Authors Note:

Thank you, everyone, for continuing to read my story! First of all, I'm going to answer a question I saw!

Q: Why didn't Morgans activate die from Anti-Divination Magic?

A: The answer is very simple! He wasn't using divination magic that met the criteria for activating that magic. He was using his devil fruit powers to possess the eyesight of the News Coo. Since One Piece doesn't follow the same rules as YGGDRASIL, there are bound to be changes. Hope that answers your question!

As always, I do not own Overlord or One Piece. Thank you very much, and I hope you enjoy it!

Seated upon the majestic [Throne of Kings], a World Item held by the esteemed guild Ainz Ooal Gown, Momonga gazed down at the assembled guardians, their unwavering loyalty a testament to the bond they shared. Albedo, as ever, stood faithfully at his side, both of them kneeling in reverence.

"Momonga-sama," Albedo intoned with a deep sense of respect, "The guardians have gathered and await your guidance, as always. Your infinite wisdom shall light our path."

Momonga couldn't help but feel a hint of discomfort at Albedo's effusive praise, but he swiftly suppressed any such emotions with his Emotional Suppression skill. Turning his attention to the expectant guardians, he could sense their anticipation and curiosity.

However, the words that left his lips would take them by surprise. "Our location and my identity are compromised."

A palpable wave of shock and anger rippled through the throne room at this revelation. The guardians were baffled by the circumstances that had allowed this breach, and their anger was directed toward the entity responsible. Yet, with a mere gesture from Momonga, the room reverted to its prior state, as if the emotions of shock and anger had never existed.

"Earlier today," Momonga continued, his tone measured and calm, "I encountered a native bird of this world, and that bird is the source of the leak. Fortunately, the only information that seems to have been leaked is my name and our location. However, this leak is due to a mistake on my part, and I do not blame any one of you. Please, do not blame yourselves."

Among the guardians, Aura, the one who had captured the bird, was overwhelmed by guilt. Her mind raced with self-recriminations, questioning how she had not realized the consequences of her actions.

"Aura," Momonga's soft voice interrupted her spiraling thoughts, and she looked up, tears welling in her eyes. "Do not blame yourself. It was a mistake on my part. Should you blame yourself, I have no other option than to blame myself as well."

Aura's voice quivered as she responded, "Of course, it's not your mistake, Momonga-sama! But if only I-"

Momonga's gentle interruption halted her self-blame. "Do not worry, Aura. Everyone makes mistakes. Please, forgive yourself. I beg of you."

Aura stammered in response, "Momonga-sama! Please! You do not need to lower yourself to beg to someone like me!"

"In that case, let us move on. However, I want you to know that you are not lowly. You are my lovely friends' creations. Don't put your life's value lightly," Momonga declared, shifting the focus away from Aura's turmoil. "Now, returning to our main topic, we must remain vigilant. I now know the situation we are in, so let me explain. However, before that..."

With a pointed finger, he reduced his designated member flag to ashes, a symbol of the transformation that was about to take place. The guardians, especially Albedo, were taken aback by this unprecedented action.

"I am now no longer Momonga. From now on, I am Ainz Ooal Gown. You, my closest friends' creations, may call me Ainz. I am the embodiment of our guild. My word is the guild's word. I believe this is a necessary step in our plans for this world. Does anyone object?"

Albedo, unwavering in her loyalty, responded immediately, "None of us have objections, Ainz-sama. Your will is our will!"

Ainz nodded in satisfaction, relieved that his guardians had accepted the change. If, by some chance, his friends came here too, he would find them. He cleared his throat and shifted the discussion to the critical matter at hand. "Now, onto our situation. As many of you have noticed, we are currently no longer in Helheim. In fact, we are no longer in YGGDRASIL. While I am still unsure of the method used to bring us here, I have gained an understanding and knowledge of the world we are now in. We are now in a new world, full of water, pirates, marines, and treasure."

He glanced at the newspaper they had been provided, knowing they had familiarized themselves with its contents. "I hope all of you have read the newspaper given to you?"

