Chapter Twenty-Four: New Class
(Warning. Some sexual content!)
After the building incident, Alessia was working non stop to keep the citizens in the city feeling safe. It was taking a lot out of her especially with the holidays coming up. She was sitting on the counter early in the morning drinking coffee. The others were still sleeping. They had classes today and then work. There was a new class she kept her eyes on. She wasn't sure if she would sign up for it or not. The professor asked her to join in for a couple classes to see if she liked it or not. It was an Astronomy class. About the planets and stars and what not in outer space. It intrigued her. Humming softly while sipping her coffee before brewing a fresh pot.
"You're up early." The voice of Su made her jump.
"Yes. I was just thinking." Alessia smiled while getting out a cup for Su. Handing it over.
"About?" Su asked while pouring her cup.
"A new class. There's still time to sign up for it but I'm not sure." She added.
"Hmm. What class?"
"Astronomy."
"Do you think you will have time for everything and for dancing?" Su smiled at her sweetly.
"I can manage it." Alessia spoke, returning the smile. "The first class is today. They wanted to start before the holidays." She added as Su nodded.
"Don't forget. You said you'll join us in Zaofu." Su added. Alessia nodded her head. She was excited to be going there for the holidays. Hoping that Korra wouldn't destroy the city while they were away. Su was now awfully close to her as Alessia leaned against the woman. Hearing a soft chuckle before a hug.
"Do you have any idea what you wanna give Lin for the holidays?" Su asked as Alessia blushed. She tried to hide her face while drinking her coffee.
"Oh. No need to tell me." Su smirked at this. It was odd seeing the matriarch smirk like that. Alessia rolled her eyes before nudging the older woman.
"Well, she'll be happy with that." Su spoke.
"That's not all. I want to give her something else. Just need to find the perfect thing." Alessia added while humming. Hearing other footsteps as Lin and Kuvira had finally woken up.
"You're up early." Lin spoke as Su laughed.
"That's what I said." She spoke before leaving to the other room with Kuvira. Alessia kept her eyes upon Lin while smiling.
"I think someone slept well last night." Lin whispered with a smirk. Alessia blushed and nudged Lin.
"Shush you!" Alessia spoke while finishing her coffee. Lin chuckled and slid her arms around Alessia's waist. Kissing her neck softly. Alessia and Lin were a bit intimate last night. Alessia mumbled lightly as Lin pulled back.
"Time to head out." Lin spoke. Alessia was still wearing her nightwear before hopping off the counter and left to change.
The day seemed to be dragging on for some reason. They were in their art class with Su. Alessia was leaning against Kuvira while looking at her friend's drawing.
"Pst! Alessia. Kuvira." Mako's voice spoke outside the doorway. They both looked up and over. Su wasn't paying any attention. Mako let himself in and walked over to them.
"I found clues for the bombing." Mako spoke as he gave Alessia a remote control looking device and the picture to Kuvira.
"They used this device to blow the building." Mako whispered.
"I thought bombs were done by hand?" Alessia was confused. This device seemed so foreign. Maybe Asami would know something.
"Who is this?" Kuvira asked.
"My dears. We are working on an assignment. Not discussing devices." Su spoke as she finally spotted them. "Mako. Unless you signed up for my class. Please leave." She added as Mako apologized and bowed before leaving. Alessia and Kuvira looked at each other with questioning looks. They remained quiet for the rest of class. Alessia went back to finish drawing. It was a picture of the northern invaders on their ships water bending up walls. Once the bell run, she packed up her stuff and followed Kuvira outside. She had packed their lunch today.
"What is this thing?" Alessia asked while turning over the remote in her hand.
"No idea. But I have a feeling Varrick is involved." Kuvira spoke. Alessia raised a brow at her before shrugging. If her friend suspected Varrick, then it must be a good reason. After all, he did try to start a rebellion in the south pole.
