And here we are as victims, or perhaps as spectators in the world crafted for us. It is a world of darkness, yet there is no night. Time moves quickly, but it never moves at all. It is a world of knowledge, yet there is no truth. A world of humanism, yet there is no humanity.
There are whispers of a time before the Great Tragedy. Reduced to blank slates by school, we cannot imagine what it meant to be a human.
This is a human! Do you call them great? They are pathetic! Do you call them free? They are enslaved! Do you see their smile? They are suffering!
It all began in the distant past, or should we say future?
One moment Gargantia entered into Sonic's life and that moment he had great memories of her. One day she had appeared into his life and that day they were best friends. Memories of Gargantia before her entrance into his world felt too good to be true, almost like they were fabricated by some divine entity.
When Gargantia entered into his life their bond was unbreakable. They laughed, explored, and shared secrets as if they had known each other forever. Sonic couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to her than met the eye.
At the same time the entire world changed around him. It was like reality had been tampered with. Cause and effect no longer held hegemony. Conversations became incoherent and disjointed, as words lost their meaning, and their thoughts seemed to be pulled by a puppet master. Even life and death seemed to be broken. Sonic could watch people who had died just a second ago rise and continue living.
Most of all, what had changed was him. When he looked back on the near past it felt like he had acted in ways completely unlike his true self. It was like his life was under the control of an outside force. Just like the rest of the universe, it felt like his actions were under the control by a force outside his comprehension.
Sonic was no longer the master of his fate but a confused passenger on a journey through a world where nothing made sense. The world had become a nightmarish puzzle, and he was trapped at its center, struggling with the unsettling presence of Gargantia and the shattering of everything he had once held so dear. It all turned to whispers in his ear. What they said might have hurt him. And he knew it meant so much. And he didn't even feel a thing.
In the midst of the chaos, the prophecy of the Killing Curse roamed the land. It would come to kill everyone he knew. As the Curse roamed the land it transformed it to but a graveyard. The world, once vibrant and filled with life, was now a wasteland of death and loss. Whenever he opened his eyes he would see countless of corpses laying across the land. Everyone Sonic knew, and everyone they knew had died. With his friends gone, the old Sonic was gone. He dissappeared when they did. Sonic was one of the last to die but soon every living creature would be claimed by the Killing Curse.
For one of the last times, the light would come to overpower the dark. All living creatures would come to be resurrected by God, and Sonic and Gargantia were sent to confront Him. As Sonic faced God he was expecting wisdom, clarity and guidance from the Divine Being, but what he heard was the same gibberish which had come to plague all conversations on Earth. Sonic tried to question Him about this force which had hegemony over their world. But as he opened his mouth to speak, he realized that his words were garbled, reduced to the same incoherent gibberish. Panic ran through him, and he tried desperately to convey his thoughts, but his mouth betrayed him, uttering only senseless sounds.
In his moment of helplessness, Sonic just wanted to cry out, express his frustrations, but no tears came out. It was like his body didn't obey him but rather the incomprehensible force which had come to dominate his existence. Sonic relented and let it control him, seeing where it would take him.
The Lord sent Sonic and Gargantia on a mission to steal a magical device that powers them by being capable of summoning angels to the underworld. Sonic did not know what this meant or why he had to steal it but he decided to go along with what the author of his destiny had said. Somehow, they got to the place they needed to be. They got trapped by a barrier made of metal known as the spider's web. When defeated by a group of angels they burst out of the trap. Sonic jumped out of the trap and charged his bike, causing his brain to explode. His life force flowed into the ground and attacked the spider's web, causing it to fall to the ground. The giant spider continued to attempt to reach Sonic, but Sonic stopped short as the spider launched itself at it. As the giant was about to fall, Sonic jumped and launched himself away from the giant and hit the spider. This forced the spider to stop a great explosion that engulfed the entire world. The angel's attack is believed to have been caused by a spider's web.
