Chapter 173: Reconciliation

"Hyah!" said Storm with a blindfold over his eyes, swinging his lightsaber to block a shot from several droid shots.

The boy was doing another hard training session as Luna walked about and circled her student. The Jedi Master was seeing vast improvement with her apprentice as, in the past five hours, he was exceeding her expectations. The Jedi Knight predicted well in advance the movements of the droids as he was already moving faster than the machine could keep up as he sliced it in half in the blink of an eye.

"Very good," said Luna as Storm turned to face his teacher while having the blindfold on.

"Thank you, Master," said the boy as he bowed.

"Now... Ready position!" said Luna.

Storm sighed as he turned on his lightsaber and held it with the tip of his blade pointed outward. Luna then began to walk as she circled her student with her arms behind her back.

"Feel my presence. Take in all that is around you. Follow my voice." stated Luna as Storm kept track of where his Master was despite not seeing. "Sense my intention."

Storm did as Luna asked as he concentrated. The Jedi Master turned on her lightsaber as she was positioned southeast of Storm; she lowered her lightsaber to be near his face as Storm countered to swat it away before turning to face northeast as he predicted Luna's attack. The clash of their blades hummed as Luna pulled back and walked around again. The Jedi Knight centered himself as he tried to sense his teacher.

Storm then bent down and angled his lightsaber to block Luna's attack; the pair exchanged attacks while standing before Luna spun downward to a knee as Storm cartwheeled over her swing. The Jedi Knight landed and did a quick backflip to gain some distance as Luna turned to face her student while twirling her lightsaber. The teen then ran toward the woman, and they began to trade high attacks as he pushed Luna back. Luna could divert Storm's latest downward swing as she sidestepped her student to make him fall forward as he recovered onto a knee.

Luna then began to attack as she transitioned from left to right. She quickly spun her lightsaber around her body before swinging as Storm leaped over her swing to gain some distance. The boy quickly engaged Luna as they did some high and low attacks; Luna jumped to avoid Storm's blade as she swung it down, to which he angled it just right to have a grip and block. The boy quickly spun around as Luna did the same thing; they faced forward to have their blades clash once more. Luna guided their blades as she overpowered her student to extend her leg and kick him in the face. Storm used the momentum of being kicked to flip himself back and land on his feet as he swung down before lifting it back up and behind him to block Luna's strike before spinning and ducking her next attack.

He extended a leg to kick her midsection; Luna barely stumbled before he quickly kipped up and ran at her. The Jedi Master avoided her student by spinning out of the way before she turned to block his attack and angled it down to launch a roundhouse as Storm leaned his head back before pushing her lightsaber off his. He did several butterfly kicks while attacking as Luna blocked each one using only one hand. Eventually, the pair found themselves back to back as they anticipated the other. Storm came in for a swing as Luna kept low and ducked her student's attack. She got up and aimed her lightsaber diagonally to block his next strike; their blades held in place as the hum of them clashing was heard. Luna felt herself getting pushed back as Storm tried to overtake her.

Luna quickly cartwheeled away as she put her hand out; it caught Storm off guard as he fell and tumbled before quickly getting to a knee. The Jedi Master then upped the ante. She used the Force to make Storm drop to the floor as the Jedi Knight tried to move but couldn't escape Luna's more powerful grip. She dragged the boy toward her, flung her hand up, and made Storm fly. He made contact with the ceiling as he lay there; Luna looked at her student before she began to fly upward as she shifted her position and was now walking on the ceiling.

Storm lifted his head to see Luna upside down; the boy began getting up to his feet as everything seemed normal, but in reality, he was upside down and standing on the ceiling. The Jedi Knight, while still blindfolded, held his lightsaber close to him as Luna took a stance. The boy looked to attack as the Jedi Master made Force orbs appear in an arch above her; Luna shot them toward Storm as the boy initially avoided the first few before the others pelted him. The Jedi Knight soon ducked one as he sliced the rest of the orbs in half and disposed of them. Storm quickly rushed toward Luna, but she blocked his attack before he reeled back and struck her.

However, when Storm landed a strike, Luna disappeared. Even blindfolded, the boy gasped upon seeing that as he then sensed something and quickly rolled back as two Lunas tried to attack him from behind. The teen looked as the two copies of his Master approached him. He stuck his hand out to push one back a few meters as he blocked the attack of one and could land a swing as that Luna fizzed and faded. He then quickly spun around to block Luna's sneak attack.

