The story is not Cannon and will have characters' names from other TV shows, cartoons, and comics, all with our hero and villain's names. I rated M for swearing, Violence, and bloodshed. Tried to mix two stories in one, decided against it.

Bounty Hunters

Chapter 1

Deep in space many years ago, an asteroid and a comet collided, splitting the comet into two pieces. The smaller piece quickly headed to Earth and crashed into a small tree house, affecting five children with rainbow powers. The large piece also headed to Earth, but now, in a darker and slower route, it will reach Earth many years after our heroes have graduated from high school. The world by then had gone crazy with all the Lorwardian technology lying around, and World War Three had begun.

When the war for the American Continent was over, Ron didn't like this new world. What was now known as the Third World War had changed everything and taken away his chance to have the life he always wished for. Leaders from every country decided to settle old scores when the United States was distracted and take as much territory from their neighbors as possible. Larger countries broke into smaller warring cities that decided to take as much land as possible from their fellow cities. The biggest European conflicts came from Russia and NATO. While in Asia, China, Japan, and Indonesia began fighting each other.

The United States was attacked from both sides when Global Justice betrayed them. Then, Canada and Mexico tried to take as much territory from America as possible. But they failed when the new United States quickly fought back. This was the key for the United States to take the whole continent and force the end of the war on the continent. Their next war would be for the rest of the world, something many were afraid of.

The only country that never saw any conflict was the small continent of Australia. Sure, there were small battles between armed criminals and the army, but Australia survived because of its remoteness from the rest of the world and its vast expanse of deserts and dangerous creatures.

After the American Continental War began, the new united continent of America began to rebuild, and some of the long-time soldiers went home as they were replaced with new and fresher soldiers. One of these was Ron Stoppable, who was now looking at his old Middleton high school. Ron had fought hard for six years while he was in the Marines, from the beginning of the war when his prospects of a life with Kim were destroyed when he discovered she was gay and had no interest in him. All he had now were memories and a few secrets none of his old friends would know about.

Kim had admitted to him that she had always preferred girls. When he asked who it was, Bonnie walked into the unit. His heart broke as their relationship ended, all because of their supposedly old high school rival that they had fought with throughout their high school years! He couldn't understand why he never noticed. Kim told him she thought she could control it and still have a life with him, but this failed.

Kim and Bonnie then moved away and joined law enforcement until the war began, then they joined the army. Ron joined the Marines when the war began. Even then, he still didn't understand how he didn't notice Kim was gay, even though all the signs were there from the beginning. He could never understand women, but not all men could.

Now that his part of the war was over, he headed home to find out what was left after he heard of a large battle between American and Global Justice forces. That was when he met an old rival, a villain turned good after the invasion. Shego had also joined the military during the war and had fought with distinction, making up for her life of crime. Then, thanks to Wade, the two became bounty hunters to search out criminals who had escaped or been released during the occupation of Global Justice.

That leaves to where he was now, at the old Middleton High School, chasing an old friend, turned criminal through the old halls of the school. He couldn't believe who he was chasing, not in a million years. Why was it her? All she did was steal a wallet to buy some food.

Tara King was running scared; she knew who was chasing her and didn't understand how it came to this. Tara had stolen a wallet with a thousand dollars from a shop counter and was quickly arrested. It was her first offense, and with the jails overflowing, Tara was bail to appear in court later! Something she refused to do. Now she was on the run after her old crush walked up to her with tears in his eyes and told her she was under arrest. One quick kick to his balls had given her time to get away from his hold, but not for long, "Tara, don't let it end like this! You are in enough trouble already," yelled Ron.

"Sorry, Ronnie, but you're not taking me in for that dumb mistake," yelled Tara as she ran around a corner to ambush Ron again. Of all the dumb luck, thought Ron. Just as he reached the corner, Tara had pushed him into the same storage room that Kim had locked him in all those years ago.

Ron can't believe that it happened again. He was locked in the same storage room for the second time in his life. Using his Ninja skills, Ron picked the lock and quickly opened the storage room door to run after Tara. Ron knew which door she was heading to, and It was the only door in the school that wasn't monitored by a camera and was always unlocked. The jocks from his day had broken it so they could return to school after dark with their girlfriends and have sex in the teacher's lounge. As he stepped out of the door, he heard the tornado warning sirens blasting across Middleton, and he wondered what was happening.

As he stepped into the car park following Tara, he saw her frozen on the spot and pointing behind him. As he turned, he saw a giant yellowy-red fireball coming towards them. Grabbing Tara and throwing her over his shoulder just as he turned a light shade of blue and ran as hard as he could until everything around them was encased in fire.

Ron and Tara woke up in a strange place with mountains and islands floating around them. There were also planets of all shapes and sizes floating around and passed them. The two were standing on one of those Japanese floating gardens that were also floating around with the mountains. "Are we dead?" asked Tara

"I don't feel dead, and that comet did hit us," said Ron.

