"Well Waterman, I'm gonna be king of the pirates!" Luffy exclaimed, Waterman looked both annoyed and confused at his statement. "I said my name is Giyuu Tomioka, Did you not just hear me? Besides, where did you get the nickname 'Waterman'?" Waterman looked pretty annoyed.
"You just look like a Waterman," Luffy said flatly, Waterman just groaned in reply.
"You remind me of Tra-Guy...ShiShiShi!" Luffy laughed, His laughter died down after a while "Do you know where I am though?" Luffy asked a bit more seriously.
"You are in the village of Okutama, Near Mt. Kumotori" Waterman replied almost instantly.
"Is that an Island?"
I don't own One Piece or Demon Slayer, The Owners are Eiichiro Oda and Koyoharu Gotouge.
It was about time Luffy took his daily nap, jumping on the gray hammock outside. He took a bit to find a comfortable position and placed his straw hat on his head.
Almost Immediately Luffy fell asleep while snoring of course.
A few minutes pass, and a small blue light enlarges under Luffy's hammock. It forms into some kind of portal, the hammock starts to shake violently.
Luffy, still sleeping, falls off the thing.
The portal disappears suddenly, leaving a gust of air.

"...What?"
"I said, Is that an Island?" Luffy repeated himself, "Wait, What do you mean Island? This is the mainland". Giyuu started to wonder how far Lowermoon's Portal went, "What's A 'Mainland'?" Luffy questioned Giyuu.
"It's a large-" Giyuu's explanation was interrupted by a loud Grumble. "Man, am I hungry…"Luffy said while rubbing his stomach.
"Do you have meat, Waterman?" Luffy asked, Giyuu sweatdropped.
"I'm kinda hungry too though." Giyuu thought to himself.
"First of all, My name isn't 'Waterman. It's Giyuu" Giyuu was tired of the childish nickname, "Gi-Yuu, that's it".
"Gi…"
"Yu…"
"Gyu!"
Giyuu sighed, "At least it's better than 'Waterman'.". "I'll go get something for you to eat. I guess you just stay here?" Giyuu asked in case Luffy wanted to explore a bit."Cool, I'll come!" Luffy grinned idiotically, Whatever that means.
Giyuu walked out into the cold night, he wore a comfortable uniform and haori. So he had no reason to feel cold, unlike somebody behind him.
"Aren't you cold?" Giyuu asked curiously, "Huh?" Luffy looked like he didn't know what he was talking about.
10 seconds of uncomfortable silence later, Luffy jumped and crossed his arms as if he just realized how cold it was.
"COLD!"
Giyuu was dumbfounded, "What the…" he muttered. "I have an extra haori, you can use it to keep you warm enough," Giyuu told the freezing boy.
Giyuu went back into the back of the house to bring another one of his mismatched haori's, by the time he came back outside Luffy was sitting on the floor dozing off.
"I wasn't even gone for five minutes?" Giyuu said before nudging Luffy enough for him to wake up. "Here you go" Giyuu handed the haori to the boy.
"Thanks a bunch, Gyu!" Luffy said before putting on the Haori, "Come on, I thought you were hungry".

Giyuu and Luffy found a noodle stall quicker than expected, They were lucky enough to get some noodles right before the booth closed.
The owner was a lovely elderly man who had been working there for around 27 years, he blabbed on about his history. Though neither Luffy nor Giyuu minded, "I was planning on tomorrow being the last time this place will be open…" The guy solemnly remarked.
"Your ramen tastes good," Luffy complimented the food while muffled by the large amounts of food stuffed in his mouth. "Please don't talk with food in your mouth…" Giyuu said slightly annoyed.
"Either way no one visits these parts anymore, I can afford to move this heavy cart in these old bones of mine by myself."
"Sure, I'll help you." Luffy randomly announced The elder's eyes widened in surprise. "You don't need to, just being my last customer is good enough." The man reassured him.
"Moving this cart is a hassle I don't want to cause you.."
Giyuu observed the interaction, still slurping some of the noodles given to him.
"Don't worry about it" Luffy said flatly, still having food in his mouth.
"Please don't bother yourself with such a trivial matter…"
"I said I'm gonna help you, so I'm gonna help you," Luffy said nearly shouting.
Before you know it Luffy and the Elder Man started arguing about moving the cart.
Giyuu watches while slurping his food nonchalantly, after five minutes he finishes his food and is tired of the argument.
"Sir, it isn't a hassle. We don't mind and this will benefit you so I don't see the problem."
The man looked like he was about to protest, "That's Final" Giyuu finished off;
The Elderly sighed finally relenting.

Long story short, about ten minutes later Luffy carried the cart easily to the more populated place the old dude talked about, Of course, the guy was surprised about the strength Luffy displayed.
After the whole ordeal, Giyuu and Luffy walked toward the temporary shelter.
"Hey Gyu, Why are you always carrying a sword?" Luffy asked pretty randomly, Giyuu looked at him incredulously.
He sighed again before saying, It's part of my Job…." Giyuu sighed a bit too tired.
"Cool, are you a swordsman?" Luffy asked more questions, they had just entered the small hut.
"Luffy, How about I answer that tomorrow?" Giyuu said while taking off his haori, "Kay…." Luffy said semi-tired.
Luffy practically fell onto the futon, and Giyuu was lying on the mat staring at the ceiling.
Giyuu could already hear the loud snoring coming from the other side of the room, somehow it was comforting and finally helped him drift off.
I feel like that was a weird ending, I also feel like Giyuu was kinda of OOC.
I was kind of in a rush to upload this, Be prepared to see a lot of fluff in this fic. For Giyuu's Nickname, It was the best thing I could think of :p,(Gyu), The reason Giyuu didn't see Luffy's stretching body during eating is because he saw it as a weird family quirk(NOT MHA), and he knew Luffy wasn't any type of demon.
I'm gonna make these chapters a bit longer(like 1,500 words)
Peace out!