In unison, the guardians affirmed, "Yes, Ainz-sama!"

"Then, I believe you have a general idea of current events. The bird that delivered the newspaper is a News Coo, owned by the World Economy News Paper, the main source of news for the public. In the future, should that bird come, let them deliver their newspapers. However, if you find one lingering around our island as if it's surveying us, you have permission to immediately eliminate it. The president of the organization, Morgans, is capable of hearing and looking through such birds. Do not underestimate his knowledge and power in this world. Understood?"

The guardians responded in unison, "Understood, Ainz-sama!"

"Very well," Ainz continued, "Now, you may have seen that the newspaper has made big news about a war happening against Whitebeard at a place called Marineford. You may be confused, so let me explain to you the factions in this world, some major players, and the legendary tale of Gol D. Roger and the One Piece."

Ainz found himself fatigued after several days of imparting knowledge about the world to his loyal guardians. He reclined on his bed, his skeletal form sinking into the soft fabric. Exhaustion weighed heavily on his thoughts.

'I'm so tired. I wish someone else knew this information.'

For several days, he had meticulously detailed the background of the world: its major factions, influential figures, the mystery of the Ancient Weapons, and the legendary tale of Gol D. Roger and the One Piece. He had divulged most of what he knew to the guardians, aware that time was a precious commodity, especially considering the impending events of the Two-Year Time Skip Arc. However, he didn't reveal all of the information he knew, for fear of the butterfly effect. He didn't want to share some information that didn't happen yet, in case it might change.

'If I remember correctly, this is the Time Skip Arc. Luffy should be starting his training with Rayleigh soon. But who knows what the next two years hold?' Resting on his back and staring at the ceiling, Ainz's thoughts raced. 'Maybe I can create my own pirate crew," he mused silently. "After all, when in Rome, do as the Romans do.'

Excitement mingled with apprehension as he contemplated the prospect of creating his own pirate crew in this world, determined to adapt to its customs. However, the challenge of selecting suitable companions weighed on him.

'Who would I take with me?" Ainz pondered, weighing the choices. "I want a few people to come with me to appear like a legitimate crew. I can't take all the guardians, since Nazarick needs to be protected. And I know for a fact that at least one person knows of our island's location.'

While frustration gnawed at him, Ainz knew he needed to gather information. "I should try to plant spies in the Marines, World Government, and even some pirate crews," he thought. The prospect of infiltrating these organizations loomed large, but he couldn't decide who to send.

Ainz shook his skull in frustration. 'Ahhhh. It's too difficult to decide. Perhaps I should leave the finer details to Albedo or Demiurge; they're far more strategic and smarter.'

"First things first," Ainz thought aloud, "I need to make contact with Luffy as soon as possible. He's in the center of everything, so I want someone near him. I'll need someone to establish connections and gain his trust, someone strong enough to resist Rayleigh if necessary."

'Shalltear? No, her personality doesn't fit,' Ainz contemplated. 'Aura? Perhaps, but separating her from Mare is kinda mean, since they're siblings.' He struggled with the dilemma until a solution emerged.

'Sebas Tian,' he decided. The leader of the Pleiades seemed the most suitable candidate. Thinking about it for a while, Ainz nods in acceptance, "Umu. I think he's the right choice."

He initiated a [Message] to Sebas, requesting his presence: [Sebas, please come to my office when available. I have a mission for you.]

Surprisingly, the response came swiftly: [Understood, Ainz-sama. I shall head to you now.]

Ainz couldn't help but be taken aback by Sebas's promptness, almost as if the butler had been waiting for the call. Shaking off his surprise, Ainz shifted his focus, contemplating his aspirations to explore the seas and find the One Piece. Yet, the lack of a ship and the need to adapt to this new world weighed heavily on his mind.

Before he could delve too deeply into these thoughts, a knock sounded at the door, and Sebas entered the room.

"Ah, Sebas. You came quickly. I hope I wasn't interrupting anything."

Sebas responded with unwavering reverence, "Of course not, Ainz-sama. I live to follow your orders. My sole existence is to make sure you are comfortable. Please tell me my mission."

