Shoutouts:

At a small lake, Team Rocket was fishing. "Really?" asked Jessie as she reels in her Ekans lure. "We can catch the Totem Pokémon doing this?"

"You doubt the information I gathered about the Totem Pokémon?" James asked her, then looked over his shoulder at the man behind them. "That master fisherman said he saw the Totem Pokémon with his very own eyes." The man behind him, nodded. "You see that. It's not just possible or probable, but definite."

"In that case, we'll fish for every Totem Pokémon swimming in the deep, blue sea that we can catch and carry." said Jessie. "A trove of Totem Pokémon for the Boss."

"Fish all you want, but there's only one Totem Pokémon." Meowth tells her.

"Wobbuffet." said Wobbuffet.

"And this might be the one." grunted Meowth, getting up from the ground.

"Reel with care, old chum." said James.

"This baby's….all mine!" shouted Meowth, reeling it in, only getting a Wishiwashi. "Baby?"

"Let me see." said James, looking through his Alolan guidebook. "Oh, that's a Wishiwashi."

"I get enough Wishiwashi with you." said Meowth, throwing it back into the water.

"(Grunts) This is the size of a truck." strained Jessie, gripping her fishing pole tight.

"Don't let it get away." said James.

"Get a grip!" said Meowth.

"Wobbu, Wobbu, Wobbu…." chanted Wobbuffet. Jessie pulls her fishing pole hard and out of the water was a squealing Bewear who caused Team Rocket to scream.

"We're off with a new blast!" screamed Team Rocket as Bewear speedily swims through the water of the lake before projecting itself into the air.

"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet called out.

"Huh?" said the master fisherman, waking up and sees that Team Rocket was gone. "I wonder if they went home." Down in the water, a school of Wishiwashi gathered around.

Narrator: Its extracurricular activity time for our heroes on Akala Island. They're free to go wherever they want, but where do they want to go?

Jordan: You're asking me? An 8-year-old?

Narrator: Well….

Jordan: You know very well that Ash and I are a package deal.

"Pika!" said Pikachu, running ahead of Meeko. "Pika, Pika. Pika!"

"Pop! Pop!" said Popplio, creating a balloon that lets Pikachu in.

"Lana, what are you doing with that rod?" asked Ash.

"Performing a little maintenance." replied Lana.

"I've never seen Misty do that." Jordan muttered.

"She never did that as far as I remembered." said Meeko shaking her head, knowing the red head. "Maybe she did that when we weren't looking."

"That's true, Meeko." said Jordan.

"I'm going to catch a Mega Gyarados in the water." Lana tells him.

"A Mega Gyarados?" screeched Ash. "Oh! Awesome! I had no idea you could do that!"

"Kidding!" said Lana, sticking her tongue out.

"Kidding?" asked Ash, blowing away.

"There's no such thing as a Mega Gyarados in the wild." said Rotom.

"You know this, Ash." said Jordan. "You just forgot about it."

"Pop! Pop!" said Popplio.

"Pika!" said Pikachu, floating around.

"But I am going fishing. Since we're on Akala, it's ideal." said Lana. "I'll fish for its biggest catch."

"Fishing, huh?" asked Ash. "We all did that together before."

"Want to come too?" asked Lana.

"Oh, yeah!" shouted Ash.

"You'll have to cast my line, Ash." said Jordan.

"Yeah, yeah I know." said Ash as Popplio's balloon pops around Pikachu.

"Pika!" grunted Pikachu, falling onto Popplio. "Pikachu."

"Lucario?" asked Meeko.

"Great. I'll catch the biggest one!" said Ash, then realized that once again, he and Jordan have no fishing gear. "Oops. We don't have fishing rods."

"Here." said Lana, holding a couple of fishing rods in her hand.

"Huh?" said Ash.

"My family's motto is always have a spare fishing rod for friends." Lana said to Ash and Jordan. "Use these ones, you two."

