Over the ocean, a flock of Wingulls were calling out to each other.
Narrator: Ah. Morning in Alola, where Wingull happily take to the blue skies, while Ash, Jordan and Mallow visit Lana's house.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu as he and the other Pokémon were eating.
"I'm so glad to see Popplio doing so well!" said Mallow.
"Thanks for coming all this way." said Lana.
"After yesterday, it was the only thing I had on my mind!" said Mallow.
"Yeah, that was some surprise." said Ash.
"But it was a great surprise." said Jordan.
[Flashback]
"You can do it, Lana!" cheered Ash.
"Go, Lana!" cheered Jordan.
"For sure! I know you can!" cheered Mallow.
"Pika! Pika!" cheered Pikachu.
"Lucario!" cheered Meeko.
"Steenee!" cheered Steenee.
They were on the beach with Lana and Popplio. "Right." said Lana, standing behind Popplio. "Let's do it! Hydro Vortex, let's go!" Lana starts doing the Water type Z-Move.
"Pop!" said Popplio as she starts doing Hydro Vortex. She jumps into the ocean and creates an under-water hurricane. Everyone back on the beach were excited, when Pikachu and Meeko cheered for Popplio. Back in the water, Popplio gets dizzy from trying Hydro Vortex and pops up, crying out in fear.
"She's acting like…" said Mallow.
"….something's not right." finished Ash.
"Is that supposed to happen when using a Waterium Z?" asked Jordan, worried about Popplio.
"Popplio! Popplio!" Lana cried out as she rushes over to Popplio, who finally came back on land. "You all right, Popplio?"
[Flashback ends]
"Popplio was wobbly for a while afterwards." said Lana.
"Ah, she must have gotten dizzy." said Mallow.
"Yeah, and Popplio was so close!" said Ash as Popplio, Pikachu, Steenee and Meeko playfully chased each other down the beach.
"I don't think Popplio gets it yet." said Lana. "After all, she hasn't really done much battling."
"Sure she will, Lana. I bet Popplio will get the hang of Hydro Vortex." said Jordan, then let go of Ash's hand as she chases after the Pokémon.
"Hey, that's okay." said Ash. "And Jordan's right. She'll get the hang of this! After all, Lycanroc and Emma got it!"
"Mm-hmm." said Mallow, nodding and Lana smiles.
"Popplio! We'll be fine!" Lana called out to Popplio who then barks in agreement.
"Huh?" they said as the quartet turns around to see what was going on further down the beach.
"Whats going on?" asked Ash and Jordan as the four sees a crowd gathering on the pier.
On the pier, there was a woman, Ida who was playing a lyre and her partner was sending out colorful water balloons. "Brionne." squealed Brionne as she spins around.
"Ta-da!" said Ida as Brionne stood on a purple water balloon.
"Brionne!"
"Amazing!" said a woman in the crowd.
"A Brionne." said Lana, seeing Brionne in the middle.
"Whats a Brionne?" asked Ash.
"That Brionne is so cute!" said Jordan, smiling from ear to ear.
"Lucar!" said Meeko, agreeing with Jordan.
"That's my cue to give you both an explanation." said Rotom. "Brionne. The Pop Star Pokémon. A water type. Brionne can make balloons in all sorts of colors, and performs a joyful dance when its Trainer needs cheering up."
"It's adorable…." said Lana.
"Pop, Pop, Pop." said Popplio, cheering and clapping her fins as she gains Brionne's attention.
"Brionne?" asked Brionne, seeing Popplio with her trainer then creates a small colored balloon. "Brionne." Brionne sends it over to Popplio.
"Popp." said Popplio and bounces the purple balloon back to Brionne.
"Brionne." Brionne complimented Popplio and starts to create more colorful balloons for the crowd.
"Ta-da!" Ida said again.
"Beautiful." said another woman in the crowd.
"Pop. Pop." said Popplio as she and Lana were amazed.
"All right then, the last act of our performance." said Ida, pointing her arm out towards the ocean. "Darling Kanoa, are you ready?"
