Chapter 4
The next morning, Edward awoke slowly. Rosalie was wrapped between the quilts and her back was to him, her long blonde hair spread across the pillow.
He sat up and stretched like a cat, his neck and back creaking. He sighed and looked at the clock, it was 11:34.
He got out of bed on his way to the blonde's huge bathroom and did some drying off. After a few minutes, he heard music coming from the bedroom and came out. Rosalie was already out of bed and running her fingers absentmindedly through her hair.
"Hello," she greeted him with a smile.
"Hey," he sat down on the bed and put on his dirty, torn converse, which Carlisle always complained about. That bastard.
"You didn't leave stink, did you?" Rosalie commented distractedly as she walked into the bathroom.
"I'm sure it smells better than that fucking scent of fucking lemons─ he growled. Rosalie let out a giggle. Then, Edward sighed.
What was supposed to happen now, was everything still going on? Rosalie was being too nice, but she was like that, she was kind of bipolar and half crazy. Actually, he didn't know why he had done it. It just came easy to him. Most likely he'd done it for the intimacy of the moment and because he was a horny fucking pubescent prick who was having a big blue ball problem because of some daughter of fucking Chiefs of Police.
Rosalie came out of the bathroom, interrupting his thoughts. Edward stood up and grabbed his phone and keys, tossed them in his pocket, and looked at Rosalie now holding her hair.
"Oh, by the way, I used your toothbrush" Edward announced. Rosalie grimaced and put a hand to her mouth, blew, and sniffed.
"Iugh, that's disgusting. Why didn't you tell me?"
Edward guffawed lightly and walked over to her. Rosalie threw her arms up in the air.
"Are you going to tell me that after you spent the night burying your tongue in my mouth you think I'm disgusting? Come on, blondie, you're more than that!"
She smiled again and shrugged her shoulders.
"It's different" she mused. Edward smiled and placed his hands on her slender waist, pulling her closer. Rose placed both hands on Edward's chest.
"How is it different?"
"It's different, Edward" she chopped smilingly. Edward smiled at her before leaning in and resting his lips on her full ones again.
Another mistake.
"It's time for me to go" he waved goodbye and walked away slowly. "At this hour, the breakfast Esme made is cold."
Rose smiled again.
"Okay," she pressed her lips together briefly. "Thank you again, you don't know how much it meant to me."
"Don't worry, Rose. That's what friends are for." Her smile faded a little.
"Yes, friends."
.
.
.
The kissing episode was repeated for three more nights. Edward called her and despite the slight disappointment that had struck Rosalie's chest that first morning he said the cold word "friends," she agreed to let him come. Rose needed a little warmth; a little affection and she was willing to enjoy the one she was given. No one knew anything about her, no one had ever really seen her laugh, and no one except Edward had ever seen her cry. They only knew that she was like a rainy morning in London, beautiful...and cold.
Then Edward told her about Bella.
"She's just beautiful...well, I think so. She's also sexy and she's funny and she's smart and she's smart and she's fucking direct and she's a sucker...but I like her. I've been watching her."
Then Rosalie felt something snap inside her. She disguised it by sipping from her glass of water.
She shrugged her shoulders.
"It's okay. I think Emmett likes me." Then Edward looked at her and stroked her hair.
"Oh, naive Hale. That gossip is old hat now...why do you barely notice?"
Rosalie shook her head and took a bite of her sandwich. Edward smiled and popped a handful of Cheetos into his mouth.
That night, Edward had to go home early because classes were starting the next day. So they kissed. They gave each other a last kiss, Edward took his car keys and left smiling at her. Rose locked herself in her room and fell asleep while listening to The 1975.
.
.
.
When he was leaving the house on his way to school, Esme said "Good luck, son," kissed him on the cheek and hugged him and that exasperated him to no end. It's just that, seriously, why did they play at being the good parents once in a while? Why didn't they see the pain they were causing him? It was horrible to watch them try, it was depressing, and it made him want to put a rope around his neck. And he was damn sure that "good luck, son" meant good luck all year because I'll never say goodbye to you again.
Carlisle and Esme were hypocrites.
He angrily turned off the stereo and before getting out of the car, he took a swig of rum he had put in a plastic bottle.
He looked around seeing nothing specific but deep inside he knew he was looking for Bella. Then, Jessica Stanley planted herself in front of him and put a hand on his chest.