"(Chuckles) Thanks a lot, Lana." said Ash.

"Thanks, Lana." said Jordan.

"Yeah, okay, but if you're coming, at least help out." Kiawe said to the others.

"Of course, I will." said Mallow.

"Kiawe, where are you going?" Ash asked.

"Everybody wants to come to my place." Kiawe answered.

"Who wouldn't want to come, you know?" asked Mallow. "It's a real dairy farm, which means butter, cheese and yogurt, made from fresh Moomoo Milk."

"And let's not forget the main attraction, the ice cream." said Sophocles.

"This would be the perfect opportunity to use fresh Moomoo milk to make all kinds of super delicious Pokémon food." said Lillie.

"So that's the plan. Want to come along?" asked Kiawe.

"As much as I would like to see Mimo, I'm good." said Jordan. "But give her a hug for me though."

"Lana, Jordan and I are fishing for the biggest Pokémon." explained Ash.

"All right. Then we'll see you later." said Kiawe.

"Good luck." said Mallow.

"And have fun." said Lillie.

"Make it a huge catch." said Sophocles.

"We'd better get a move on as soon as we can." said Ash.

"Right." said Lana and Jordan.

"Big catch, here we come." said Ash as he, Lana and Jordan exited the Pokémon center.

"Hey. It's you…." said Olivia as she falls off a Tauros.

"Olivia!" said Ash and Jordan.

"Are you all right?" asked Lana.

"Pika?" asked Pikachu.

"Cario?" asked Meeko.

"Are you going out on a fishing date?" Olivia asked Lana.

"No, no, no, no, that's not it at all." said a blushing Lana, shaking her head.

"I wish that it was. That way I can have a sister-in-law earlier than I want it to be." Jordan whispered to Olivia, giggling as the kahuna smiles.

"We're going to find the biggest catch you ever saw." said Ash.

"Well, by the time you get back from all of that, I will have finished this." said Olivia, holding up the ore Lana found.

"Whoa, a Z-Ring!" exclaimed Ash. "You've got to totally psyched."

"Hm." said Lana.

"Hey, Lana, aren't you excited?" asked Ash. "That means you're going to be able to work on your Z-Moves, am I right?"

"Which he rarely is, just so you know." said Jordan.

"It kind of doesn't feel real yet." said Lana.

"Oh." said Ash.

"Hey, it'll feel real soon enough. I know." said Olivia. "You said you were going to go fishing, didn't you? I've heard there's a huge Totem Pokémon living in the lake near Brooklet Hill. Try there."

"Totem Pokémon?" asked Lana and all three quickly went to Brooklet Hill.

"Wow, this place is huge." said Ash.

"It's not as huge as the one at Professor Oak's lab." said Jordan.

"And there's a Totem Pokémon here?" asked Rotom.

"The only way to find out is to catch it." Ash said, unlocking the fishing pole.

"Let's catch it." said Lana.

"Just one moment, young ones." said the fisherman from earlier.

"Huh?" said the trio.

"Hello, who are you?" asked Lana.

"I'm called the master fisherman of Akala island." he said to them.

"Master fisherman?" asked Ash.

"Right…..do you have any fishing credentials?" asked Jordan.

"If you want to battle with this lake's Totem Pokémon, you'll need my permission." said the fisherman, ignoring Jordan.

"Huh? Your permission?" Ash asked.

"That's correct." he replied. "I've been a master fisherman for 40 years and I've been battling that big monster for 40 years as well. So scary, it's never been caught even once. And this scar is proof of our many struggles over the years."

"Whoa." said Ash.

"Pika." said Pikachu. The fisherman clears his throat as his fake scar peels away and Jordan shakes her head.

"But anyway," said the fisherman. "the Totem Pokémon will refuse to battle anyone it does not deem worthy. If you three have what it takes, then I as a master fisherman, am here to judge if that's true."

"Judge us please." said Lana.

