Sorry for the delay, I was hoping to post this earlier, it was finished on the 20th, but the sites statistics went down. It's still not fixed but I feel wrong going over the set date that I said it'll be posted on.
Chapter 3: Ferocity
(Author's Note: I changed 'Khadija'/'Serenity's age from 12 to 14 as it feels better based on future events and past ones. I have changed past chapters 1 and 2.)
Appearing within a blink, accompanied by the sound of a roaring train, is 'Number 6' in front of the police with both Marie and unconscious Franky.
Smiling appropriately, 'Number 6' hands their bodies over to Hisaki Hinata and the three other officers, who put them on stretchers.
Hinata turns to 'Number 6,' and nods in thanks, "I don't know what we would do without you, 'Number 6'." He laughs in response.
"They were damaged badly; I'll be heading back in to search for Team 1." Saluting, he disappears again with the same sound.
He runs through the halls, some of which he has supposedly never been through before, but behaves as if he's been down here many, many times.
Appearing many floors below the facility, he finds himself in a hallway similar to all the others. It differentiates itself in one aspect: the massive amount of dried blood decorating its halls and the moaning of pain and suffering that dances into his advanced ears.
He walks towards one room, knocking on the door with a specific combination. Within seconds, the door opens, showing the Manager who beckons him inside.
Upon walking in, the room is extremely clean, with wooden floors, nice walls, and a pleasant smell from inside. Wooden furniture is laid around the room with nice cushions, a TV in the corner, and a 48" flatscreen. The TV plays a Sunday morning cartoon, one he never cared for.
'Number 6' walks in; the chairs are too tempting, causing him to hop into one of the chairs and relax, while the Manager sits more respectfully on the opposite side of the room.
"Heh, quite the mess, aye? How are you going to fix this up, 'Manager'?" 'Number 6' says with a punchable, smirking expression.
The Manager looks at 'Number 6' with a still expression. She grabs a room-temperature cup of tea and takes a sip before putting it back down.
She motions and grabs a remote from the stand to her left. Clicking the button for the next channel, it pans to a camera recording of Crimson, Clair, and Mc'King running through the halls, looking for someone.
Staring at six with a cold, hard stare, "Why didn't you inform us of the raid? You would have had full knowledge of this; the protocol is to inform the Boss. This had to be planned months in advance." She leans forward, fists clenching. "We now have those damned monstrosities out there, what happened? What's your goal?"
His normal expression lessens, and his eyebrows twitch. "Uh, 'Manager', not sure if you got a screw loose, but I informed you. You replied and everything." he chuckles.
Her brows furrow, and her body freezes slightly. "I… Rokuro, I never got your message or bosses, and I never replied to anything. I got the updated plan two weeks ago, but not this." She thinks for a while as the now-named Rokuro grasps his forehead in thought.
"I… uh… huh…" Rokuro states, slightly confused. He's known 'Manager' for a while, and he's certain she wouldn't have missed the message he sent.
Silence fills the room—an uncomfortable silence, only interrupted by sounds of battle from below and above.
Clearing her throat, 'Manager,' grabs the attention of Rokuro again. "What's the situation with the squad of heroes near the stash?"
Rokuro only responds with a bloody grin: "All dead, so fast they couldn't even process it. I made sure it looked like a fight. Haruhi had to die in the process, hope you didn't mind."
Though a hint of sadness was exposed through her usual stony eyes, it quickly vanished, as if this were a normal occurrence. "It's all a part of the job; attachments are how we lose."
"Since you didn't get the memo and the plans, I'ma tell you now then, it's only fair." Rokuro shifts himself onto the chair to sit more comfortably. "Boss would kill me if I didn't."
Noticeably, Manager sits straighter and stares at Rokuro with interest, filling her eyes. "Please do."
The next thirty seconds are filled with explanations of the plans. Throughout this, the Managers' expressions barely change. Upon hearing the ending, she sighs out of relief.
"Just like Boss, never forgetting his best workers. Here I was thinking he abandoned us about ten minutes ago." She states this with a stone-faced expression, causing Rokuro to nod in response.
A ping goes off suddenly on Rokuro's watch. His expression changes.
Normally smirking, his smile becomes bloodthirsty, his eyes wide with hunger and his blood bubbles. Though hard to see because of the reflection, the words Serenity and 00:00:00 are clearly shown on the screen of the watch.
He stands up quickly, turning around as he approaches the door. Watching him, the Manager says "Good hunting."
With the handle grasped, he turned back to the Manager. "What we discussed starts now. Get your remaining boys and girls ready. There will be no Kurogiri to save us. Do your best."
When the Manager responds to him with a slight nod, he opens the door and walks out. Upon his exit, he disappears, paired with that terrifying train sound once again.

.
The sound of a clock ticks throughout the room, filled with a dull violet light. In the middle lies a vat of dull-violet liquid.
Floating inside is Serenity, though with closed eyes, it's clear the eyes are moving behind the eyelids violently.
Her body tenses, and bright neon red lights flash across the room. Paired with the lights, are a blaring horn noise.
Serenity's body seizures as the computers in the other room are blaring warning signs with erratic graphs. In that room, there are 32 dead scientists.
Seconds pass as Serenity keeps seizuring until a friendly bell-like sound erupts from the pod.
Gradually, the dull-violet liquid drains through the vats grates, leaving over time the slowly stilling Serenity still twitching.
The vats door puns from the top, and her body is hit with a burning cold blast of air; this, along with other sensory effects, immediately awakens her.
With wide eyes, she stares at the roof. The roof she has always known, the memories calm her.
Serenity waits and continues to wait. After twenty seconds passed, she became confused.
Where was her family? They would have been here now to conduct their daily activities.
The thought of leaving the pod herself scares her.
She waits another ten seconds before she climbs to her knees to peer cautiously outside the vat.
Though extremely quiet and unhearable because of the blaring horns erupting every two seconds, she mumbles, "Father?"
No response.
Looking around and towards the one-sided window she peers through, though unknown by the scientists, she could always see them on the other side.
