Chapter 8 Concerns
Tony's point of view
Things got no better for Ginny.
Her cousins got care packages all the time, but she didn't get anything.
When the list of people who would be staying at school for Christmas went up on the wall, Ginny signed up to stay immediately.
I decided to call my mother and ask her advice.
"Mom… there's a girl at school. Her name is Ginny and I think she's being mistreated at home. Her cousins get care packages from home all the time, and she doesn't, and they are incredibly mean to her. She's staying at school for Christmas, one of the teachers always stays but that's not fair"
"You could always invite her to stay with us for Christmas Tony"
"That's a fantastic idea mom, thank you"
Little did I realise that someone in school had recorded my conversation with my mother and had begun spreading it round school.
"Ginny, hey listen I know you signed up to stay at school over Christmas but… I was thinking… and I got permission… would you like to come to Christmas dinner at my house?"
"Thank you Tony that's really sweet of you"