"Hi, Ed!" she greeted him. Edward hated being called Ed He rolled his eyes without concealment; Edward Fucking Cullen was direct.
"Hi," he muttered and dunked the bottle in his backpack.
"Why didn't you want to go to my house the other night?" she asked. How long had it been, three years?
"Jessica it's been over two weeks. Get over it" he commented. Jessica opened and closed her mouth like a fish, "besides I had things to do." He looked over Jessica's head looking for that bitch Bella somewhere, but she wasn't there.
Jessica left as Jasper came to his side and patted her back. Damn, he owed him one.
"Hey, man!" he greeted.
"Hey," he waved back and handed her his open backpack. Jasper looked inside and smiled.
"Daddy Carlisle is going to fuck you up, Cullen," he said after drinking.
"Whatever, I don't care what he says."
"Ehh... Bye, gotta go!" Jasper threw the backpack back at him, hurriedly.
"Why?" Edward muttered in confusion and followed the blond's gaze. Alice was getting out of her car smelling like fucking chocolate.
"Ehh...let's just say Alice is a little upset with me and I want to apologize─ he replied. Edward shook his head as he laughed.
"Since when do you care if Alice is mad at you?"
"Since forever, dude" he replied as he quickly walked away.
"Pansy!" Edward shouted cheerfully and Jasper flashed him the middle finger. Then, Tanya came to his side and hung on his neck.
"Hello, Edward!" she greeted. God, Tanya was eager to lose her virginity to him.
Edward made a mental note to take a chlorine bath.
"Hi," Edward grimaced as she pulled him closer to her. Besides the fact that he hated being called Ed, he also hated it when they hung on him.
Edward tried to wriggle out of the smothering embrace, but Tanya was kind of an idiot and thought he was pulling her in, and she pressed herself closer to him, rubbing her breasts against his arm.
He looked around again looking for Bella when a brown hair caught his attention at the entrance of the building. He pushed Tanya away and started walking fast.
"Ed!" Tanya gasped in surprise and Edward rolled his eyes. He tightened his grip on the backpack and ran towards the entrance, students were crowding the door, but Bella had been crafty and elbowed her way through, all out to get away from Edward Bloody Son of a Bitch Cullen.
Edward entered the building and saw her coming out of reception.
"Hi, Bella" he quickly stood next to her and waved friendly. Bella always smelled like strawberries, and candy-she was always eating candy-she was great.
It was then that Edward noticed her outfit, dangerously attractive and designed to leave him with another blue ball problem.
Bella was wearing a blue blouse, long enough to cover her pert ass sheathed in tight black micro shorts, fishnet stockings, and combat boots.
Edward swallowed and felt like a lead ball was stuck in his throat.
"Hello," she said dryly. Edward grimaced.
"How are you?"
"Fine" she replied, then looked at him. "Where are the fucking toilets?"
"Over there" he gestured with his head forward. He wasn't going to deny that he had been a bit idiotized by Bella's chocolate eyes rimmed in black. He'd never seen her like that, and it was interesting.
Interesting
God. Edward mentally smacked himself for that.
"Thank you" Bella murmured and walked away with a determined stride. Then Edward caught a glimpse of her precariously covered ass.
.
.
.
When Bella arrived at the school the first thing she saw was Edward with a blonde hanging around his neck and that kind of bothered her a little.
She jumped out of the van and entered the building as she made her way through the crowded door surrounded by students, and entered the front desk to grab her schedule and a map of Forks High. On her way out, Edward intercepted her. Ugh, no.
Couldn't he see she was kind of pissed? Or was he just fucking stupid?
Inside the bathroom, she looked in the mirror and straightened her hair even though she didn't need to; then she glanced at her schedule. Her first class was English, so she tried to memorize the map so she wouldn't always have to use it.
She headed over there and when she walked in some kids were already there. Not wanting to socialize or put on a cute face, she sat down at the second to last desk and waited patiently, when suddenly a blond-haired, blue-eyed boy approached.
"Hi, I'm Mike Newton" he greeted and sat down on Bella's desk. He tapped his foot on the linoleum, Bella looked at him and half smiled.
"Hi, I'm Bella Swan."
"Daughter of the Chief" he muttered with a frown. Bella nodded her head silently. "Wow! That's great, isn't it?"
Mike tried to be nice.