"Come on. Time for gym." Kuvira spoke as they made their way to the gym. Once in the locker, they changed clothes. Tight black pants and dark green and black tank top with a silver line going down the left side to represent their home. Alessia led the way into the gym to see Bolin and Korra there already stretching.
"How can he do this?" Korra sighed. Alessia raised a brow at her sister. Wondering if something had happened.
"What's up?" She asked while sitting down between her and Kuvira as they began their stretches.
"It's Mako. He keeps taking Raiko's side on this whole civil war thing." Korra said. Alessia sighed at this. Why was Korra so bent on getting the United Nations to send troops to help.
"I mean it's your home too." Korra added. Alessia looked at her gym shirt again and then back at Korra. It seemed to have not gotten through her head. "Well? Aren't you going to show the southerners you're on their side?" Korra asked.
"No." Was all she could say.
"How could you even say that?!" Korra shouted just in time for the Beifong Professors to show up. The four students stood up to stretch more. "How could you side with Raiko?!" Korra added.
"What's with you and sides?" Alessia asked as Korra grunted with frustration.
"It's your home too!"
"I have a job to do!"
"You're just like Mako!"
"Shut up." Alessia has had enough of Korra again. It seemed like her sister loved picking fights for some reason.
"How could you do this? You betrayed our family." Korra shouted.
"YOUR family! I was never part of it!" Alessia snapped. She crossed her arms and glared at Korra.
"Fine! I'm done!" With that Korra stormed out.
"Get back here!" Lin snapped at Korra who rounded on her.
"No! I'm done with the University! I'm going to put my job first." With that, Korra was out of the gym. Bolin lightly chuckled.
"So um. How are we doing?" He asked as Lin was sighing. Pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Why don't let the gym class for the day?" Su asked as Bolin nodded and took off. He wasn't in the next bending class. He had a free period now. Alessia and Kuvira however were the only two in the metal bending class now. Since Bolin wasn't a metal bender, it was just the two of them now.
It felt awkward. Having Korra storm out of class. They were already advanced in metal bending but the professors were still required to go through the basics. Which was easy for Alessia and Kuvira. Alessia easily sent the meteor flying to the other side of the gym as Kuvira deflected it back. They bent shapes each time it was flung back.
"I'm bored." Kuvira spoke with a sign. Alessia grabbed the meteor and set it back down on the stand it was on. The next thing she knew, she was lying on the ground and sighed. It seemed that Lin had engaged in a sparring match with Kuvira. She stood up and walked over to the bleachers. Sitting down next to Su. Their eyes following the earth and metal that was being flung back and forth. It always seems that Kuvira would never turn down a chance to spar. Alessia felt her head go back and forth. She leaned against Su again while watching.
"Those two are a lot alike. I swear." Su chuckled as Alessia nodded her head in agreement. Lin saw the sight of them and sent a chunk of earth at them. Alessia dodged right away as Su deflected back.
"I told you. She's mine." Lin spoke.
"She is my dancer as well." Su chuckled as Kuvira sat next to Alessia this time.
"Lin is very territorial over you." Kuvira spoke as Alessia nodded her head again. Lin definitely was and she was okay with that. They watched the sisters spar before they finally finished. It took up the whole class. These two certainly had the energy.
"I'll be right back." Alessia spoke as she followed Lin into the locker room. Seeing Lin in her office, Alessia let herself in and closed the door and made sure the window blinds were closed.
"You alright?" Alessia asked in a soft tone. Lin only growled in reply at her. Lin sat down in her chair and sighed.
"Don't you have dance class?" Lin snapped. Alessia moved closer to her.
"I'm sure Su wouldn't mind if I'm a little late." Alessia spoke as she straddled Lin on her chair. Lin was eyeing her. She still looked mad. "You seemed stressed out." Alessia leaned in while whispering. She let her finger trace across Lin's jaw before leaning in to kiss her softly upon the lips.
"Alessia. You need to get to class." Lin warned. She ignored this by wrapping her arms around Lin's neck and held her close.
"I know. Though, someone else needs me right now." Alessia spoke softly.
