Review Shoutouts

The embodiment of Weirdness – Hmm… I think he's still got some progress to go and ground to gain given how in S some of the later opponents are very string in their own right, he's not there… yet.

The Storyteller993 – One, even if he's seen it in the real world a million times, to have it done to you I think we can agree is a different sensation.

Two, as for the fight I think Ageha and Margit's fights are very different for the fact that with Nagamasa vs. Margit in a way he was fighting with Miyako and Kazuko plus that fight to me wasn;t really much a fight-fight more like a hefty spar.

But Ageha I think when it comes to fighting especially is different from Margit in terms of spirit and how she carries herself. But that's part of my reasoning at least.

As to your Third and Fourth points, Nagamasa and Yamato will settle their feelings soon enough and I think you guys can figure out when it will be.

On that last one… That's a big ol' maybe since that would have to be ALL ORIGINAL since there's not a route to go off of besides the whole "Acquainted w/Ageha" route in Majikoi S.

Guest – Yeah when she was still a teenager she had feelings for a guy (Can't remember his name), but he was in his own series, but she was one of the love interests in the game. (Not canonically of course mind you.)

Majikoi – Love Me Seriously! – Momoyo Route

The Goddess of War – Part 4

This Is How I Feel…

May 21st, 2009 , Thursday

Once again were all on the walking together to school when Momoyo lets out a pretty audible yawn.

"Aaaah… I'm so… tired…" Momoyo groans out tiredly.

"Are you not getting enough sleep? You look especially sleepy this morning." Yukie says with a bit of worry.

"My girl Mayucchi always gets a good night sleep." Matsukaze said.

Momoyo regained her smile as she replied, "A certain lil' protégé of mine wouldn't let me sleep last night."

Miyako replied before I could, "Heheh, I know you're joking. You can't scare me that easily… She's joking right, Nagamasa? ~"

She says the last part in my ear as I push her away, "You are scared and for the record I was fast asleep before her."

"It is his fault but not directly, I've been reading some manga that Nagamasa recently borrowed from the base, and I've been staying up all night reading every volume he let me borrow in return." Momoyo clarified.

And so for a little while the entire conversation went on about everyone's favorite piece of Japanese media until Chris and her big mouth asked Miyako about her "detailed" relationship charts.

"Drop it Chris. You don't want to go down that rabbit hole." Gakuto tries to warn her.

"This is a relationship chart for the novel I'm currently reading." Miyako presented Chris with a very detailed relationship chart.

"Oh, this is very detailed. I can tell everyone's relationships at a glance." Chris marveled at the attention to detail until one in particular stood out.

"Though the relationship between the company boss and the woman under him I do not understand… She is in charge of 'Vitamin D management'?" And thus the flood gates have been cut and Fan Castle floods…

Moro spits out the coffee he'd been drinking through his nose in utter shock.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey…" Gakuto panics as well at Chris' naivete.

"Huh? Hey, Onee-sama, Naga. I wanna know…" We both stand in front of her and smile innocently as Momoyo pats her head.

"You don't need to know anything about it." Momoyo said.

"Huh?" Wanko still looked inquisitive. But one even dumber then her took the cake.

"Allow me to answer your question." Miyako said trying to be innocent.

"How about 'No!?'" I yelled at her.

"Huh? But I want to know too! Don't keep me hangin' here!" Capt entered the conversation just as innocently as Chris did.

Miyako ever the troublemaker, "Capt, you should have either Yamato or Nagamasa show you. Or better yet Yamato, Nagamasa… show him!"

"HELL NO!" The both of us screamed in unison but that didn't seem to get through Kazama's thick skull.

"Great! So, Yamato, Nagamasa show me how to manage Vitamin D!" He was all ready and willing.

Miyako gulped waiting for her most dreamed about fantasy second only to her wish of wanting to be one with either Yamato or Nagamasa.

"You're so cute Miyako. You didn't even hesitate." Momoyo comments normally.

"I'm shocked and nearly appalled you could call any of what was just said "cute." I said with a bad taste in my mouth.