The boy quickly rotated through as he used their lightsabers to be able to reverse their standing as he had the upper grip over Luna. Luna deflected Storm's attempt when he pulled back to strike as she quickly went down low to sweep her student. Storm landed but quickly spun around on his hand as he twisted and popped to his feet. He looked about, but Luna was gone until he quickly backflipped and rotated into the air. Luna came down and created a shockwave of power when she landed as Storm was just outside its massive radius.

Storm landed and threw his lightsaber as Luna deflected it, which Storm called back using the Force. Luna tapped into her powers as she superspeed herself toward her student; Storm leaned back at the last second as the tip of her lightsaber cut off his blindfold. He turned to face his teacher as Luna formed a fist and punched the area below her. It began to shake as Storm jumped and landed as he was now on the sidewalls. Luna noticed this as she jumped and was also standing on the walls.

The boy then began to charge as he literally walled run toward his teacher. He jumped and clashed his blade with Luna as he held in the air for a few seconds before jumping back. Storm eyed Luna as he held his lightsaber above his head; Luna did the same as she eyed her student. The two Jedi remained like that momentarily as they used the Force to sense their next movement. Soon, they moved as, in the blink of an eye, they ran and slashed each other by as they had their backs turned. They turned to face each other as they clashed blades once more; Luna looked at her student as she quickly reversed herself to be positioned behind Storm.

Storm was shocked to see that as Luna now had him in a sleeper hold as he struggled to escape. His lightsaber dropped from his grip as he concentrated on breaking Luna's grip. He reached an arm up to grab the back of Luna's head as Storm attempted to do a snapmare to roll Luna forward and off of him; however, she countered by rolling with his momentum as they rolled to where Luna was bent on a knee with Storm sitting on his behind as Luna still had her sleeperhold on her student. The Jedi Knight could feel himself fading as he tried not to submit.

"Pass out or tap out!" shouted Luna to Storm as she wrenched her hold even tighter.

Storm knew he would never submit as he started to lose oxygen. His hand managed to get under one of Luna's; he lifted it as Luna noticed it. Just as he was about to unhook himself from her grip, she quickly grabbed his fingers as Luna began to use her specialty of fighting: joint manipulation. Storm let out cries of pain as he could feel Luna's grip on his digits as she bent his hand and attacked the pressure points. Luna was able to bend Storm's hand to where he lay on his stomach; she had a knee over his neck as she continued to stretch his hand. The knee on his neck also inflicted pain as Luna attacked several pressure points along his body.

The Jedi Master soon transitioned to where she applied an armbar and extended Storm's arm as she applied more pain to his pressure points as the boy yelped. Storm managed to stand up as Luna kept her grip on his hand; the boy then rolled to the wall floor as he laid on his back. Storm kipped up and twisted about Luna's arm as he reversed the grip; Luna countered and delivered a jumping split leg kick to knock her student to the actual floor. Storm tumbled and rolled as Luna descended like a superhero with her arms behind her back. The Jedi Master walked toward her student as Storm got to a knee and looked at Luna with a raised fist.

The teen looked at his teacher as Luna extended an arm from behind to reach out toward her student. Storm looked at Luna's hand before he released his fist and put it in hers. The Jedi Master pulled her student up as she looked at her apprentice. The woman then hugged Storm as she rubbed his head; the boy felt Luna's touch as it reminded him of when he was younger, as the Jedi Master allowed her motherly side to show. Storm soon closed his eyes and relished being in his mother's arms as Luna hummed the lullaby she sang to her son when he was a baby.

And so another tedious training session has come and gone. Well, at least you'll be a capable fighter when being my vessel.

"Yeah, thanks for the nice words," stated Storm to the girl voice he was constantly talking to.

The Jedi Knight was lying on his bed with his arms behind his head as he began to think about something. The teen recalled a recent memory involving a mission with Anakin and Obi-wan. The trio were by a small campfire as the sun was setting behind them. Safe to say that Anakin was still letting Ahsoka's decision to leave affect his state of mind. Even Obi-wan tried to get his student to realize that not letting her go was holding him back. The talk the three had reminded Storm of his falling out with Twilight and how he had his fight with the princess.

Are you dwelling on the girl again? Ugg, it's so exhausting. You made your point, and you're in the right. She's clearly too busy trying to find someone to marry. You have more pressing matters, like fighting this war. You're on the front lines; all she's doing is standing on the sidelines and trying to find someone to knock her up. So move on!

