascinating character. He'll save Sonic, only because HE has to be the one to destroy that damn blue rodent! It can't be anyone else, Eggman or Eggman's machines have to deal the blow, nobody else can.
Eggman in Chaldea would be a nightmare, because he'd create technology superior to everything they have and even stuff that works with Servants, and be super arrogant about it. Da Vinci would indeed hate such a man… Although I can't see Eggman accept anyone but Sage or Metal Sonic as his assistant, tools yes, but not something like an assistant.
Clownreaper96: Sonic is a complex hog, some people try to paint him with the pure hearted hero brush, and while that is apart of him, its not the entirety.

ENDDRAGON369: Hmmm, I don't think Chip's Bracelet could be used as a catalyst, as despite sharing some similarities, he and Acrueid are very different entities. Also, I do have plans for Acrueid, so just wait and see.

Pride of the Quincy: Sonic could apologize yea, but they were on opposite sides and Lancelot almost just killed Gareth (Again), Sonic apologizing would just make Lancelot go berserk.
Cu really needs to learn how to choose his fights better.
Kaleidoscope's Beauty: Well I can only suggest to listen to the songs, as I can't put the proper music lyrics into the story.
Luckenhaft: Lots of people need hugs in Fate, really really need hugs. As for what Eggman and Tails are up to… Wait and see.

Sonic has fought some interesting opponents, Cu is very unlucky as his Noble Phantasm is kind of worthless against anything like Chaos or Metal Chaos. Perfect Chaos and Neo Metal Sonic are going to be glorious.
Eggman wants to take over everything, its a matter if he has the right moment. He can't take over if the world is destroyed after all.
ultima-owner: Sonic's methods are a bit extreme… If useful. His experience with team building is fighting, so of course he'll base his methods on that.
Eggman has made way to many bots, way, to, many.
That Man: That would be funny, if a bit out of nowhere. But I do have plans for the Ultimate Lifeform, big plans…
Chaos cannot be seperated, nor can it be fully bound together. As for what the Master Emerald will be able to do, maybe not as useful as they're hoping…
Doortolight49: A mix of awe, intrigue, horror, and disappointment. The first three make sense, but its the fourth where things get interesting. Eggman and Tails are always advancing their technology, yet the Olympians have just given up, it'd be something Eggman who's had to constantly evolve his tech past even 'perfection' to keep up with Sonic, would be disgusted.
Yorozuya Forever: I believe most of the genius Servants would think of Tails as a student, he's certainly got the brains to be up there, but he's not had any proper lessons… Which makes his genius even more impressive. Most of them would want to cultivate that intelligence, even if its only to claim that its their teachings that made Tails so smart.
Eggman is… Yea, pretty obvious most of them wouldn't like him. Respect his genius, but dislike his personality and ego.
"Space-time distortions, chaos energy, hyper-go-on, and dozens of other energy sources! Some that shouldn't even be possible to acquire in this time!". Eggman near-growled as he looked over dozens of computer screens, his fingers taping across the keyboard at a speed only a genius could follow.
"But why? Whats the point in stealing all that energy?". Tails asked, the two had struck up a temporary alliance, to find out wherever Sonic had vanished to and who had attacked Eggman's ship. The Egg Carrier was flying over the sea currently, they were on course for a certain floating island. "Are you sure Angel island is where they'll go next? Or are you just after an excuse to try stealing the Master Emerald while Knuckles is away?".
"As useful as the Master Emerald would be, neither of us has the skills necessary to use it in such a way to find the Chaos Emeralds. At best it'd be an unlimited energy source, not worth the effort battling you over in the current situation". Eggman wouldn't deny he'd love to take the Master Emerald, but he needed to use Tails and Sonic's friends until he discovered the full situation, from there he could plan…
Tails narrowed his eyes as Eggman grinned, he wasn't even hiding he was already planning something. He'd need to keep an eye on the doctor.
As Angel Island slowly came into view, the young kit was tense and kept looking about, Eggman was confident that Angel Island would be a target, which meant the chance of enemies was high. What could they be like? Humanoid? Machines? Beasts? Or some alien life-force he'd never seen before? How would they fight?
As the Egg Carried landed, Tails nervously looked over to Eggman, who had nothing but his classic Eggmobile to hover about.
"If need be I'll call on badnik support, but you should be able to handle most things, can't you Tails?". The doctor taunted and the young genius growled back as the two quickly began travelling to the Master Emerald shrine.
"Metal would have been helpful at lea-". Tails was cut off.
ROOOOAAAAAARR!
The two geniuses shared a glance, that roar was familiar, disturbingly familiar to both. The two tailed fox began running with his tails twirling behind him, the Eggmobile behind him. Rushing through the foliage, Tails hadn't expected to see what he was seeing.
The watery limbs of the God of Destruction slammed into a strange black boar with purple streaks across its fur, and some type of… It looked like a human skeleton, but as Tails looked further, it only resembled one, there were bones that weren't human in there.
There were dozens of these boars and skeletons, but they were simply to weak to challenge a being like Chaos.
"Chaos 0!? Why is he… No, someone likely tried taking the Master Emerald and without Knuckles here, Chaos was forced to intervene himself". Eggman theorized, paling when the green eyes of the god stared at him with a glare. "H-hey! I'm with the fox brat! I'm not even here for the Master Emerald!".