"LOOK!" said Tara, pointing to a long, colorful dragon approaching them. "What is that?"

"It looks like the mystical Rainbow dragon," said Ron. As the Dragon approached, they saw a monkey riding on his back. "With a monkey!" The Dragon stopped on the large floating garden that the two were standing on, and the Monkey jumped off the Dragon and stood in front of them. The Dragon turned into a large Panda and stood next to the Monkey.

"Well, hello, you two. You certainly made a mess of your life, and you, Tara! How could you turn to crime? But none of us were perfect!" said the Monkey.

"I am so Sorry! I was broke, and I need some food," said Tara as she started to cry and fell to the ground. The panda then started to cry and came to her and hugged her.

"Do not worry, little one; the elders understand. That is why we are here. I am not known in this world of humans as I am from another realm. My name is Po, and I am known as the Dragon Warrior, and we are here by the will of the elders,"

"And I think you may know who I am, Ronald. My name is Sun Wukong, the monkey king. I am known by many names all over your world?" said Sun Wukong

"Better known as trickster god?" said Tara.

"Only by a few, Tara?" said Wukong.

"What do you want of us?" said Tara as she pulled away from Po.

"You ended up on the wrong side of the law, Tara, and the elders are very sad with the two of you," said Wukong as Tara hung her head. "Now, before you ask, you are not dead, just in the spirit world so we could talk," said Po

"We have been ordered to come to you and tell you about my past. Many thousands of years ago, the old Elders removed all of my powers and placed them in the idols you destroyed, Ronald. Then, I was imprisoned in that comet after I broke out of my prison mountain. These elders, who were the gods of this world 10 thousand years ago, had selected you, Ronald, to be their chosen ones. Then your life went downhill, and you failed them," said Wukong

"Failed them! But I stopped the invasion?" said Ron.

"Yes, you did, and Tara also became a criminal. You two were meant to prevent the invasion from ever happening, not try and stop it," said Po

"Prevent it? How could I have done that?" said Ron

"By stopping those who brought them to earth in the first place," said Po

"Stopping? How do you mean?" asked Ron

"I see what you mean, Wukong! The full powers of the Monkey King would have helped you remove the rainbow dragon's powers from those who have it. Then he who had brought the aliens to this world would have been imprisoned permanently," said Po. As Ron was thinking this through, Tara asked.

"Why am I here?"

"Simple, your mother and you were selected to be the chosen one's instructors. You were innocent and had the right spirit, but then this Kim Possible and Bonnie Rockwaller became involved, and you became a criminal," said Po

"I said I was sorry!" said Tara as she hung her head, "But how could mum and I become his instructors?" said Tara.

"You both were selected to teach Ron how to execute the proper punishment on those who did evil. Your mother was once a hero herself, but you both were distracted by Kim Possible and Bonnie Rockwaller," said the Po.

"And when those two came together and abandoned you, you became angry with the world," said Wukong.

"Just wait a minute! You wanted us together so we could execute villains? But we're just kids! and killing was still very wrong?" said Ron

"Who said anything about killing? Let me make this clear to you! It was not meant for you and Kim to come together! The elders didn't expect Kim Possible to come to that pre-k. It was the reason she came late to that school, then you became distracted by her," said Po

"Then you became the sidekick instead of the hero. My powers should have been what you needed to remove Shego's powers, but because you were alone and not with Tara, you ended up destroying them. Without the idols to give you what you needed over the years, you couldn't remove Shego's powers to stop her from helping Drakken escape from prison all those times," said Wukong more clearly this time, and Ron understood.

"I could have done that?" said Ron

"Oh yes! You both could have. But you broke them and only received a small amount of my powers because you were alone. That is why we are here now," said Wukong

"The elders wanted to give you a second chance at life! We are here to return you to the past and to repair your timeline, then your world will be ready for what is coming in the future," said Po

"What about Kim and Bonnie? Can they still be with us, or do we have to forget them?" asked Tara.

"That will depend on the two of you. But you can't have them involved in your missions or they would stop you," said Wukong.

"They could be a distraction this time? but then again, they also could be an asset," said Po.

"Will I still have my MMP if we start over again?" asked Ron

"Not until you are zapped by the idols again, but this time! Tara must be there to stop you from destroying them. Then I could give both your rewards now that I am free from that rock," said Wukong

"The elders have agreed that you will keep your old memories and skills from this timeline, but please use them carefully. Everything in the past will stay the same until you return. I will also guide you until you both are given the Monkey's powers?" said Po, and Tara hung her head as the panda just answered the question she wanted to know. Her father had died before she was born, so it didn't matter how far she returned; he would still be dead.

"Do you want to start over with me at pre-k?" asked Ron to Tara

"Yes, please," asked Tara

"Then so be it," said Po, and he slapped his hands together, and everything turned into all the colors of the rainbow, and the two disappeared from the spirit world.