"Huh?"
"All ready on my end." he replied.
"Way out there is my dear Kanoa!" Ida said to the crowd. "And now, as we prepare to borrow from the unlimited powers of Alola's Island Guardians….We prove our love!"
"Ah! Bright light!" said Jordan, covering her eyes.
"She's making a pose…." said Mallow.
"It's a Z-move." said Lana as Ida moves in sync with Brionne.
"Embrace these! Our love and courage! Use Hydro Vortex!" shouted Ida and Brionne jumps into the ocean. She then starts creating a powerful under water hurricane, bringing Kanoa under the water with his surf board. "Pika!" Pikachu said, shocked.
"Yeah!" shouted Kanoa as he pops out of the water on top of what now seems to be a standing still water cyclone. "Yeah, yeah, yeah!"
"No way!" said Jordan as her eyes went wide.
"Lucario!" said Meeko as Kanoa starts laughing.
"Well, what do you know?" he asked from the top of the water cyclone. "I'm surfing much, much higher than usual!" Everyone was amazed at what Brionne did with Kanoa. "That's incredible." said a man from the crowd.
"What a Z-move!" said a woman.
"I didn't know you could use it that way." said another man.
"Thanks." said Ida, facing the crowd. "Thank you, thank you all so much."
"Oh, wow!" said Kanoa as Brionne hops onto his surf board.
"Brionne!" she squealed, releasing her colorful balloons over the water. Determined, Lana starts walking over to Ida. "Hey Lana, what's wrong?" asked Mallow as water type trainer walks past her.
"I know that look." said Jordan as Lana walks past her. "That's the look Ash always has when he battles."
"Uh, please…" Lana said to Ida as she takes the woman's hand into hers. "Make me your apprentice! I beg of you!"
"Really? An apprentice?!" asked Rotom.
"So soon?" asked Jordan.
"I'm in complete awe of what you did!" said Lana as Wingull flew over them. "You were perfectly in sync with your Brionne. We want to use a Z-Move like that, too!"
"Well, I understand, but…." said Ida.
"Why not be her teacher?" Kanoa asked her. "We're going to stay here for a while…."
"Thanks so much." said Lana, excitedly.
"You see, dear, we're called Seafolk, and we travel the world's many oceans." Ida explained to Lana as Popplio goes up to Brionne. "Many members of our family buy things from different lands and then sell them in order to make a living."
"Brionne." said Brionne, rubbing her nose against Popplio's and smiled.
"But us? We're different." said Kanoa. "I like to think of myself as a treasure hunter."
"What do you mean by that?" asked Ash.
"What kind of treasure do you find?" asked Jordan.
"I hunt for treasure, of course. All kinds of treasure." he tells them. "Valuable treasure from the ocean's bottom. Mounds and mounds! Then I haul it up."
"Awesome!" said Ash.
"Cool." said Jordan.
"Wow. I want to see that sunken treasure." said Lana.
"Uh, well….I havent brought any up just yet." said Kanoa.
"Kanoa is in the middle of pursuing his dream." said Ida, then holds up her ukulele. "That's why Brionne and I do what we do. To put food on the table."
"Uh-huh." said Mallow.
"Right…." said Jordan.
"But it's different this time. I actually have a lead." said Kanoa, then digs through his jacket and pulls out some paper. "Look at all these documents I found! A very long time ago, a ship was caught in a storm near Melemele Island. Supposedly, all its cargo sank with the ship. So I've come here to find that sunken ship and all of its valuable cargo!"
"Whoa." said Ash and Jordan.
"And that's why Brionne and I preform the way that we do." said Ida.
"Brionne." said Brionne in agreement. "But if you'd really like to be my apprentice, I can help you out."
"We'll train together." said Lana.
"I won't let you down! You'll see!" said Kanoa, waving as he takes off while Ida trains with Lana.
"Good luck. Bye." said Ida before facing Lana and the others. "Shall we begin?"