The deity (Although Tails was starting to wonder if they really should count Chaos as a god since the whole thing with the Ancients and… That situation was confusing, better not to think on it), would have probably done something to the mad scientist if one of the skeletons didn't try stabbing through its chest with a sword, a useless attempt on the shapeshifter who simply had spears emerge from its back and tear into the undead.
Tails leapt into action, his gaze analysing the battle, the skeletons and boars Chaos damaged enough fell apart into some type of purple mist, they weren't living creatures. All right then. A slam of his namesake into the chest of a skeleton crushed it, flying into the air to avoid a boar's charge, homing attack onto it, leap to avoid some old and rusty arrows, pull out his hand canon and blast the archers head away.
If Tails was skill, then Chaos was a berserker. An enlarged fist would crush a boar, watery blasts would emerge from its body, any attacks landing on it were worthless, even those that got close to its brain were negated by it simply shapeshifting to avoid the attacks. Too many thought the water god was on the weaker end, but you don't get the title of god without having the power and skill to back it up.
After a few minutes, the last of the boars and undead were destroyed, Tails was tense as Chaos looked from the kit to the still watching Eggman, who had yet to do a single thing to help.
"Oh come now Chaos… We worked together so well, and now you glare at me so hatefully. We even came here to deal with these… Intruders". Eggman hopped out of the Eggmobile, leaning down to touch some of the black-purple sand that seemed to be the remains of the monsters. "Fascinating, it appears to be some type of magical construct…".
"I'm really sorry for bringing him here Chaos, but he is one of the smartest beings in Mobius and is trying to investigate wherever these weird things are coming from". Tails apologized to the water god, it was hard to tell Chaos feelings with its odd body structure.
The descendent of the Ancients eyes looked vaguely annoyed, but its left hand made a beckoning pose as it began walking. Sharing a glance, the two geniuses followed the water god.
Tails looked about, Angel Island seemed the same, but he was noticing a concerning amount of the black-purple sand everywhere, with Eggman constantly stopping to collect samples he stored into the Eggmobile (Tails wasn't aware the Eggmobile had so much stuff stored inside it, how did the doctor fit an entire miniature lab inside?!).
Eventually they would arrive at their location, the Master Emerald Alter, Tails eyes widened while an intrigued expression crossed Eggman's face.
The Master Emerald glowed softly, but inside of it seemed to be some type of black mist that kept moving about.
"W-whats wrong with the Master Emerald!?". Tails asked as he rushed up to the mystic gem, Eggman not far behind as he quickly pulled out some type of scanner and began to scan it. The kit quickly brought the Miles Electric out from his tails (How his tails managed to safely store said device was a mystery none could figure out, same with how Sonic stored things under his quills, Knuckles in his dreads, Amy in her dress. It was just something they could do, and Tails blamed the overexposure to Chaos Energy).
"What in the world? Negative Chaos Energy level are at 60%?!". Eggman paled, Negative Chaos Energy wasn't something he liked messing with for a reason. If it was higher then the Positive Energy, then the results could be catastrophic. "But why, there must be a reason for this…".
The two quickly stepped back from observing the Master Emerald when Chaos approached, placing a hand onto the ultimate jewel which began to glow more brightly along with the water deities body. Slowly the black mist within started to fade away, but when Chaos pulled its hand back, there was still a small amount of negative energy within.
"Negative energy levels are at 52%, but they don't seem to be increasing again… Sonic has something to do with this, I'm certain". Eggman mused, ideas and theories flowing through his mind.
"And your certain of that how?". Tails asked, with Eggman turning to glare at the young kit.
"Wherever Sonic went, so to are the seven Chaos Emeralds, the Master Emeralds and Chaos Emeralds are interconnected, bound together. So if someone is using the Chaos Emeralds with negative intent, or they're in an area filled with a large amount of negative emotions, with fools who barely understand how to use their power…". Eggman trailed off, both of them understanding exactly what risk was being posed.
The power of a Chaos Emerald wasn't something to mess with, there was a reason only Eggman, Sonic, and those like them, those who understood the power of the emeralds, dared to use them. For any other, their power was to unstable, to risky to use. You ether needed a connection to Chaos Energy, or a genius mind that could calculate the virtually unlimited power of a Chaos Emerald.
The number of those geniuses could be counted on two hands, and two of those genius were on Angel Island right now.
"Chaos! Can you bring the Chaos Emeralds back here using the Master Emerald?". Tails asked the watching shapeshifter, who shook its head. "Oh no… If we can't use the Master Emerald, how are we going to get Sonic and the Emeralds back".
"If one method won't work, we'll simply use another!". Eggman quickly returned to his Eggmobile and began flying away, Tails chasing after him, all the while…
Chaos watched on, simply standing in front of the Master Emerald, waiting for its rightful guardian to return from his long deserved vacation.
Eggman quickly separated from Tails, arriving at a steel locked door. Imputing a code into the keypad, it slowly opened and he entered the large room.
He looked over the dozens of computers, machines, test tubes, and a single large pod. He approached the pod with a grin, his hand brushing against the foggy glass to see inside, the deactivated form of Metal Sonic within.
"It would seem your new upgrades will have to be installed quickly, Metal Sonic…". Eggman began imputing a code into the nearby computer, his fingers rapidly typing in new battle sequences and battle data.
As the data began to download, his gaze turned to another computer, giving a birds eye view of the Master Emerald. Oh how he wanted to take it, the Master Emerald was the most powerful gemstone in the world, Chaos Emeralds, Warp Topaz, even Phantom Ruby's… All of them powerful, but the ultimate gemstone stood above them all.