"What she said." Ash chimed in.

"I want to catch the Totem Pokémon." said Lana.

"Me too." said Ash.

"This should definitely be a contest." said Jordan.

"Then I want to see you catch a Feebas right here and now." said the master fisherman.

"Feebas, the fish Pokémon, a water type." said Rotom. "Feebas are tough and can live in extremely polluted water."

"Cool. That's all we need to do?" Ash asked.

"You're green." said the fisherman, getting close to Ash. "That's why I detest amateurs."

"Green?" asked Ash.

"Yes."

"Why is he green?" asked Jordan, then looks at her brother. "I know that he's not green with envy. He hasn't been green with envy in a good while."

"Lucar." said Meeko.

"The Feebas in this lake aren't as easy to catch as you obviously assume." he said to the siblings. "In the 50 years that I've been a master fisherman, I've only recently has success in catching a single one, because they're that difficult."

"Fifty years?" asked Ash.

"What the….?" said Jordan.

"He distinctly said 40 before." said Rotom.

"Regardless, this isn't a Pokémon a mere amateur could catch." said the fisherman when Lana appears behind him with a Feebas on her line.

"I caught one." said Lana, causing the fisherman to yell.

"Pop!" said Popplio.

"That was quick. Lucario." said Jordan and Meeko, looking at Lana. The master fisherman starts to laugh as Lana places the Feebas in front of him. "So now will you allow me to battle the Totem Pokémon?" asked Lana.

"Huh?" he said, looking up at her then clears his throat. "Over my 60-year career as a master fisherman, this is the first time I've seen a Feebas caught with such remarkable effortlessness and professional ease. Good. You may proceed."

"All right!" shouted Lana.

"Wow, Lana, that was awesome." said Ash.

"But now he said 60 years." said Rotom.

"Has he lost his mind?" asked Jordan, staring at the fisherman.

"However, the only way to battle the Totem Pokémon is with a boat." said the fisherman. "Did you happen to bring a boat along with you?"

"Huh? No, we didn't." said Ash.

"Even if we had a boat, did you see us carry one inside?" asked Jordan.

"Well, I might consider lending you a boat, but the rental fees are oftly expensive." said the fisherman.

"Huh?" said the trio as Popplio barked at him.

"But this time, I'd be willing to lend you a boat in exchange for this Feebas." he said, looking at the Feebas Lana caught.

"Uh!" said Ash, looking at the boat in front of them. "That thing will keep us from sinking?"

"Of course." said the fisherman. "That boat has been with me the past 70 years as a master fisherman in a struggle against the Totem Pokémon. Observe. The scars of my many battles."

"Now he's really losing it." said Jordan as Ash, Pikachu and Meeko laugh at the man.

"Exactly. Now its 70 years and his scars have a tendency to fall off." said Rotom, floating next to Jordan.

"I think the scars he has are fake." she tells him.

"You'll never find time to catch a Totem Pokémon if you keep sweating the small stuff." said the fisherman.

"Uh!" gasped Lana as she sees a Wishiwashi splashing around in a small pool of water near their feet. "Wishiwashi?"

"What's a Wishiwashi?" asked Ash and Jordan.

"Pikachu? Lucario?" asked Pikachu and Meeko.

"Wishiwashi, the small fry Pokémon, a water type." said Rotom. "When in a tough spot, their eyes tear up, which gives it the look of crying."

"Hey. Is it hurt or something?" asked Ash.

"I think so." said Lana, then digs through her bag. "Hold on just a moment."

"Don't worry, Wishiwashi." Jordan said to the Pokémon as Lana places a bandage on it. "We'll get you out and back in the lake."

"Wishi." said Wishiwashi as Lana holds its head.

"You'll be all right now." said Lana. "You are very brave."

"You're braver than I am." added Jordan. "I would've cried as the first sight of blood."

"And she does." said Ash.