And so after a few more moments of random conversations, greetings from our teachers, that bookstore guy… still don't know his name, by then we'd finally made it to school.

Eventually the day passes over and just as everyone begins to file out or stay behind for extra-curricular activities I find myself wandering the halls until the one and only Yamato Naoe calls out to me, "Hey, Nagamasa!"

"Hm? Yamato, what is it?" I ask him, his face seems neutral.

"I just wanted to ask you something was all." His face seemed inquisitive.

"Like what?" I ask again.

"Which girl do you like?" Yamato inquires.

"Hah, I had a feeling it would be something like that, look just come with me where there's no eyes or ears that need to hear this." I tell her as the both of us head for the roof together.

He then explains to me that he heard a rumor that I was dating the girl from before Kumi, and that we've been going steady ever since the Watanabe incident in the courtyard. I immediately shot down that rumor point blank.

"No dude, that's just a misunderstanding I was helping her avoid a stalker she had we didn't have anything else afterwards." I tell him honestly.

"I mean, besides that time at the hot springs we've never really talked about girls before. IS there… someone you like?" He asks me the million dollar question.

It seems so innocent, but if I answered honestly…

"No, the best thing to do in this situation is answer honestly and hope he accepts my answer." I thought to myself as I take a deep breath.

"Yeah… there is someone, it's someone we both know." I tell him, his face widens a bit, but he clams down as if he expected it.

"Who is it?" He asks for clarity.

"Even though I've never really asked her about it… it's Momo-senpai." I answer.

"I-I see, I mean you two have been getting along recently." He replies but I can tell he's clearly surprised a bit.

"Well I answered, what about you?" I return the favor trying to continue the conversation from what we were just talking about.

"Huh? W-Well like you they go to Kawakami Academy and they're in our class, I can say that much." Yamato nervously replies.

"Hehe, look at you sounding a schoolboy with a crush. It's practically adorable." I chuckle a bit.

"S-shut up. Well that's all I wanted to know was all. See ya." With that we parted ways, but I feel something lingering in the air, but to say it was peace I think was presumptuous.

Eventually heading downstairs to the entrance I saw Momoyo with her groupies all fawning over her.

"Ahh, Momo-senpai, let's go home together!" One fan asks.

Let's, like, grab, like, a bite, like, somewhere!" Another fan asks, but gods that voice is annoying.

"Mmn, but I've already got plans." Momoyo tells them but then she spots me walking by, "Yo, you're finally here my protégé."

The groupies then turn their glares to me as they shown their disdain, "Azai Nagamasa…" One of them glares at me.

"I'm going home with my protégé today. But I'll see you all next time." She promises them.

One sniffles, "Please hang out with us tomorrow…"

Her fans accepted her decision as they left.

"You've really trained them well. They're like an army instead of fans." I reply.

"So where are we going? Name a place." Momoyo said expectantly.

"You know my classmate Ogasawara Chika? Her parents has a new oshiruko sweet. And their shop is on Nakamise Way." I tell her.

"Ooh, nice. Then let's get going." She throws her arm around my neck as we head out.

"And it's right along the way home too." I say.

"Hmm, do you want me to call Kri and the others to join us there? Yeah, I'll call them…" But Momoyo seems to reconsider, "Actually, nah… we can ask them to join later."

"Are you sure?" I ask her.

"Yeah. Besides, I like talking with you." She says but hearing those words come from her of all people, I feel happy hearing her say that. Even though something seemed on her mind, she still had that same affectionate smile and tone to her.

As we were headed for the shops we made it to the Tama Bridge that's when I finally popped the question, "Momo-senpai, are you alright? Something bothering you?"

"Hm? Well… a little, I guess." She confesses how one of her groupies seriously proclaimed her love to her.

"Well? What did you tell her?" I already knew, but I wanted to hear it from her.

"I told her… 'Yeah, I'm straight. I just like fooling around.'" Momoyo replied. Geez, hearing that straight from the source I can see why that girl nearly lost her marbles.