But things were to unstable, he lacked information. His mind flashed to the many times Sonic had appeared out of nowhere to ruin his plans, that blasted hedgehog had a talented for appearing out of nowhere.
Add in the startling amount of Negative Chaos Energy inside the Master Emerald, and Chaos being able to if not purify it, weaken its effects… Wherever Sonic was, he needed to gather the Chaos Emeralds, and fast.
The doctor turned the camera off, there was no point in worrying about things he couldn't influence, instead he needed to find a way to discover more information.
"Sonic was transported by the power of the Ancient's technology and the Chaos Emeralds… I have plenty of the technology, but a replacement for all seven emeralds…". He thought aloud, there was the Warp Topaz's ability to warp space, but it had been lost to him.
If he had any remaining Phantom Ruby prototypes they could work, but the Resistance had hit all of his labs where the artificial gemstones had been stored. He still had the blueprints of course, but creating a single Phantom Ruby would take at least 60% of his current supplies, an unacceptable condition.
Eggman hated to admit it, but he was in the worst position. He had no idea what was going on with Sonic, who had stolen his supplies and attacked the Egg Carrier, and he wasn't so ignorant to believe Tails and the rest of Sonic's pesky friends weren't threats as well.
Sonic was their shining light, a being who defied calculations time and time again, but that didn't mean the rest of his friends weren't monsters of their own. Shadow could destroy entire armies, Tails was a genius who's mind rivalled the doctor's own, even Amy had enough raw physical power to overpower most of his badniks, and don't even get him started on the rest of that lunatic's overpowered allies!
The doctor's greatest issue right now was a lack of information, he needed to know where Sonic was, what happened to the Chaos Emeralds, and who had attacked him.
He was in a bad position, but he'd improve, he always did. Nothing could stop his genius, and once he dealt with whoever had dared to attack his Egg Carrier…
Sonic was next.
Lily felt… Strange, her eyes blearily blinked open as she… What? Springing up she glanced around, seeing her fellow Servants also returning to… No this wasn't consciousness, it was…
"A dream?". She muttered aloud, this felt just like when Merlin would train her in her dreams and the Servant dream cycle. She glanced around, noticing someone unexpected. "Da Vinci? But you don't-".
"Have a contract with Sonic? I'm wondering the same thing". The Caster smiled as she glanced about, they were in some type of city, but the people wandering about were the real interest. "Both mobians and humans, a city in Sonic's world? How interesting!".
"I'm more wondering why there are so- Sonic". Cu was about to ask why so many Servants were in the dream, before he noticed a certain blue blur jumping and speeding across the rooftops. "Well, we could talk, or we could chase Sonic, I already know what I'm doing!".
The various Servants started chasing the hedgehog, quickly noticing a few things. This Sonic seemed younger, even if none of them were good at guessing mobian ages, he was also far slower then the Sonic they knew.
"He's so… Slow, like he's still really fast but…". Gareth trailed off, not sure how to explain it.
"Its hard to imagine him ever being slow, at best I'd give him a D-rank in Agility". Vlad frowned as he began to hear alarms ring. "Police? I suppose we are to see one of Sonic's battles then".
"Huh?". The dream Sonic spoke, leaping off the building and landing on the ground with ease "Whats up?".
He began chasing after the law enforcement, and was met with a surprising sight.
"Is that… The real Chaos?". Mashu shivered, when facing a simulation of the water god she felt fine, but now… It felt like their was an aura of hatred and wrath around the deity. "He feels so…".
"Angry, every step, every thought is filled with anger…". Mozart winced, observing as the police shot at the deity, but even without its watery body, there was little chance of mere guns effecting a god.
"Ah yeah! This could be fun!". Sonic stared down the deity with a grin, making it obvious to those watching he had no clue what he was facing. The fight began, and to be honest…
"Neither of them are fighting seriously, Sonic's doing to many wasted moves and Chaos is performing way lower then the one I fought in the Simulator, I get Sonic holding back but why is Chaos?". Cu asked, nobody able to give him a solid answer.
"Maybe its arrogance? Chaos is a god after all, why would it go all out on a single mortal?". Tamamo suggested, but even to her own ears it felt weak.
"Its not thinking straight, Chaos could easily shapeshift to avoid Sonic's blows. Its too angry, its more like a Berserker then anything…". Artoria Alter put her own theory forth, and it did seem pretty likely to the others.
"Ah come ya big drip! Where ya goin?". Sonic chased after a fleeing Chaos, only for it to flee down the drains. The hedgehog stopped, frowning as he couldn't exactly chase a water creature into the sewers. "Ah man! I was totally going to kick his butt as well!".
"Hehehehe! Oh he's so adorable, why can't Sonic act like this more?". Marie giggled, even as the dream around them began changing. It was hard to describe the change, as the structures and people shifted around them.
They had gone from a city to some mountain area, the ocean visible in the distance along with a house. The Servants glanced about, realizing Sonic was now accompanied by a yellow fox, who they had heard the hedgehog speak of enough to recognize.
"Is that… Tails? He's so…". Lily trailed off, she knew she was young, but Tails seemed to be even younger. Sonic had called him his younger brother, but they had never asked HOW young.
"He looks like he should be in school, not running around mountains!". Tamamo quickly glanced from her tail to the fox's twin tails, he didn't feel like a kitsune to her senses but the similarity was strange.
