Takes place in the second season…

Outside of CalSci

Charlie was waiting for Don to pick him up as, to the younger man's annoyance, he is still not allowed to drive due his supposedly poor driving.

Don had said he might be only a few minutes late due to traffic, which further added to his thoughts, as Don was busy enough without having to pick his brother up.

While stuck in his thoughts, he almost didn't notice a strange man coming up to him, someone he didn't recognize.

"Professor Eppes, may I have a word with you?" The man asked

"Have we met before?" Charlie asked, because he doesn't recall meeting him at any point.

"No, I just thought someone like you would be very helpful with some problems that I have been having." The man said.

Charlie didn't like where this was going and was glad when he spotted Don's car coming up.

"What problems?" Charlie had to ask, having his curiosity get the best of him.

"I was hoping that you would try hacking a bank, since they just fired me yesterday and I am looking for payback." The man said

Charlie couldn't believe it, some guy was actually asking him to commit some kind of crime, and he had to know that his brother is an FBI agent.

Before the man could say anything else, Don had already pulled up his car and walked up to where the other two men were standing.

"May I ask what bank you wanted my brother to help hack?" Don asked as he went between the man and Charlie.

"Oh…uh sorry, Agent Eppes, I just wanted…well." The man said in a fluster before running off

"Are you okay?" Don asked Charlie

"Yeah, it was just a strange thing and I don't even know if it was just some really bad attempt at a prank." Charlie answered, though he still felt slightly shaken.

"How about we take a look at the campus security cameras and see if the man is wanted or not." Don said as he ushered Charlie into the car.

"Ready to go home?" Don asked

"Yes, definitely." Charlie answered, just glad to have his brother by his side.

Two days later, Lorne Johnson was arrested as he was wanted for embezzling from the bank he was working at and was just hoping that Charlie would help him cover his tracks and to help him disappear.

Charlie was just glad that the man was just an idiot and wouldn't have to deal with the man ever again.