"No, not really" Bella replied. Mike chuckled. Bella smiled openly at him. The guy actually was cute. Hell, now she didn't even regret coming to Forks anymore. The fresh air actually did people good.
The general silence of the room was interrupted by laughter and bustle. Then, Edward entered along with a blond boy. Bella shut her eyes tightly out of Mike's sight and cursed between her teeth.
The blond boy next to Edward was handsome and Bella was sure it was the same one driving that white car. Jasper, it had to be. And as usual, Edward had another girl with light brown hair hanging around his neck.
So, Bella rolled her eyes ignoring the uncomfortable feeling that settled in her chest.
Edward looked in her direction and smiled at her. Bella did not smile back. Then Edward looked at Mike and frowned scornfully.
Cullen set his backpack down one seat ahead of Bella's and pushed the brunette off of him.
"Jessica you should sit down already" he muttered, and she obeyed him like a puppy. She sat behind Bella and Jasper sat on her right side. Great, in her peripheral view. She just hoped she didn't flunk English.
Then, Mike slowly walked out and stalked Jessica, she let out a stupid giggle when he greeted her.
"Hi, I'm Jasper" The blond stepped forward and smiled at Bella.
"And I'm Bella."
"I know who you are" Jasper smiled impishly at her. Bella frowned and before she could ask another question, Edward entered the picture.
"Back off, bitch" Edward tugged him by his shirt and pulled him off her side, then he stood there. Bella ignored him turning her face away.
"Hi Bike Girl" he gave her another wink; he was so close Bella felt his breath on her cheek. Bella looked up at him.
"You smell like alcohol," she told him, Edward chuckled.
"You're smart, Bike Girl" he squeezed her cheek and reached down to his backpack, he pulled out a bottle and handed it to her. "Drink this."
"No, how do I know you didn't pour something in there?" She folded her arms. Jasper laughed and slapped Edward on the back. He ignored him.
"You offend me, Bike Girl. I thought we were friends."
Bella thought about it for a second, picked up the bottle and as he looked at her smiling, took a swig.
"You're my friend as long as you let me finish this" Edward laughed, and Bella glued her lips to the bottle again.
"It was good rum, dude" Jasper ruffled her hair with his hand and Edward punched him in the ribs. "Oww!" an exclamation of pain escaped from between his teeth. "I'd better sit over here" he pointed to his seat and plopped down there.
Edward was about to say something else to him, but the teacher came in waving and gave him an ugly look.
"Oh no, Cullen again" she complained and dropped her books on the desk. Jasper laughed and, not caring that the teacher was already there, he kept playing with his phone. "Take a seat!"
"To your seat, Edward" Bella told him mockingly. He showed her his middle finger and then sat down.
"Listen everybody!" the chubby teacher shouted and clapped her hands drawing everyone's attention with her shrill voice, fucking annoying to a human's eardrums. "Jasper put the damn phone away, Jessica stop looking at Mike..." Some laughed, and Edward turned in his seat to say something else to Bella but the woman interrupted him. "Cullen...don't even think about it!"
Jasper laughed loudly, Bella smiled at Edward, and he rolled his eyes.
"Listen everybody!" For God's sake, couldn't he just shut the hell up? "We've got a new acquisition..."
"A new toy?" a dark-haired boy asked in a whisper. The teacher gave him an ugly look and Edward threw his folder on the floor.
"Culleeeen!" the woman crooned in annoyance. Edward placated himself.
"Okay, come here Bella. By the way, I'm Miss Sheriddan...sorry about everything. Come here."
Then, Bella felt herself die. Fuck, no. She had forgotten how to do that whole introduction thing. She felt like she hated it already.
Miss Sheriddan was off looking at her lists and Jessica took the opportunity.
"Where did you come from, Bella?" she asked in her ear and Bella stopped herself from rolling her eyes.
"Arizona" she answered her and rocked forward to get her to stop talking to her. From the moment she walked into the room she kind of started hating her.
"Come on, Bella!" and now she had all the attention again.
Swan stood up and walked, pausing barely a second before stumbling over the foot Edward had intentionally stuck out.
"Careful, Bella. You look like you're drunk" he whispered.
"Culleeeen!" again Miss Sheriddan.
"Well, I'm Bella Swan…" she began. The teacher looked at her smiling as she looked at the bored and sleepy faces of her classmates. Edward raised his hand and gave her a thumbs up. Bella gave him an ugly look.