"Wishiwashi! Wishi!" said Wishiwashi, jumping out of Lana's arms and back in the water, swimming aways from the group. "Wishiwashi!"

"I hope we meet again sometime." said Lana. Wishiwashi squeaked as it dived down into the lake and joined up with the school of other Wishiwashi. Ash rows the bow with Jordan, Lana and their Pokémon to the middle of the lake.

"Pika! Pika, Pika." said Pikachu with his arms raised and Popplio behind him.

"Pikachu is the Pokémon king of the lake!" said Jordan, smiling with Meeko.

"Lucario!" said Meeko.

"Okay, here I go." said Ash, then casts out his line before helping Jordan with hers.

"Pika?" asked Pikachu as Ash's line gets pulled.

"Hey look, I've already got a bite." said Ash, quickly grabbing his line and wheels it in, only to reveal a Magikarp. "Whoa, no."

"Magikarp! Karp! Karp! Karp! Magikarp!" said Magikarp, slapping Ash in the face with its fin and dives back in the water.

"It looks like that Magikarp really likes you." said Lana, laughing.

"And I only thought Azura would hit you." said Jordan.

"Azura?" asked Lana and Rotom.

"Her Gyarados." said Ash.

"You have a Gyarados?" asked Lana.

"Yep." said Jordan.

"Interesting. Gyarados are really hard to catch." said Rotom.

"Oh, they are when they're out in the ocean. It was an easy catch when I caught her." said Jordan. Just before she could tell Rotom and Lana how, Lana senses something.

"Hm." said Lana then starts to throughout her line. "I sense a big catch."

Jordan, Popplio and Meeko looked over the side. "I don't like the looks of that." said Jordan as Popplio whimpers when a shadow of Pokémon pass under their boat.

Underneath the water, the school of Wishiwashi gathered, creating the Totem Pokémon in the water. Popplio looked up at Lana and whimpers in warning. "Popplio, what is it?" she asked but was too late to get a response. "Huh? Whoa!"

"Lana!" shouted Ash and Jordan as the Totem Pokémon pulls hard on Lana's line.

"That's it. The real thing." said Lana.

"Huh?" said Ash and Jordan.

"Hmm?" said the fisherman. Soon as Lana pulls the Totem Pokémon out of the lake water, both the fisherman and the siblings yell in fear. "Pika! Cario!" screamed Pikachu and Meeko.

"Unknown Pokémon. Unknown Pokémon." said Rotom.

"Could it be…the one?" asked Lana as the Totem Pokémon dived back into the water.

"Ha-ha! In my 80 years as a master fisherman, I finally get a glimpse of the Totem Pokémon." said the fisherman, spinning around as he sings a jaunty tune.

"Huh?" said Ash, confused. "I thought you told us you battled it."

"You've got to stop living in the past." the fisherman told Ash. "This could only mean the Totem Pokémon has agreed to battle against that girl."

"No way!" said Ash and looks up at Lana. "You're going to battle the Totem Pokémon?"

"I will accept the challenge." said Lana.

"Good, because I'm not battling it." said Jordan, hanging onto the side of the boat with Meeko, her fingers becoming white. On Kiawe's farm, Kiawe was carrying a container while the others were sampling things his farm made. "Hey, you promised that you'd help." said Kiawe, setting down the container.

"But this freshly made cheese is just too yummy to stop yummy." said Mallow, taking another greedy bite of the cheese. "And next, I'll just have to try the butter. Mm! So delicious."

"This is amazing." said Lillie, watching Snowy try Moomoo milk. "I only added some fresh Moomoo milk to your food and look how much more you enjoy it."

"Vul." said Snowy.

"Put me down for another Moomoo ice cream and make it a double." said Sophocles, holding an ice cream cone.

"Dema." said Togedemaru.

"This is hopeless." sighed Kiawe, then looked up at the volcano. "I hope Ash, Jordan and Lana are having a great time fishing right now."