"That's… honest to say the least. Harsh, but honest I suppose." I reply.

"Then today, I heard she was having mental health issues, and had taken a leave of absence from school." Momoyo told me.

"Oh… So you're worried for her?" I asked her.

"Nah, not really. I mean, I hope she gets better, but…" She seems hesitant.

"You think she's just suffering from a broken heart?" I simply reply.

"When you get knocked down, you just gotta get back up again. Anyone who can't, they aren't my problem." Momoyo replies, "Though if she's making an effort, I wouldn't say no to lending a helping hand."

"…" I'm silent for a second, which Momoyo seems to catch onto.

"Hmm, what's wrong? Did you want to say something?" She inquires.

"I just think it shows how much she really loved you is all." I reply.

"Love, huh? I've really understood love…" I've heard that one before from a certain pup.

We eventually made it to the path under the bridge, "Girls are so cute, but they're so much work sometimes."

"Well that's because we're all social people Momo-senpai. Everyone needs attention in some way. Sure sometimes issues we face problems that are of our own making or just happen upon us like an accident, but sometimes there are people who need a helping hand to get them back up. No one's a self-made person, not even you." I tell her.

"Hmm…" She seems to muse at my explanation.

"I mean without your Grandfather, Lu-sensei, and all the monks at the temple; you wouldn't be at the level you are right now. Not even me with my parents teaching me the sword, and now you guys teaching me." I reply.

"Haha, that's what I like about you Nagamasa; that's why you pop into my head. You seem so… what's the word?" She thinks for a bit.

"Independent?" I reply with a smirk.

"More like… you know what you want. I can relax and be myself with you. Maybe I should start dragging you all over the place." She tells me.

"Momo-senpai…" I muse for a second.

"No, I don't want that." I reply with a straight face.

"Hmph, look at you trying to be cool. But you can't refuse." She then trapped me in a hug. "Besides you're my precious protégé."

Her enormous breasts are pushed into my face; I suppose I'm not on her level to resist her. So for now… I'll just leave her be.

Eventually we make it to Nakamise Way.

"But yeah, girls are such work." Momoyo still mused.

"There you go again." I say.

"But how should I treat them going forward?" She asks.

"What had a change of heart already?" I say with a smirk.

"Unlike you, I can't just solve my issue by attacking." Actually I think that's what you do exactly.

"Then by that logic, you don't have to 'attack' me either." I reply.

"Maybe I won't have as many groupies…" Momoyo thought.

"Wow, there's a thought…"

Then a group of girls passed us by one of them caught sight of Momoyo, "Wow, she's so beautiful!"

Another girl with her noticed me as well, "Stop it she'll hear us. But her friend to is really handsome as well…"

"Heh… Then why don't you come over and have a closer look at us?" Momoyo said trying to act cool.

"And that lasted all but a second…" I shook my head realizing changing her way of thinking would slim to nil… but so long as there's a chance…

I really couldn't stop thinking about her; I know in my heart she's more then just the razor sharp knife she is in a fight. She is an emotional girl deep down, but I'm not Yamato; I'll have to do it in my own way.

From the beginning I wasn't sure why she was treating me like she was, all those times she's whispered in my ear… it always got my heart racing…

And so eventually, the month of May came and went… and June arrived in it's place.

Friendship with Momoyo – [71% out of 100]

June 7th, 2009, Sunday

Today was June 7th, it's been nearly a month since Yukie, Chris and I have joined the family. Things have been getting lively the last few weeks.

But ever since I've gotten here in this world there's been so many things happening it feels like chaos, but there's always a shred of light among the dark madness.

That one bit of light is the fact that I have someone I like… Kawakami Momoyo.

The Goddess of War herself. The both of us have been much closer than I ever thought we would be; we've been hanging out talking, training, eating together…

Even other people have taken note of our close bond, I don't really mind it. Whether it's people who're just jealous or people who think we're just in the same group… I don't care.