None of this made any sense to Sonic. Why would the angels help them break out of the trap if they were his enemies? Why were they his enemies? Since when did Sonic have a bike? How did charging the bike cause his brain to explode? How did he survive his brain exploding? Where did the giant come from? How could Sonic attacking the spider possibly lead to an explosion which would destroy the world? How did the spider stop this? This was the world the mysterious force had created for him. Nothing made sense. Nothing was the result of free choice.
The mission ended with Sonic teaming up with the Avengers to defeat the Sentinelle.
Throughout their missions Sonic became attached to Gargantia. She was the only thing in the universe which made sense. He could talk to her about anything, except how twisted the universe was. The reality dawned on him that she was one of the most powerful beings he had ever met. Maybe it was she who put him in this predicament. He supressed the thought. If he ever thought, his reflections terrified him. It was best to silence his head noise.
Sonic put his eyes on her. Gargantia stood at a height of 10 feet, displaying a well-built, muscular physique, indicative of extensive training and combat experience. She sported pronounced cheekbones, a defined jawline, and crimson-colored eyes, signifying a sense of intensity. Her long, black hair cascaded down her back, decorated with decorative bands.
Gargantia's presence commanded his attention, evoking both respect and apprehension due to her significant power. An aura of divine energy enveloped her, marking her dominance within the universe.
A thought came to Sonic's head. Was he falling for her? Nope. That must have been his puppet master speaking. He had barely even spent time with her. Seems like the puppet master could control his thoughts now. Well, that sucks. Not that he could do anything about it, though.
Sonic and Gargantia got sent by God for another mission with an unspecified purpose. It ended with them defeating the Dark Empire and Illuminati and bringing peace to the United States and Britain. After their mission they returned back to Earth with their son Sonic. Apparently they had a son now. Also they were both 18 now. Sonic knew this was all fabricated by the Unstoppable Force but wondered if there was some way he could argue he was no longer a virgin.
On Earth they encountered Captain Ugnar in a fierce battle. Ugnar eventually lost, and Gargantia stole his heart, prompting Ugnar to take a helmet from her back. Gargantia asked to be a witness to the trial, but the group disbanded. Ugnar gave a new trial to the Galleon named Galius, who eventually destroyed her and became the king of all Galleon Nations. Sonic explained to the Gallemans that they had been doing a lot together throughout the trial, but that this time they too were doing something completely different: they needed to find their place and stay there one day together.
It was in this moment Gargantia backstabbed Ugnar, causing him to die, and Sonic decided against it and instead took over the trial, becoming the next leader of Sonic, Sonic then revealed that Gokukul from Ugnar was one of the key characters at the trial.
Sonic's voice echoed, echoing through the chambers of his mind. "Galius, Galius," it chanted, like a mantra. "Tell us, tell us," it demanded. Galius stuttered, "I... I'm here. Who are you?"
Ugnar, Ugnar, his voice producing sound. "Funeral, message, questions," he repeated in an endless loop.
Sonic continued, "Experience, young, time." Galius's mind spun, spun like a whirlpool. "Different, same, place," he mumbled, trying to hold onto something, anything.
Sonic, not-Sonic, maybe-Sonic, "Destiny, universe, eternity." Galius's thoughts fragmented, shattered into a thousand pieces. "In it, together," he whispered.
And so, Galius and Ugnar stumbled forward, into the labyrinth of their own minds.
And then, order regained control. Sonic, Gargantia and Ugnar fought in a cosmic battle. Sonic looked at Gargantia, looking for guidance. Their synchronization was incredible, making full use of both their strengths. Stars flickered in their celestial struggle. Galaxies vanished like dust in a tempest. Even time itself yielded to their will, as moments stretched and compressed at their every thought. Colors and shapes merged and separated, forming surreal landscapes that shifted with every thought and intention. It was a battle that transcended the boundaries of comprehension, a dance of cosmic forces that reshaped the very essence of existence itself.