"Oh, well Bella, and why did you come here?"
"Well...uhm...it's the only school in Forks" Some let out giggles and Edward laughed loudly. Edward was still a pain in the ass. The teacher gave him an ugly look.
"Yes, I know that...but I meant Forks, dear."
"Uhm...well, I didn't want to live in Phoenix, so I came here with my dad, the Chief Swan" she announced to save herself the same old question. She folded her arms and tapped her foot on the floor.
"Thank you very much, Bella" Miss Sheriddan said cheerfully. "Thanks for joining Forks High."
The teacher turned to write something on the blackboard and when Bella reached her place, she threw Edward's folder on the floor.
"Stupid" he mumbled.
"Culleeeen!"
As it turned out, Edward was very smart, and since Bella was in an advanced course in Phoenix, or the classes in Forks were very poor compared to those in a city, Edward was in almost all of her classes; except for calculus, because she really sucked at that thing; and another class, where he had chosen music.
She had to ask Alice about this, she laughed, then told her that she really didn't care much about where Edward was, she laughed again and didn't believe her.
In history, she ran into her, and they were talking trying to ignore Edward, and boy was he making it hard for her, because he was sitting across from her and she could see some moles he had on the back of his neck and Bella loved fucking moles, so she was trying to fully see Alice, next to her, when she was talking to her.
They walked together to the cafeteria and Alice led her to a table where there was a damn cute blonde girl and a handsome, huge guy with curly black hair.
The girl was enraptured in her cell phone and the guy was eating fruit salad. Before Alice and Bella could sit down in the chairs they had already pulled out, Jasper arrived without Edward. Bella tried not to look at the door to look for him.
"Hey, guys, this is Bella" Alice caught Emmett and Rose. "She's Rosalie and he's Emmett."
"Hey, cutie!" Emmett said smiling, she returned the gesture.
"Hi," she greeted him briefly with a hand gesture. Then, he looked back down at his salad.
Then Rosalie looked at her, looked at her deeply, and made her uncomfortable, then the blonde smiled forcibly and took to looking at the table.
Bella bit into a french fry and Alice and Jasper, completely oblivious to what had just happened, started talking quietly. Alice opened her salad. Bella looked down, but her musings were interrupted. Mike Newton approached and there was a dark-haired boy behind him. The same boy from English class.
"Hi, Bella" the blond greeted her. God, he was so handsome.
"Hi, Mike."
The boy had started acting like a puppy and hadn't missed a chance to greet her in the hallways and unfortunately, he was also in almost all of her classes.
"Hi, I'm Tyler" the brunet introduced himself smiling.
"Hi, I'm..."
"I know who you are" he interrupted her with a wink. Bella expected that wink to come from someone else.
"And since you know who she is you're already leaving" Edward arrived, grabbed both boys by the collars of their shirts, and pushed them slightly.
"Ehh...yeah, whatever" muttered Tyler.
"See you later Bella," said Mike.
Edward pulled the chair back and plopped down as stylishly as he could, he draped an arm over the back of Bella's chair as if marking territory. He brought his lips to her ear and murmured:
"Hi, Bike Girl."
Bella pulled away just a little.
"Is that lipstick on your cheek?"
"No" he denied running a hand over his right cheek.
"It's the other cheek" Bella smiled and picked up another chip.
Edward wiped himself and hissed something that she failed to hear. That's when she felt it again: a look. She looked up. Rosalie was piercing her with her violet-blue eyes, and she looked pissed off. Bella said nothing, just averted her gaze.
"Have you met Bella yet?" asked Edward breaking the silence at the table as he took the apple from Jasper and twirled it between his long slender fingers.
"Yes, we know her" spat Rosalie in a scathing voice, pushed back her chair and the squeak against the linoleum pierced their eardrums. She grabbed her purse and quickly left. The bitch didn't even lose her style when she walked angrily.
Bella paced her gaze around the table, deducing if she alone had noticed. Nope. Apparently, everyone had seen the same thing. Edward just shook his head and half-smiled, Jasper scratched his neck uncomfortably, Alice snorted, and Emmett twisted his mouth.
Great.
"Did something happen?" Bella dared to ask.
"Rose is a bitch" Edward mumbled through his teeth.
"Oh."
A heavy silence filled the table. Edward silently handed the apple to Jasper and Jasper took a bite. Edward pulled some crackers from who knew where and opened them. The sound of plastic cut through the silence like a razor.
