(AN: Have you guys been playing Hogwarts Legacy? I've been loving it. It's been helping me come up with even more ideas for my writing! So if you see any familiar mentions, you know where I got the idea from! ;) I cover their wedding and honeymoon all in this one chapter. There is sex in this chapter so just be aware! Lake Marunweem was nestled between the mountains and the coast near West Manor Cape. It was the most perfectly lovely place. It was truly the perfect mix of coastal byways and rural highlands. There were small scenic paths crisscrossing through the towns leading from the mountains to the coast.

It was the perfect place to escape.

The sun steadily rose in the sky over the distant mountains that 9th day of July.

It filled the little cabin Remus and Tonks were staying in.

The place was lovely. Tonks thought she had done a fair job finding them such nice accommodations on such short notice.

They had a large soft bed with white sheets, they even had a small counter to eat at together.

Remus' favorite part though, was the little deck they had surrounded by trees, overlooking the stream. It had a round table with two chairs, and a small little pool built in. It was a muggle resort so it felt extra safe.

It was the nicest place he'd ever been in his living memory,

It was the perfect place to read, and write and watch Tonks float in the small pool on the deck. That's what Remus found himself doing on their first morning of their stay at the lake.

'I'm getting married today.' He began writing.

Tonks was floating around next to him in the small pool they had on their balcony overlooking the slow moving stream.

'I never could have imagined this day, and now Its happening. In some ways it still doesn't seem real.

Tonks will look perfect of course, and the weather couldn't be more perfect either.

It'll just be us, and a minister.

I can't wait. For the first in a long time I'm looking forward to something.'

Remus finished writing and put his quill down and stretched out his arms, looking over at his wife who was floating in the small pool.

"You're beautiful."

"Do you want to come in?" She asked.

"I don't have a swim suit. And I don't really swim."

"I see. Can I ask you something then?" She questioned.

"Of course." He blinked.

"What did Harry want at the funeral yesterday? Ive wondered."

Remus nodded.

"I don't know all the details right now. But, it sounds like he thinks he needs to go off and I guess work towards what he and Dumbledore had been working on together. To kill Voldemort once and for all.." he told her.

"W-why he thinks he has to do it all on his own, I don't know. It's frustrating honestly." He added.

"That's a lot to deal with. He's just a kid." She said, looking at him.

He nodded. "I know. He needs to be the Orders main priority when we go back. He needs to know we support him." Remus said.

"Yeah. I agree. Mad Eye will too." Tonks said.

Remus nodded again. Feeling light a weight had been lifted off of him suddenly.

After a brief pause Tonks chuckled a little.

"So, you don't swim at all? Really? The water in here is shallow anyway." She questioned him

"I mean if no one else could see me I might go in. But, I still don't have a bathing suit." He explained.

"Just to clarify. I know how to swim." He chuckled.

"Okay.." Tonks smiled.

"We could go back in and start our honeymoon early?" She mused.

Remus smiled a little bit.

"I think we already did that last night, twice." He smirked.

"We could continue then? Until, we have to get ready."

He smiled and nodded. Then, helped her out of the pool, drying her off delicately with a towel as he did.

Later on that afternoon, Remus sat in his least shabbiest suit and tie while he waited for Tonks to be ready to leave. They were getting married in 30 minutes.

Remus' palms sweat a little in anticipation.

He felt like it took forever, but when she finally came out of the bathroom he could see why. She looked lovely and so breathtaking.

"Wow. You look really beautiful." He said smiling.

Tonks had a beautiful and simple dress on. The dress came down to about her ankles and then fanned out behind her slightly. It was mostly satin but had some lace bits woven into the bottom half.

It was a v neck and had small tiny straps.

It showed off her arms and chest and was very classic and simple.

He could see the white sneakers she had on peaking out under the hem.

She also had a small brooch in her hair on one side pulling her hair back. Her hair was a gorgeous shade of lilac.

"I have something for you." she said, holding something in her hand.

"What do you have there?" He asked

"well I needed to make sure it fit you before we left."

"Close your eyes." she told him

he gave her a curious look, but did what she said and closed his eyes.

He felt her approach, and felt her touching his hand, and then he felt her do something curious.

he felt something cool slip onto the fourth finger on his left hand.

instinctually and accidentally he opened his eyes. He looked down and was surprised to see a ring on his finger.