"That would be amazing." said Lana.
"Brionne?" Brionne asked Popplio.
"Popplio." replied Popplio.
"Popplio's so excited." said Ash.
"What kind of training will you do?" asked Rotom.
"I'm curious to know too." said Jordan.
"Lucario." said Meeko.
"So, here's the thing: from what you told me Popplio doesn't have enough power to use a Z-Move." Ida explained to Lana. "So, first we need to do a little strength training!"
"Right!" said Lana.
"Pop!" said Popplio.
"Brionne, make a balloon." said Ida.
"Brionne!" squealed Brionne, making a balloon and hands it to her trainer.
"Brionne's balloons are extremely strong." said Ida with Brionne's balloon in her hands, showing the quartet how strong it is. "Try popping then with one of Popplio's balloons. Okay, Lana, let's go!"
"Right, Ida. Make a balloon. Go!" Lana said to Popplio.
"Pop!" said Popplio and starts creating a balloon.
"Here!" said Ida as she tosses the balloon into the air as Popplio, sends her balloon towards it only to be popped instantly. "Nope. Not quite. All right then, Brionne."
"Brionne!" said Brionne as she makes more balloons for Popplio.
"Make a balloon. Let's go." said Lana.
"Pop!" Popplio said, determined to strengthen her balloons as the next balloon popped.
"Make it stronger." said Ida.
"Bri!" said Brionne.
"Again!" said Lana.
"Pop!" said Popplio, sending out another balloon.
"One more time!" Ida called out.
"Go!" shouted Lana.
"Again!"
"Right!"
"Stronger!"
"Let's go!"
Ida and Lana kept going with Popplio until the sun was setting on the beach. "Pikachu. Lucari." said Pikachu and Meeko sleepily as Ash and Jordan yawned.
"Again!" said Ida.
"Right!" said Lana.
"Steenee." said Steenee, sleeping against Mallow.
"They're still at it…." said Ash.
"Is it time to go home yet?" asked a bleary-eyed Jordan, causing Ash to chuckle at her.
"Yeah, Ash! We're tired and sleepy." said Meeko.
"Again!" said Lana as Popplio sends out another balloon which pops again.
"Pop." said Popplio, sad that her balloons weren't strong enough.
"Oh, Popplio." said Lana.
"Brionne!" said Brionne, telling Popplio to get up.
"Popplio." said Popplio, telling Brionne that she was tired.
"That's enough for today." said Ida as Popplio struggled to get up.
"Huh?" said Lana, then looks back at Popplio. "Right…"
"I'm back." said Kanoa, walking up to them.
"How'd you do?" asked Ida.
"I searched the south, but didn't find a thing." he said to her.
"Oh." she replied. "I'm sure that you'll find something tomorrow."
"Yeah." said Kanoa as Ash and Jordan stood up while Mallow and Steenee continued sleeping.
"You're so kind, Ida." said Lana.
"Well, of course. He's my sweetheart." said Ida. "Back when I was younger, Brionne and I weren't able to use Z-Moves either. But Kanoa was always right there, cheering us on."
"Wow…." said Lana in awe.
"Yeah, Z-Moves are the best." Ida said to Lana before looking out into the ocean. "And no matter if the ocean is calm or stormy…it will always be there and willing to help you anyway it can."
"Calm or stormy….." said Lana as she looks out at the ocean. Night fell around Lana's house as Sarah and Harper were both asleep on the bottom bunk while Lana laid awake next to Popplio on the top bunk.
"Calm or stormy…." Lana whispered to herself before turning to Popplio. "We'll do it together. I know it."
"Pop." Popplio said in her sleep. The next day, Mallow, Jordan, Ash and Lana were back, watching Ida and Brionne perform. With help from Ash, Jordan and their Pokémon, Mallow brought lunch to Lana and Popplio. It was dark when Kanoa was asking a man, following a lead.