"Hahahah! If it isn't Sonic!". A machine floated down from the sky, piloted by a… Egg-shaped man? What? Sonic however only smirked confidently.
"Look! Its a giant talking egg!". Sonic taunted, but the man only grinned madly.
"Silence! I am Dr Robotnik, the greatest scientific genius in the world!". The man boasted, Robotnik? Sonic had never mentioned a Robotnik.
"Whatever you say, Eggman!". Sonic replied, some more taunts and insulted were shared before a battle began between the heroic duo and villainous genius.
"So Eggman and Dr Robotnik are one in the same, and that device…! How is it floating? There's no obvious propulsion systems, is it controlling gravity somehow? And that ability to so seamlessly connect to another device!". Da Vinci may dislike his boasting, but she had to admit this doctor was intelligent, startlingly so.
Eggman's machine fell down to the ground, a grinning Sonic approaching him.
"Now that wasn't so hard!". Sonic stood ready to capture the evil genius, Tails right behind him with a-
"A Chaos Emerald…". Jeanne Alter spoke nervously, she still wasn't comfortable around the gems after realizing just how weak she was to Chaos Energy. She glared as a comforting hand from Jeanne was placed onto her back, but didn't push the saint off (Self justifying it to herself with the idea Jeanne would just keep doing it).
"Aha!". A metallic cable burst from the Eggmobile, snatching the purple emerald from Tails hands with an 'Oh no!' from Sonic. Now with the machine floating again and the Chaos Emerald in hand, Eggman announced with a grin. "Come on Chaos, its time to eat!".
Emerging from the ground was the familiar watery body of Chaos, glaring at Sonic.
"Chaos?". Sonic question, before his eyes narrowed. "Oh no, wasn't that the same monster I saw the other day?".
But none were prepared for Eggman to toss the emerald to Chaos, nor for the transformation it underwent. Its right arm had become thicker, with a metal skeleton inside with the Chaos Emerald stored within.
"Ooooh Yes! Its just as the stone tablets predicted!". Eggman cheered. "Hahahaha! His strength increases every time I feed him a Chaos Emerald! With all seven in him, he'll be invincible and work for me! Together, we'll destroy Station Square! And on its ruins, I'll build Eggmanland, the ultimate city! Where I will rule it all all! Come on Chaos! Let's find another emerald, shall we?".
Eggman tossed some type of flashbang to the ground, blinding everyone.
"Gah! Stupid Eggy! You can't just blind an idol!". Elizabeth hissed, while the other Servants shared concerned glances.
"A creature that feeds on Chaos Emeralds to gain power, and is supposedly invincible with all seven… That sounds like it will be an issue". Artoria frowned, this Eggman was arrogant as expected… And mad, destroying what she believed to be a city just to create his own?
"Indeed, and with this young Sonic seeming so arrogant… I worry he won't treat this situation with the seriousness it deserves". Vlad was worried, he knew Sonic would survive, but how many would be injured? Killed?
The dream shifted again, they seemed to still be in the mountain area, but in a different spot. Sonic was of course here along with Tails, but there was somebody new here, a red mobian with… Dreadlocks?
"Who's that…?". Gareth asked, confused at who the new mobian might be, but before anyone could put forth a suggestion, the dream began to move forward.
"What's up, Knuckles?". Sonic asked with a grin, but had to dodge to the side when the echidna threw a punch forward. "Somethin' buggin' you?".
"No times for games, Sonic!". Knuckles growled out. "Give me the emeralds you have! right now!".
"What!? Let's just see you take 'em, huh!". Sonic responded. The two began to brawl.
Straight away it was clear Knuckles took the fight far more seriously then Sonic, creating craters in the ground with every blow and countering the hedgehog's attacks. Not that the blue blur wasn't delivering his own powerful kicks and spin dashes to the echidna.
"Woah! This Knuckles is really strong!". Lily was on awe of the echidna's strength, it almost reminded her of Gawain in a strange way.
"And he's skilled at energy manipulation to, its not obvious but he's using Chaos Energy to enhance his attacks". Tamamo observed, something about Knuckles felt… Strange, not bad, just strange.
"He fights not as a warrior, but a guardian". Vlad noted, the echidna was powerful without a doubt, but he did not fight like one would expect of a warrior, but more like someone trying to protect something.
Sonic and Knuckles rushed at each other, both delivering both blows, and causing two jewels to be thrown flying into the air, far away from both.
"Oh no! The Chaos Emeralds!". Sonic was about to get up and run towards the emeralds, when out of nowhere, the sounds of a familiar flying device were heard.
"Ohohoho!". Eggman flew onto the scene with an evil grin.
"Ah, Eggman!". Knuckles growled, his eyes widening in worry as Eggman used some type of device to drag both emeralds to him.
"Ha… Like taking candy from a baby!". The mad genius held both emeralds in each hand, his smug aura visibly frustrating all three mobians.
"That's a Chaos Emerald!". Knuckles spoke, the Servants sharing a glance, he was asking about emeralds earlier, what did he think Sonic had?
"That's right, fool, you made it all too easy! You practically gave them to me!". Eggman gloated, the echidna glaring at him with rage.
"Hold it right there, creep! You can't get away with this!". Sonic looked ready to brawl. "Knuckles, don't tell me Eggman tricked you again?".
"Me? What about you!?".
"Way to go, knuckelhead!".
"They… Don't seem to get along as well as Sonic implied when he spoke of Knuckles". Jeanne brought up.