She's the one I'm most interested in. I know I don't have the bond that she's had with the others for years and years. But I can't stop this feeling now, and I won't let anyone stop me.

Seeing her swagger, her power, her carelessness, how she let her fists do the talking. Her love of girls, battle, pleasure… She was the embodiment of a free spirit itself.

I know deep down she can be a bit destructive… but if I just blame her for all her faults then I'd be a hypocrite after what I said before.

For now though, we're still friends and I have no idea how the future now will go, but I'll take it on no matter what comes my way.

But first… I have to figure myself out.

And so was the official start of my first summer in Kawakami City

June 8th, 2009, Monday

Today we all met up outside the Shimazu Dorm, with the beginning of summer everyone was wearing their summer uniforms with the girl's most noticeable trait being their shorter skirt and short sleeved shirt.

"Today we start wearing summer uniforms. What do you think, Yamato, Nagamasa?" Miyako asks us.

"You look good Miyako. But I don't like you like that." I reply.

"You look good regardless of what you're wearing." Yamato replied.

"In short?" Miyako thought we had more to say.

"I think that was short enough." I say.

"Mmm… I can feel breeze around my boobs." Miyako said trying to be sexy.

"You can keep that information to yourself, thank you." Yamato said slightly annoyed.

Then the other girls arrived outside such as Chris and Mayucchi. Then the girl of the hour, Momoyo herself.

"Ooh, I like how much skin I'm seeing." Yeah, that's not weird at all, "How do I look? Do I look sinfully sexy?"

"Hm, yeah I'd say so. You do look sexy." I confess.

"If you make me happy, I'll bury you in my boobs while I pat your head." She offered.

Gakuto took the bait, "Seriously?! Then I'll but you a drink!"

"Sorry, that deal's only for my bro and protégé." Momoyo said.

"Then our friendship is over; Yamato, Nagamasa." Gakuto said spitefully.

"I had no idea out friendship was so fragile." Yamato said.

"With a muscle-head idiot like you you'd fall for anything." I say.

"Using your body to lure them in? For shame." Miyako chided Momoyo but I flicked her forehead.

"You do not have a right to say that." I chastise her.

Eventually we make it to school, the boys were still admiring the girls and their summer uniforms, but our class had a peculiar plus one in it…

"Form is nothing more than emptiness, emptiness is nothing more than Form." One Inoue Jun says like a mantra as he admires our Class Rep.

Gakuto immediately takes not of his presence, "You're in 2-S. What're you doing here?"

And so after hearing his monologue about how he defends his lolicon tendencies, not like I was listening much.

"Hmm?" I immediately sensed presences surrounding the school. Sensing the same presence, as I suspected many of the best fighters were on the roof of Kawakami Academy.

"I see, so that's where everyone else was." I said.

"Oh, protégé. You sensed them too. They feel familiar don't they?" Momoyo tells me.

"Yeah, like in the mountains back at Hakone. If that's the case…" I muse.

"They're military. I'd recognize that kind of aura anywhere… brings back memories." Azumi notes.

"B-but why's there an army surrounding us?" Mayucchi inquires.

"It might have to do with the new transfer student arriving in 2-S today." Lu-sensei points.

"Oh, then that means…" Momoyo points out.

"Yeah… she's back senpai." I point out what she's thinking. "Margit-san."

"Hehe, to think that Miss Solider would come and transfer here… things are getting interesting." Momoyo seemed ready for a fight.

"Okay… I'll go take care of them." She began to run off to face the German special forces.

"Wait, senpai." I tell her as I reach for her arm.

"He's right, Momoyo. Be calm." Lu-sensei echoed my warning.

"Tch… alright…" She wasn't happy about it.

"But still… that old man. He goes overboard way to much…" I groaned.

Then suddenly the foreboding auras seem to withdraw from the perimeter of the school, "Oh… the troops are withdrawing." Azumi pointed out.

After a quick rant from her, everyone seemed to calm down except for a rather disappointed Momoyo who wanted to have some fun.

