It was finally done. He found the one piece. But at what cost?
10 Days earlier Luffy and his friends were looking for the one piece as always. Zoro was of course… sleeping, Nami was navigating, Usopp was trying to invent something that would help his friends find the one piece, Sanji was of course (being the simp that he is) trying to flirt with Nico, and chopper is trying to make new types of medicine (he is a doctor after all). But what about Luffy? You may ask, he's (of course) in the fridge finding some food. Then suddenly they are attacked by a group of pirates known as the death pirates (a group of pirates that had a 1,000,000,000,000 on their heads). Luffy and the others go outside to see what was going on.
Luffy: Hey, what the hell do you think you're doing?
Suddenly the leader steps out and introduces himself
Captain death: I'm the captain of this crew and I demand that you pirate wannabees leave.
Captain Death had a hat that looked like it was worn out for some time. And his clothes were all ragged and torn up. He always carried a scythe with him. The scythe looked like it was years old. The blood on it was dry and the handle looked like it was about to give out.
Luffy: don't you dare think that we are just going to run away! Gum gum…
Luffy then stretches his arm to throw a punch. But when his fist makes contact with Captain Death's chest his hand phases right through him.
Luffy: What the…
Captain Death chuckles, and then that chuckle turns into maniacal laughter.
Captain death: you fool. I ate the dead reaper fruit. Which means I'm a ghost reaper, a reaper that is dead itself so you can't kill me!
Luffy: But that doesn't make sense.
Captain death: nothing make sense when it comes to devil fruits
Luffy: Oh yeah…
Captain death: anyways… get them men!
Suddenly the death pirates all jump on top of the going merry. The straw hat crew (except for Usopp and chopper) try to fight them but they seem to have the same abilities as their captain
Captain death: as you may have noticed my crew have the same ability as me. But these abilities are temporary. And I won't tell you how I was able to give them those powers. Because it won't matter if you're dead.
Captain Death then spots Usopp and chopper and approaches them with a devilish smile on his face.
Usopp: stay back for I am captain Usopp the gre-
Usopp is suddenly punched straight in the face by Captain Death. Chopper is then paralyzed by fear as he sees his unconscious friend laying in front of him.
Chopper: Uso-
That was all the reindeer could get out before he felt a sudden sharp Pain in his chest. He looked down at the blade in his chest. Captain Death's Smile grows wider. The rest of the straw hat crew's eyes grow wide as they witness the scene, speechless.