Ainz cleared his throat to avoid an awkward silence before explaining, "Cough.. Cough.. Anyway, I called you here because I want you to establish contact with two very important individuals, Luffy and Rayleigh. Your mission has two main objectives that are both equally important."

Raising a bony finger, Ainz continued, "Your first objective is to gain the trust of Luffy and Rayleigh, portraying yourself as a reliable ally. Try to get on their good side. It might be difficult at first, but I want you to find a way to become closer. Show your strength to demonstrate your capability. However, I don't want you to reveal all your strength, as it might arouse suspicion. We must adapt ourselves to this world before making any rash decisions."

Adding another finger, he explained further, "Connected to this fact, you should investigate Haki, a power unique to this world, to determine if you can learn and use it. This is your second objective. Since you possess Ki, which is the most similar to Haki from my thoughts, I thought you to be the best-suited candidate. Now, Sebas, do you accept this mission? Do you believe you are capable of accomplishing it?"

Sebas's unwavering commitment shone through as he accepted the mission with determination. "Yes, Ainz-sama. I will completely accomplish this mission to the best of my ability! I will not fail you."

Ainz nodded in approval. "Umu. Very good. I shall call for you when it's time for you to depart. Until then, you may resume your duties."

As Sebas left the office, Ainz couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment in his role as a leader. However, his thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a realization, 'Wait, do I even know where the island is? It doesn't matter if we can [Gate] there if we don't even know the location.' Sighing in resignation, Ainz decided that he had to meet Nigredo, Albedo's sister, to find the location of Rusukaina, the island that Luffy trained on for 2 years.

'I guess thinking of my pirate crew is going to have to wait for another time...,' Ainz mused, his thoughts drifting towards the complexities of this new world.

On another island, a place teeming with exotic creatures, two figures stood alone. An elderly man faced a young boy adorned with a distinctive straw hat. Their conversation echoed through the pristine wilderness.

"Now, then... When it comes to training, I will not be an easy master, Luffy!"

"Yeah! That's what I like to hear! Ahh.. Hang on a second. The Pirate 'Straw Hat Luffy' is gonna have to take a bit of a break."

With casual determination, the boy ambled towards the largest tree in their vicinity. Turning to the elderly man, he sought clarification. "You said this is the one safe spot on the island, right?"

The old man's smile was serene as he replied, "That is correct."

With a sense of purpose, the young pirate removed his straw hat and produced a piece of paper, leaving it carefully on a tree stump. "Alright! Let's get to it, old man!"

The elderly man couldn't help but sigh at the boy's informality. "That's no good. I want to hear an 'I'm counting on you, Rayleigh-san' or perhaps 'Rayleigh-sensei' or perhaps... 'master?'"

The boy, with respect, spoke sincerely, "I'm counting on you from now on, Rayleigh!" The two shared a moment of laughter as they settled into their roles.

Rayleigh laughed, content with the acknowledgment. "Well... that will do..."

However, their laughter was short-lived as Rayleigh's demeanor suddenly shifted. His sharp eyes fixated on the dense forest, his instincts tingling with apprehension. "Luffy, stay here. I'll be right back, okay?"

Confused by the abrupt change, Luffy protested, "What's going on? Aren't we gonna start? Come on!"

Chuckling to reassure the boy, Rayleigh replied, "Yes, yes. Let me just check something real quick. Why don't you rest a bit before we start? I'll be right back."

With those words, Rayleigh ventured into the forest, drawn by an inexplicable sense of unease and danger. He unsheathed his sword, his senses on high alert as he approached the source of this disturbance. His steps were cautious, and his anticipation grew with each passing moment.

Finally, he reached the source and was taken aback. Standing before him was another elderly gentleman. Remaining on guard, Rayleigh demanded, "Who are you? What's your purpose here? I don't recognize you."

The stranger responded with a chuckle, performing a polite bow as a sign of respect. "Nice to meet you, Dark King Rayleigh. My name is Sebas Tian. A pleasure to make your acquaintance."