"They're younger here, its only to be expected they'd get into childish arguments". Marie giggled, she knew this scene was serious, but she just couldn't get over how cute the mobians were!
"Now, I have four lovely emeralds! Chaos… ". Eggman grinned as the water deity emerged ground the ground, starting out as a puddle and getting larger… And larger.
Chaos body structure had changed rapidly, where before it was somewhat humanoid, now it stood more like a beast. A Chaos Emerald shining in each arm along with metallic bones. But to the Servants who could sense it...
"Its divinity… Its rapidly risen, what the hell kind of monster is this thing?!". Cu's eyes were widened in shock, where before Chaos had been a relatively weak entity, now it felt like it could crush a Servant in a single blow.
"It evolves with each emerald consumed, if just two increases its power this much and Eggman is about to give it two more… What kind of monster is all seven combined?". Da Vinci wondered in both awe and if you paid close attention, terror.
All of them could feel on some level, the malice, the negativity that Chaos produced with every movement. It was reminding Mashu of Fuyuki, of the near endless malice that seemed to leak from every corner.
"These are for you, my friend!". Eggman tossed both emeralds to Chaos, landing in its water skin as with a glow of light, it began to mutate.
Gone was anything even remotely human, it seemed vaguely fish-like, and its energy had risen rapidly. Chaos 4 stood before them in all its terrifying malice.
"Ah! It transformed again!". Tails flinched back, fear in the young kit's eyes.
"Man, no one ever cuts us any slack!". Sonic began running, the deity following as they landed onto a pond filled with massive lily pads. From their the fight began.
Yet to call it a fight was inaccurate, it was more Sonic desperately trying not to fall into the water and homing attacking Chaos brain whenever he could.
"Huh? Why isn't Blue just… Going to fight it underwater?". Elizabeth wondered, not fully realizing the situation.
"It's a water god, would you fight it in its own domain?". Artoria Alter quickly offered a suggestion, but it would be her own self that admitted the truth.
"I… Can't swim, and since Sonic's my counterpart…". Lily trailed off as they all realized the situation, Cu falling to the ground in laugher.
"Hahahaha! Hahaha!".
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!
The sound of massive jet engines distracted them all, as they stared into the sky… And froze.
"Impossible… Thats impossible, something that heavy and large can't fly! You'd need to-". Before Da Vinci could contioue her explanation, the dream continued on, leaving a frustrated Caster behind.
"Behold my floating masterpiece, the Egg Carrier! But it pales in comparison to the power of Chaos! Adieu… Until we meet again, my friends! Ha ha ha ha!". Eggman was floated up to the Egg Carrier by a beam of energy, laughing the entire time.
"Hey! We can't let him get away!". Tails spoke to Sonic and Knuckles. "Lets get to my workshop and we'll take the Tornado!".
"Yea!". Sonic grinned at his little brother, before Knuckles interrupted.
"You guys go!". Knuckles stared at the duo. "I have some unfinished business to take care of".
"No problem Knuckles, we'll take care of everything here!". The group began going their separate ways, the brother duo quickly rushing to a building the Servants had seen in the distance.
What they didn't expect to see was the trees and ground shifting apart, revealing a run way… Or the adorable young kit Tails, driving a plane.
"Oh my! I see Sonic's claims of his brothers genius weren't just claims, this technology. Hmmm… I can see some errors, but if he made this all from scratch with no proper instructions, Tails may be one of the greatest minds I've ever seen!". Da Vinci smiled, interested in seeing more of the young genius. It was good to see some more moral minded intelligence, after dealing with Eggman's constant ego.
The dream shifted, they seemed to be on the Egg Carrier… And looking at some of the scratches and minor wounds on both Sonic and Tails, a large amount of time seemed to pass.
"We seemed to have skipped a large portion of time, I wonder why…". Mashu thought aloud.
"Oh who cares!? I just want to see them back to fighting again!". Jeanne Alter interjected, her gaze locked onto the events happening.
As Sonic and Tails prepared to explore the Egg Carrier, they were interrupted by a voice.
"Don't get too many ideas, you fools!". The voice of everyone's least favourite genius spoke out over speakers. "You haven't seen the power this vessel really has! Get a load of this!".
The massive form of the Egg Carrier began shifting about, keeping the same shape mostly, but there were a few new things to note.
"Ahh wow! It's changed shape. Did you see that?". An excited Tails asked. The two brothers and Eggman bantered for a bit, before they began exploring again.
The dream shifted again, they were still on the Egg Carrier, and Sonic was staring down…
"Is… Is that Chaos!?". Mashu trembled, the new monstrous form of Chaos 6 staring down the hedgehog hero. It radiated a feeling of pure utter power and destruction, a god come to judge humanity.
"I can't believe its changed shape so much!". Mozart glanced to Marie, noting the worry on her features. "This is a dream, yet even so the idea Sonic managed to defeat such a creature is…
"Hard to believe. Its so close to achieving its perfect form…". Jeanne frowned, this wasn't good, not at all.
"Oh no! Not again!". A worried Sonic spoke. "Chaos, could this be the same beast?".
"Hahahah! Oh yes! Attack Sonic, now!". Eggman demanded, while a new character, a rather… Large cat looked worriedly at… A frog stuck in Chaos? What.
"Froggy…!". The cat (Who they would later discover was named Big, which was… Fitting) looked worried for his friend. "I must save Froggy!".
"If he's your friend, I'll help you". Sonic grinned as Big nodded, turning to face Chaos. "Just leave it to me!".