But after that tidbit, lunchtime finally came and I was back in the classroom with everyone. Today's lunch was Katsudon rice bowl.

"I saw the transfer student! She was looking hot in that military uniform!" Yonpachi came charging into the classroom from the hallway.

"Mm… what's everyone talking about?" Yonpachi noticed everyone was in a big group and talking together.

"I think guys should, like, be living on their own." Chika said.

"Why is that?" Mayo asked.

Chika went on to add that she thinks men should be independent and be able to support themselves. While she admitted that she doesn't mind someone caring for their parents she wouldn't want someone who's dependent or a "momma's boy" as she says.

"Chikarin, you sound like a real estate agent." Kazuko said.

"Don't you agree, Wanko?" Chika asks her.

"I don't know. I don't judge people after all." Kazuko replied.

"W-Well I mean, I guess so, but…" Chika still seemed stuck in her own belief.

Eventually she admitted it's more about their mentality and not just money.

"I think at the end of the day it depends on our own situation that's going on. If someone can live on their own, then it's their prerogative, but anything else might be a waste of resources. Besides judging someone based on something like that is wrong I feel." I replied.

"Yeah, I think the same." Yamato agreed with me.

"Well I mean Yamato, you live in a dorm and Nagamasa, you live at the temple. That's fine. I just think it builds character; that it's a good experience to live away from your parents." Chika added on.

And just then, "Mwahaha! A commoner would think thusly, Ogasawara!" The man himself Kuki Hideo was here again.

"Whoa, Kuki-kun! What are you doing here!?" Chika was shocked by his sudden appearance, but at this point it was getting old.

"We are a hero! We appear where We will!" He proclaimed. "Your theory is broadly correct given a commoner's perspective! Goodness, we adore you commoners!"

"Huh? I thought you disagreed?" Chika seemed confused,

"Yet we are different. Even if we lived alone; we would hire people to do our housework." Hideo claimed.

"Tell us commoner. Would you consider that right or wrong?" He asked.

"Well, I guess it' better then not doing it." Chika reluctantly agreed it seemed.

"Mwahaha! Yes, you do not deny it! Then perhaps your intelligence grows! We are of the chosen few. Spending time on housework would be foolish, when there is so much that needs Out attention." Hideo replied.

"Hmph… the 'Chosen One' can't do his own laundry? That seems a bit..." Yet Hideo was not having any of it, during all of this me and Kazama spirited Kazuko away.

We made it to the entrance where there was peace and quiet, "Geez, can't that take a hint for once and shut up!?" I groaned.

"You got that right, that was a close one. Kuki could've cornered you back there, Wanko." Kazama said.

"Y-Yeah…" Kazuko seemed a bit nervous still despite getting away from him.

"We saw how you looked as he entered the room but… did we jump the gun? I tried to do what's right." Kazama wondered.

"Mm-mm… thanks Capt, Nagamasa." Kazuko thanked us both.

"Right? You can always count on us! When a friend's in trouble, nothing can stop us!" Kazama declared.

"Mmm…" Kazuko seemed to be contemplating something.

"You alright Wanko?" I ask her.

"I mean I am hungry, but it's about Kuki-kun." She told us.

"He keeps saying that he loves me, and… I think and I think, but I don't know what to say back." She mused again.

Kazama in his own mocking tone said, "Then tell him you're not interest or that you hate him, and cut him off."

"But I don't hate him, not one bit. But if I don't say that, will he ever stop asking?" Kazuko wonders.

"Well you don't hate him, but I'm gonna take a guess and say you don't like him like that, right?" I ask her.

"Yeah, I don't like him like that. I never have, but it's all just so…" She seemed stuck.

"Well just give him a straight answer. Sure it may sound harsh in the beginning tell him that you don't like him the same way, but I think he'd appreciate it finally answering his emotions." I think back to Kazuko's story where after she finally confesses, even though he is clearly upset Hideo accepts her decision.

It was one of the redeeming qualities he had I saw in him, he was a man of his word despite his annoying nature and haughty pride that made me want to gag.

