A/N: Deko and Todoroki were at least 18 in this fic.

"Good morning, Todoroki!"

Shoto Todoroki groaned as he opened his eyes and struggled to focus enough so that the world looked like more than a random blob of colors to him. As he did, he saw his darling girlfriend Izuko "Deko" Midoriya standing next to the bed. All he could think about was last night, when the two of them made sweet love with each other for the first time. It had overloaded his senses like nothing ever could before, yet it not only left him feeling much better about himself, but also helped him to grow closer to her. He smiled as he thought about this.

"Good morning, Midoriya, although I must say, I'm confused as to why you didn't allow me to sleep in."

Deko giggled. "Well, I didn't want the nice breakfast I made for you to go to waste!"

"Well, if you must insist…"

Todoroki got up from the bed and put his Judas Priest pajama pants on before heading to the kitchen/dining room, an unfamiliar smell caressing his nostrils as he headed there. He couldn't help but wonder exactly what Deko had made for him, but at the same time, he was looking forward to it, whatever it was. As soon as he came to the kitchen/dining room, he saw a large plate with an unfamiliar foodstuff stacked on it.

"What are those?" Todoroki pointed to the plate.

"Those are American-style pancakes! I made those because it's National Pancake Day!"

Todoroki tilted his head slightly. "I've never heard of that holiday."

Deko smiled. "Neither did I…at least until two months ago. Now, let's sit down and eat!"

Deko and Todoroki sat down and each served themselves a pancake. Todoroki was about to dig into his when…

"Hey Todoroki, don't you wanna put some maple syrup on yours first?"

"I've never heard of this 'maple syrup' that you speak of. Is it good?"

"Very!" Deko handed a bottle of maple syrup and a plate of butter to Todoroki. "They're also good with butter."

"Very well, I'll try it…"

Todoroki poured some maple syrup on his pancake and put a slice of butter on top before digging in. He nodded, finding the fluffiness of the pancake, the sweetness of the syrup and the savory saltiness of the butter to be a most agreeable combination.

"These are very good, Midoriya. How did you learn how to make these?"

Deko swallowed. "I got the recipe online!"

Todoroki smiled. "It's a very good recipe. I also have to admit: I think it's sexy when a woman knows how to cook."

Deko burst out laughing, causing Todoroki to frown:

"What?"

"I'm sorry, I just…I think it's so nice that you appreciate my cooking like that!" Deko took a bite.

Todoroki's smile returned. "I do. I also appreciate everything else about you. In fact, you're my favorite person in the world."

Deko nearly choked on the piece of pancake she was eating, causing Todoroki to gasp.

"Midoriya, are you OK!?"

Deko managed to get her breathing under control and swallow her pancake without choking.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine, Todoroki! I just never expected you to think THAT highly of me!"

"Oh I…that's not a problem for you, is it?"

Deko smiled. "Why would it be a problem? It makes me feel happy!"

Todoroki smiled. "Then I'm happy, too."

After finishing their pancakes, Deko and Todoroki freshened up and got dressed for today.

"So, got any plans for today?" asked Deko.

"Other than hanging out with you? Not really."

"Oh? Was there anything in particular you wanted to do with me?"

"Well, I was looking forward to getting a massage from you, and I also wanna watch the sunset with you."

Deko smiled. "Awww, you're so romantic!"

Deko wrapped her arms around Todoroki and kissed him, and he happily returned the gesture. It was looking to be a good week for both of them.