"Hahahah! Now I have six of the Chaos Emeralds! There's only one more left to find!". Eggman cheered for himself, gloating about his victory. "I've even found Chaos missing tail!".
"You won't get away with this, you madman!". Sonic spoke to the arrogant doctor.
"I will! You're no match for Chaos, even thought he's not been perfected yet". Eggman grinned down at his long time nemesis. "Okay Chaos, destroy them all! Immediately!".
Sonic began to brawl with the nearly perfect Chaos, using a variety of tricks to outspeed and outmatch the deity.
"No way! I can't believe this!". Eggman was in disbelief, the ultimate power, defeated!?
"Sonic!". The voice of Knuckles cried out as he rushed to his allies side.
"Hey there Knuckles, glad you finally made it. I thought you got lost or something!". Sonic teased his friend, unnoticing as Eggman was ready to escape.
"Until we meet again, Sonic!". The mad doctor flew away in the Eggmobile, ignoring Sonic's demands to come back.
And then leaping off the thousands of miles in the air flying ship.
"Did… Did he just…". Jeanne Alter couldn't contain her disbelief. "How did he…?".
The dream shifted, Sonic was relaxing against a tree. Yawning. The Servants glanced to each other, another time skip?
"Guess Eggman's learned his lesson… Yep! And maybe I'll take another vacation somewhere". The hedgehog looked like he was about to lay down for a nap when...
"SONIC!". Tails ran up to the hedgehog, who stared up with a grin.
"Hey there Tails! Did you find the Tornado two?". Sonic asked casually, but looked confused at Tails concerned expression.
"Never mind that. Get up and follow me!". The kit got right to his brother's side. "Angel Island is falling again!".
"Hey, no way! Who blew it this time?". The blue blur stood up with a frustrated expression .
"I don't know, but we'd better hurry!".
The two brothers began running/flying about, after a few minutes arriving at a concerning sight of a knocked down Knuckles and… Eggman?
"Sonic… Ugh… Sorry!". A pained grunt left Knuckles voice, as Sonic helped the echidna to his feet.
"Knuckles, and Eggman…? What happened here?". The hedgehog asked, the echidna having an expression of defeat.
"He… He stole my Chaos Emeralds…". Knuckles managed to get out, before continuing. "And Chaos… Is still alive!".
"What!?". A concerned Sonic was shocked, while Eggman pushed himself up.
"Argh! He's not going to get away with this!". The mad genius called the Eggmobile down and quickly got in, ignoring the cries of the mobians below.
"Sonic… Chaos is a fearsome beast!". Knuckles wobbled on his feet, before managing to steady himself. "If he gets that last Chaos Emerald, we're done for!".
"No need to explain, we'll get on it!". Sonic was prepared to jump into action, when out of nowhere a red light blinded him and.. Transported him somewhere?
He was in what seemed to be an ancient version of Angel Islands, with dozens of echidna running about. The Servants watched in horror as Tikal and her father argued, the power crazed echidna tossing his daughter out of his way as he and his men charged for…
"Is… Is that thing a Chaos Emerald!?". Tamamo trembled as she stared at the massive green jewel, even from here she could feel the power contained within, s-she couldn't sense an end to it!
"Its polish, its shine… Even the other emeralds seemed to lack the majesty this one possess". Sasaki mused, he was a swordsman, the mystic arts were of no interest to him. But even so, this giant emerald had a beauty even he could admire.
"I… Remember it! I saw it in a past dream cycle, Sonic called it the Master Emerald!". Lily remembered, she couldn't recall the exact details of the dream, but she did remember the Master Emerald's name.
"Master Emerald… Does that mean it controls the Chaos Emeralds? It certainly has the energy required to do so…". Da Vinci's mind was ablaze with calculations, if she had thought a Chaos Emerald had produced an absurd amount of energy, with the Master Emerald Chaldea could summon hundreds if not thousands of Servants and still have energy to spare!
As the echidna ran towards the Master Emerald, a familiar water deity emerged. Chaos stood protectively in front of the large gem.
"Aaaah! It's a monster!". One of the echidna cried out, Chaos began to glow and… Everything turned white. But before then, the Servants felt it.
Pure, absolute, crushing power. The presence of a beast that would drown the world.
The dream shifted, Sonic was running, faster then they'd ever seen this younger version of the hedgehog run, a worried expression on his face. After a few minutes, he and Tails arrived at the sight of… It looked like the Tornado they had seen earlier, with some massive improvements.
"Look! It's the Tornado two!". Tails cheered, while Sonic grinned.
"Yeah, so lets get the Chaos Emerald and leave!". Sonic and Tails began to approach the plane… Jet? Whatever. When out of nowhere, a stream of water surged around the plane. "What!?".
The water faded away, but both Tails and Sonic had worried eyes.
"No! He's got the last emerald!". Sonic had an expression rarely seen on the blue blur, fear.
Suddenly the dream shifted again, and they were observing a city from on top of one of the highest buildings.
"We're… In the city? But where's Sonic?". Lily asked, trying to spot her counterpart before freezing along with every other Servant.
They felt it, the massive amount of Chaos Energy building up across the city, and watched as water began to surge from everywhere it could. Sewers overfilled, the road cracking apart as water burst out, many buildings bursting open as water came from everywhere it could.
"No! T-those people!". Gareth watched in horror, seeing hundreds of humans and mobians struggle, only to fall beneath the waves. By her side, Lancelot shared much the same feelings.