It was a gold one and match the one she had perfectly.

He looked at her in surprise.

"Looks like it's a perfect fit" she said.

"W-When -how -how did you do this?" he asked.

" oh, I can't reveal that. Top secret mystery that is." She joked.

He kissed her.

"I got it when I went to London to pick up my dress." She explained.

" well, I'm very surprised. I just hope it wasn't too much." He said hesitantly.

"It wasn't, don't worry about that." She said, kissing him again.

After a few seconds, they pulled away.

"Do you have the camera?" Remus asked.

Tonks nodded. "It's in my bag."

Ted and Andromeda had gifted them a lovely magical polaroid camera for their wedding. They had unboxed it together the night before, just after they had arrived. It was fairly cool. Tonks, especially was excited to try it out. It had all sorts of fancy magical abilities.

"Perfect. Then, I think we are ready to go?" He questioned.

"Never more ready." She smiled, leading him out the door.

"Sorry it took so long for us to get here." He told her as they walked out of the door to their cabin.

"You don't need to apologize. It was worth the wait. You were worth the wait." She said happily.

Together, they walked to the cliffs that were nearby along the coast, and a silly little foreign wizard in an oversized top hat pronounced them husband and wife just after noon, that 9th day of July.

Colorful cords wrapped themselves around their conjoined hands, and after that the little minister shot sparks up in the air, declaring that the two of them were bonded for life.

After, Tonks and Remus walked along the cliffs, watching the water roll off the rocks below it was serene and peaceful. They laughed and talked for seem like hours, and when they were done, they slowly meandered back to their cabin by the stream.

It was many hours later when Remus sat down to finish writing in his journal. He'd been trying to be more dedicated to the practice.

It was dark out now, and the world outside was muted. It was easiest to write at times of quiet like these.

'I got married today. It was the most perfectly beautiful, and exquisitely divine day that I have ever lived. We said simple vows, in simple clothes, in a simply perfect place.'

Tonks and Remus only had a few days away together before they would have to return home. There was much to be done with the order.

But in the meantime they had to make the best of their time in the highlands.

Together, the pair explored the nearby coastal areas and some of the local lochs.

It was a beautiful place where they could explore, and to her delight, Tonks could make fun of all of the little garden gnomes. There were also adorable little highland cows and goats that often would roam freely through the narrow coastal roads. Remus loved to watch Tonks marvel at the nature and the wildlife. It made him exceptionally happy.

On a walk on a nearby path along a cliff, Tonks stumbled a little and Remus grabbed her arm hard.

When she turned to look at him, his eyes were fixed on something just out of her sight behind her.

she froze when she realized this. Not wanting to turn around.

He pointed just over the ledge of the path.

Tonks looked over and gasped a little.

Remus put his forefinger up to his lips, trying to keep her quiet.

Tonks looked down over the cliff edge again, wider eyed still.

She could see it's creepy, lanky, grotesque body hunched over standing about ten feet below them on another cliff edge.

It was an Inferius.

As far as Tonks could tell there was only one of them.

But she didn't want to risk it. Sometimes where there was one, there was more.

Her and Remus walked slowly away from the Inferius.

Tonks crossed her fingers inside her pocket.

Once they were a good 50 feet away, Remus spoke.

"We need to be more careful." He said looking back from where they'd just came to make sure they were safe.

Tonks nodded, agreeing.

Perhaps even here they were unsafe.

"But, why is it so close to muggles? There's almost no wizards in this area." She questioned.

"That Inferius looked like they had some scraps of muggle clothes still on. If anything I'd bet they were originally a muggle." Remus guessed, sadly.

"That's not good." Tonks said.

"No it's not. I'll let Kingsley know. Fred and George told me they'd heard a rumor that there were inferi in the highlands. I just didn't think it was actually true." Remus exhaled.

Together, the pair walked and talked quietly as they made their way back to their cabin.

"I'm sorry we had to cut our walk short. I know sitting inside isn't as fun." Remus lamented.

"Mmmmh." Tonks murmured, before proposing a better alternative.

"Well, I know something we can do inside, that's always fun." Tonks told him, kissing him.

He chuckled.

"Hm. Tell me about that." He whispered to her, pulling her close.

She could feel herself getting wetter, as he whispered to her.

She raised an eyebrow. Intrigued by his boldness.