Her favorite was her long, blonde uncle. His voice was funny.
Upon looking through the glass, she stills. All she can see is blood. The window is shattered, and the glass is going into her room. Blood covers approximately 90% of the window. The small bits she can see through show bodies, specifically those of her family.
Body shaking from the coldness of the room, she forgets her fears of leaving the vat and steps outside, bare feet plopping on the clean metal floor. She walks, and her face as usual shows no emotion, even when the sharp shards of glass try to puncture into the bottoms of her feet.
The glass doesn't puncture her skin; it breaks further because of her feet.
Approaching the mirror, she smashes it, causing the entirety of it to break apart, falling to the floor. Looking inside, she stares at all but 2 of her 34 membered family. Aunt Yukiro, brother Reishu, and even grandpa Kiriso.
All their bodies are mangled, and shards of glass decorate their soon-to-be decomposing bodies.
Their faces differ from usual. The sagginess and different mouths make her question if they are her family. Her family doesn't look like this. Surely she would have known.
Staring at the thirty-two bodies, she has only one question. Where are Father and Brother Gerino?
Walking into the room, stepping over all the bodies, she examines their wounds.
All show similar injuries, and with weapons in hand still, she's able to partially guess what occurred.
All she can think of is: Why would her family fight and kill each other? This isn't them, but did she really know them?
Thinking back, arguments between her family were frequent, shoving was common. She begins to rationalize, it must have been an argument turned violent.
She walks towards the door, which is now partially kept open. This is because one of the scientists' bodies being in the middle, holding the doors open.
Walking out, she peers into the hallway, which is split into three separate ones. The one directly facing the door has two corpses, one of which she recognizes to be brother Gerino, though despite his missing head, his leg tattoo proves it to be him.
Unconsciously she rubs the left side of her neck, located there is a healed scar, barely visible to the naked eye. Standing there, it appears she's in a trance before snapping out of it.
She looked further down the hall to the stairway.
She never went up those stairs. Her family never allowed her, the one time she tried brought her a punishment most severe.
Slowly, she walks to the stairs, and with some hesitation, she climbs them. Though normally hard to hear, with her increased senses, she can hear battles from above, approximately three floors above her.

With each hand transformed into a pair of scissors, Monika slices at the disgusting creature in front of her.
The creature backs off some feet, allowing her some breathing room. Panting heavily, she takes a moment to look at her bloodied arms; heavy gashes are laid upon each, causing much blood flow.
The creature charges once more, only for enlarged pipes to be shot at its side, causing it to crash into the metal walls with a loud crash.
"Monika, are you alright?" yells a damaged heroine wearing a purple visor.
Though it takes some seconds, Monika stammers out, "Y-Yes, I'm okay, thank you." After some breaths, she continues. "Have you called for Teams 1 and 4? I'm not sure how much longer we can hold them off."
Looking out to her left, she sees Gang-Orca, Rock-Lock, and the other hero fending off the second creature with difficulty.
The shifting of rubble occurs to her right, both her and the heroine readies themselves.
Suddenly, a blast of highly pressurized water shoots at Monika, not fast enough to dodge; she's rocketed back straight down the hall towards the other fight.
To make matters worse, the other creature appears on top of her still-moving body, a claw-like arm ready to strike.
Swinging downwards, it suddenly becomes frozen in place mid-air. In fact, it appears to be moving extremely slowly as a snail would.
With his hand held outward, the other unknown hero of Team 3 has it covered in an ethereal white glow. Though wearing a basic white uniform, his normally white eyes seem to be strained and start to bulge and shake.
Gang-Orca takes advantage of this and grabs the creature by the neck. Upon being secure, he lifts it upside down and lays it across his shoulders. Bouncing off his feet, Gang-Orca jumps and body slams the creature downwards. This causes the creature to crash head-first into the hard metal floor.
Taking advantage, Gang-Orca grapples with the creature. Grabbing a muzzle device, he tries to put it on. Though resisting, due to Gang-Orca's body and position, he's able to secure it onto the creature's face.
Rock-Lock, sure the situation is clear, looks towards the other creature who shot Monika towards them.
The heroine fires more projectiles at the creature, though it seems to not be as effective because of its increasing ability to predict and dodge them.
Over a few seconds, the creature gradually approaches the purple-visored heroine at a dangerous pace.
Seeing the dicey situation, Rock-Lock charges towards her to give support.
The creature is fast—too fast, as it appears in front of her.
It pushes her onto the ground, her face filled with fear as she stares into the shredding orifice. Raising its left claw, it slashes downward onto her body.
It's making short work of the purple-visored heroine. Two other slashes cause massive blood spray; it grasps her head and slams it into the cold metal floor. With the sound of a fierce crack, her body goes limp.
With a loud yell, Rock-Lock charges at the creature. Unsure of the state of the heroine, he's determined to save her.
Monika, terrified, holds the earplug on her left ear, and though no beeping sounds occur, she speaks, "H-Help, send anyone you can; it's getting real- Ah!" Something shoots at her causing her to let go of the button turning it off.
Looking toward the shot, she freezes. The blood body of Gang-Orca lies on the ground in a pool of his blood. The creature is standing above him, trying to get the mask off of its face, but failing to since it needs a key.
Gang-Orca is luckily breathing, but he needs help badly and fast. Turning to the other hero, who was slowing the creature down, Monika sees him covering his eyes with his arms, blood seeping out.
Shards of bloody bone are seen below his feet, looking to be replicas of the creature's claws.
Staring at the creature again, though slowly, its current small claws are growing to their normal size.
The creature charges at Monika, only to be stopped by the white-wearing hero again. Though his eyes are streaming blood, he's able to barely stare at the creature. His arm is held out to the creature, causing it to glow ethereally white.
He turns to Monika and says, "Go! The authorities aren't responding, so something must have gone wrong! Make sure they're alright; we'll hold them off!"
Looking at him in shock, she stammers, "N-No way! You'll surely die if I leave!"