At the Pokémon school, everyone was helping Lana and encouraging Popplio. As the sun sets on the beach, Popplio high fins Brionne while Kanoa looks through some papers. The next day, one of Popplio's balloons was able to push Brionne's away, causing Lana and Popplio to be shocked. Ida and the others were ecstatic about this as Ida gave Lana a thumbs up. Proud of her partner, Lana hugs Popplio.
"Make a balloon! Let's go!" said Lana.
"Pop!" said Popplio, making three balloons and aims them at Brionne's, finally popping each one.
"Success!" exclaimed Ida as everyone cheered for Popplio.
"Yay! We did it!" cheered Lana.
"Excellent!" shouted Rotom.
"Pop!" squealed Popplio as she and Lana grab hands and fins.
"Popplio, wow!" said Ash.
"You, too, Lana!" said Mallow.
"Go Popplio! I'm happy for the both of you!" said Jordan.
"Ida, I got a strong lead!" Kanoa called out as he runs down the beach towards them. "I met someone off the coast who said they had heard of a sunken ship near here!"
"That's wonderful!" said Ida, beaming. "You may be onto something this time!"
"Yup! It's finally time I find some treasure!" said Kanoa.
"That's awesome!" said Ash as he, Jordan, Mallow and Lana ran up. "Do you know where the treasure is?"
"According to the documents, its Mystic Water!" said Kanoa.
"Its Mystic Water?" asked Mallow.
"Wait, that's a treasure?" asked Rotom.
"Why do they call it, Mystic Water?" asked Jordan.
"Mystic Water enhances Water Type moves." explained Lana.
"Updating info right away!" said Rotom.
"Cool!" said Jordan.
"I wanna see it!" said Ash.
"All right! I'm sailing out tomorrow. How about we all go?" asked Kanoa.
"All right!" the kids and Rotom shouted.
"Pika! Steenee! Cario!" said Pikachu, Steenee and Meeko.
"It's going to be an early morning, so that'll be all for today's training." said Ida.
"Right." said Lana. In the distance from the beach, Team Rocket overheard the conversation. "I heard that." said Jessie.
"Clear as a bell." said Meowth.
"Following treasure boy was worth it." said James.
"But soon we'll be the treasure team." said Jessie.
"Watch us gleam…." said Meowth.
"Wobbuffet." said Wobbuffet as the others giggled. Out on Ida and Kanoa's Steelix like ship, they set sail towards Mystic Water. "It should be in this area." said Kanoa, coming to a full stop.
"Pika." Pikachu said in awe.
"Lucar." said Meeko.
"Hey, tell me something!" said Ash. "How do you search the bottom of the ocean?"
"That's where I need Ida and Brionne's help come in." said Kanoa. "So, if you don't mind, dear…"
"Okay. Brionne, it's all up to you!" said Ida.
"Brionne!" said Brionne, then turns to Kanoa. "Bri. Brionne." Brionne then creates a balloon around Kanoa. "Great! Now you just hang on tight…." Kanoa said from inside the balloon then heads out into the ocean with Brionne.
"Brionne!" said Brionne and takes Kanoa into the water.
"So cool!" said Ash and Jordan.
"You two be careful! Please?" Ida called out after them. Once under the water's surface, Kanoa sees the sunken ship in front of him.
"That's it." Kanoa said as he and Brionne get closer. "Yup! No doubt about it." As Kanoa and Brionne approach the ship, he sees a Pokémon attached to the side of the ship. "Wait. That's…."
"Huh?" said Ash as Kanoa and Brionne came back up to the surface.
"How was it? Find anything?" Ida asked.
"I found the ship. Just what I've been looking for." Kanoa replied.
"But is there a problem?" she asked.
"It already has a visitor." Kanoa tells her.
"A visitor?" asked Ash.
"What kind of visitor?" asked Jordan, wondering what Water type Pokémon it was.
"Not a horrible one, right?" asked Meeko.
"It's a Pokémon called Dhelmise." said Kanoa.