"I can't just outright forget her. We've been close to each other these past few years," said Storm.

Whatever. In any case, let's discuss the next thing you should do as my vessel.

Storm exited his bed and went to his nearby desk; the Jedi Knight picked up the necklace. At that moment, a sizzling sound was heard. In the background, a small line began to move as it formed a circle.

"What the?" said Storm as he turned to see the shape.

The circle outline began to sizzle as energy sparks fell off, and the area inside the circle began to glow. Storm looked away as the light soon died down a bit as the area inside the shape was white. The Jedi Knight approached the circle as he lifted a hand when it began to speak.

"Storm? Storm."

"Twilight."

Soon, the girl's image appeared as the girl was now looking at the boy. The Jedi Knight was stunned to see the image of the princess inside the portal but then remembered their brawl.

"We need to talk," said both in unison until they realized they were thinking the same thing.

"What is this?" asked Storm as he looked at the portal.

"It's a Rune Gate. In ancient times, this was used to communicate and transport from place to place. Look... I have something to discuss with you." stated the princess.

The portal then began to expand a bit as it showed Twilight as she was seated in a room at a table. The princess gestured for the Jedi Knight to enter the magical gate; Storm was hesitant as he slowly approached the portal. He stuck a hand out as he expected something to happen but was amazed to see his hand going through the portal as it appeared on the other side. The Jedi Knight took one last look at his room as he hoped Luna wouldn't be upset as he took a step through the gate, as it closed behind him.

When Storm stepped through, he was immediately in the room with Twilight. The boy looked about as it amazed him that he was able to get all the way from Courscant to Equis all within a few seconds. His attention was then turned to Twilight as the girl sat at a table, dressed regally as she eyed her "partner." In front of her was food and a chair facing her; Storm approached the table.

A servant entered the room through a door as they placed a second plate in front of the boy. The princess called over the servant as she whispered into their ear and nodded as they left the room and closed the door. Soon, Twilight turned her attention back to Storm; the pair sat in silence as they recalled their brawl. That memory was at the forefront of their mind as it was soon replaced with something else; for Twilight, she recalled what Zecora said about her and Storm having to talk it out, and for the boy, it had to do with discussing with the princess about Sunset.

The two remained silent for what seemed like forever, as that was how awkward the situation was. After a brawl like what transpired between the two and how they went days on end without ever so much as talking or seeing each other added more fuel to the fire.

"Hey," said Storm.

"Hey," responded Twilight.

The two went back to being silent as they didn't know what to say or how to start after their brawl. The food in front of them was supposed to help, at least that's what Twilight thought, but even that was not working. The pair could only look each other in the eye and wondered what to do. Storm soon reached out to grab a pear as he looked at it and then at the princess as if to ask for her approval to eat, but she remained silent. The boy took a bite of the fruit as it sent his taste buds on a tasty journey. Twilight was also trying to start eating as she picked up a fork and knife and cut a piece of her dish. For a while, the Jedi sat in silence as they ate. The only sound was them eating.

"How is it?" asked Twilight.

"It's delicious," responded Storm softly.

"That's nice," replied the girl in the same tone.

The princess put her utensils down and sighed. She looked at her friend as Storm also looked at her.

"Listen, Storm... I... I... I..." said Twilight as she tried to find the words to say what she wanted. "I... I want to apologize for what transpired between us."

"Oh," said Storm as he put his head down.

"I'm sorry for my actions."

"I see. I... I... Me too," stated Storm as Twilight looked at him with a hopeful smile. "We acted on our feelings and kinda lashed out at each other."

"I'm sorry," said Twilight.

"Yeah," responded Storm.

The princess pushed her chair back and stood up. She began to approach her partner as she stood to the side and placed her hand on top of Storm's. The boy looked at the girl as she undid her hairstyle, allowing it to drop past her shoulders and take its original form.

"Partners?" asked Twilight as she sat on Storm's lap and looked at her friend.

"Partners," responded Storm.

The girl smiled before she tightly embraced the boy; Storm wrapped his arms around Twilight as he had forgotten her lavender scent and sniffed her hair to be reminded of that sweet smell. The pair closed their eyes and relished being in each other's arms, giving them a warmth they had long missed.

"I've missed how good this felt," said Twilight as she pulled back to look at her partner and grazed his cheek as Storm lifted a hand to do the same. "And this." The princess leaned in and kissed the cheek of her personal knight as she smiled.

"Yeah," responded Storm, offering a smile of his own.