He yells out strongly, "I'll die whether or not you're here! Go! Someone has to be alive to report what has happened!"
She holds still and thinks rapidly. Many scenarios go through her head until a piece of rubble smacks into the back of her head. Turning around, she sees Rock-Lock fending off the other creature, heavily wounded and bleeding profusely.
"Monika go! Someone must know what's happening if—" it cut his sentence off as the creature appears once again in front of him and slashes, only for him to block it with a panel of metal locked in place.
Face tense, he continues while struggling. "If the authorities above are incapacitated, we're sitting ducks with no one to contact on the outside. Please leave!" The creature swipes once more, this time connecting with Rock-Lock's right eye, causing it to be sliced straight through.
With a yell, Rock-Lock chucks sharp and jagged metal plates that fell from the walls, causing slices to appear on the creature's body, though slowly it is healing.
Monika looks down, shaking. Upon more seconds passing, she turns to her left and starts running down the hall where they had come from, leaving both conscious heroes to their fates, fending off the creatures.
Tears stream down her face as she hears the bellowing of the creatures behind her, paired with the sound of flesh ripping.
Though unknown to her, from the other end of the hallway comes a girl with brown skin and a purple head of hair. She stares at the scene before her with questioning eyes.

.
Gunfire erupts outside the compound, and bodies of police personnel lie around, bleeding out.
Harsh rain smashes into the ground and officers, both dead and alive.
Hisaki Hinata is crawling away, her arm broken in multiple places, trying to hide from the attackers.
One still-alive policewoman by the name of Airi Kimura holds another police officer down as he thrashes out in pain. She puts her hand to his mouth to muffle his moans of pain.
Hiding behind a destroyed cop car, she holds a small circle of wooden beads. Silently, she prays to Fukorokuju, one of the seven lucky gods.
The sounds of a car are being flung, and before she can react, a police car is flying in their direction, flying past them. It hits another police officer trying to make a retreat. The sounds of screams come quickly as he falls to the ground with the car on top of him.
The car they hide behind emanates a green aura. Being brought up into the air, the two are exposed to the one who's causing this.
With glowing pink hair, an Asian woman in her late fifties appears to be floating around five feet in the air. With one hand extending out, she has the other holding an untitled, plain brown book to her chest.
This lady is the one whom Nobu has dubbed 'Marny' during the initial attack.
With a wave of her arm, the car shoots out towards the woods, too far to be seen.
With a sneer, she looks down at the two huddled offices. "Disgusting. Just seeing you makes me feel wretched. Don't worry, you filthy, soulless beings. I will purify you and send you to the afterlife." Extending her arm towards the two, they see metal-based equipment glowing.
Both of the officers are sharply raised tens of feet in the air until stopped, floating still in the air, tens of feet high. Worry and fear fill both as they watch their final moments play out.
With a harsh swing downward, both get flung down at high speeds, only for them mid-fall to suddenly fall at a normal rate. The drastic force of gravity causes many bones to be broken upon this change, but they're able to fall onto the ground, alive but injured.
Though shaking in pain and her eyes blurring, Airi turns her head to Marny only to see the injured Aristocrat-Hero, Marie Antoinette, fighting against her.
With another jab to her solar plexus, Marie raises her right hand to Marny's hair, snuggly grasping it, tugging her downward into her rising left knee.
Not stopping, she uses her left hand to punch Marny directly on the cheek, causing her to fall onto her side. With her left leg firmly on the ground, she raises her right and diagonally kicks upwards to the falling Marny's left cheek.
Marny falls backward, only for Marie to ground herself and grasp onto both of Marny's rising legs. With a firm grasp, she used herself as a pivot to swing Marny backward. Turning herself around, Marie strongly swings downward, causing Marny to crash harshly against the ground.
With Marny on the ground, breathing, she raises her hand, causing Marie's hair pins to glow a green hue. They dislodge from her hair and stab themselves into Marie's throat, causing her to gasp.
Marie drops to the ground as well. She breathes heavily, greedily accepting the crisp air and cold water into her lungs and stomach.
She tries to sing, only for a mesh of sounds to come out as Marny moves the needles throughout her throat, causing extensive damage.
Desperate, Marie climbs up to her knees and pounces on the tired Marny. Despite the needles pulling in the opposite direction, it doesn't stop her assault.
Straddling Marny, she throws punch after punch into her face, pinning her arms down with her legs. Over a minute passes before her adrenaline goes away, causing her to drop onto Marny, fading in and out, continuing to heavily breathe.
A still unconscious Franky can be seen on a stretcher, lying on the wet, muddy ground.
Marie, contemplating for some seconds, speaks out to Airi Kimura: "Have you contacted Kenji Tsuragamae or Emi?" she asks pleadingly. Airi only nods, barely understanding Marie because of the immense ringing in her head.
"T-They'll be here soon…" Her words drift off. She feels something in her body draining, but she doesn't know what. The officer she was helping was now on top of her, holding something against her stomach.
She can't understand what he's yelling at her as tears emerge from his eyes.
Masao Sato was always quiet in the office, never speaking unless spoken to. Even then, perhaps he didn't speak at all, but he was an amazing officer, always able to see what others hadn't.
Even with blurring eyes, she can see details of his face. He's quite handsome. Slowly, she sees less and less of his face.
Masao Sato panics. He seems to yell louder now. He looks around and keeps yelling. All Airi can think of, though, is how nice his face looks. Maybe they should…
Airi Kimura fades in and out. Slowly raising her right hand, she caresses Masao's face, causing him to stop yelling and look at her. If her eyesight wasn't so bad, she'd see the tears streaming from it.
She speaks slowly, "Sato, would you want to… go…" her speaking slurs, and she's unable to finish her sentence as her body goes limp.
The last thing heard by all the still-alive officers and Marie was the sound of wailing coming from Masao Sato.

Crimson, Clair Voyance, and Mc'King blast through another set of doors. They enter a hallway similar to the one 'Number 6' or Rokuro was in before talking to the Manager.