"That's my cue again!" said Rotom. "Dhelmise, the Sea Creeper Pokémon. A Grass and Ghost type. The anchor Dhelmise throws around can smash even the hardest of rocks."
"I know about that." said Lana. "Dad told me to keep away from it no matter what."
"So is it going to be hard to get the treasure?" asked Mallow.
"Seafolks know how to deal with all sorts of dangerous Pokémon, just like that Dhelmise." answered Ida.
"You see, it likes to attach itself to things like ships." Kanoa explained. "But Dhelmise are totally uninterested in anything that can't be used as parts, which means…as long as we approach without agitating it, we're fine!"
"So, chums, how do you like our new submarine?" James asked as he, Jessie and Meowth pedaled inside.
"Modern. Feather-light pedaling." said Jessie.
"Having motors to help us push these pedals around makes drudgery a balmy breeze." said Meowth.
"Wobbuffet." Wobbuffet said in agreement.
"Forward ho!" said Jessie.
"Yo ho!" said James and Meowth as the Team Rocket Bruxish submarine goes down for its first dive.
"So! It looks like their ship is in our sights!" said Jessie as a couple of arms came out of the sub. "There's nothing like things going without a hitch! Yo-ho-ho! Down we go!"
"On with the show!" said James and Meowth.
"Wobbu!" said Wobbuffet but was cut off when their submarine hits something metal.
"Now what happened?" questioned Jessie.
"A chain?" asked James.
"Dhelmise!" bellowed Dhelmise, annoyed that something hit its chain then gets closer to Team Rocket. "Dhelmise!"
"Is that a Pokémon?" asked Jessie as Dhelmise takes a peek inside and starts to get a little angry.
"Dhelmise!" said Dhelmise.
"Meowth? Translate." Jessie tells the cat.
"Sounds like 'What are you wacky weirdos doing with my ship?'" said Meowth.
"Wait. Is that the ship's captain?" Jessie asked.
"Dhelmise." threatened Dhelmise.
"'If we get any closer, our cruising days are over.'" Meowth repeated Dhelmise's threat.
"Of all the….That piece of sea junk!" said Jessie, glaring at Dhelmise. "We should put it on the very next cruise to nowhere!"
"Uh…." said James, taking a look at his handbook and shows Jessie the Pokemon. "It's called a Dhelmise. It becomes uncontrollable when angry and strong enough to knock out a Wailord with just one blow!"
"Oh…." squeaked Jessie as Dhelmise knocked off one of the arms from Team Rocket's submarine.
"Dhelmise!" Dhelmise commanded, wanting Team Rocket to leave.
"I think we agitated it enough." said James.
"So what now?" asked Jessie.
"You're not getting it, bub! This wasn't our idea!" said Meowth, knowing exactly where to put the blame. "They put us up to this! Yeah. Come on. You know. THEM."
"Dhel?" asked Dhelmise and looks up at the surface to see Kanoa's ship. "Dhelmise."
"Back up…." said Team Rocket as they backed up their submarine. "and book!"
"Well then, Brionne, one more time?" Kanoa asked Brionne. Before Brionne could even make a balloon, the boat was pushed to one side of the water. "Brionne! Pika! Lucario!" said Brionne, Pikachu and Meeko.
"Whats going on?" asked Ash.
"Pika!" said a shocked Pikachu.
"Did we hit a Pokémon?" asked Jordan.
"Lucar." said Meeko, shrugging then looked around. "Lucario."
"Dhelmise!" said Kanoa as it rose from the ocean.
"Dhelmise!" bellowed a seething Dhelmise as it aimed its anchor at Kanoa's ship.
"It's so angry." said Lana as its anchor made contact.
"But why?" asked Ash and Jordan.
"It doesn't matter!" said Kanoa. "Come on! We need to get below deck!"
"Right!" said Ash, Jordan and Lana. Once below deck, Kanoa drives his boat away from Dhelmise. "Dhel….mise!" shouted Dhelmise as it throws its anchor at the back of the ship, not letting them go.