The Totem Pokémon jumps into the air before diving back in, causing Ash, Jordan and their Pokémon to hold onto the side of the boat. "You're not getting away!" shouted Lana as she tries to reel in the Totem Pokémon. Ash and Jordan scream as the Totem Pokémon takes them for a rode around the lake.

"Pika!" shouted Pikachu as he flies off.

"Pikachu!" shouted Ash, grabbing his hand. "Uh, Lana?"

"Pika!" said Pikachu.

"I'm all right." she tells him. "But it sure is strong."

"Okay, stop the roller coaster, I want to get off." said Jordan. "I want to get off right now!"

"Cario, Lucar!" shouted Meeko. Just then, the boat was heading towards a small little island in the middle of the lake, causing Lana to still reel in the Totem Pokémon as Ash, Jordan and their Pokémon to be tossed into the air.

"Ash, Jordan, no!" screamed Rotom as both brother and sister land in the water. As both of them see the Totem Pokémon swim towards them, Ash and Pikachu swim away as Jordan and Meeko tilt their heads to the side. Ash grabs his hat before he and Pikachu grab the three of them.

Once they reached the surface, Ash and Jordan coughed and gasped for air. "There you are, you two." said Rotom.

"That was scary." said Ash.

"Something was off about the Totem Pokémon." said Jordan as both of them look for their Pokémon.

"Hold on, where's Pikachu and Meeko?" asked Ash.

"Pi! (Gasps) Pikachu! Pi!" Pikachu called out from the water as he and Meeko were staying afloat.

"Pikachu!" shouted Ash. "Wait, that's….Get out of there quick!"

"Meeko! Swim towards us with Pikachu on your back!" shouted Jordan.

"Cario!" shouted Meeko as she swam towards shore.

"Pi! Pi!" said Pikachu, looking behind him and grabbing ahold of Meeko.

"Oh, no!" said Lana, trying to stop the Totem Pokémon from going after Pikachu and Meeko.

"Pi! Pika! Pika! Pi!" grunted Pikachu as he and Meeko quickly paddled to get to safety. "Pika!"

"Pikachu, Meeko, over here!" shouted Ash.

"Grab his hand, Meeko!" shouted Jordan.

"Popplio, go and help Pikachu and Meeko, quick!" said Lana, still holding onto her fishing line.

"Pop!" replied Popplio, then dives into the water and propelled Pikachu into the air.

"Pika!" shouted Pikachu.

"Lucario." said Meeko as Jordan pulls her out of the water.

"Pikachu, Meeko, are you three okay?" asked Ash as Jordan pulls Meeko close to her.

"Pika!" panted Pikachu.

"Thanks, Popplio, that was great." said Ash.

"You're the greatest." said Jordan. The Totem Pokémon growled as it pulled back on Lana's fishing line.

"(Grunts) No, you don't!" shouted Lana as the Totem Pokémon pulled a little more of the line.

"In my 99-year career as a master fisherman, that's the most amazing battle I've ever seen." said the fisherman.

"His career keeps growing." said Rotom.

"And it's really creeping me out that he's adding more years to it." said Jordan, nodding her head in agreement with Rotom as Lana holds on tight.

"Hope I don't get pulled in! It sure feels like it." said Lana, pulling her fishing line back.

"Pop! Pop!" Popplio yapped to Lana, telling her to keep the Totem Pokémon steady.

"Can you distract the Totem Pokémon using Bubble Beam?" Lana asked.

"Pop!" said Popplio and dives into the lake, going after the Totem Pokémon and uses Bubble Beam at its face. The Totem Pokémon growls as scares Popplio, who then squeals in terror as she runs away. Once back on land, Popplio looks up at Lana, whimpering as tears filled her eyes.

"You're right." said Lana, seeing the terror on Popplio's face. "It's a scary thing for you to go through." Popplio whimpers again. "Sure, Popplio. I'll handle this. Thanks."