"She's here, in that room. She seems to be tracing around the room," says Clair Voyance, with a steely expression. She's pointing at the door where the Manager let Rokuro in.
Crimson thinks for some time before speaking. "We'll bust the door down. I'll charge first. Mc'King, you'll come in from behind and launch yourself at the person inside. The main goal is access to that computer. Don't destroy it."
Mc'King nods, fists ready, glowing with that orange aura.
Crimson continues, "Clair, you'll have to fire upon her after I break into the room and before Mc'King starts his attack. We need her to be conscious and able to speak, so be mindful where you shoot."
Clair Voyance nods back as well, her eyes never leaving the figure of the woman inside the room.
Crimson Riot walks in front of the door, approximately 12 feet from it. He gets into a runner's stance. Mc'King is directly behind him, and Clair is to the door's left, leaning against the wall.
Crimson tenses up, his quirk activates, causing a jagged, hardened rock-like look to his body. Pushing onto the ground, he juts out towards the door. He crosses his arms into an X formation, tucking his head into his forearms as he crashes into the metal door.
The door caves in, the rusty hinges snap with ease, and the door falls into the room. Crimson doesn't halt his charge, entering the midst of the room.
The Manager is amid a walk, head turned towards Crimson with a steely, neutral expression. She walks towards Crimson, who's still in the same stance as before.
Clair Voyance pulls out her pistol, aiming it into the room. She fires two shots at the Manager's. legs. They make contact, but she doesn't seem to be. Affected, it seems to do nothing at all with a glance. Firing five more at different parts of the Manager's body, they now appear to be absorbed through her skin.
Mc'King dashes into the room. Turning on his heels, he throws a hard right toward the Manager's bowels.
Upon contact, the fist goes right through the Manager's body, like dipping your hand into a pool of water. Half of his forearm is now inside her stomach and is exiting through her back. Water drips from his hand.
Worried, Mc'King pulling out his arm is stopped as her liquid-like stomach hardens in an instant, trapping his arm inside.
Looking up at her, she's a dark-skinned woman with dreads reaching down to her back, with charcoal black eyes covered by rose-gold colored glasses and piercings covering the left side of her nose. She gazes coldly at him.
With him locked in her, she swings her left arm towards Mc'King. He uses his right arm to grab it, but to his surprise, he phases right through it, her arm becoming liquid-like.
His arm, now going through hers, becomes frozen in place as her arm becomes solidified as well.
Clair continues to fire her pistol at her arm, stomach, and other parts, hoping one will get through, but they keep getting absorbed.
Crimson ran towards the two now intertwined, hoping to assist Mc'King, only for both of Mc'King's arms to fade into a gas-like substance, stopping at his shoulders. His now effectively amputated stubs wiggle about.
Though Mc'King yells in alarm, there's no pain from this. He's confused. Expecting an answer, he gets none from her.
Grasping a chair, Crimson chucks it towards her head, only for the same thing to occur again, except it flies right through her, not being stuck. She turns around on the spot, grasping the leg of it; she chucks it as well, though at the computer resting in the corner of the room.
Right before the chair leaves her hands, it changes into a brownish liquid, completely covering the computer. All can hear electronic sizzles coming from it.
Mc King tries to feel anything in his arms, but he feels nothing as if they never existed.
Silence fills the room until Clair Voyance breaks it. With her weapon still raised, she demands, "Miss Manager, surrender. We don't wish to hurt you." She gets an annoyed look in response.
The Manager, after some time, grabs another chair, swinging it by the handle. Mid-swing, all but the handle she's grasping changes from solid to liquid, because of the swing, the liquid splashes onto all three heroes' bodies.
Within a second, all spots hit by the liquid liquefy as well, causing all three to panic, rubbing away the substance, only causing their hands to liquify as well. The liquefaction spreads quickly, and soon a large amount of their body turns to liquid. They're physically drooping onto the floor.
With her ever-stoic expression, she motions to the three, "I hold no pleasure from this. Business is business." Without saying anymore, she approaches the three, fluid like water. She slashes at all three across the chest—any defense she passes through, none of which is fast enough to run.
Upon contact with each other, they all gradually turn into a gaseous form, though they cry out, nothing can stop what's happening. Within seconds, she's the only one in the room, cleaning off the gunk she created with the chair.
Sighing, she grasps onto her dreadlocks and starts making sure they weren't ruined.

Chucking another block into the creatures, he backsteps, hoping to make some space. Rock-Lock throws other objects into the air, freezing them in place.
He jumps along each one, and upon each jump, he has to reposition himself. The creature quickly swipes and pounces at each motion.
Turning to the creature, he throws two thin nails, each embedding into the creature, though slowly the wounds close around them, keeping them in place.
Rock-Lock drops to the floor with a roll in response to the creature's last charge, only to be stopped midway by something it can't see.
The creature looks around, only to feel two objects inside its body causing resistance.
Rock-Lock starts repeatedly throwing more and more sharp objects into the creature's body, sharp shards of metal scrap into its arms, more screws into its neck, and the remains of its claws as well.
The creature pulls the objects out, slower than the speed Rock-Lock is throwing at him.
Upon time passing, the creature has so many locked objects positioned in its body, arms, and legs that it loses the function of its entire body, frozen into an awkward position.
Breathing heavily, Rock-Lock takes a moment to breathe, only to hear the roar of the other creature behind him. Turning, he sees a white-clothed hero, his arm lowered from fatigue, causing the creature to gain movement again.
Rock-Lock chucks a piece of rock onto the floor. At its angle, it bounces towards the hero's arm. On contact, the startled hero raises his arm out of instinct, though it hurts to do so. In addition, he throws a nail, which embeds itself into the hero's now-raised arm.
Locking it in place allows the hero to freeze the creature again with his quirk.
Rock-Lock breathes heavier. He's not used to keeping so many objects locked for so long. The past combat hasn't helped either.
