The Zone is falling apart, and no one knows why it's happening. Ever since the Miracle Machine and the Brain Scorcher were shut off, the forces of The Monolith dwindled to only a few dozen all scattered throughout The Zone. The Military pulled out, leaving behind whoever wasn't lucky enough to be evacuated. Emissions worsen, eradicating anything dumb enough to cross their paths.

Snippets and anecdotes of how Major Aleksandr "Sacha" Degtyarev conducted his "lengthy and rigorous investigation" of the failure of Operation Fairway using methodologies that would make his superiors at the SBU (and the ZSU and the NGU and human rights groups) rage in horror had they knew what he was actually doing.

This is my first ever fanfiction. It will tell about the Zone in general, the people in it, the kinds of things they come accross and in particular about one character. He'll be like Ol' Forester, someone that has been chosen by the Zone for some reason, still unknown and has been blessed in ways he will slowly grasp and understand. Whether it's for good or bad we'll see.

A young man ventures with an expedition into the zone to find purpose and answers to set his mind at ease, but something finds him instead. He will face a great many things in the zone, and when you fight monsters, be wary lest you become one yourself. {Survival, mystery, horror, intrigue, tragedy}. Later crossover. Also, I have to point out that I'm assuming that anyone who reads this has some general knowledge about The Zone and the way it works.

BBC thought it would be a great idea to film a documentary in the Zone. The stalkers hired for it didn't think so, but 30,000 rubles a day is an excellent pacifier. Of course, rarely do things go according to plan, and the Zone is a fickle mistress. (Caution: coarse language and usual Zone inhumanity.)

Taking place a few weeks after the evacuation of the Operation Fairway survivors, one Loner sets off to test his mettle against the worst the Zone has to offer. Police tape and blockades define clearly what lines cannot be crossed, what questions should not be asked. Still, he goes, from circle to circle, past the din of infinite grief and into the bleak hemisphere of night...

An old Stalker reminisces of his greatest mistake, and the brother he betrayed. Read, review, and offer advice if you would like. I don't own S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Takes place in the CoP setting.

Things changed after the Blowout. Some for the better, some not so much. But for the men who live and die by the Zone, who work and don't play games with politics, it really was business as usual; fighting, suffering, death, as usual, and in the end the Zone will take us all.

A man leaves the safety of home to enter the Zone for the second time in his life, only to realize who-and what-he truly is. A story about one man's descent into a deep, dark rabbit hole from which the only way out is forward.

I haven't read this in ages, however it's probably just as cringe worthy as the other one.

I just don't even know how to respond. Apparently I was monologing throughout the entire thing or perhaps it was just too cliche for me to read. Who Knows.

Reporter Alexy Demchak came to the zone in search of the story that would make him. His father having filled his head with strange tales of the treasures within. While he does find a story, will he still be alive to share it with anyone, or will the zone take another victim?

An experienced stalker named Viktoriya is given a job escorting a young scientist to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

The Zone can be a lonely and dangerous place, even for the most skilled stalker. It's hard to survive alone - most stick together to increase their odds. But some wayward stalkers walk a more solitary path - the Black Road. This is their tale.

A story I wrote a while ago, I don't know if I'll continue it. As of a few years ago the company that was working on Stalker had lost the copyrights unfortunately because they were hired by a different company. They're currently working on Survarium. I will never give up my support for the "Stalker" series.