"W-what the fuck is going on!? How the hell is this happening!?". Jeanne Alter demanded, fear on her face. She was a witch of flames and Hyper-Go-On energy, a city filled with Chaos Energy infused water was her worst enemy
"O Lord please protect them…". Jeanne clapped her hands together in prayer for those who had undoubtedly lost their lives in this tragedy.
The Servants all had expressions of horror, they'd seen destruction, they'd seen wars, but to so easily tear a city apart? The level of power required to do such a thing was something only the most powerful of Servants or divine spirits could demand.
A massive wave surged over the city, drowning even more in the depths. As the water passed over them, each of them shivered, they could feel the malice within each droplet…
Finally however, the culprit would show itself. Water began merging together on one of the tallest buildings, until a massive reptilian head formed, green eyes glaring out with hatred.
"ROOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR!". The earth shattering roar of Perfect Chaos echoed across the skies, it did not need to spread out its energy to send a message, its very presence spoke of what it was and what it had come to do.
The god of destruction had come, and the mortals could only try to struggle against its wave.
"That thing… Is Chaos perfect form?". Cu had seen dozens of monsters and even gods, but Perfect Chaos very presence spoke of absolute destruction, a being that could not be stopped or resisted, only struggle against fruitlessly.
"Its as if the wrath of Heaven itself had been unleashed… No, such a beast has no place in the Lord's garden". Vlad glared at the deity, all this destruction, so many lives lost, and for what? Nothing.
"Its energy levels are incalculable… Is this… The true ultimate power?". Da Vinci tried to keep her smile on, but it was strained, artificial. How the hell could anyone smile when faced with something like this?
"How… How is Senpai meant to stop this!? Even if he had Excalibur, there's no way he could…". Mashu trembled, how was Sonic meant to stop something like Perfect Chaos? She couldn't see a way…
"Disgusting…". Artoria Alter spoke not to Perfect Chaos, but to her allies. "Gather yourselves! You are Heroic Spirits are you not!? To lose faith in Sonic so quickly, and you dare call yourselves his allies!?".
The furious words of Artoria shocked some sense into the Servants, there was still fear of course, but they had to remember. These events had already happened, and Sonic was still standing with them, he would prevail.
"Of course… We just need to have faith in him". Marie smiled, that was all they needed here. Faith in the hero of Mobius.
"If I wasn't just dreaming, that monster is a real menace!". Sonic stared at the god of destruction from atop one of the few standing roads. Before noticing a ship flying in the distance, the Egg Carrier. "Eggman! Looks like he's after Chaos too!".
Yet before Eggman could even try anything, energy gathered if Perfect Chaos maw, and was unleashed as a beam of pure destruction, tearing through the Egg Carrier with ease. The watching group were in awe of the power the beast so easily commanded. Sonic watched in worry, before a red orb of light floated besides him.
"Oh, its you! The one… Who sealed Chaos in the Master Emerald! Tikal". Sonic spoke as the orb of light turned into a see through echidna, the Servants glanced to each other, instantly realizing this was some type of spirit.
"My heart has always been within the Master Emerald, along with Chaos. Now he's filled with anger and sadness". The ghostly echidna, Tikal spoke sadly. "And if it goes on, he'll eventually destroy the world, like he did before!".
The Servants wanted to speak, but their full attention was on the events before them. Seven lights shined above Perfect Chaos, before flying away, one landing besides Sonic to reveal a now black Chaos Emerald, its energy drained away.
"Look! He's absorbed the emerald's power! He must be sealed within the Master Emerald now!". Tikal cried out fearfully.
"How can that help? It won't change how he feels inside, will it?". Sonic asked, clenching his fist. "His heart will still remain in turmoil and his anger just won't vanish! He'll just be trapped forever!".
"What choice do we have?". Tikal asked.
While the other Servants were in shock over Sonic wanting to help Perfect Chaos with its anger, Jeanne Alter was feeling something else.
'Even to something this terrifying… He'd try to help them overcome their issues? Is that why he held out his hand to me? How can someone be so kind and pure-hearted? It… It doesn't make sense'. The altered saint was confused, her heart and head a mess. She couldn't understand this hedgehog, she couldn't understand his constant kindness.
"Even now, he's trying to help people around him… Truly, Sonic's kindness is his greatest trait". The original Jeanne smiled, Sonic truly was a great and kind person. She was honoured to serve under such a pure hearted master.
"Senpai is incredible…". Mashu agreed with the saint, a smile on her face.
"Hey Sonic!". A feminine voice echoed out as pink hedgehog ran over to the blue blur, a bird by her side.
"Amy?". Sonic was confused, before the said female hedgehog offered him a black emerald.
"Here, take this!". Amy held out the emerald. Before two others arrived, Tails and Knuckles.
"Hey guys, whats up?". Sonic asked, before noticing they to, held the energy empty emeralds.
"Chaos only used the negative power of the emeralds!". Tails grinned. "Sonic! You should be able to harness there real power!".
"As much as I hate to admit it, I think Tails is right about this!". Knuckles agreed, before cheers began to carry out.
It was the survivors, various humans and mobians, some of them swimming about on water, some still in the ruins of buildings, and some just standing on some rubble. They all cheered for the hedgehog hero, a slight glow returning to the Chaos Emeralds.
"Negative forces aren't the only way to empower the Chaos Emeralds. Our positive feelings towards each other can make them work!". Tails explained, as Sonic held each of the visibly glowing Chaos Emeralds. "Our hearts together can form awesome power!".