Steering himself, he says loudly, "Don't drop it! We will survive, Fusanosuke; you can do this!" Though doubting his own words, Rock-Lock focuses on the frozen creature he's facing, its body straining against the objects.
Seconds pass until he barely hears footsteps coming down the hall where the mohawk'd creature came from. Worry envelopes the hero. If it's another one, they don't stand a chance; they're dead.
The footsteps become louder than usual, and weirdly, the water-based hero creature becomes quiet. Following soon is the mohawk'd one, both trying to look toward the noise.
Confused, Rock-Lock looks down the hall, away from the creature, to see something that gives him pause.
Walking towards them, wearing basic black sports undergarments, brown-skinned, and a bob cut of purple hair, is a girl. It only takes a second for Rock-Lock to register. This is the fourth and most important aim.
Sweat beads down his forehead. Why is she awake? She should be in a comatose state. Emi said so.
Suddenly he feels the nail holding Fusanosuke being deactivated, causing his arm to drop once more. The beast, using Nobu's quirk, dashes at Fusanosuke, his enlarged clawed arm ready to take off his head.
Panic overflows Rock-Lock, it's too late to throw another. If he does, it might mean more become deactivated in the other. He has to save Fusanosuke and the others, but how?
The creature's claws inch ever closer to the fear-filled eyes of Fusanosuke, trying with all his might. He can't get his arms up any longer. Blood freely flows through them.
Though neither noticed, the girl at the end of the hallway was not there anymore; rather, she was behind the creature that was Nobu.
Grasping its skull from behind, she pulls and throws it over her shoulder. The creature flies and crashes into the wall with a loud crash, indenting the wall.
Fusanosuke stares directly at the back of the girl's head, trying to comprehend what he just witnessed. Unable to carry himself, he drops to the ground and passes out.
Serenity, or for them, 'Khadija', stands there, still as a statue, looking upon the creature with steely eyes.
Climbing out of the indent, instead of charging, it stares at Serenity; it walks, trotting around her in a circular motion, observing. With no reaction, she stays in the same spot, not moving.
It takes Rock-Lock some time to notice on the back of the creature's head a noticeable spot of green skin as fingers that wasn't there before. He could only describe it as when someone gets a freshly inked tattoo.
Though cautious, it doesn't take long until it resumes its normal habits. It charges wildly at the girl, a clear, thick liquid coming out of its orifice mid-charge.
The creature shifts downward, bending its knees and digging at the ground with its claws. It pushes off the ground, further speeding up its speed, causing neither Rock-Lock nor Fusanosuke to see it because of their limitations of eyesight.
Appearing two feet above, in front of Serenity, it splayed its right arm out, claws enlarged, swinging down at the still girl.
It appears the girl has already positioned herself. Turning to it, with one foot in front of the other in a fencer's position, she angles her left arm upwards. Grasping onto the creature's sagging flesh, she punctures it, causing blood flow. With a firm grip, she pivots to her right and slams the creature onto the cold, hard metal floor.
With the creature on its back, Serenity doesn't let up and pounces on the creature.
Her body normally brownish gain a slight greenish hue, the hue builds majorly into her hands.
Bending down she grasps onto two jagged pieces of metal, squeezing her hands, gradually a green liquid covers the metal.
Squatting above the rising creature, she pulls back her arms, locking them into L positions, and she drives them into the creature's face. The metal puncture and slashes like a real knife directly into the creature's face.
The creature thrashes and tries to stand back up more forcefully. It begins by planting its feet on the ground and dragging its body slowly upward.
Brow furrowing in confusion, Serenity continues her onslaught, stabbing and slicing into its face a multitude of times.
Viewing this spectacle, Rock-Lock was speechless. He wavers. He can't hold out much longer. What is he to do? What was he supposed to say? He's staring at a young girl mauling a beast who decimated them with ease.
The creature trying to get up starts to spasm and twitch, a green liquid pouring out of its human orifices and wounds=.
This spectacle of the creature trying to stand only to be continually battered by the girl continues for well over 10 more seconds until the creature stops and lays against the ground, not appearing to be breathing.
Breathing slightly more heavily, the girl stands and stares at Rock-Lock, who has the other creature pinned.
Before Rock-Lock can respond, though, he falls to the ground unconscious with a thud. His unconscious state releases the other creature.
It roars in fury and looks at Serenity, only for a loud sound to erupt from behind it — the sound of a train.
Smashing into the left side of its face is the fist of 'Number 6'; weirdly, the fist appears to be bubbling from the inside.
Upon contact, a massive explosion occurs, launching both Rock-Lock and the creature far away.
The corpse of the second creature is now splattered against the wall.
Serenity looks upon the corpse; a horrid memory goes through her head; the sounds are all too familiar.
Noticeably, 'Number 6's face is vastly different from before; while normally an Asian man, he now appears to be an old-gray-haired European man. His normal hero uniform has changed vastly; altogether, you couldn't find a single similarity between 'Number 6' and this new man.
Turning herself to 'Number 6', she sees him fiddling with his watch. Upon seconds of silence, he looks up, that shitty smirk pleasant but stronger than usual.
The sight of his new face causes Serenity to gain a tense, worried expression, and her body slightly shakes.
Seeing her reaction, his smirk turns into a full grin. "So you remember me? Well, this makes this all the more fun for me." His voice is now grumbly and low.
Before she can think of a response, the sound of a train occurs, and he appears directly in front of Serenity, fist in an uppercut position. He launches her straight into the air.
Upon being 6 feet in the air, he grabs her bare left leg and, swinging downward, slams the back of her head onto the metal. Not stopping, he pulls and slams her again on his opposite side. The impacts causes her to lose her grips on the metal pieces.
Snapping back into focus, she sharply pulls her leg out of his grasp. Pulling herself into a handstand, she flings herself backward, spinning as she lands on her feet, approximately 12 feet from 'Number 6'.
'Number 6' flexes his knuckles. Serenity can hear audible cracking.
"It's good to see you reject, or do you still prefer Serenity?" 'Number 6' begins walking towards Serenity calmly, his grin still in place.