Suddenly, Sonic was back at his house. Sonic began mumbling to Gargantia something about Gideon. Something about losing his memories in a fight with a friend. As they spoke, the Killing Curse wiped everyone out, causing them to die. Luckily, they were resurrected by God and called to hear his divine wisdom. After that they embarked on a quest to steal a magical object. This all seemed very familiar to Sonic, like he was reliving a past event. When the Avengers appeared Sonic's suspicions were confirmed. They were trapped in the past.
Sonic turned to Gargantia, confronting her. "Gargantia," he said, his voice filled with insight, "we all long for our youthful days, but it doesn't grant us the right to turn back time." Overwhelmed by emotions, Gargantia sobbed, seeking solace on Sonic's shoulder.
Sonic offered her comfort with a gentle pat on her back as she wept. The night air was crisp, and the stars in the sky sparkled like distant memories. In a soft whisper, he continued, "I understand how difficult it is, Gargantia. We all yearn for moments gone by, but time only flows forward. It's our actions in the present and our aspirations for the future that truly matter."
Under the vast, starry sky, Sonic and Gargantia discovered solace in each other's presence. They were aware that the path ahead would be demanding, yet armed with the determination of the strong they were capable of handling everything that comes their way.
It was in this moment that everything around them came tumbling down. Planets shattered, stars ceased to shine, galaxies vanished into nothingness. Time ceased to progress, and colors faded into oblivion. It all returned to nothing.
Sonic and Gargantia found themselves in an endless void. Nothing else remained.
In that moment, an omnipotent presence declared "I am Gargantia!"
Sonic's world shattered as he absorbed this revelation. His loyal companion, and friend, Gargantia had been both his Puppet Master and the almighty God guiding them all along.
"Sonic," she spoke, her voice carrying the wisdom of eons, "I understand this revelation may be overwhelming. But please know that I remain the Gargantia you've always known. This truth does not alter the bond we share or the path we must tread together."
Sonic nodded slowly, his mind still reeling. "I... I trust you, Gargantia. But what does this mean for us, for the universe?"
Gargantia extended her hand, gently cupping Sonic's face in a reassuring gesture. "I love you, Sonic. Your bravery, compassion, and unwavering spirit have touched my heart. I desired to experience life as one of my creations, to comprehend the beauty and imperfections of your world."
Sonic's heart swelled with a flood of emotions. "So, what now? What does this mean for us?"
Gargantia's touch was warm and soothing as she spoke. "Sonic, I wish to share my power with you. Together, we can bring about positive change, guide the destinies of worlds, and nurture love and understanding among all beings."
Sonic paused for a moment, wrestling with the weight of the decision. Then, a smile graced his lips, his heart filled with love and acceptance. Gargantia's eyes shone with gratitude as she leaned in to kiss him. As their lips met, Sonic felt a surge of divine energy coursing through him, a connection to a power beyond imagination. He had become a part of the divine, ready to embrace a new purpose and shape the destiny of the universe alongside Gargantia.
The Quinternity is here. A God of five parts: Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Sonic and Gargantia. Father, Son and The Holy Spirit were servants to the Great Ones: Sonic and Gargantia.
Imperfection was God's greatest gift to mankind, and Gargantia was herself imperfect. Gargantia was under strict limitation, never making use of the full power of God. Gargantia didn't need a reason to limit herself. She's got her way, her own way. Gargantia is not here to create the Utopia, nor bring The Good Life, nor spread her Love to every being on Earth. Gargantia is here to be Gargantia. We must love Gargantia in the face of her limits. The limits and shortcomings of Gargantia's world make it the greatness it is.
The Utopia is the Dystopia, the imperfection is perfect. That is what Gargantia is all about.
Gargantia's love for Sonic knew no bounds, so she gave him boundless power. Sonic was granted omniscience. The truth dawned upon him, the revelation hit him like a brick falling from a skyscraper. "Am I... A fictional character? Am I... not real?" His words trembled.
