13. Princess and Hero
During their first day at the third stage, Kunigami, Chigiri and Reo's team trained and looked for strong rivals, but couldn't find anyone. Besides, they only wanted to face Isagi's team.
After training, Reo was in the bathroom, furiously washing his hair while Chigiri looked at him with a disapproving glance. Kunigami was exercising until late, as always.
"Be careful, Reo. If you are too rough, you could go bald later"
"That's none of your business"
Chigiri sat by his side. With his hair wrapped in a towel, he looked like an older sister ready to give advice or a scolding. Reo ignored him.
"Come on, we're a team. Why won't you open up a bit?"
"Because all I care about is crushing Nagi and Isagi. I'm not here to make friends!"
The red haired striker sighed in frustration and stood up, ready to leave.
"Please, at least stop being so childish"
Reo was about to say something, but then shook his head.
"Sorry. I haven't been thinking straight after Nagi left me"
Chigiri sat again.
"You know, I didn't came here to make friends either, but we need to understand each other to fight optimally"
"Aha, I know. We need to grasp our playing styles and…"
"Yeah, but I mean more than that —Feelings and emotions are a huge source of strength. So, if you could tell me more about Nagi…"
"Huh? Do you like gossiping?"
Reo never had the urge to talk about feelings with anyone. His parents only thought about him as the heir of Mikage Industries, his school 'friends' saw him as a walking wallet and Nagi just wanted to play with his consoles. Why would he care about his own feelings? Why would anybody care?
That's why words flowed out of Reo's mouth without restraint. Chigiri listened to him with full attention, and more words came out.
Oh god, this guy's completely in love with Nagi, but he doesn't know it and I think it could be bad if I tell him, Chigiri thought while nodding.
"Hmm, so you resent Isagi because you feel he snatched your friend from you"
"B-But it's not like I'm jealous or something!"
"Nagi is an important friend for you. Don't worry, anyone would feel like you do"
Reo calmed down and smiled a bit.
"Wow, I didn't know talking about this could feel so liberating. You're really like a good onee-san, Chigiri"
"Hey, watch your mouth"
"You're right, you're more than an onee-san, you're our princess!"
After that, they started a water war that ended when Kunigami entered the bathroom and scolded them for staying too long.
At night, Kunigami sacrificed himself and took the bottom bunk bed.
"Why?" Reo and Chigiri asked at the same time.
"Because nobody ever wants it and it's faster to settle things this way"
Reo looked confused and Chigiri laughed.
That's so like him! And I'm sure that's why I like him so much...
"Well, then I'll take the upper bunk bed", Chigiri said.
"Eh? Don't you want the single bed?", Reo asked.
"Nah, I won't let comfort win over me". Besides, he could look at Rensuke asleep.
"Somehow, I feel like I lost against you two. But thank you for letting me have a comfy sleep"
They stayed up until 10 PM. Reo was the first one who was out like a light.
"Wow, he was really tired", Rensuke said with a smile.
"Well, he still has to process what happened with Nagi…"
Chigiri turned off the lights and climbed to his bed. The room was so quiet that they could hear Reo's calm breathing.
"Hey, Chigiri… What do you think Isagi is doing right now?"
The red haired stifled a snort with a false cough.
"Sleeping, maybe? Why?"
"Because it's been a while, but I can't seem to shake him off of my head yet"
Before Chigiri could think, he was already giving advice like a good friend:
"That's natural. You broke up just hours ago. It's too soon to recover…" No! I don't want to be just a good friend! "But…"
"But…?"
"There's a saying that one nail drives out another"
Pause.
"That's unfair… Who would want to be a nail?"
Chigiri changed position to watch Kunigami from the top, so the bunk bed moved and cracked a bit.
"I'd be yours, gladly"
Bathroom was the safest place for both of them; it was clean, quiet and empty. Chigiri's eyes were focused on his hero friend, while the latter seemed nervous.
"I came with you because I didn't want to wake up Reo with our talk, b-but I have to say I'm unsure about what you said"
"Why?"
"Well, I like you, but I'm still not over Isa —him! What if you end up hurt because of me?"
"That would be my problem, not yours"
Kunigami massaged his temples.
"Even so… Why would you go so far for me?"
Chigiri was still looking at him. His almond shaped eyes were beautiful and so different to Isagi's cobalt blue eyes…
"You truly think and care about others, even to the point of sacrificing yourself to take the bottom bunk bed, haha" Hyouma's smile was pure. "I've never met someone like you before. And, during this time, I've felt quite attracted to you"
They were still wearing their pajamas, but the red haired guy felt as if he laid bare in front of his crush. Kunigami seemed to notice it, because he closed his eyes for a moment before replying.
"Chigiri, if you say it like that, I can't refuse. It's the last time I'll tell you this: I'm still longing for Isagi and I don't know what I'll do if I see him again. Are you sure you want to be with me?"
The speedster striker smiled, daringly. He walked towards Kunigami and hugged him, inhaling his body's fragrance and caressing his wide back.
"Yes, I am"
He purposefully made it sound like a wedding vow. Kunigami's face was bright red, but hugged Chigiri back. Then, he cupped the red haired striker's face with his hands and kissed him in the lips.
After a couple of minutes, they were naked and kissing each other in the bathtub.
"Wait, the water will get dirty…" The orange haired guy said with a worried voice.
Chigiri stopped and then smiled.
"Wanna see if someone complains tomorrow?"
Kunigami looked at him, surprised at first. Then, he laughed and brought his partner closer to his chest. With his hands, he toured over Chigiri's back, obliques and glutes. Every muscle was well toned, especially his glutes and quads. He got down to kiss him, even underwater.
"Wait, Kunigami, what are you doing?"
"Did you think I'd jump into you like an animal? Come on, I have to know you first" he replied after getting out of the water.
His lips kissed almost every inch of Chigiri's body, who was surprised. When he finished, he stood in front of his red haired partner again and rearranged a strand of his hair.
"I never thought you'd be so—"
"Romantic?" Rensuke's eyes were almost tender.
"Eccentric"
Kunigami smiled and then one of his fingers caressed his partner's entrance. The sudden touch made him jump a bit.
"Does it hurt?" Rensuke asked right in Chigiri's ear.
"N-No, but it feels strange…"
It was the first time he was feeling so much pleasure just from one finger, and the first time that he cared about the warmth of someone else's breath on his ear.
Then, Kunigami's finger went into his body. It was skillfully inspecting and stroking his insides without hesitation, looking for the pleasure spot. After some time, he found it. And Chigiri knew another level of arousal.
Isagi, you lucky bastard, he thought before cumming.