Readying herself, she shifts again into a fencer's stance, readying herself for his attack.
'Number 6,' chuckles in response. "Still cocky, huh? I thought I'd broken that out of you. Well… It's not like it's something I can't fix!" A sadistic look in his eyes appears.
He disappears, accompanied by the blaring sound of a train. Serenity, in response, tenses up, readying herself for what angle he'll arrive at.
Seconds pass, and the train sounds keep blaring.
Appearing directly to her left, he swings a left towards her liver, only to be stopped by both of her hands, inches away from its target.
With his other hand, he swipes for her head, causing her to lean back to avoid it. This only allows him to get in closer; shifting downward, he slams that fist into her left leg, causing a loud crack and a bruise to form almost instantly.
"Still predictable. Have you learned anything? Are you trying to earn my pity reject? You ain't getting any!" Pulling back both arms forcibly, he wails at her. Each punch and kick that lands causes a harsh red bruising on her skin.
Though the creature's head was dyed green from contact with her hand, 'Number 6's body seems to have something blocking the liquid from reaching his skin, as it smudges midair, about an eighth of an inch from him. This greatly confuses Serenity.
"As always, relying on your quirk is the only reason you were picked, you know?" He grabs the top of her head, pulls it down, and slams his right knee into her face.
Spinning on his left heel, with the sound of a train occurring, he, at extreme speeds, roundhouse kicks the back of her head, launching her across the hallway, passing all the unconscious heroes.
Serenity scrambles to her feet, only for the sound of a train to occur again. He's above her, seemingly at the moment floating in mid-air. He twirls, his legs raised above.
Barely able to raise her arms in time, he slams his leg down at extreme speeds, causing an audible crack. She gets forced back to the ground by the force of the kick.
Climbing onto the elbows, barely able to hear the train this time, another kick slams into the right side of the head, causing her head to be smashed into the cold metal floor.
Thinking of a plan on the fly, Serenity changes the composition of the poison her quirk produces. Taking more hits, she's able to stand up and complete the change, resulting in her hands to drip a reddish liquid.
"I already know what you can do reject." Decking her hard in the face, he continues, "While the right choice, that's not all I got reject."
'Number 6's arms start bubbling like last time. Readying his fists, he continues his grin in confidence.
He disappears once more, and that horrid train sound erupts.
Appearing directly behind her, he quickly wraps both arms around her. He pulls her in close, his forearms connecting at her pectoral area. His arms glow for a second before a sudden and violent explosion occurs.
Smoke covers the hall. Upon seconds of it passing, he expects to see and feel the burned, smoldering body of Serenity, but he sees and feels nothing. She's vanished. He calms down and rationalizes that it has to be one of the modifications, the one that effectively turns her invisible.
The smoke, while obscuring Serenity's view, she still hears the dripping of blood and meat from 'Number 6'; his arms are blown to bits up to the forearms. Startlingly, a fast-forming regeneration is taking place.
Faint but clear, he hears the sounds of unnatural giggling. Looking around for her, he loses balance. Partially wobbling, he tries to hold still. Though it pains him to say it, some of her poison must have gone through his protective armored skin, even after he destroyed his arms just in case.
In his poisoned state, his veins start to blacken and he starts shaking violently. Looking around he sees glowing lights around the room. The brightness causes him to instinctively cover his eyes with his still-forming left arm.
Though he knows they're not real, it's an instinct he cannot control.
'Number 6' body bubbles, upon a closer look it can be seen gradually changing. Blood, veins, and muscles can be seen shifting.
His arms fully reform themselves. He just needs to buy time to remove the poison. "To think you'd improve so much, I am almost proud, reject." says 'Number 6' mockingly.
Though it's not so easy, appearing down low directly to his left is Serenity, who appears out of thin air, a sharp metal fragment in her hand covered in red liquid.
Squatting, she pushes off her feet. She speeds up towards his side, pulling her left arm back and releasing it when in range. She stabs her hand into his side, cutting through his uniform and body like melted butter. Her hand is now inside 'Number 6's waist.
Now inserted, she pushes more red liquid through that hand, causing her hand to gain a stronger red hue because of the amount of poison in her hand.
Pissed off, 'Number 6', supported by his speed-based quirk, slams his right fist down at her head. Coming into contact, she gets bashed into the ground, her hand still inside 'Number 6's body up to the knuckle.
He grasps her hand with his now-bare arm and roughly pulls it out. He pulls back both arms and lunges at her.
His hand is now covered in a thin red staining liquid.
With his quirk activated, the train sound is more intense. At higher speeds than normal, he sends eight high-speed sped-up fists at her body.
One connects onto the left pectoral, another slams onto the bridge of her nose, causing it to bend inwards, and the other six connect with sickening cracks.
"Your poison ain't jack shit reject! I'll survive; I always do!" His grin turns into a furious and frustrated clench.
Dazed, Serenity could barely process the high-speed kick directly onto her broken nose, launching her further down the hall.
Her body tumbles, slamming into the wall at the end of the hallway.
Shakily, she climbs onto her knees and elbows. All she can feel is pain. Multiple bones have either fractured or broken entirely.
Looking upwards towards the still 'Number 6' grasping and looking onto his side, her face stays still as she contemplates what she should do.
Looking to her right, there is a staircase leading further up. Some seconds pass until she decides, dashing towards the staircase, determined to run away.
'Number 6's skin begins to discolor, the red colored liquid dying into his body. Immense sweat appears on his body, desperately trying to rid itself of the liquid. 'Number 6' covers his mouth which is heavily salivating.
It takes 'Number 6' some time before he realizes she's disappeared, causing a frown, until he hears the pitter-patter of her feet running. His smirk comes back into place upon realization.
He dashes towards the end of the hallway. Turning left, he sees her climbing up the stairwell on the second set of steps.
Pushing his quirk more than before, he dashes towards her retreating form, appearing in front of her as she climbs. He readies his fist to strike her left eye. Only for his eyes to widen in shock as she disappeared once again.