"Pika." said Pikachu as he, Jordan and Meeko held onto Ash.
"It's dragging us down!" said Lana.
"Not again, not again, not again!" said Jordan, twitching her head a little bit.
"You're okay, Jordan." Ash tells her. "It's not going to be like last time. I promise."
"Yeah….but last time Officer Jenny had a sea funeral for us, Ash." Jordan tells him.
"Come on, buddy." Ash said to Pikachu.
"Pika!" said Pikachu, hugging Jordan before going with Ash.
"That's one scary Pokémon." said Meowth as he, Jessie and James watched Dhelmise bring the boat down.
"Nice driving. Nautical kudos." James said to Jessie.
"Now that its distracted, time to get back to work." said Jessie.
"Whats that? You want to continue?" asked James.
"Of course…..You know winners never quit!" said Jessie.
"That must be it." said Ash as he, Mallow and Pikachu stood on deck. "Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!"
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu. "Pikachu!" Pikachu releases Thunderbolt from his body and aims it at Dhelmise. "It didn't work." said Ash, seeing Pikachu's Thunderbolt didn't affect it.
"Then I'll do it." said Ida. "Brionne! Use Aqua Jet!"
"Brionne!" squealed Brionne as water surrounds her body and dives into the ocean, aiming right at Dhelmise's body.
"Dhelmise!" groaned Dhelmise as it felt Aqua Jet.
"It's working! Brionne, one more time!" said Ida as Lana and Jordan them on deck.
"Bri!" yipped Brionne and goes for round two with Aqua Jet.
"Dhel!" screamed Dhelmise as Brionne knocks it back, causing the anchor to be removed from the end of the ship.
"That did it!" said Mallow.
"Brionne, you're the best!" Ash called out.
"Go, Brionne!" shouted Jordan.
"Lucari!" shouted Meeko.
"Brionne!" squealed Brionne as she heads back to the surface when suddenly, Dhelmise swings its anchor at her.
"Brionne!" she screamed in pain as Brionne gets knocked out of the water. Soon enough, Ida catches Brionne in her arms. "Brionne! Hang in there!" said Ida as Brionne faints. "Kanoa! We've got to get Brionne to a Pokémon center right away."
"Ida!" said Lana, getting her attention as they all look out to the ocean around them.
"Look at the waves." said Ash.
"Is it using Whirlpool?" asked Mallow.
"If it is…..then Dragon Rage wouldn't top it." said Jordan, remembering what happened back in Kanto.
"Get back inside, quick!" said Kanoa.
"Right!" said the kids.
"Pika! Pika!" said Pikachu.
"You got it!" said Jordan.
"Lucario!" said Meeko, picking up Jordan and carried her inside. Deep down in the ocean, Team Rocket starts cutting the ship open. "Are you done yet?" asked Jessie, impatiently.
"Take a deep breath, all right?" James asked. "This is all I have to work with What's going on?"
"I don't know. But I'm gettin' sick." said Meowth as water swirls around them. Outside of the submarine and under the boat, Dhelmise uses Whirlpool.
"Steenee!" said Steenee as she summersaulted across the ship's floor.
"Pikachu!" said Pikachu, fearfully as Mallow catches Steenee.
"Steenee!" said Mallow, as she picks her up. "You okay?"
"Steenee." said Steenee in reply.
"It's dragging us under with its Whirlpool!" said Ida.
"The ship's not powerful enough to break free!" said Kanoa. Scared, Lana pulls Popplio close to her as Popplio worriedly looks over at Brionne, laying on the floor. "Go, go, go!" said James.
"We'll never say never!" said Jessie.
"Though it feels like we're in the spin cycle." said Meowth.
"I'm clean enough, thank you!" said James.
"Wobbuffet!" added Wobbuffet.
"Stop whining and PEDAL!" demanded Jessie when out of nowhere, Bewear crashes outside of their sub, looking inside.
"Oh, NO!" screamed Team Rocket as Bewear bursts inside and brings them to the surface. "We're off with a watery blast….."