The Totem Pokémon then pulls hard on Lana's line, pulling her forward. "Pop. Pop." Popplio called out.

"No, Lana." said Ash.

"Stay back." said Lana.

"But you can't reel it in all by yourself." said Rotom.

"It's too big for you to handle." said Jordan.

"That's where your wrong." groaned Lana, standing up from the ground with a rock as stable ground and Popplio whimpers behind her. She grunts as the Totem Pokémon pulls on her fishing line again, trying to pull her into the water.

Popplio whimpers, scared for Lana. Determined, Popplio yaps and dives back into the lake's water to help. "Popplio!" cried Lana as Popplio runs past her.

"Pop!" said Popplio as she hits the water and heads towards the Totem Pokémon. The Totem Pokémon glares at Popplio, who wanted to swim away but shakes her head instead.

"Pop!" squealed Popplio, using Bubble Beam again against the Totem Pokémon, only causing it to growl and chase after her.

"Whoa! Uh!" said Lana as the Totem Pokémon jumps over her, Jordan and Ash, almost taking her with it.

"Pop!" said Popplio, sending another round of Bubble Beam at the Totem Pokémon as Lana grunts, pulling back on her fishing line.

"Pika." said Pikachu as they see a dark mass coming to the surface.

"Whoa, you're almost there." said Ash.

"Pika! Pika!" said Pikachu.

"Go Lana!" said Jordan.

"Lucario!" said Meeko. Popplio squealed and howled as she was blasted out of the water by the Totem Pokémon. "No, Popplio!" cried Lana.

"What happened?" asked Ash as he and Jordan shoved their faces into the water. "Huh?"

They then see a pink, water type Pokémon jump into the air, calming the Totem Pokémon down. "Alomomola." said Ash.

"Huh?" said Lana.

"Alomomola, the caring Pokémon." said Rotom. "A water type, it can use Heal Pulse to help friends recover."

Lana picks up her fishing rod and starts reeling in the Totem Pokémon again. "Pika?" Pikachu asked.

"Leave that one to me." said Ash and sends his lure. "All right!" Alomomola sees Ash's lure and takes a bite. "I got a bite." said Ash.

"Pika!" said Pikachu.

"Meeko! Help me keep Ash down." said Jordan as she grabs one of her brother's legs.

"Lucario!" said Meeko, nodding her head as she grabs ahold of the other.

"Whatever you do, don't try to rush it." reminded Rotom.

"I know that already." said Ash. In the lake, Alomomola swims around, trying hard to bring Ash into the water.

"Now's your chance. Do it!" said Ash, struggling against Alomomola and Lana starts to reel the Totem Pokémon in. Both Ash and Lana grunted as they struggled against both Pokémon.

"All right, you two, good luck." said Rotom, then floats down towards Jordan and Meeko. "How are you doing?"

"We're good." said Jordan.

"Lucar, Lucar." said Meeko.

"Okay, Pikachu, get ready." said Ash.

"Pika!" said Pikachu. Ash shouted as Alomomola wails, coming out of the water.

"Now, Pikachu. Use Electro Ball!" shouted Ash.

"Pika! Pika! Pi!" shouted Pikachu, releasing Electro Ball from his tail.

Alomomola groaned as Pikachu's Electro Ball hits its side, causing an explosion in the air and heads back into the water. Alomomola cries as it swims away into the ocean. "All right!" shouted Ash and Jordan.

"Pika! Pika!" shouted Pikachu.

"Cario! Cario!" shouted Meeko.

"Lana, we're all set." said Ash.

"Thanks very much, Ash and Jordan." said Lana, still reeling in the Totem Pokémon. "Now it's my turn to win this!"

"That's the Totem Pokémon for you. It's the perfect rival for a master fisherman like me with a career spanning 99 years and 1 month." said the fisherman.

"Oh, good grief." said Jordan and Rotom.