Following their reconciliation, Twilight began to inform Storm about what Zecora said about an incoming danger. The boy was concerned about this as he knew how Twilight's planet was kept secret and wondered what this threat could be.

"By the way, Sparky? I encountered Sunset. She tried to probe my mind and learn the location of your world." stated Storm as that got Twilight to gasp. "How did she know about your home?"

"I don't know," confessed Twilight, as she was unaware of that small touch Sunset made on Onderon during their skirmish. "You didn't..."

"Don't worry. I resisted," said Storm as that got Twilight to relax a bit.

"Well, let's hope we won't have to deal with her. With whatever this threat is that Zecora mentioned, it'd be a lot easier if we didn't have to worry about her and the Separatists," said Twilight.

"Twilight!"

Night Light's voice was heard as the girl realized the situation. Before anything could happen, the King was shown approaching the teens in one of the hallways as he wanted to speak with his daughter. However, seeing Storm, he halted and glared at the Jedi Knight.

"Dad!" said Twilight to her father.

"What is he doing here?!" demanded Night Light, as he didn't like Storm showing up unannounced.

"I... contacted him using a Rune Gate," confessed the girl.

Night Light looked at Storm as the King glared at the boy. He then turned to grab Twilight's shoulder and lead her away from the troublesome Jedi.

"We're going to have a long talk about you using a Rune Gate without my permission," muttered Night Light to his daughter as she put her head down in shame as the pair walked away to handle royal business.

Storm was left alone as he could see that his presence had made the King angry. And seeing as how Twilight was occupied with stuff, he knew that he wouldn't get any time with the girl until later, if possible. So, he decided to head out as he turned in the opposite direction. As the Jedi Knight was leaving the castle, he was being followed and watched by many guards as they kept a close eye on the boy in case he tried something. Storm felt like he was being treated as some major criminal as each guard of the royal army didn't blink while staring at him. Once he walked past the castle gates, the doors closed behind him as one of the guard keepers spitted away to signal how he felt about the teen.

The boy was walking into town as he passed by many wagons and people moving about on this fine day. A nearby merchant passed out some free samples; Storm used his Force powers to lift one into his hand as he continued. He soon arrived at his destination, as the scent of bread was a key indicator of the place's popularity. The Jedi Knight pushed through the doors as the bell above the door rang; it was rather quiet as only a few customers were inside as they sat at some tables. When the doorbell was heard, the boy looked at the counter as a chubby, short woman bent over, looking into some boxes.

"Welcome to Sugarcube Corner! How can we..."

"Hey, Mrs. Cake."

"Storm!" said the married woman as she was surprised to see the boy and her best employee. "Honey, guess who's here!" stated the baker as she shouted through the small window into the kitchen.

Mrs. Cake walked from behind the counter to the boy as her husband peeked out from the door; he saw Storm and was surprised before stepping out with their two kids in his arms. The Jedi smiled before he was pulled into a tight hug from the woman as she hugged the teen like he was one of her own children.

"Mine. It's been a while. You've grown quite a bit, " said Mrs. Cake as she pulled back and noticed the boy was taller than his last visit.

"I appreciate the compliment, Mrs. Cake," said Storm as the woman finally released him.

"Glad to see you again, Storm. I know the little ones miss their favorite babysitter," stated Mr. Cake as the twins made sounds and stretched their arms toward the teen.

"Hey, you two," said Storm as he got both twins in his arms as the babies expressed how happy they were to see their guardian in their own way.

The Jedi smiled at seeing the toddlers as he used his Force powers to lift the kids into the air. Pumpkin and Pound Cake made happy noises as the teen used his powers to make it as if they were flying. The two adults smiled at seeing their kids having fun with the Jedi as they knew they made the right choice in picking Storm as their kids' guardian.

It was a little while later as Storm had decided to stay and help the Cakes with their business. The boy was seated at a table with a bottle of cider in front of him as he looked at the necklace Twilight had given him. After hearing from Twilight how Equis might face a dangerous threat, it got the boy to wonder if it had anything to do with Sunset.

You continue to lull over the fact of this impending doom? Why? As far as I know, this isn't your home. So what if some danger happens to the princess' home? It's not your business. We only need to focus on how you will continue as my vessel. And how you will help me get back.

"Get back?" said Storm.

My return!

"Everything okay?" said Mrs. Cake.

Storm was snapped out of his thoughts as he saw the married woman approach him and sit in the chair opposite him as she had Pumpkin in her lap.

