A short while after separating from Nemona, Jaune began looking for the source of the noise that interrupted their awkward moment. The young man kept looking around, trying to find the source of the noise as according to Nemona, the sound the creature was making wasn't anything she recognized.
This was unusual as she was familiar with Pokemon, so it was easy to guess that this was a Pokemon she had never met before. Jaune decided that in there to find the source of the noise, as his curiosity was peaked and he wanted to see what was making all that noise.
That is when he went to a nearby Cliff but the fence around Poco Path hadn't covered, and there he spotted the creature he didn't recognize from any of the Pokemon books he'd been reading. It sort of look like a Cyclizar, but it was red with what appeared to be white feathers.
The creature in question was currently being harassed by what appeared to be two houndour. Before said creature let out a mighty roar, causing the ground beneath Jaune to shake, causing him to lose his footing and head down the cliff!
Jaune would have certainly had a really bad fall if it wasn't for his Rotom phone comes out of his pocket at the last second, and placing itself between his hands, causing the young man to gently descent to the ground below...
"Phew...That was a close one."said Jaune, as even with Aura, a nasty fall like that would have left him with a very bad injury or something way worse...
That is when he turned his attention to the creature, noticing that the two Houndour have been chased off. This allowed the young Arc to go towards the creature to see if it was okay as it did not look like it was okay. He casino obvious sign of injury as the creature look like it was just exhausted, then he heard the familiar sound of a stomach rumbling...
"You must be hungry."said Jaune, who quickly reached into his backpack and pulled out the sandwich Mrs Lopez had prepared for him.
He was really looking forward to the sandwich as Mrs Lopez was a good cook, but it was clear to him that this creature needed it more so he handed it the sandwich without any hesitation. The creature sniffed the sandwich was suspicion for a few seconds before it took it out of Jaune's hand and began eating it.
"There you go."said Jaune, watching the creature enjoy the sandwich before it stood up.
"Looks like you're feeling all better."said Jaune, before the creature passed him and began making its way to a nearby cave.
That is when Jaune saw something unbelievable as the creature began to be surrounded by some kind of energy, before it jumps into the air and transformed to a creature that looks similar but different.
Most of its body is scarlet in color, with white accents on its cheeks, abdomen, legs, and tail. Its head features a large plume and a pair of long, thin, twisted antennae; its rear has a similar, much larger plume. These plumes and antennae are white in color and blue-purple at the base. It has yellow eyes with brown pupils, webbed feet, and blue features on its elbows and shoulders, as well as blue frills running down its neck. On its chest is a large circular protrusion which resembles a rubber tire. Its texture and black coloration are similar to the base of its tail, and it can inflate or deflate as needed.
"Woah!"sad Jaune, before he noticed that the strange Pokemon seem to be waiting for him.
'Does it want me to follow him?' wondered Jaune, who was sure that was the case, so he began walking towards the pokémon and sure enough it began to move as soon has he got close enough.
Jaune follow the strange winged reptilian pokémon through the cave, and was surprised by how amazing everything looked as there was some kind of green glowing substance around the cave. Jaune was concerned about this at first, but he figured that there was no real harm so he continued walking through the cave until they reached the dead end.
That is when the strange Pokemon used it's mighty claws to break through the boulder blocking their way like it was nothing. Jaune was impressed by this, but he decided to continue following the creature as it continued moving forward.
"Jaune, there you are! Are you okay?!"said Nemona's voice, causing Jaune to look up to see the girl in question standing next to what it looked like a way out of the cave.
"I'm managing."said Jaune, who knew that he could have been a lot worse if he had fell without his Rotom phone.
"That's good... I don't know if I would have been able to forgive myself for you getting hurt by my suggestion. Anyway, who's that Pokemon with you? I've never seen a Pokemon like that before."said Nemona, noticing the pokémon that Jaune was currently following.
"I don't know as we just met."said Jaune, before he pulled out his pokedex app to try to identify the Pokemon in front of him.
Only to see that the Pokedex said no data..
"Huh?"said Jaune, confused that first before remembering that some Pokemon haven't been discovered yet, and this red pokémon in front of him must be one of them.
"Woah, the Pokedex doesn't know what Pokemon that is. Man, I would love to get a better look at it. But first, we need to get you out of that cave! Follow it through the cave and try to find a way out, or at least close enough to where I am where I can use one of my Pokemon to get you out."said Nemona, causing Jaune to give her a thumbs up, before he continued following the mysterious Pokemon.
That is when Jaune felt an angry pair of eyes looking down on him. He looked around but didn't see what Pokemon was looking at him. He only saw an assortment of Pokemon throughout the cave. Now, normally he would try to add to his team. But considering he was in a dire situation, he decided to hold back on that for now while he figured out a way to get out of the cave.
The mysterious Pokemon meanwhile continued to wait for Jaune, looking over its shoulder every couple of seconds to see if he was still being followed. Jaune was confused by this as he couldn't believe one sandwich would make a mysterious Pokemon trust him this much, but he wasn't going to argue with it so he decided to continue following it until they got to a place near the cave where Nemona can help both of them get out.
"Jaune, behind you!"shouted Nemona, causing the young man to turn around to see that some kind of strong looking Pokemon was approaching him.