"I think you've almost got it, Lana." said Ash. Behind him and Jordan, they heard an angry Popplio pop up.

"Ok…..Popplio is mad." said Jordan. "And is back with a water vengeance."

"Pop! Pop!" said Popplio.

"Popplio!" exclaimed Lana.

"Huh!"

"Pika!"

"Lucario!"

"Pop!" yapped Popplio, diving into the water once more, swimming towards the Totem Pokémon, gaining its attention. Soon as Popplio got close, she swims away with the Totem Pokémon right on her tail, growling. "Popplio, now!" shouted Lana as she saw her Pokémon's head pop out of the water. Out of the water, the Totem Pokémon roars at Popplio, glaring at her as Popplio learns a new move.

"Huh?" said a shocked Lana.

"An Aqua Jet." said Ash.

"Go Popplio." said Jordan as Popplio aims her Aqua Jet at the Totem Pokémon breaking the Totem Pokémon into smaller Pokemon.

"Awesome!" said Ash as Popplio came over to them.

"Pika!" said Pikachu.

"Lucari." said Meeko.

"Wishiwashi?" asked Lana.

"Huh?" said Rotom. "That's amazing. The Totem Pokémon was really a huge group of Wishiwashi schooled together."

"It took that many Wishiwashi, schooled together to make a Totem Pokémon?" asked Jordan. "Cool!"

"That's right. Exactly. Of course." said the fisherman. "Fishing for the Totem Pokémon, the discovering its true identity. Brilliant! Coming from a master fisherman with a career spanning of 99 years and 2 months."

"Rotom?" asked Jordan, glaring at the fisherman.

"Yeah, Jordan?"

"Get my water gun." she tells the Pokedex. "A certain fisherman is going to get soaked."

"Wishiwashi are small, but schooled together are strong." said Ash, holding Jordan's water gun away from her as she tries to reach for it.

"Give me my water gun, Ash." said Jordan, jumping to get her water gun from him.

"Hm." said Lana, nodding in agreement.

"Huh?"

"Huh? That's the Wishiwashi from before." said Lana. The bandaged Wishiwashi swims towards Lana, then opens its mouth to reveal a Water-Type Z-Crystal.

"Is that a water type Z-Crystal?" asked Ash.

"It's so beautiful." said Jordan.

"That's for me?" asked Lana.

"Wishiwashi." squeaked Wishiwashi as Lana retrieves the Z-Crystal. "Wishi!"

"How are you feeling?" asked Jordan.

"Wishiwashi!" Wishiwashi squeaked, giving her a smile.

"Lucar." said Meeko, returning the smile.

"Thanks for the fun fishing Pokémon battle." said Lana. "What great spirit."

"Wishiwashi!" said Wishiwashi, swimming back to its friends.

"You were great, Popplio, and you can use Aqua Jet." said Lana, praising Popplio.

"Pop!" Popplio squealed softly.

"This is what you've been waited for." said Olivia, once everyone made it back to the Pokémon center. She handed Lana her blue Z-Ring. "Thanks so much. It's beautiful." said Lana, placing it around her wrist and inserts the Water-type Z-Crystal.

"Whoa! That's great." said Ash. "Looks so cool."

"Lana. It can't be." said Mallow.

"But is it?" asked Lillie.

"Waterium Z and I got it by catching Mega Gyarados." said Lana.

"Mega Gyarados?" all but Ash and Jordan asked.

"Kidding. Meh." teased Lana, causing them to groan.

"You guys should know better than to let her lead you on like that." said Jordan, walking past them in pajamas.

Narrator: After a battle with the Totem Pokémon, Lana receives a Z-Crystal. Now we wait to see what kind of Z-Move Lana will demonstrate, using her new Z-Ring…

Jordan: Which is a beautiful color, I might add.

"Wishi! Wishi! Wishiwashi! Washi!" said Wishiwashi, jumping out of the lake.
