Link wakes up imprisoned. Not as himself but as a wolf! In a panick he realizes that he is chained to the floor. He must escape to save his friends! Trapped, beaten and starving how can he trust this imp creature who promises him freedom? A life of slavery or an eventual painful death?

Link's departure from the Kokiri Forest hadn't gone unnoticed by Ganondorf. Set upon by the Desert Man's minions, Link was greviously injured, and only able to make it to the sanctuary of Lon Lon by sheer luck and the help of a girl who'd one day be amongst his dearest of friends.

Ganondorf had always known the price of war was a heavy one, but he'd sworn to do anything he could to save his people. If he didn't, the Gerudo would perish, their legacy buried beneath the desert's shifting sands. Little did he realize that his plan to seize Hyrule and steal the Triforce would cost a lot more than he bargained for. Nabooru had been right- he was a monster.

Legends are passed down for a reason. I always thought that these stories were meant to teach us lessons, to better understand how lives came to be before logic and reason began. I however, always thought that these stories were just that. Stories. (Zelda AU? I left it open to interpretation. Told through an OC.) One-Shot
