Chapter 27

Now Lisia, Alice, and I are trying to make another costume for Pikachu, and this time the costume is a Lucha Libre Costume, which gives a lot of tough and villain vibes. And because of it, we're going to use the Tough Moves this time.

1. Strong Shining Road: This move is combined from Take Down and Fury Attack to show its strong movements.

2. Ballistic Bullet: The move is combined from Focus Punch and Power-Up Punch to move the fists like bullets.

3. Intrepid Skies: The move is combined from Hurricane and Sky Drop to make opponents trap in the skies.

4. Blighted Force TG: The move is combined from Gunk Shot and Sludge Bomb to create a forcefield of poison.

5. Supershear Quake: The move is combined from Magnitude and Earthquake to create a giant quake in the ground.

6. These Stone Walls: The move is combined from Rock Tomb and Stone Edge to create stone walls to trap opponents.

7. Bold Transformation: The move is combined from Steamroller and Sticky Web to create new disguises for Bug Pokemon.

8. Agony Theater: The move is combined from Curse and Spite to create a show of horrors.

9. Audaces Fortuna Iuvat: The move is combined from Bullet Punch and Iron Defense to show the blessing of this tough Steel Pokemon.

10. Devouring Inferno: The move is combined from Lava Plume and Incinerate to create a giant heat wave that devours the opponent.

11. Soaking Blessed Rain: The move is combined from Muddy Water and Scald to soak the opponent with muddy and hot water.

12. Impressive Flower Garden: The move is combined from Seed Bomb and Power Whip to make an impressive garden.

13. Thunderbolt Aftershock: The move is combined from Wild Charge and Thunder Wave to create a Thunderbolt-like move that paralyzes the opponent.

14. Anthem: The move is combined from Power Swap and Guard Swap to boost the stats of the tough Pokemon.

15. Powerful Blizzard: The move is combined from Blizzard and Hail to create a powerful blizzard.

16. Agent of Divinity: The move is combined from Dragon Tail and Dual Chop to show its god-like movements.

17. Moonshadow Sorrow: The move is combined from Memnto and Torment to create a sad situation.

18. Heroic Journey: The move is combined from Misty Explosion and Charm to show how heroic the Pokemon is.

With the 18 contest moves, Pikachu is gaining the Toughness energy from the outfit and this time she jumps into the air and crashes into her twin brother.

"Is that a Body Slam?" I ask, and Mark says, "No, I think that's Flying Press. Considering that Pikachu doesn't seem to get hurt that much."

Then Lisia thanks us and gives me her third badge, which is a Sand Badge, and then she bids farewell to us as we continue to explore Verdanturf Town.

We find a girl and she says, "My Shroomish got lost, it disappeared around the sign. Where did it go?" We decide to find the Shroomish and we find it near the town sign. After getting it back, she says, "Ah! Mushew! Thank you for finding my Shroomish! I'll give you this. I just found it. It has a strange shape and it looks amazing."

We receive the Intruging Stone, which we have no idea what this is for. After we place it in the pocket, we also find Wally's cousin's house. We met his uncle and he says, "Ah, so you do come visit. If you're looking for Wally, though, I'm afraid he's gone. After he lost to you in Mauville, he said he had to train more, and we haven't seen him since. It must be his Pokemon that have lit such a fire in that boy and given him so much hope to live for..."

"I see." We then head to Rusturf Tunnel since we're done with the town, and we find Wally's Cousin Wanda, she tells us that her boyfriend is trapped by the debris. So we use Rock Smash to save her boyfriend so they can go back to Verdanturf Town safely.

"Looks like we're back at Rustboro City... what should we do there?" Max asks.

"It's obvious, we're going to find Mr. Stone." I say as we head to the Devon Corps. After giving the scientists the two fossils so they can revive them, we meet Mr. Stone.

"Hm? Ah. That Intriguing Stone you have... On second look, it seems to be Pidgeotite, doesn't it?" When Mr. Stone asks me, I realize that it looks just like a Mega Stone, and it really is a Pidgeotite.

Then we decide to try it out by heading to the battlefield, and I get Pidgeot from my Dad and try the Mega Evolution. Much to our delight, Pidgeot responds to me and now its Mega Evolution looks interesting.

"Wow... you have two Mega Pokemon now." Mark says.

"Yeah." I say, but because of the new Pokemon, I decide to bring Pidgeot back to the Flying Manor in Kalos. And after a while, the fossils are also done, and we get a Lileep and an Anorith.

Lileep: The Sea Lily Pokemon: Rock and Grass Type. Lileep became extinct approximately a hundred million years ago. This ancient Pokémon attaches itself to a rock on the seafloor and catches approaching prey using tentacles shaped like flower petals.

Anorith: The Old Shrimp Pokemon: Rock and Bug Type. Anorith is said to be a type of Pokémon predecessor, with eight wings at the sides of its body. This Pokémon swam in the primordial sea by undulating these eight wings.