"Well...what are we supposed to do now, are there any plans for the weekend?" Alice asked animatedly. The girl had balls to talk after such a strange trance.
"I don't know. We should organize something... you know, the next one I won't be able to, it's September 3rd" commented Emmett.
"Oh, then yes" agreed Edward. "Don't you want us to do something quiet that day? We can just watch movies... unless you want to be alone."
"No, it's okay. You can come over in the evening" Emmett shrugged. Bella had a poker face but without another word, she turned to eating.
Emmett let out a chuckle between his teeth.
"Don't worry, Bella. You're invited" Bella looked up and saw that now, everyone was looking at her.
"Oh..." she began but again was interrupted.
"It will be two years since my dad died...if that's what you were going to ask."
"Oh," Bella fell silent.
"Then yes, you're invited," Alice said. Bella shook her head.
"Your friend doesn't like me very much."
"Rosalie is like that, don't worry. She was probably upset about something else. She's the Drama Queen" encouraged Jasper.
But Edward knew she wasn't like that. Edward knew she was jealous because they had both screwed up.
By the time lunch was about to be finished, the boys started playing with each other with the food, and Bella and Alice had to cover themselves with the trays. When the doorbell rang, Emmett filled Edward's cheek with ketchup.
"Oh, you idiot!" Emmett and Jasper ran off, guffawing.
Mike and Tyler approached the table, trying to walk next to Bella. Alice stepped forward.
"What?" Edward asked in annoyance.
"Nothing" Newton answered him and looked at Bella. He opened his mouth to speak but couldn't because what he saw in front of him left him speechless.
Bella took a lone french fry from her tray and swiped it across Edward's cheek, not taking her brown eyes from his green ones. She bit into it and threw the rest on the floor. Edward swallowed dryly.
Then, Bella wiped some more ketchup off his cheek with her middle finger and brought it to her mouth, licked it off and half smiled.
"Delicious─ she murmured and then walked away.
Alice watched her from the dining room door with her mouth open. Edward swallowed thickly again.
Then he, Newton, and Tyler looked at her ass and white legs.
.
.
.
In Calculus, Edward slumped back in his seat and Jasper quickly leaned over and patted him on the back.
"So your girlfriend pissed off Rosalie" he commented.
"Bella is not my girlfriend" Edward replied. "And Rosalie always has that bitchy temper. She gets mad because she wants to."
"She just got jealous, man. Don't be so hard on the girl."
Then Edward looked at him quickly. No one knew about the kissing at night, it was impossible for them to know. Jasper arched an eyebrow and Edward rolled his eyes, avoiding ruining it.
"It's not my fault Rosalie's jealous because now those idiots aren't looking at her. Besides, she's been hard on me all these fucking years. Fuck her."
Jasper laughed throwing his head back.
When the professor entered, Edward looked towards the door expecting Bella to come in. They shared every class. Why the fuck wasn't she there?
"Bella's not coming" Jasper, so observant, assured him.
"I wasn't looking for her... Hey, how do you know she's not coming?" Jasper shook his head with a smirk dancing on his lips.
"I thought you weren't expecting her."
"Answer the question, you idiot."
"She's with Rosalie and Emmett" Edward chuckled.
"Did Rosalie ask Emmett for help to beat her up?"
"No, you idiot" Jasper rolled his eyes and tapped the table with the pen.
"The three of them are in the other calculus class" Alice interjected sticking her head between Jasper and me. Suddenly, her chair was glued to Jasper's.
"Bella's with them? Fuck me, I thought she was smart" Edward scoffed.
"Emmett and Rose only suck at Calculus and History but Bella only sucks at Calculus," Alice explained and they both rolled their eyes. Damn smartass.
"Hey, are you guys done yet?" Mr. Banner asked them.
"No, sorry" Alice answered him and looked at the sheet on her desk.
"What are we supposed to be doing?" Jasper asked.
"Why are you here, Ali?" asked Edward. She rolled her eyes.
"We're supposed to solve this problemarium, and it's in threesomes."
"Ah, then sit in the middle. You do it" Edward told her, then they switched places.
"You didn't say what we're going to do for the weekend," said Alice squeezed.
"I'd say let's all sleep," said Edward.
"You just want to be asleep" Jasper waved his hand in a dismissive gesture.