"But at the end of the day, when you reply is when you want to do that. You've got all the time in the world. Now then, you said you were hungry, I packed away some salmon onigiri, want one?" I offered her a rice ball.

"Yay! You make the best onigiri, Nagamasa!" She took the rice ball and munched away on it happily.

"But still… I don't get this whole 'love' thing. Playing with friends is way more fun." Kazama said.

"Capt… there's no hope for you… I swear…" I say with a face palm.

"You're preaching to the choir there Capt. And I didn't get the chance to challenge Maltese. Aww…" Kazuko seemed upset now.

"Wanko… her name is Margit. Remember it next time." I remind her.

With that episode out of the way, school continued on.

Eventually we were invited to the Shimazu Dorm to enjoy a hot pot with the news of Margit joining the dorm; only from time to time. But first we had to finish our training like always…

Eventually however, we arrived late, and as we headed outside we saw Yamato and Margit in the courtyard out back.

"Haha, looks like Miyako was right. You are here." Momoyo said.

To the others it looked like we'd appeared from the darkness.

"You two… Aaah, you!" Margit pointed her tonfa at me.

"Yes, yes… I remember Margit Eberbach." I acknowledged her.

"So you're Margit? Welcome to Kawakami Academy." Momoyo greeted the German soldier.

"The pleasure is all mine, senpai." Margit returned the greeting.

"Heh. Me, Senpai? When you're obviously older? That's new." Momoyo replied. "Looks your troops aren't around this time."

"I determined they could rest." Margit said. "I did not need company to check on Frau Chris."

"I see. Then just you it is." Momoyo smiled happily, and it was a smile I was familiar with.

"Fight me, Margit. Here and now." Momoyo challenged the solider.

"Oi, oi… what's gotten into you?" I asked her.

"Yeah, nee-san. What came over you?" Yamato asked as well.

"Margit ambushed Wanko, Miyako and Nagamasa." Momoyo was completely serious. "I'm just evening the score. Right?"

It was then that Chris and some of the others, "Maru-san, what's going on?"

"Oh, Momoyo's here too." Kazama said coming outside.

Tadakatsu came out as well, "Hm. Things aren't lookin' too peaceful here."

"Wawawa. I can't believe how bloodthirsty you are." Mayucchi could feel Momoyo's battle aura wafting through the air.

"You smell kind of like me." Momoyo pointed out. "Fighting you must be fun."

"Heh… I can say the same of you, Momoyo. You will listen close. I have wanted to fight you as well." Margit admitted.

"Then what's the holdup? Now's the time, and here's the place." Momoyo was more then ready to throw down.

"However, the military has given me a specific order. That you, Kawakami Momoyo, are too dangerous to battle. Thus, you must accept that I cannot fight you." Margit told her.

"Heh. Really…" Momoyo was clearly annoyed.

"Besides.. there is something else I must address. You Azai Nagamasa…" The Hound then turned towards me; I could feel her battle aura focus on me now.

"W-what?" I was surprised in the moment.

"You will face me. Here and now." Margit's confession shocked everyone.

"Eh? You want to fight him?" Momoyo said.

"Maru-san… what's gotten into you?" Chris wondered.

"Is it because of the fight in the mountains?" I ask her.

"Yes… you see I do not like the sting of defeat. I must address it or I will never know balance. So then… face me again yourself just as we did before." She challenges me.

I… did not expect this. I simply expected Margit to challenge Momoyo due to her nature, but this is obviously different.

"So? What is your answer?" She asks again.

I then look at the Hound seriously and she smiles seeing me respond in kind, "Alright then, if that's what you want. But not here, we'll do it at the Temple. I wouldn't want to do anymore damage to Reiko-san's house."

"Very well then, I will accept those terms. Hehe… I've been waiting for this day to come." So she's been wanting to challenge me? That makes it interesting.

"I already called the old man, he's fine with it." Momoyo tells us.

Geez, I swear that old man loves fighting just as much as his granddaughter he just doesn't want to admit it.