It was a quadrupedal, canine Pokemon with black fur, a long orange snout, and an orange underbelly. It has small red eyes and a black nose. Around its neck is a white band with a small skull-shaped pendant on its throat. There are two white bands on each of its ankles, as well as three rib-like ridges on its back. Houndoom has a long, skinny tail with a triangular tip and three clawed toes on each paw. Atop its head is a pair of long, curved gray horns.
"That's a Houndoom!"said Jaune, who quickly pulled out his Pokedex to identify the Pokemon in front of him just to be sure.
Pokedex: Houndoom, the dark Pokemon, and the evolved form of houndour. If you are burned by the flames it shoots from its mouth, the pain will never go away.
"I think that's a bit of an overreaction but facing the way this guy is glaring at me, it is not happy with me being in its territory"said Jaune, who thought about calling out Fuecoco, but decided not to as it was clear to him that this hound you in front of him was a lot stronger than his starter Pokemon.
And he didn't want to put the little guy in any unnecessary danger.
The mysterious Pokemon on the other hand noticed this, and then after a moment of hesitation, it jumped in and stood between Jaune and the Houndoom, knocking the dark Pokemon back. Houndoom was clearly agitated by this, so it let out a mighty roar, causing dozens of houndour to begin making their way towards Jaune and the mysterious Pokemon.
"That's not good!"said Jaune, knowing that the situation has gone from bad to worse.
The mysterious pokémon was about to fight back, before it noticed that more and more houndour just kept coming. So the mysterious pokémon decided to do a tactical retreat, but it first jumped over to pick up Jaune!
"Woah!"said Jaune as he was picked up.
"Hey!"shouted Nemona, getting the attention of the mysterious Pokemon.
"Up here, quick!"shouted the student council president, causing the mysterious Pokemon to begin jumping up the various rocks that led to where she was before it finally reached the safety of what she stood.
Nemona clap your hands with excitement, as her new friend and the mysterious Pokemon he found had just escaped the Houndoom and his pack.
"Phew.. that was another close one."said Jaune as the mysterious Pokemon let him down.
"Are you okay?"inquired Nemona, before she ran over to Jaune to see if he was okay.
"I'm fine... not even a scratch."said Jaune, as he wondered why girls always worried over him.
"Good."said Nemona, before both Pokemon trainers noticed that the mysterious pokémon began to get slumpy as it made its way out of the cave.
That is when made its way on to the grass, before I light enveloped it and it took on the form Jaune first met it as.
"Are you okay?"asked Jaune, before he and Nemona run over to see if the mysterious Pokemon was okay.
"It kind of looks like a Cyclizar, but it's kind of different. Jaune, do you have any idea why?"inquired Nemona, wondering if her new friend had any idea why the mysterious Pokemon had changed forms.
"I have no idea."replied Jaune, as he has no idea why this Pokemon suddenly change form so soon.
"Well, you two look really in synced with one another. Like you had a bond that most people can never understand. Which is weird considering the fact you two just met."said Nemona with a chuckle.
"Yeah, I know I would have been in a big pickle if this Pokemon didn't save me."saud Jaune, as he knew that that Houndoom and his pack of Houndour were not messing around.
"Yeah!"said Nemona, before she noticed the mysterious Pokemon heading towards the nearby lighthouse.
"Hey, where are you going?"asked Jaune, before he end Nemona right after it.
That is when Jaune saw that someone was standing next to the lighthouse. It was a male based on his shoulders, who had long light brown hair. He was wearing a huge yellow backpack, blue vest, white dress shirt, orange tie, orange striped pants, and what appeared to be dark brown hiking boots.
"He must be a student at the Academy."said Jaune, before he noticed that the young man turn around and noticed the mysterious Pokemon.
"Oh, you have got to be kidding me."said the young man, before he began approaching the mysterious Pokemon."What are you doing out here, Koraidon!"
"Wait! I think that is Arven of the culinary track. If I remember correctly he's the son of that famous Pokemon professor, Professor Sada."said Nemona, getting the young man's attention as Jaune and Nemona approached him.
"It does it matter who my mom is!"said Arven with a scowl.
"Hey, how do you know that Pokemon?"asked Jaune, who overheard Arven call it Koraidon.
Arven didn't respond as he looked at Jaune.
"How did you get in contact with this Pokemon?"asked Arven with a mean look.
"I found it at the bottom of a cliff. It just save me from a group of Houndour led by a Houndoom."said Jaune, summarizing what just happened to him.
"Yeah! Wait? How do you know what that Pokemon is called?"asked Nemona, to which Arven did not respond.
"Well if you want this Pokemon to accompany you, you'll have to battle me first!"said Arven, before he pulled out a pokeball.
Jaune was caught off guard by this before he noticed the look Koraidon's eyes. It was clear that Arven was not fond of the mysterious Pokemon, for whatever reason. Jaune didn't know what grudge the young man had against it, and he didn't care. It was clear to him that the grudge was not mutual, so he decided to teach Arven some manners.
"Fine by me!"said Jaune, as Koraidon didn't deserve this unnecessary hatred after he had just saved him from a dire situation.
So he decided then and there to protect Koraidon's honor!
[After fighting the mysterious Pokemon that was making the strange noise, Jaune managed to escape two dangerous situations by pure dumb luck. Now Jaune faces the son of Professor Sada, Arven. Will Jaune be able to beat the son of a professor, protecting Koraidon's honor? Only time will tell us the journey continues]