A blinding golden glow occurred, the Servants could feel pure power enter the air. But unlike with Perfect Chaos, this one filled them with comfort, peace, the idea everything was going to be okay.
(You know exactly what you need to play here).
"Is… Is that Senpai?". Mashu stared at the golden figure of Super Sonic in awe, the others much the same. The feeling of dread from the god of destruction was being pushed away by the comforting golden flames of the hedgehog hero.
"How radiant…". Lily stared in awe, it was incredible. Caliburn and Excalibur both had presences that promised of protection, and she was getting that exact same feeling from Super Sonic.
"Its almost like he became a god himself, but theres nothing divine about this!". Cu grinned, what incredible power!
"It feels like everything is going to be okay now, it feels like…". Tamamo trailed off, not sure how to describe it.
"It feels like Sonic, like he's right beside us. Inspiring with both his actions and words". Jeanne smiled, as the Servants watched the Super hedgehog.
Super Sonic took to the skies, shocking the Servants with the ability of flight.
Water spears, energy blasts, everything Perfect Chaos had was thrown at the hedgehog, all was evaded or countered while the golden blur kept a cocky grin.
The fight lasted only for a few minutes, but to the Servants, it was enough. The water started to fade away, as did Perfect Chaos giant body.
Chaos stood before a small group of blue creatures, which happily walked up to the deity and began babbling like babies towards their parent.
"Chaos has changed again… This time, for the better". A watching Knuckles noted, a warm smile across his face.
"Yea! Super Sonic must have neutralized it, so its nice again!". Tails cheered, happy to see peace returned.
Sonic watched it all with a grin, peace had returned. The dream shifted one final time, they were on Angel Island, with the Master Emerald resting in its rightful place, a sense of peace and serenity returned to the island at last.
"That was incredible…". Lily breathed out, the presence of Super Sonic… She wondered, if the emeralds were gathered again, could she perhaps become 'Super Lily'?
"Indeed, a symphony of emotions, peace and destruction… Ah! I need to get to my room, inspiration has struck me for a new melody!". Mozart's mind was abuzz, music singing to him.
"Senpai really is just incredible…". Mashu smiled, Sonic was amazing.
"A-ah come on, he wasn't that impressive!". Jeanne Alter tried to hide her own awe and amazement, but from the look Jeanne was giving her sister, it wasn't working.
"It was an… Interesting story to be sure. But its about time the perpetrator showed himself". Artoria Alter spoke aloud, perpetrator? She knew who had created this strange dream cycle. "If you don't show yourself now, I'll come for your head personally Mer-".
"Wait wait wait! Dear me Artoria, no mercy even for your old teacher?". In a wave of flowers a man appeared, familiar to some, unknown to others. Merlin smiled at the Servants of Chaldea. "And here I was planning my big entrance!".
"T-teacher!". Lily smiled and ran up to the incubus, wrapping the surprised mage in a hug. The rest of the Servants however had suspicious looks, especially the knights of Camelot.
"What the hell are you doing here Merlin? Aren't you meant to be locked up in Avalon?". Artoria Alter demanded, the mage smiling as he began to smile.
"Well that is still the case I assure you! I'm simply here in spirit, even in Avalon I could feel the incineration of humanity and the entrance of the Chaos Emeralds into our world!". Merlin smiled as he waved his staff, the dream shifting around them until they returned to… Tails workshop? "Its an interesting story you see! An unparalleled force of chaos intruding upon our world, both gracing and blessing!".
"And what do you mean by that, incubus?". Cu asked, twirling his spear he had summoned the instant the magus had appeared.
"Simple… Sonic was not meant to appear in our world, his world is different from our own and yet so similar in many ways… I cannot tell you the full situation, if I were to reveal certain information…". Merlin frowned. "Lets just say, your enemy is already learning of how to use the world of Mobius to his advantage, you already have one example, don't you?".
"...Me, I was the start. A fucking test?". Jeanne Alter growled out, furious at something she had already suspected being confirmed.
"Indeed… Hyper-Go-On, the power of aliens from beyond the stars, the Wisps". Merlin smiled as an illusion of various Wisps appeared around him. "And its only the start I'm afraid".
"I see, so thats why you showed us one of Sonic's adventures? You want to try getting us used to Sonic's worlds and the kind of forces we may face from it". Da Vinci realized the truth of the situation. "Does that mean we'll be facing something based on Chaos in the next Singularity? You are a clairvoyant, aren't you?".
"That… Is something I cannot say. Time is distorted, only further muddled by the presence of the Chaos Emeralds. I cannot predict what will come". The mage of flowers smiled sadly. "I truly wish I could help more, but I already have my hands a bit full with another situation".
"You just want to be lazy!". Gareth shouted at the incubus, who just smiled back as the dream began to fade away, each Servant waking up.
Once they fully awakened, Merlin sighed as his eyes opened to the sights of the city of Uruk. Oh if only he could be lazy.
"Oh if only… King Gilgamesh will not be pleased at this rate". The magus began walking towards the throne room.
Oh if only this was a situation he could afford to be lazy, the King of Mages had no idea what forces he had invited into this world.
Now this was a long one! Decided to merge both the Mobius stuff and dream section together. I felt some bits were a bit rushed, but I'm not very good at writing reaction stuff. I do hope people liked the first glimpse of Super Sonic in this fic, I have plans for that transformation, plans…