But eventually everyone wanted to join us as we all headed for Kawakami Temple for the duel. Setting up, both Lu-sensei and Tesshin were on the sidelines. Everyone was watching from the outside as well.

"In the west corner, Azai Nagamasa!" Tesshin announced.

"Ready!" I call out.

"In the east corner, the challenger Eberbach Margit!" Tesshin announced.

"Fertig!" Margit said in German.

"Maru-san… I did not expect her to challenge Nagamasa-san so suddenly like this." Chris said.

"But like she said Kri, this is something she has to do, and… something tells me that this is important to Nagamasa too." Momoyo said.

"What do you mean, Onee-sama?" Kazuko who had joined the group after her night jog asked her sister.

"Well… I think he'll discover something about himself in this fight. Just watch everyone." With that everyone turned their eyes to the field.

My blade drawn and her tonfa up, the both of us waited on Tesshin.

"Let this be a fair fight… and… BEGIN!" Tesshin shouted.

"Haaah!"/"Haaah!" Both Margit and I charged at each other and in one blow we passed by each other by as our weapons clanged as if we both acknowledged each other.

"Hehe… Azai Nagamasa, I can see your blade is sharp, but sadly… you'll not get past my guard!" Margit declared.

"Then I guess we'll see the Hound hunted today when it's guard is finally broken! Haah!" I charged at her again as she did the same.

[Play Ikusa by Wagakki Band]

"Haaah!" She bellows out as we both clash once more.

*CLANG!*

Our weapons ring out as we both seem to match each other blow for blow just as we did before in our previous fight.

"Gaaah!" This time I charged her and to her surprise I didn't stop as I kept putting the pressure on her pushing her back little by little dragging her across the ground as she used her tonfas to guard.

Eventually she was able to push me back, but then I couldn't let up as I unleashed my own barrage of attacks.

"Hah! Hyah!" Each of our blows were heavy, but even so I could feel her tonfa were just as heavy as they were probably just as light in her hands. I knew how deadly she could be.

"Right there!" She saw an opening in my attack and with one blow she puhed me back just as much as I had pushed her before.

"Here I come!" This time it was her turn to attack, as she unleashed a heavy series of blows at me which I dodged, until I jumped high into the air.

"Azai-Style: Vortex Edge!" Just like in our last fight I came down on her tonfa, pushing her down but this time she roared back at me.

"Saiyah!" Pushing me back, this time I was forced to guard against her strikes, each one just as ferocious as the other. I did my best, but eventually she used one of her Tonfa to break my guard and then struck me in the stomach, then punched me in the chin sending me flying backwards.

"Gah!" I screamed as I landed hard some ways away.

"Nagamasa!" I could hear some of the others yell in concern.

"Get up or is that all a student of Kawakami Temple has!?" Margit called to me.

"Not a chance! Daaaah!" I got up refusing to stay down as I charged the Hound once more, this time the both of us traded blows once more, heavy strikes from each of our weapons came but still just as before neither of us seemed to find the winning strike.

But as the fight went on… I could feel something…

"What is this feeling…?" I thought…

"Haah!" We traded once more…

"I feel so alive… my heart is pounding…"

"Saiyah!" Again…

"I can feel my body getting excited… my blood is boiling!"

"Haaah!" Again and again…

"And even now I can feel Margit-san's resolve as well… in each and every strike… So this is it… This is what Ageha-san meant!"

"Boy, can you feel it!? I can sense how different you are now! Do not hold back! I will not either!" And with that Margit rips off her eyepatch, and once more I can feel her battle spirit rise.

"Yes… I thought it felt like a curse… but I feel more alive than I ever have!" I reply in spirit.

For the others, it was a bewildering sight. But for one girl she smiled as she murmured to herself, "You did it… Nagamasa… keep going… don't stop…"

"Let's go Nagamasa!" Kazama cheered.

"N-Nagamasa-san, you can do it!" Mayucchi cheered as well.

"Maru-san, keep going!" Chris decided to put herself in Margit's corner, but no one blamed her.