Before being able to look around, he feels a puncture in his eye; the crimson liquid fills his eye socket, and the burning effect causes him to scream horrifically.
A now visible Serenity has her right hand in the midst of 'Number 6''s eye socket.
Continuing, she grasps the inside of his eye socket, his eyeball now just mushing, tugging downwards, and to the right, she bashes the side of his head against the metal railing, stunning 'Number 6'.
"F-Fuck!" 'Number 6' screams in pain, and his entire body bubbles from the inside.
Still grasping the inside of his socket, she turns towards the stairway walls and throws him against them.
Running after him, her nose begins to bleed a violet colored liquid. She readies her arm and hand to puncture his other eye, only for his body to continue bubbling at extreme speeds.
Before she can move, a massive explosion erupts from him, slamming her into the railing and breaking it. She falls to the bottom of the stairs with a loud thud. Her body has burns all across it.
Rubble from the explosion falls on top of her, crushing her body. The explosion destroyed the first five levels of the staircase.
From above, 'Number 6' sits against the wall. Though 40% of his body is missing, it's fastly filling the missing areas with new muscle, blood, and tissue.
He laughs as if he's in a comedy show, hearing a good one-liner.
"That was good. You surprised me, first time for everything... aye reject?" There's no response, no noise.
Falling to his front, he pulls himself towards the edge of the stairway, looking down at where she would be.
His destroyed eye now appears to be intact, acting as well as before the fight.
He finds her unconscious, breathing; her burns are gradually disappearing, though immensely slower than his.
His face and voice turns to disappointment. "Same as before. Can't handle that one, huh? That's fine; just gotta report, and we can do this again."
With his legs fully formed, he stands up and begins walking down towards her body. He squats in front of her beaten and bloody face.
"It's not good enough. This should help." He begins to beat her unconscious body. Later, he creates lacerations. "Now that's perfect."
He closes his eyes and furrows his brows in concentration.
After some time, he opens them. His earpiece beeps. Readying himself, he begins to sweat, and his breathing becomes labored.
He holds the microphone button on his now online earpiece, his voice back to how 'Number 6' sounded before the fight: "Number 6 reporting, just knocked out the fourth target. It's a long story. I'll explain it in the report," he pauses as he listens to some chatter.
"Ah, the communications were down then for you, too. It's good; it's finally working. We got multiple injured unconscious heroes, some freaks, and at least one dead hero. I think her name was Reiko Akiyama."
He pauses again as he listens to the response, sighing, "Yeah, I'll bring them up. 'Number 6' out."
He lets go of the button.
Turning to Serenity's unconscious form, he smirks once more, picking her up. He walks towards the other downed and bleeding heroes. His face and body slowly shifts, overtime his normal appearance returns, and his shitty smirk is ever present once again.
His body heals itself quickly. Once a minute passes, it appears as if he had only gotten into a light scuffle.

(1 Month later)
Sitting at a table in a police cafeteria are three police officers, all talking about something in whispers. Looking closely, it's obvious they're sneaking glances at a bandaged-up Monika Kaniyashiki trying to eat her meal in peace.
Monika quietly munches on a piece of fish from her seafood bowl. Their whispers aren't exactly quiet, as she hears almost everything.
"What did they expect? She's not even two years into the force; of course, she'd screw up during the raid." one with short brown hair comments.
Another with short black hair says, "I heard she got her hero killed, the one with the ability to grow the size of items. Poor Reiko, she would have been a great hero too."
Another snickers in response, with red hair going down to his shoulders. "At least they won't involve her again knowing how bad she did, hey maybe they'll kick her off of the Hero Killer case, would love to get a crack at it myself." he continues to chuckle.
Annoyed and upset, Monika grasps her meal and walks out of the cafeteria, causing all three to become silent. Upon her fully leaving, they collectively laugh again and continue their conversation, albeit louder now.
Hours pass until a door connected to the Chief of Police Forces office is knocked upon.
Mr. Kenji Tsuragamae, the chief, looks up from the documents he's currently reading and signing. "Come in," he states quickly and firmly.
Entering the room quietly and closing the door behind her is again Monika Kaniyashiki. In her hands is her police badge. She seems in distress; her hair before something together has been ruined, as if she tore some out.
"Miss Kaniyashiki?" asked the chief, confused.
Standing in front of his desk, she holds out her badge and plops it onto his desk. Stepping back some feet, she holds her head down, many emotions coming across her now-hidden face.
A neutral expression covers Kenji Tsuragame's face. He grasps her badge and lifts it, tightening his fist around it as he looks at Monika.
"Are you sure? You've made many mistakes, some of which got others killed, but you are still a great officer, one that I don't want to lose. I ask you to reconsider." He says it with now-kind eyes.
Monika Kaniyashi starts shifting, unsure of what to say, gulping and looking up. Tears are budding through her eyes.
"I won't quit. That's a coward's way out. I ask, no, plead, that upon me making another mistake like that, you fire me on the spot. No questions, no debate. What I did that day, I will never forget; I caused deaths and abandoned two others to what seemed to be a certain death. One is in permanent care, and the other is on life support."
The scene is replayed back in Monika's head, their bleeding bodies begging for her to run.
Shaking slightly, her eyes became more sure of her decision.
"I will continue with the Hero Killer, but not without the badge. I swear to you, until I succeed in the Hero Killer case and capture him, I will not wear that badge again."
Police Chief Tsuragame nods in approval. "If you truly desire this, I concede that I will hold on to it until you succeed in the Hero Killer case. Good luck, Miss Monika Kaniyashi."
Nodding, while still saddened, Monika Kaniyashi leaves that room, changed, determined.

Nezu sits patiently at the head of a large rectangular wooden table, paired with 14 chairs on its side. In front of him is a pile of documents, all copies of each other. With a remote by his side and a TV behind him, he sighs.
Turning to a metal panel filled with buttons and a speaker, he presses one with the icon of a microphone.
"Attention, all faculty, report to the meeting room for the weekly report. Report to the meeting room for the weekly report. The meeting starts in 5 minutes. Thank you."