"Y-Yeah," said the boy as he didn't fully look at her.

"Are you sure?" asked Mrs. Cake, seeing that something was happening with the boy's mind. And she didn't need to be a Jedi to see that.

"Yeah. It's just... I made up with Twilight recently after we had a... little brawl."

"Ah. And what was this argument about?" asked the baker as Pumpkin was playing with a small cube in her hand.

"It's uh, well, about Jedi stuff."

"I see."

"That's not me saying I don't want to discuss it. It's just... it really is Jedi stuff," clarified Storm, as he didn't want the woman to think it didn't need to concern her.

"I get it, Storm. You Jedi are... something," said Mrs. Cake as she rubbed her daughter's hair. "To be honest, when you first came here, I'll admit, me and my husband were afraid. But... the fact that you were a kid, well... it got us to give you a chance. And when you decided to help us here, I could see that you had good intentions. But there is something that does make my mind wander. How does a kid like you become someone with so many responsibilities before he's hit puberty?"

"I don't know... I guess... I never questioned it. The way my Master always told me is just to accept whatever life throws at you and move on. Learn to adjust."

"I mean, look at you; you're 18 years old. And soon you'll be a young adult. Can you think of a time in your life when you were a kid?" asked Mrs. Cake.

"Plenty," said Storm. "One time, after I was done with training, I scrapped my knee. It hurt, and I started to cry. But my Master told me not to cry or let the pain affect me. She patched my wound and took me out for some ice cream."

"Okay. Well, what about another time?" asked Mrs. Cake.

"Hmm. Well, there was the flight simulator that I had, and when I accidentally crashed the system, my Master came and made sure I was okay before she told me how to fly it properly."

Mrs. Cake sighed as she knew it was fruitless with what she was trying to do. She could see that being a Jedi was a part of Storm that could never disappear. It was like he was born with it and would die with it. The baker could see that the teen had his own lifestyle of being a kid, and she decided just to accept it.

"Well, at least you and the princess are on good terms again. I couldn't imagine you two not being together at all," said Mrs. Cake as she stood up with her daughter.

"Why's that?" asked the Jedi Knight to the baker.

"Because you're perfect for each other," smiled the married woman as she left with Pumpkin making a noise at Storm as if to confirm what her mother said.

Storm merely took in what the baker said as he sighed. He kept twiddling his fingers between his necklace as he processed what was said. Meanwhile, Twilight was in a royal meeting with her parents as they were discussing some noble details. The princess sighed as she was a bit bored from hearing all these nobles speak; she wanted to be with Storm since they had just made up and wanted nothing more than to spend time with the boy she had feelings for. Velvet could see her daughter was a bit perkier as the information from her husband informing that she brought Storm using a Rune Gate made her smile a bit as she knew the Jedi Knight was a positive influence on her child.

Once the meeting ended, Twilight was in her room as she began to change from her royal regalia into her casual wear. She was looking to head out and meet Storm to have some fun when she halted upon seeing the doors to her room open up; there was her father. Twilight gulped at seeing her dad as behind the King was Moondancer as, the handmaiden to the princess had her head down as if to indicate the King had ordered her to open the door.

"You are not leaving the castle today!" said Night Light.

"But, Dad... I..."

"It's bad enough that you used a Rune Gate without supervision! You know how dangerous those things can be if you mess up even one rune symbol!" stated Night Light as he circled his daughter while scolding her for what she did.

"I know, Dad. But I was safe. I made sure I took all the necessary precautions if things went astray. Plus, you know I can handle that kind of magic. I even have all the runes memorized." said Twilight as she tried to tell her father that she knew what she was doing and was in no danger.

"Even so! You used an ancient form of magic our ancestors developed without my permission! Those are only used in emergencies or when transporting large goods or forces across Equis. You do not use them whenever you feel like it! Nor do you use them to travel halfway across the galaxy!" shouted Night Light, raising his voice a bit louder to show Twilight his authority over her. "As long as you live under my rule, you follow my orders! And to make matters worse, you've brought the Jedi!"

"But, Dad..."

"But what?!" yelled Night Light as he turned to his daughter and got her to flinch as she backed off.

"Z-Zecora told me that whatever was happening to the Elements involved me and Storm mending fences," explained Twilight, slightly in fear of her father.

"I will deal with that witch on my own accord," stated Night Light as he knew how the witch doctor often spoke of her oracles and the mischief they often caused. "You are not allowed to leave the castle until tomorrow when we finish meeting more nobles to be your suitors! Am I understood, young lady?!"