"Amazing… it's like he's a different person." Yamato marveled at his friend's change; he truly felt like he was an entirely different person now.

As the battle continued on our blows still matched, neither one of us refused to give an inch, but eventually we could feel this battle would draw on forever if it could…

"Your abilities have improved greatly… but this is over!" Margit with her natural speed got through my guard once more, and this time unleashed a barrage of attacks on me one after another until eventually launching me up in the air.

"Gaaaah!" Landing on the ground with a heavy thud everyone watched in silence as I seemed to be done.

"No… you're not done are you Nagamasa?" Momoyo said.

Eventually coming to and despite my own head would bleeding, I still stood defiantly, "Hehe, I'm still here Hound, let's finish this… shall we?!" I could feel my face tighten as my resolve hardened.

I could see her own face twist into joy as she saw my defiance, a prey that resisted was her favorite target.

We both took our stance… and then just as we had started… we charged each other.

"HAAAH!" In one move we struck the other, and as we passed each other we both stood knowing that only one could remain standing.

Everyone watched as they wondered who would fall first…

Then a clang could be heard… as Margit's tonfa were sliced in half and she fell to one knee, "Impossible… I… lost again…?" And with that she fell to the ground for good this time.

With that the battle was over, "Winner! Azai Nagamasa!"

"Maru-san!" Chris ran to her surrogate sister's side as Margit found what little strength remained to get herself up.

"I apologize milady… but it seems I wasn't able to complete my mission…" Margit says with a weak voice.

"No, you fought brilliantly, Maru-san. You fought boldly, and valiantly, to the bitter end. As to did Nagamasa-san."

"Yes… he is truly a worthy warrior now… Please do not ever forget this moment, milady" Margit replied.

"Never. I am proud to think of you as my sister, Margit Eberbach." Chris declared.

"Thank you…" And so again she fell unconscious.

"Guh…" I fell to my knees as well with Kazuko and Mayucchi coming to my aid. "Thank you, everyone. Margit Eberbach... thank you… for showing me what it truly means to be a warrior. Let's fight again… when we're both better."

Even though I didn't see it from my position, Margit had fallen with a smile on her lips. After the fight we were both taken to the healers of the Temple. And while my injuries we something, apparently I was told Margit would take at least 2 months to recover.

Did I really do that much damage to her in that moment?

In the aftermath everyone was in an uproar, all of them cheered the both of us for going all out.

Chris approached me, "Nagamasa-san, Maru-san wanted me to give you a message. She told me: 'The world is more vast then I imagined. I had been a lion hiding in a den. I vow to train and fight you again! I will choose to be thankful that you are a barrier I must overcome."

Oh great… now I'm her target instead of Momoyo, "Thanks Chris, I hope she gets better soon. Knowing her personality though it'll only take half the time to recover from her injuries."

"Hahaha… looks like the future's looking bright. Right, Nagamasa?" Momoyo appeared.

"Yeah, I think I found out more about myself the anything else… I finally understand what it feels like, not just be a warrior. I thought for a while that being a warrior I would just lose myself, but instead I made it my ally, my own instinct, my pride drove me to victory. I still have a ways to go, but I won't stop here. There's still my own barrier I have to face as well, right Senpai?" I said with resolve as I looked at Momoyo.

She seemed to realize what I meant without needing further words, "Yeah… I'm waiting… always…" She patted my head affectionately, and I could see it in her eyes, not just a fire but something else…

AN#1 – Well here's the fourth part of the Momoyo route – "The Goddess of War" to my Majikoi story, I'm NOT a Samurai, Seriously. Initially, the story finishes off the month of May as Nagamasa finally acknowledges his feelings for Momoyo and even tries to explain his own way of emotional thinking.

But then just as the next month rolls around he finds himself in another duel with the Hound of Germany herself, Margit Eberbach who seeks revenge but during said duel Nagamasa once again shows his resolve and for the first time feels the thrill of battle and his body changing not for the worst…

But for the best…
