The island of Laugh Tale- a legendary island that has been searched for by pirates and marines alike. An island so well-known, yet shrouded in an air of mystery so profound that no being could resist it's allure. It was rumored that at the heart of the island rested the greatest treasure of them all, the One Piece. However, many pirates and marines also know another thing- that Gol D. Roger hid all his treasure and wealth on that island. The object of his desire, however, was not the fabled treasure itself, but the knowledge it held- knowledge that most likely transcended the boundaries of this world. That island now lay in front of his eyes.
As his ship cleared through the fog surrounding the island, he couldn't help but gasp at the scenery before him. The island of Laugh Tale, the island that everyone has been hoping to find- was beyond his wildest dreams. He felt as if he had entered another world. Coughing into his hand and focusing on his objective, he got off his boat at took his first step on the island. Immediately feeling a sense of relaxation, a sense of surprise came over him, as he never expected such a passive buff to exist when on the island- even so lasting for this long. However, he couldn't be surprised by such things yet. The main course was yet to come.
As he ventured deeper into this enigmatic realm, his footsteps seemed to echo not only through the island but also through the corridors of time and destiny. With the embodiment of death lingering on him, he strode forward with the grace of a divine- no, a supreme being. His piercing crimson orbs scanned the surroundings for any sign of the treasure that he sought, as well as being on guard against anything or anyone that might appear.
With every step he took, he couldn't help but feel that the island itself was welcoming his arrival. With every step leading deeper into the heart of Laugh Tale, he couldn't help but notice a subtle change in the atmosphere. It was as if the very island itself was holding its breath, waiting to reveal its secrets to those who dared to seek them. He soon saw a treasure chest in the middle of a clearing. Despite being so obviously a trap, he didn't sense anything, so he approached and proceeded to open the wooden chest.
Looking at what was inside the treasure chest, he couldn't help but laugh. His laughter began as a low, almost hesitant chuckle, like a mere ripple on the surface of a vast, dark ocean. But as the seconds passed, it grew louder, more resonant, until it reverberated through the very heavens themselves. His laughter was not the jovial mirth of a man who had found a long-lost treasure; it was the laughter of one who had glimpsed at merely a piece of the truth and found it absurd beyond measure.
"To think that the treasure I have been searching for all these years would be this..." his voice cut through his own laughter, his words laden with a mixture of disbelief and amusement. His crimson eyes, usually cold and calculating, now gleamed with an otherworldly light.
As laughter echoed through the island's depths, as the mysteries of Laugh Tale began to unravel, it was time to return to the inception of this extraordinary journey—a journey that all began with one simple salary man who turned into his game character. A skeleton the whole world will know as Ainz Ooal Gown.