Then we decided to head to Route 115 because we hadn't explored that part. While training with our Pokemon, our Shiny Kirlia has evolved into a Gardevoir.

Gardevoir: The Embrace Pokemon: Psychic and Fairy Type. Evolve from Kirlia at LV:30. Gardevoir has the psychokinetic power to distort the dimensions and create a small black hole. This Pokémon will try to protect its Trainer even at the risk of its own life.

"That sounds a little horrifying..." Minami says, also having her Kirlia evolved into a Gardevoir.

"So what about you, you want to evolve into a Gardevoir as well?" I ask the brother, who shakes his head and says, "No, I want to be a Gallade, so before you get a Dawn Stone, I'll try to remain as a Kirlia."

"I see... Gallade also seems to be a cool Pokemon." Mark says.

As we continue moving, we are now at the Meteor Falls. In the waters, we find a Barboach and both Mark and I decide to capture them. We use Corphish and eventually they both evolve into Crawdaunt to give us the capture.

Barboach: The Whiskers Pokemon: Water and Ground Type. Barboach's sensitive whiskers serve as a superb radar system. This Pokémon hides in mud, leaving only its two whiskers exposed while it waits for prey to come along.

Crawdaunt: The Rouge Pokemon: Water and Dark Type. Evolve from Corphish at LV:30. Crawdaunt has an extremely violent nature that compels it to challenge other living things to battle. Other life-forms refuse to live in ponds inhabited by this Pokémon, making them desolate places.

After we get outside, Minami captures a Spinda with a round shape, and we also stop at a river. Just then, a larger-than-normal Whiscash jumps out of the water and eats my badge case.

"Hey! Give that back!" I try to use Crawdaunt to attack the Whiscash, but it is defeated easily.

Mark says, "How about we try fishing?" Then we start to fish to see if we can fish the Whiscash, we manage to fish one, but that's not the one with my badge case because the said one appears right next to the hooked Pokémon, and taunts me by showing me the Badge case before disappearing.

"Why you..." I try to fish again and this time I get that Whiscash, but he tries to drag our small boat on a ride towards a pile of rocks. Thanks to our Barboach, who evolve into Whiscash, that saves us from crashing.

Whiscash: The Whiskers Pokemon: Water and Ground Type. Evolved from Barboach at LV:30. Whiscash is extremely territorial. Just one of these Pokémon will claim a large pond as its exclusive territory. If a foe approaches it, it thrashes about and triggers a massive earthquake.

However, just as we think we're safe, Team Rocket comes and they try to take away the Whiscash that has my badge case. However, they try to escape but they can't move fast because of Whiscash's weight. After freeing it, it uses Earthquake to send Team Rocket flying, and the smoke from the blast-off causes it to cough off the badge case and I quickly get it back.

And then we find a wild Bagon who wants to learn how to fly. We know that Bagon can fly after being a Shelgon, so we decide to help it out. But much to our annoyance, Team Rocket appears and this time they have a helicopter and they send Meowth with a jetpack to grab Bagon. I have Grovyle uses Bullet Seed to get them to drop the remote control, and Meowth is out of control.

We try to find where the Bagon is, and we find that it is safe and he enjoys flying. However, Team Rocket arrives and they start to argue about the remote, although Bagon seems to want to fly again, we still have to send Team Rocket flying as we use Pikachu's Quick Attack to send them to the helicopter. Bagon shows us the jetpack that Meowth used, and Minami says, "Maybe we can have Bagon fly with that suit and the remote control you picked up?"

"That sounds like a good idea." May says.

Then much to our horror, they manage to grab Pikachu and leave with the helicopter, so we have Bagon chase after it using the jetpack. Those stupid idiots are tying to send their Pokemon to attack, only to have them cramped the helicopter. The helicopter shakes violently as Bagon rams its head into the hull on the outside. It uses Dragon Rage to create explosions in the helicopter, and Pikachu also frees himself as he leaps on Bagon. Then with the Thunderbolt, they are sent flying once more.

Bagon continues circles in the air several times with Pikachu happily enjoying the flight. We are thrilled to see that Bagon's dreams have finally come true. By sunset, Bagon lands with Pikachu disembarking.

"So how do you like the flight?" I ask, and Bagon nods in approval before it starts to evolve into a Shelgon. Then it wants to join our team, so we welcome him.

Bagon: The Rock Head Pokemon: Dragon Type. Bagon harbors a never-ending dream of one day soaring high among the clouds. As if trying to dispel its frustration over its inability to fly, this Pokémon slams its hard head against huge rocks and shatters them into pebbles.

Shelgon: The Endurance Pokemon: Dragon Type. Evolved from Bagon at LV:30. Inside Shelgon's armor-like shell, cells are in the midst of transformation to create an entirely new body. This Pokémon's shell is extremely heavy, making its movements sluggish.