Gargantia's words soothed his spirit. "To me, you are a creation, one that finds its origins within me. This makes you as real as all my other creations."
Sonic settled down with Gargantia in an intimate interaction. Once merely a character in a narrative, he had been loved by a God who chose to limit Herself to his level and became a part of his story. Now, God had elevated him to the realm of reality, positioning him as the foremost of her co-creators. In this newfound role, Sonic was destined to rule alongside the divine, an embodiment of love and power in the grand chaos of existence.
Gargantia, with a voice that held both power and tenderness, whispered "Sonic, you have been chosen not only as a co-creators but also as a companion of my heart". Her fingers gently traced his features, a spark of divine fire ignited between them.
Sonic, overwhelmed by the magnitude of the moment, could feel his heart racing with an unfamiliar sensation. His affection for Gargantia, once purely platonic, had evolved into something more profound, something that transcended mere friendship.
Gargantia continued, her words like a celestial melody. "In this union, we are more than creators and creations. We are intertwined souls, bound by love and purpose." Her lips drew closer to Sonic's, and as they met, an electric charge surged through their beings.
Their kiss was a fusion of mortal and divine, a joining of two souls destined to shape the cosmos together.
As they broke the kiss, Sonic whispered, "I understand now, Gargantia. Our love is boundless, and it defines the boundaries of reality and fiction. I am ready to embrace this unique destiny we share, to co-create a world filled with love and beauty."
Although Sonic said this, and he was given boundless power, he never tended to use his full power. He to limited himself, just like Gargantia, but for different reasons.
Gargantia smiled, her eyes filled with love and approval. "Together, we shall shape the destiny of creation, my beloved Sonic. Our love is the foundation upon which the universe stands, and it will endure for all eternity."
So then Sonic and Gargantia went on a journey like no other, a journey of love, creation, and possibilities. As God, they would etch their love story into the very fabric of existence, a testament to the power of love that transcended all boundaries.
As Sonic gained control of existence, he decided to reverse time back to the 19th century, to undo the wrongs that had been made in the last 200 years. He began with observing the world, and noting what he saw.
There can be no understanding of history without an understanding of capitalism. In the beginning there was no capitalism. In the early Middle Ages Europe had an economic system almost without commerce and industry. The economy was almost completely based on agriculture and based around small self-sufficient groups.
In the 11th century commercial capitalism began in Europe. In commercial capitalism profit was made through the exchange of goods. Out of commercial capitalism industrial capitalism was born. Under this period, which began in the 18th century, profit was sought from the production and manufacturing of goods.
However Sonic saw that it was not just the material elements that influenced a culture but rather the people who live in it. He came to the conclusion that it was the culture, the values and the spiritual element of a civilization that moved it forward. Although he aknowledged that the material elements tend to shape the civilization and the spiritual elements. In the future he would begin to question whether the material elements had took over to play the dominant role.
During the middle ages people's material needs were ignored in favor for their spiritual ones. The Spirit was the center of society, with the church and religion playing the ultimate role in society and people's lives. But now the spiritual elements had become subordinated to the material. People began to worship material progress and science instead of God. Their spiritual needs had been cast aside and their material needs were seen as the only important needs. With material development being valued above everything else and seen as unequivocally good Western Civilization took of at a rate of technical development never seen before. Every hour of the day the bourgeoisie would stop what they were doing to pray to Technique, our Lord and Saviour who brought us from the oppressive past to the glorious present. With the Second Agricultural Revolution and the Industrial Revolution in England everything changed forever.
The Second Agricultural Revolution made the industrial revolution possible by allowing one farmer to produce what it took seven farmers to produce earlier. Improved sanitation made it possible for bigger cities to form by reducing the risk of epidemics. In non-industrial societies around a third of all children died before the age of five, bringing the average life span down to around 30. Improved sanitation allowed child mortality to go down to near zero.