"No one else needs you right now." Lin replied.
"Oh really?" She asked. Lin raised a brow at her when she smirked. Alessia let her hand slip straight between Lin's thighs.
"Alessia…" Lin warned again in a soft growl this time. Alessia ignored the warning and pressed herself against Lin. The movement was quick and sudden. Lin had Alessia pinned against the wall. Her knee up between her legs. Alessia let out a soft moan. Grinding against Lin's knee for some friction.
"You are being naughty. What do you have to say for yourself?" Lin growled into Alessia's ear and it made her shiver.
"I want you." Alessia spoke weakly. Her face was red as she could barely think straight.
"Do you?" Lin asked as she left one wrist go and went straight for Alessia's core outside of her gym pants. She let out a soft moan. Her head tilted back.
"Say you're mine. You belong only to me." Lin ordered.
"I'm yours only." Alessia spoke weakly. She was squirming against Lin now. Then she felt it. Lin's hand had found it's way into her pants and against her flesh.
"Are you sure?" Lin asked as she used a finger to tease her folds? "You're so wet. Is it me you're wet for?" Lin asked seductively. Alessia nodded. Lin stopped as she whimpered a little. "I didn't hear that."
"Yes!" Alessia nearly shouted and felt something enter her. She gasped and moaned. Bucking her hips forward against Lin's fingers. "Lin…" She moaned weakly. Her legs were going to give up. She moved her hips against Lin's fingers before feeling them pull out. She frowned at the loss of feeling.
"Not here." Lin whispered. She licked her fingers clean and Alessia groaned. "Soon. I promise." Lin gave Alessia a deep kiss. Holding her tightly. She had gotten a taste of what it felt like for the first time and now she was craving it. Craving Lin. For her touch.
"Get to dance class. I'll head out to watch here soon." Lin spoke as Alessia nodded and gave her lover a quick kiss before heading out of her office. The music was going as Alessia smiled. She quickly moved into the dance routine with ease. Kuvira gave her a questioning look. Alessia smirked at her before taking the lead in the dance. She was enjoying the dance and didn't realize Lin was already watching with a smirk on her face.
"What happened?" Kuvira asked as Alessia was changing in the locker room.
"Nothing." Alessia spoke while tossing her bag over her shoulder.
"Something happened." Her friend crossed her arms.
"Let's just say, we got a little closer." Alessia spoke. Kuvira gasped and laughed.
"I knew something was going on!" Her friend laughed.
"I'm going to my next class. Wanna join me?" Alessia asked. It seemed Kuvira was interested, so she followed her.
"Where are you two going?" Lin asked while crossing her arms.
"Class." Kuvira replied. Su raised a brow.
"I didn't know you had another class. When were you going to tell me?" Su asked, also crossing her arms.
"Well, I'm not technically in the class. I'm curious about it since it's an open class right now before it's closed off." Kuvira spoke. Alessia nodded her head in agreement before grabbing Kuvira's arm and dragged her away.
The class was at the top of the building. Literally on the roof of the university.
"Better to see." What the professor would tell them. Alessia liked the idea as she took a table in the front as Kuvira sat next to her. The professor walked in.
"Professor Tenzin?" Kuvira gasped then chuckled. Alessia nodded.
"It's not only history he dies. It's astronomy as well." She spoke as Tenzin set down a device as it lit up.
"Whoa." The class spoke as the device lit up. Showing the planets and stars. It was a reddish orange glow.
"I want each of you to pick a planet and write an essay not only about it's features but what it represents." Tenzin spoke. Alessia had picked Neptune as Kuvira picked Saturn.
"Yep. I want to take this class." Kuvira spoke as they made their way across the campus as they headed home. Kuvira phones Su to let them. Know. Lin was with her of course.
"Yep. I want to sign up as well." Alessia spoke. The class seemed really interesting. She opened the door to find it unlocked as they entered.
"Hello!" Kuvira called out as Alessia locked the door and set her bag and shoes down by the door.
