Prudence Salvatore opened the door to her apartment and stepped inside, turning on the light before locking the door behind her and placed her purse on the table next to the door. She took off her high heels and went into the bathroom to remove her makeup with a face scrub. She went into the kitchen after removing the scrub with a wet cloth. She switched on the radio and allowed the music fill her ears as she walked to the refigerator and picked out a bottel of wine, which she carried with her through the apartment. She opened the franch doors, and walked out onto the balcony, sat down on the couch, poured some wine into the glass, and took a sip while looking up at the night sky. Prudence pondered often what would have happened if she had never left Mystic falls. What if she had Married Matthew lockwood. but then she looked down at the ring on her finger, and tears welled up in the corners of her eyes. If she hadn´t run away that night, she learnt of Mattehew and that woman, she would never have met him.
Kol Mikealson had entered her life, and her entire world had changed. It became complet. Suffering from a broken heart. It had never occurred her to pause for a moment and consider her furture, nor had she considered finding love again. But then he appeared into her life as a speeding car going by, but instead he stayed. He taught her the concept of true love. He taught to her that it was acceptable not to be perfect, but rather to be yourself.
Her life had been wonderful until she discovered Kol was a vampire. He was the very thing her father had been protecting her from her entire life. But he was no ordinary vampire. He was an original vampire. Every other vampire descended from him and his siblings. She had fled in terror, but he had pursued her, pleading with her not to abandon him because he had discovered something he loved more than killing, he had discovered her. He promised her that if she gave him a chance, he would do better, and everything had been great until he vanished into thin air on Christmas eve.
For many years, she despised him for abandoing her when she needed him the most. Thoughout the years she had been wondering how it was possible for her to become pregnant since Kol was a vampire. But she had stopped looking for answers after the birth of her son. But as the years passed, she became aware that she did not appear to look like a woman her age.
Everything changed after her son had been killed in a car accident. He had woken with an insatiable craving for blood and she realized he was a vampire. From that day forward, she made it her mission to find answers, and in her search, she came across a powerful witch, who told her that she had died during child birth with vampire blood in her body, but because she came from a long line of magical creature, the vampire blood had not changed her, but it hand transformed her into somekind of hybrid. The only question she couldn´t answer was how she had been pregnant.
She was so preoccupied with her thoughts that she didn´t notice her son stepping out onto the balcony until he spoke." Hi mom."
Prudence raised her head and smiled lovingly at her son before speaking." Hi baby."
"I´m going out to find some food." He informed her.
"What kind of food are we talking about?" She inquired.
He rolled his eyes as her before speaking." Don´t start, okay."
Prudence didn´t injoy seeing him out on the street feeding on innocent people, but she knew he only did it when he truly needed to, she was so scared he´d get discovered. They were residing in England 10 years ago when he was discovered feeding on a woman, it was the reason they had to relocated to Paris.
When he noticed the worried look in her eyes, he sighed." I swear I´m not going to kill anyone." He said this to her before turning around and walked back into the apartment.
Prudence covered herself with the blanket that had been laying on the chair next to the couch before laying back and staring up at the Eiffel tower.
Prudence sat there for a while before returning inside of the apartment and got ready for bed. Her thoughts returned to Kol as she lay in her bed. He might have have abandoned her, but he gave her the most wonderful gift, her son, and for that reason, he would always be her perfect disaster
