The next morning Naruto quickly left to do some errands in his world. "I'll be right back later tonight I'm just going to check up on some stuff," Naruto said. "I'll be back I promise."

"Alright see you later then," he said. Naruto smiled at him as he did his jutsu and returned home.

Come back soon. He had to admit Naruto was fun to be with and made for good company. The sound of the door downstairs opening caught his attention. Someone must be home. He quickly ran downstairs and was greeted by the sight of his mom.

"Mom you're home!" He said as he watched her set her things on the counter.

His mom smiled at him, "Hello dear I just got back from a friend's house." She avoided his gaze as she held a duffel bag in her hand.

"Do you need help with that?" He asked off

"No it's alright," His mother said quickly gripping the bag tightly.

"Oh ok," He said noticing his mom wore a rather fancy necklace. "That necklace is it new?"

His mom froze, her gaze avoiding his. "Uh yes dear a friend gave it to me," she said quickly as she walked past him.

"Uh ok," he said noticing the smell of a strange cologne mixed with her perfume.

He quickly ate breakfast; his mom didn't join him instead staying in her room. "I wonder what is going on with her," he muttered as he cleaned his dishes. His mother had been going out more frequently lately often leaving a few days at a time and coming home with strange gifts that must have not been cheap to buy.

His mother came down wearing a nice dress, "Uh Netto dear I'm going out with a friend for a few days we'll take a trip to some local places together," she said as she put on a pair of nice earrings.

"Uh fine where are you going?" He asked.

His mother smile, "Oh just a trip with some friends, your father has his own things to work on today." She sighed and shook her head. "I know we were supposed to do things together but you know how he is with work?"

"I see," he said. A part of him was disappointed but he learned to deal with it. "Well I'll have a friend over is that ok?" He asked.

"Of course," His mother said. "I'm going to the store quickly be safe alright? Your father is still visiting that local laboratory so he'll be gone for a while"

"Uh sure," he said. This was supposed to be a vacation but that's not surprising. His parents usually left him alone to do his own thing which he didn't mind because he liked the freedom but still he wished they could be with him more.

"Be safe dear," His mother said with a smile as she grabbed her purse and quickly left the house.

"Got it." He waved goodbye and went to make sure everything was ok around their mini lodge. "I wonder what dad is doing? This was supposed to be a vacation."

Rockman frowned. "Yeah well he is always busy."

He sighed and nodded. "What I've been told my entire life." As much as he loved his father he wished he were around some more, for goodness sake they were here on vacation they should be doing family stuff.

It was then he heard a puff of smoke and feet landing in the guest room. "Naruto must be here." He eagerly went and knocked on the door.

"Come in!" Naruto said from the other side.

He walked in on his friend who had already changed. He was still wearing his long black pants but replaced his long sleeve shirt with a modern shirt that allowed him to hide his weapons. "You're not going to wear your forehead protector?"

Naruto shook his head. "I thought about it but it would make me stand out too much. I'll leave it here with my things."

"True. You won't get into any trouble being here right?" He asked. As much as he liked being with Naruto he didn't want him to get in trouble with his own people.

Naruto shook his head. "Nah. I'm not on any missions or anything."

Suddenly his PET rang. "Netto-kun there is a situation at the bank," Rockman said. "A fire caused by an unknown navi in the network."

He swore. "Great. You want to come too Naruto?"

Naruto grinned and drew a kunai knife. "Of course!"

The two ran through the city towards the bank. Naruto ran beside him carefully eyeing their surroundings as they ran through the streets. They eventually made it to the bank, there was a crowd of firefighters putting out a fire.

"Come on lets go," he said as he took out his net saver's license and showed it to a policeman. They were allowed near the bank and watched as the firefighters put out the flames.

The smoke and fire made his hair stand up but he managed to find a port that they could use"Alright lets plug our navis in," he said as he covered his mouth from the smoke.

Naruto nodded, "Lets do this."

"Plug in Rockman."

"Plug in Kyuu."

Their navis quickly appeared in the bank's main terminal which was covered with cyber flames and littered with viruses.. "Netto kun there are a lot of viruses here," Rockman said.

"Both of you head to the main frame and find what is causing this attack," he said as he looked at the burning building.

"Do you think there is anyone inside?" Naruto asked.

"It looks like they got everyone out already," He said pointing to a few people huddled by the paramedics. "Let's defeat the enemy on the internet first."

"Got it," Naruto said as they watched their navis defeat the hordes of viruses. Kyuu easily defeated the viruses crushing them with his tails and claws while Rockman fired his blaster at them.

Their navis eventually reached the main frame. There standing in the middle of the area was the same tall navi in silver platted armor with a menacing visor.

"Looks like we have an enemy havi," he muttered as the knight navi turned to face Rockman and Kyuu.

"Ah the net police I see? I am Paladin unfortunately for you both this will be your graveyard," Paladin said as he summoned a large spear in his hand.

"Guys be careful," he said. "Vulcan battle chip in."

Rockman fired the Vulcan blaster at Paladin who effortlessly blocked it with his spear. "Don't tell me that is the best you got?" Paladin mocked as he charged at Rockman with his spear.

"Long sword battle chip in," he said as Rockman blocked the Navi's spear.

Kyuu went to support Rockman and threw some shuriken at Paladin who easily blocked them. "Foolish navi," Kyuu growled as h his hand grew red. "Take this, fox claw!"

A red aura enveloped Kyuu's hand as he charged at Paladin. The knight navi turned around and tried to block the attack but Kyuu slashed right through the navi's spear and struck the navi his tail leaving a red cut.

Paladin screamed as he was thrown back against the wall before logging out.

"Wow Kyuu you really are strong," Naruto said in surprise.

Kyuu smiled at them and bowed. "My pleasure as always."

"Rockman check for any data he may have left behind," he said. "We'll go check things here."

His navis nodded. With that he spoke with the police a bit before heading off to a local ramen shop to eat with Naruto. As soon as their large bowls of ramen came they began to talk.

"So do you think it is one of those evil organizations you said you fought?" Naruto asked.

He shrugged. "Could be. Petty crime is common in this area and has been increasing for a while." Setting down his chopsticks he looked out the window in the dark streets. "It wouldn't surprise me if it were so local Yakuza."

Naruto slurped on some ramen and nodded. "Yeah that could be an answer. Though either way I find the idea of fighting crime in this world cool."

"Well I'm glad you like it," he said. "I wouldn't want to spoil your journey here."

"Don't worry I'll help you out," Naruto declared. "We'll defeat these guys and save this little town."

He nodded a burning sense of camaraderie building up inside of him. "Lets do this!"