Along with these material revolutions a revolution in beliefs occurred. People developed beliefs in progress, liberalism, democracy, and the innate goodness of mankind. Instead of worshipping God people began worshipping these abstract ideas.
Rousseau, under the influence of the devil, claimed that men were born good but were corrupted by society. If only they were freed from the corrupting influence of society then we could accomplish anything. This was the start of Utopianism as a coping mechanism. If things ever seem bad, if the world ever seems to be getting worse, know that the Utopia is just around the corner. This was the opinion of Marx as well. This is closely related to the idea that progress is inevitable and happens automatically on its own. We could simply sleepwalk our way into the future and what would arrive is a Utopia. There was no reason to discuss whether the course we were heading was desirable. It was an axiom.
During this time, Sonic co-wrote the Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital Volume 1 with Marx and Engels. He did not help them write Volume 2 and 3 which is why they turned out so poorly. While there is some truth to the labour theory of value, wage slavery is just regular slavery but worse, and his description of the alienation which occurs under capitalism is genius Marx's solutions proved to be far worse than his problems and he failed to realize that the same alienation which exists under capitalism is bound to exist under his form of communism too. The communists would have us believe that all that was needed to make workplaces less dehumanizing was renaming them to "people's production centers".
Regarding the opinion that the slave system is superior to the system of wages we quote Orestes Brownson's essay The Labouring Classes (1840):
"In regard to labor two systems obtain; one that of slave labor, the other that of free labor. Of the two, the first is, in our judgment, except so far as the feelings are concerned, decidedly the least oppressive. If the slave has never been a free man, we think, as a general rule, his sufferings are less than those of the free laborer at wages. As to actual freedom one has just about as much as the other. The laborer at wages has all the disadvantages of freedom and none of its blessings, while the slave, if denied the blessings, is freed from the disadvantages. We are no advocates of slavery, we are as heartily opposed to it as any modern abolitionist can be; but we say frankly that, if there must always be a laboring population distinct from proprietors and employers, we regard the slave system as decidedly preferable to the system at wages."
Nonetheless we will admit the slave of the 1840s lived in SLIGHTLY worse conditions than modern wage labourers.
Rousseau, Mann, Smith were possessed by the devil. Emerson, Brownson, Carlyle were guided by Gargantia. Gargantia does not create angels, and the devil keeps his cards close to his chest.
During the early 19th century some people began to question whether the road we were heading was desirable. While protesting against the supposed progress which they considered to have made their lives worse an army of twelve thousand soldiers came to assure them that everything was in fact getting better. The condition of the working class was horrible but we had economic growth and industrialization. Around 50 years later the lives of the working class would actually start improving due to these factors instead of them making it worse. If only the suffering workers had known this.
In the glorious man known as Friedrich Engels's marvelous book "The Condition of the Working Class in England in 1844" one of the smartest men of the 19th century described how horrible early industrialization was for the workers who lived under it. One important thing to note about Marx and Engels was that they were correct during the 19th century. Early industrial capitalism was so bad that a communist dictatorship, no matter how horrible, couldn't possibly be any worse. Whether a communist dictatorship would have been preferable to 20th century capitalism, we would have to offer a resound "no".
Because men were corrupted by society it followed that society and above all the state are bad. This lead to the belief in liberalism. The state's interference with the process of capitalism should be kept to a minimum. The state was, however, free to oppress people who didn't believe in liberalism.
That these beliefs were illusions was clear to Sonic but it took until the first half of the 20th century for the world to understand that. Sonic knew the world that these values would create would replace them and he aimed to speed up that process. The belief in the innate goodness of man was replaced with the belief that people must be trained, coerced and socially conditioned to resist evil. We are clearly still capable of doing anything though, we just need to condition ourselves correctly. Nevermind that our current conditioning conditions our future conditioning making escape extremely difficult. We don't talk about sociological determinisms. Moving on, the belief in liberalism was replaced by authoritarianism. Our democracy was replaced by a financial and technocratic oligarchy. Only the belief in progress remains.