"Yes, father," responded Twilight as she put her head down.

Night Light huffed as he began to walk away. He stopped by to look at Moondancer as he glared at his daughter's lady-in-waiting; the girl simply got on her hands and knees as she bowed at the King's feet as if to not only respect him but beg for mercy. Night Light kept his glare at the girl as he simply walked away and showed Moondancer mercy. Moondancer lifted her head and thanked the heavens that the King wouldn't punish her for being involved with his Twilight's antics. Twilight saw her handmaiden praising her father for not firing her or throwing her out of the kingdom as she sighed heavily. She turned and closed the doors, made her way to her bed, and flopped down, the teen burying her head into her pillow as she wondered if bringing Storm here was the right call.

True to Night Light's word, the King was making his way to the stables as he had one of the stablehands prep his horse as he got on and flicked the reigns. The King was going alone as he headed off to the Everfree Forest. The journey to the forest was treacherous, but Night Light knew the path as this wasn't the first time he'd visited the voodoo witch. The tree hut of the witch was shown as Night Light tied up his horse and began to head toward the door.

Inside, Zecora was working her shadow magic as she was near her cauldron. The voodoo witch chanted to herself as she was making some potions. Soon, the sound of her door creaking open as she didn't need to look behind to know who it was.

"After all these years, the King of Equis decides to visit me once again. To what do I owe this special occasion."

The fortune teller turned to see Night Light as he took off the hood of his cloak and looked at the woman. The two looked at each other as Night Light lifted his hand a bit, to which Zecora made her way to the ruler and grabbed it.

"My King," said Zecora as she bowed her head while holding Night Light's hand before kissing it to show her respect to the ruler.

Her shadow then grabbed a jar and presented it to the witch doctor as she dipped her fingers into it. Zecora said a small prayer as she began tracing a symbol on Night Light's hand, which looked like one of the symbols on Zecora's skin. After reciting her chant and making the mark, she bowed again and kissed Night Light's hand.

"My King. Glory is your reign," said the woman, showing more respect to the man.

Night Light put his hand down and began to walk past the fortune teller.

"Twilight tells me you've been speaking with her," said Night Light.

"I merely told the princess what I've seen," said Zecora.

Her shadow began to move independently and pulled up a table and two chairs. The two sat as cups, and a teapot was brought.

"And you've told her that it involves the boy? You know how I feel about him, Zecora!" stated Night Light to the witch doctor.

"Yes, you resent him. But the boy plays an important role in all of this. He was important in awakening and creating the Seventh Element of Harmony. And I believe him to be the same again."

"You believe? You believe?" reiterated Night Light to let Zecora hear what she was saying.

"I'm a fortune teller, my King. I just tell what I see."

"And do you see the boy sticking around?!" asked Night Light.

"I see. You fear he'll take your daughter away from you. And like before, you'll never see her again." stated Zecora. Just the look in Night Light's eyes confirmed her suspicion. "Twilight is a smart girl and a fine heir to inherit the throne. She will become Queen, that I can guarantee. I've read her future." The voodoo witch doctor made a tarot card appear out of thin air as it was the same one that she revealed to Twilight when she and Storm came to ask about their fortunes.

"Then why must she insist on being so close to the Jedi?! She has a duty to uphold!" stated Night Light. "Is that all at risk because of this boy?!"

"That remains up to fate, just as it was fate that your daughter and her friends would awaken the Elements once again. Just as it was fate that Discord returned, Nightmare Moon, Sombra, and every other major event occurred on Equis. Just like every event that your ancestors have faced of great evil... was all fate." stated Zecora. "And fate is currently playing her hand. She knows what is to happen and what will occur. We're just pawns on a chessboard, and she is the player. Once she decides what moves we make, we have no choice but to follow them."

"Can you at least answer me this?" said Night Light as he sipped his tea. "Does Twilight's future have the Jedi in it?"

Zecora sighed as the card of Twilight's future flipped between her fingers, revealing Storm's future. The fortune teller had seen it so many times that she memorized the image; the witch doctor soon made the card vanish.

"The boy may not have a future," Zecora told Night Light.

Author's Note: It looks like Storm and Twilight managed to put their differences aside and be able to come back together to make up. Though, it seems things still are the same for the Jedi, especially with Night Light as even he's asked Zecora what Storm's future might be and the witch doctor giving an eerie response. Though, the threat she mentions still lingers on.