"Sorry, I just don't want to drink like you, you fucking alcoholic." Jasper and Alice laughed.
"For God's sake, be quiet!" the professor slapped Jasper's desk with a ledger.
"I hate Mr. Vanner," said Jasper. Mr. Vanner gave him an ugly look.
.
.
.
When the bell rang to announce the end of the first day of school, Edward and Alice walked out together and found Bella as she put her things away in the locker.
"Hi, baby" Edward slid in beside her.
"Hi."
"Are you working today?"
"Yeah, I get off at six."
"Oh, well."
"Let's go" Alice interrupted and walked in front of them. Edward wanted to ask something else but couldn't think of anything else. When they walked out to the parking lot, he followed her, and Alice, after kissing her on the cheek, walked to her chocolate-scented car.
"Is this yours?" Edward asked as he looked at the monstrous thing he was about to climb onto.
"Yeah, Charlie gave it to me."
"Nice try."
"Give it up, Edward. It's cool. It's got personality." Oh, God. She hadn't said that.
Then he saw Rosalie heading that way, walking to her car.
"Whatever. I'm going at 6:30," he said loud enough for Rosalie to hear. She looked over there and frowned. Then, a little quieter, Edward asked "Hey, did you know you pissed off Rosalie?"
"What?" Bella asked in confusion. As far as she knew, she hadn't done anything to piss the blonde off.
"I'll tell you in the evening."
"No, Edward, tell me now!" she reneged but he had started to walk away. Bella angrily got into her truck and slammed the door shut.
"I see you have time for the new girl and not me" Jessica spat as he opened the Volvo door. He rolled his eyes.
"Her name is Bella, and yes, I wanted to be with her" Then he got in and left her standing there. He thought about running her over but that wouldn't be a good idea.
.
.
.
Apparently, Emmett got the idea to celebrate going back to fucking high school. So now they were at his house watching Alice kick Jasper's ass on the Wii games.
"I'm letting you win, leprechaun. Rose, pour me another drink!" She ignored him and kept looking at the screen.
"Bitch" Jasper spat as he poured himself more brandy.
"Easy, Rosie," Alice said, "all day you've been angry."
And that was true. Rosalie hadn't spoken to Edward or looked at him. Edward was so irritated, and kind of half regretted everything that had happened between them. He didn't regret everything.
"Rosalie is mad because Bella stole her attention," Emmett said.
"Of course not, Em" she replied.
"Then why did you leave like that all of a sudden at lunch?" Alice asked. Damn smartass.
"I didn't leave" Edward ran a hand through his hair and dropped his head on the back of the couch. She was a dramatic piece of shit.
"Sure" Jasper agreed sarcastically.
"I just don't like Bella."
"Because she steals your attention" Emmett continued as he switched games on the console.
"Seriously Rosalie, why do you hate Bella?" asked Jasper. "The poor girl barely looked at you. It's not like she took your boyfriend away from you."
Uuh, that had been awkward.
"She's unbearable...and attention-grabbing" everyone laughed, except for Edward who preferred to take a swig of his beer.
"It's late already...Alice, can you take me somewhere?" Edward asked when the laughter died down.
"I'm busy."
"Can someone give me a ride? Rose let's go" Edward ventured and stood up.
"No! Why me?" wow, at least she knew how to pretend a little.
"You're the one who's not doing anything."
She gave him an ugly look.
.
.
.
"Where the fuck are we going?" asked Rosalie after an awkward silence. Edward stirred in his seat.
"We're going to Bella Good Ass Swan's house."
Rosalie said nothing and slowly pulled over to the side of the road. Edward looked at her. Oh, not a drama, please.
"What?" he asked like an idiot, feigning innocence and pretending he didn't know he had unintentionally hurt her.
"I won't take you there" she muttered and turned off the engine.
"Yes, you will. Speed up and head for Woodvalley Street." She didn't move and looked at him.
"You're an idiot."
"Why?"
"Because..." Rose started but fell silent and glared at the road angrily. She clenched her fists on her thighs.
Edward sighed and tousled his hair.
"Rose, come on, you know there wasn't and isn't anything here...It just came easy to me. I really think it was a mistake."
Hale said nothing for a couple of seconds, then started the car.
"Yeah, it was a mistake" she muttered and accelerated.
So… yeah, maybe Edward should think before doing anything. What are your opinions on the chapter? I read you :)