She pressed herself up against him more.

She leaned over and whispered to him, what she wanted.

He looked at her for a few seconds before responding.

"I could do that." He said

"Mm, could you?" She asked.

He smirked and nodded.

"I think it's possible i could give you what you want." He explained.

30 minutes later, Remus had Tonks in their bed, on her back. Remus had removed her pants quickly when they had arrived back to the cabin.

Moving her panties aside for quick access he had immediately begun rhythmically and methodically licking her sensitive areas between her legs.

He licked her softly and slowly, in the exact way he knew she enjoyed.

"Oh, right there, Remus. That feels so good." She encouraged him, loudly. He continued his exact motions, causing Tonks to cry out loudly as her pleasure continued to build quickly.

His finger tips gripped her hips hard.

"Shh." He shushed her, lifting his head up from between her trembling legs. Chuckling a little.

"I haven't put up a silencing charm. Everyone is going to hear you." He warned her, stroking her skin with his thumbs softly.

She sighed loudly. "Maybe we should do that then. We're just getting started." She said slightly out of breath, smiling at him.

He smiled back before obliging her quickly, before returning to his previous task.

She gasped a little in surprise when she felt his tongue slip back between the folds between her legs. she felt as his wet rough tongue trace delicately across her clitoris and labia.

She wasn't sure how much more she could take.

She moaned even louder as he continued.

"Oh, Remus, come here. I want you." She told him.

He happily obliged. He took her roughly and flipped her over, positioning her on his lap, fulfilling her prior request.

His front was pressed up against her back as she settled down onto him.

He let her get use to him, letting her slip up and down on him a few times before pumping into her more purposefully.

The pace quickly picked up. And Tonks screamed out loudly as he roughly shagged her.

It turned out, that there was plenty for them to do inside. The pair spent the rest of the day completely enthralled with one another.

It was the morning on their last day in Lake Marunweem, and West Manor Cape.

The sun streamed in the cottage windows.

Tonks was naked and had a sheet draped over her loosely.

"Can I ask you something" she said

"Of course." he said, stroking one of her arms.

"Fleur asked me something the other day and I worry. Perhaps I told her the wrong thing."

"What did she ask?" Remus asked her, slightly worried. His brow furrowed slightly.

"Well, when we were has a three broomsticks together, she asked me if Bill were to become a werewolf if they could still have children together. And I told her that werewolves could procreate if they chose to." She explained hesitantly.

"If that was what they wanted. Do you think it was OK to say?" She asked concerned

Remus shifted slightly under the covers. He wasn't really sure how to answer his wife.

He stroked her side sweetly.

"Well technically, you didn't tell her anything that was inaccurate most werewolves can procreate if they choose to." Remus agreed.

"if they both wanted children before it's probably safe to say that still stands. But, It was nice that you consoled her. I am sure Bill will be just fine."

She nodded.

"But, you won't have children?" She asked quickly, throwing himself slightly off guard.

"No, I' wouldn't . But that's my personal choice, not something I have to choose." He explained to her.

"Why do you ask?" He questioned.

"I just wasn't sure what your reasoning was, that's all." She explained to him.

"I just worry about the potential risks, it's good that we take steps to prevent it" he explained, brow furrowed.

"It's important we avoid that, actually ." He added, trying to make himself completely clear. he didn't want to give her false hope.

"So if someone could assure you there would be no risk, you'd feel differently about it?" She asked.

He looked unsure at this. "Hmm. I'm not sure, that's not something I've considered much either."

"I'm not even sure assurances could be promised. But, perhaps I would feel differently about it then, not really sure that would be possible though." He told her.

Tonks nodded.

"You know,I- I am sorry i can't give you those things. I'm sure you've considered wanting children at some point." He said, feeling fairly guilty.

She snuggled against him.

"I suppose I've considered it in an abstract way. I'd have your baby though. If you were inclined, that is. But, I know you're not and that's okay too." she told him.

Remus smiled a little, resting his cheek on the top of her head.

"There was actually a time that I wished very much for a child. When I was younger and a lot of people my age were starting families, sometimes it was hard to watch. I wished to be able to have a normal life like they did."

This thought made Tonks very sad.

"I'm sorry. If you ever change your mind, you know where to find me." She joked, giving him a kiss.

He smiled a little at her, chuckling good heartedly.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too."
