This is a retelling of the events leading up to Breath of the Wild. As I was playing through the game, I felt the story had a lot of potential but the player was left with a lot of unanswered questions. This story is my interpretation of what happened and my attempt to fill in the gaps. COMPLETED! Keep an eye out for the sequel coming soon...

Princess Zelda was born the heir to the throne of Hyrule, a prosperous yet fragile realm. It was a throne she would never inherit. Raised by the Sheikah from a young age, she has long since forgotten her days of wearing frilly dresses and gilded crowns. She was never meant to inherit the throne of Hyrule, but perhaps she was destined to save it.

Eternal children destined to forever live in the safety of the forest. What exactly do the Kokiri do to keep themselves entertained?

This is how the capture of Ganondorf went into my eyes. It doesn't say anything about a war against Gerudos, that whole thing is a bunch of BS if you ask me. The whole thing takes place after the ending, and much before Majora's Mask. Another thing: I disagree with a timeline even existing for the games. That was never to be done with the Zelda franchise.

Anytime they stopped would give their pursuer a chance to strike. They must get to the temple, they cannot afford to stop. Link and Zelda are forced to flee after the rise of the new demon king, but how long they'll withhold, only time can tell. Post-Skyward Sword, contains violence and mentions of traumatic events. Has ZeLink, but it's not so in your face.

They had talked about it, of course. One day they'd get married. She'd wear white and he'd dress his best and with the blessing of the Goddesses, join their lives. One day they'd have children. Maybe a daughter, perhaps a son, possibly one of each or even multiple of both. One day they'd be a full-fledged family helping the residents of the surface populate the growing kingdom.

It was strange to have a quiet moment these days. Between the Queen's never-ending duties as the head of the kingdom, Link's duties as a noble consort and second-in-command to the Hylian army, and parents to a very rambunctious young princess...time was sparse to spend on such frivolous things as enjoying each other's company.

When Zelda's urges get too hard to manage, she finds a group of Hylian soldiers to help her.(Hyrule Warriors)

"Link!" He faintly heard Riju scream, but his body was far too weak and already her voice sounded distant. His world span around him, becoming dark as he twitched and seized, grasping at the cold sands beneath him for what little comfort they could offer. Hyrule's Last Champion is struck by Vah Naboris. Fatally. But is it truly the end when an old friend comes to his aid?

[Short Collection] In the years that followed the fall of Calamity Ganon, the kingdom changed dramatically. The emergence of a Hero and the long lost Princess brought forth the rise of a new era. Yet what may have been the most dramatic change at all was what grey between two keepers of the triforce and the bond they shared.

It was strange to find peace. It was strange to find stability. It was stranger still to be here today, with HIM. They'd never quite made it this far before, but for today, she was thankful.

Link would never brag about his deeds. But because of his humility, the people of Hyrule did not know that the quiet young man always willing to help them was silently struggling to find himself again as he fought against the evil threatening their land. (Sequel to New Memories) 8 months after their fateful duel on Hebra Mountain, Link and Zelda are in high spirits, with their child soon to arrive. But with Link obsessed with his parentage, the merger of Gearnat soon upon them, and an ancient evil making its presence known, new challenges will appear.