Letting go of the button, he straightens himself and triple-checks that he has all that's needed. Upon confirmation, he relaxes slightly, waiting for the faculty of the U.S. to come inside.
It takes only 1 minute for one to walk inside, though early he looks to be in a rush because of his messy black hair and scruffy clothes. With a lazy stare, he takes a seat, approximately four seats from Nezu. Though not saying anything, beneath those eyes, a sense of steel can be felt.
Within the next four minutes, 13 more individuals enter the room, each widely different from the others. Some wear their Hero uniforms, while others wear civilian clothing, though he appears to be still in his cooking apparel. After all 14 sittings, they turn their heads to Nezu, expecting him to start the meeting.
Smiling gently, Nezu greets them all: "Hello, despite your busy schedules, I thank you for coming. We'll start the meeting about issues you all might have." Upon this, two people raise their hands. A man who appears to be a block of walking cement and a yellow-toned beastly man.
Motioning towards the cement man, "Please, mister Ken Ishiyama, what's your problem?"
Ken Ishiyama sits straighter and speaks. His voice is low and grumbly.
"I have worries involving the next and current generation of students." Clearing his throat, he continues, "The first years, to be frank, have been significantly worse than past ones."
The other faculties, especially fellow teachers, give looks of agreement. Turning to Nezu, Ken continues.
"Though a great number have the capabilities to become heroes, it's clear there's an ever-growing number of students who I believe have no place being heroes; they're rude, disrespectful, and are causing an unnecessary ruckus for us all." He pauses, waiting for Nezu's response.
Closing his eyes gently, Nezu thinks of a proper response. Opening them, he asks a question: "Who here agrees with Mister Ken Ishiyama that the students are as he says they are?"
In response, all but three raised their hands immediately. Upon some thinking, the other three also raised their hands. A woman, wearing a skin-tight outfit inappropriate for a school, speaks out.
"While I love naughty students, some of these students I feel require heavy discipline. As I reported to you two days ago, that student we expelled was bullying a fellow student so badly that it caused her to drop out of the hero course. Her injuries that day were… severe to put it lightly. We now have a lawsuit on our hands because of the supposed inaction of the teachers." Nezu nods in response.
The lazy-trashy-looking man slightly nods as well, bringing Nezu's attention to him with a smile.
Nezu smiles and responds, "Yes, the situation is quite complex, sadly, though I do have a response to your initial question, that being Mister Shota Aizawa." Upon this, the now-named Aizawa looks up to Nezu questioningly.
"Mister Aizawa will be the new homeroom teacher for Class 1-A next year. Because of his streak of expelling students, I feel he'll be perfect to weed them out." Aizawa looks annoyed at this but nods defeatedly.
"Because of Aizawa not being able to take control of both classes 2-A and 1-A, we will have an old face become the second year's new homeroom teacher." The faculty looks confused until a collective look of realization appears.
"Yes, Mister Sorahiko Torino, otherwise known as 'Gran Torino', will be the homeroom teacher for Class 2-A. Hopefully, his expertise and ability can help both great and bad students still in the course."
Smiling, he turns to the beastly-looking hero, who still has his hand raised. "Mister Ryo Inui, is your issue similar to Mister Ishiyama?"
The beastly hero, now named Ryo Inui, shakes his head in response; noticeably, the man is upset. He's hard to understand because of the constant growls interrupting his sentences as he speaks.
"I *non-understandable growls* meetings, the poor time *non-understandable growls* recent negative incidents occurring to students inside and outside of our school have *non-understandable growls*. I cannot handle the number of requests there have been, causing *non-understandable growls*, except for basic discussion." He continues to look at Nezu's face, looking uncertain about what he just heard.
Feeling bad for his fellow faculty member, a gray-haired ogre man speaks out: "I believe he said, and I quote, 'I request more funding for the counseling meetings. The poor time and money recently I've been given and because of recent negative incidents occurring to students inside and outside of our school have caused record-high requests for counseling. I cannot handle the amount of requests there have been, causing me to go over my hours, and of the ones I can, not much can be done except for basic discussion.'" In response, Ryo Inui gives the man a smile and nods.
Nezu smiles in appreciation. "Mister Inui, I'm sure we can settle this problem during the next month, as that's when we make budgeting changes. I will make sure we at least increase your budget by a fair amount. If you desire, we can change up your schedule or even hire a second counselor to assist you." Ryo Inui nods again.
Nezu turns to his left, grabbing the large stack of papers. He hands them to a man wearing a chef's outfit, "Mister Ranchi Rasshu, please hand them out to the others." The chef-wearing man nods and starts handing them out to the others.
Each faculty member, over time, gets their small stack, approximately 6 pages long.
"We will discuss the addition of a student who will be admitted to the U.A. at the start of next year. Though she's fourteen, she'll start in class 2-A. This is because of a variety of reasons, some of which I can't tell you." Nezu pauses as he observes the teacher's reaction, most just showing confusion.
Continuing, he pulls out a picture of Serenity and passes it along the table. The picture shows her handcuffed, unconscious, put inside a containment center with armed guards by her sides, weapons aimed at her.
"This is 'Khadija' or 'Serenity'. Her name is debatable, but we're going to be going with Khadija for now. To be crude, she is a human weapon created for the usage of assassination and espionage." The faculty members are confused and shocked.
"Fifteen heroes and the police force conducted a raid one month ago to retrieve her from a genetic underground lab. Though she's currently labeled as too dangerous for release, they are confident they can get her accustomed to human life before the start of the next year." Nezu smiles brightly.
"I hope you all will support her as she learns in this great establishment."
Seconds pass, and all the faculty have a look of bewilderment; most mouths are gaping.
The lazy-looking man named Aizawa finally speaks out before anyone else.
"This is a joke, right?"
The loud commotion afterward pounds Nezu's poor ears. Many are enraged, confused, and worried.
In response, all Nezu does is chuckle and scratch the back of his head.