"Wobbuffet." said Wobbuffet as Team Rocket and Bewear leave the Bruxish submarine behind.
"This is getting really bad!" said Kanoa.
"Pop." said Popplio, turning to Lana. "Pop, Pop, Lio."
"Ida! We'll use the Z-Move!" said Lana, knowing what Popplio was going to do.
"Huh?" said Ida, turning to Lana.
"If we make a Whirlpool that circles in reverse…" said Lana.
"We could neutralize it!" said Ida.
"Right! Come on! Let's go!" said Lana.
"What if…." Ida started to say but sees the determined look on Lana's and Popplio's faces. "But, Lana….Okay, you're on."
Walking out on deck, Ida and Lana looked out at the water. "That's the center! Aim well." said Ida.
"Right!" said Lana as the ship rocks back and forth.
"Now, stay calm and you'll be fine." Ida tells Lana.
"After all that training you did, I know you can do it!" said Ash.
"Yeah!" said Jordan.
"Just believe in Popplio!" said Mallow and Lana nodded. Both trainer and Pokémon closed their eyes, visualizing. "Popplio! Ready?" said Lana.
"Pop!" replied Popplio and Lana starts her Z-Move.
"Here we go…..past the ocean's horizon!" said Lana. "Now….Hydro Vortex!"
"Pop!" shouted Popplio as she dives into the water and swims around in the opposite direction of Dhelmise's Whirlpool.
"Dhelmise." said Dhelmise, confident that it will sink Kanoa's ship while Popplio's Whirlpool came closer. "Mise!"
"Pop!" screamed Popplio as her Whirlpool made contact, making Dhelmise become shocked and frustrated as it lets go of the undersea floor. At the ocean's surface, Dhelmise's Whirlpool stopped.
"Pop!" said Popplio, happy and proud of herself as she pops up in the water and into Lana's arms. "Pop!"
"Popplio! We did it!" said Lana. The sun sets on the ocean as everyone waits for Kanoa to come back.
"How did it go?" Ida asked as he surfaces.
"Look." he said, holding a box under his arm.
"Onne." said Brionne as Kanoa held it out to Ida.
"Oh, wow!" said Mallow as they opened the box.
"Awesome!" said Ash.
"It's beautiful!" said Lana.
"So that's…..Mystic Water!" exclaimed Ida.
"It's more than beautiful….." said Jordan. "It's…..its….what's the word I'm looking for?"
"Lucar." suggested Meeko.
"For you." said Kanoa as he places it around Ida's neck.
"What are you doing?" she asked.
"For all the trouble I caused." said Kanoa. "And…You're a sweetheart."
"Oh, you're the sweetheart." said Ida, pushing him as she blushes.
"Oh, no!" he shouted as falls back into the water.
"Pika." Pikachu said sheepishly as Popplio claps her fins in amusement.
"Lucario." said Meeko.
"Steenee." said Steenee, smiling.
"Congratulations on mastering your Z-Move, Lana." said Ida, once they had made it back to Melemele Island.
"It's all thanks to you, Ida." said Lana as Brionne pats Popplio's head.
"Brionne." said Brionne.
"Popplio." said a tearful Popplio.
"Are you going to continue searching the seas for treasure?" asked Mallow.
"Of course!" said Kanoa.
"Remember, we're the seafolk." said Ida.
"The ocean will always keep us connected." Kanoa said. "I'm sure we'll meet again someday."
"I can't wait to see how much my apprentice has grown." added Ida.
"I hope so." said Jordan.
"Yay!" said Lana as Mallow, Ash and Jordan giggled.
Narrator: Under the watchful eye of Ida, Lana and Popplio have mastered their Z-Move. Now, their dreams for success are sure to grow larger and larger, just like Popplio's balloons….
Jordan: Does that include me and Ash's dreams too?

Back in the ocean, Dhelmise seems to be delighted about something. "Dhelmise." it said as it walked across the ocean floor with Team Rocket's submarine.