"We're in here." Su's voice called. Alessia followed her friend into the sitting room. Lin had her arms crossed with a small smile on the corner of her lips. She sat down next to her and leaned over.
"Lin told me why you were late to dance." Su spoke as she poured herself some tea. Alessia blushed and mumbled. Pulling a blanket over her.
"Ha! I knew it!" Kuvira laughed as she pulled out her new book.
"Oh shut up!." Alessia gave her friend a look.
"It's alright dear. Just try and keep it in your pants until then." Su chuckled.
"Lin isn't exactly innocent in this either!" Alessia protested.
"Oh I know." Su side eyed Lin as she huffed. Alessia looked at Lin with a smile. She stretched her legs and rested them across her lover's lap. Lin instinctively rested her hands upon Alessia's calves and gently rubbed them. This sent Alessia into a drowsy mood. She laid back to take up the rest of the couch before passing out. The laughing didn't wake her up.
"She seems exhausted." Su spoke.
"You have no idea. With Mako pestering her about the bomb clues and Korra." Kuvira spoke.
"So this new class. Are you two taking it?" Su asked while looking over Kuvira's shoulder.
"Yes! I never knew there was more out there than our own planet. There's so much to learn. Alessia is like an expert in this class. She was able to name all the plants. In order." Kuvira spoke. Alessia could hear the hint of pride in her friend's voice.
"Hmph. Of course she can. She's smart." Lin spoke. There was a small silence. "I thought about promoting her. She did so well against that crowd that almost turned into a mob." Lin added. She could feel Lin gently squeezing her leg.
"I wouldn't oppose that." Kuvira spoke. "She'd be great. She did learn from the other best." Her friend spoke.
"The other best?" Lin asked while raising a brow. "Yes. You and Su. I don't think you realize it but you two are amazing teachers. I'm not just saying that to butter you up or anything but it's true." Kuvira spoke. Alessia could picture Su hugging or holding Kuvira at this.
"You really think so?" Lin asked lightly.
"She's right you know." Alessia spoke softly. Causing Lin to jump as Su chuckled.
"Were you even asleep?" Su asked. Alessia nodded her head. She shifted. Her head was now in Lin's lap. She could feel the rough but gentle fingers running through her hair. She sighed happily before drifting off again. She didn't know how long she was out until she felt someone gently shake her awake. Alessia yawned and blinked a few times.
"Dinner is ready." Su spoke softly. Alessia smiled and stood up. Lin was no longer there but at the table.
"Thank you, Su." She spoke while taking her place at the table. Today was dumplings and noodles. There was also orange chicken that she helped herself to. It was also spicy. Alessia drank her water to cool the burning sensation in her mouth.
"Why does everything have to be spicy?" Alessia asked, raising a brow.
"I can tone it down." Lin chuckled with a smirk. Alessia blushed and waved her hand.
"No need to, Lin." She nudged Lin at her joke before eating the noodles again.
"So, I decided to take the class. I signed up. I also signed you up as well." Kuvira spoke as she started the conversation.
"Thank you. Sorry I passed out." Alessia spoke.
"It's alright. Everyone needs a nap once in a while." Su spoke. She nodded her head in agreement before finishing her chicken and noodles. Leaving the dumplings alone. She finished her water as well.
"So, Mako thinks he has clues to the bombing. I would like to join the case." Alessia spoke as Kuvira wanted to join as well.
"Alright. I guess. I don't see the harm in that. Just keep me posted and what not." Lin spoke as Korra was blowing up Alessia's phone. She looked at the several text messages.
"Oh. That's a shocker." Alessia sighed and rolled her eyes.
"What?" They all asked.
"Mako broke up with Korra. She ruined his work desk." Alessia spoke.
"Hmph. He got off easy." Lin crossed her arms as Su was laughing now. Alessia and Kuvira looked at each other, both confused.
"You should have seen Air temple island when Tenzin broke up with me." Lin smirked. There was that mischievously look Lin had in her eyes. Alessia's eyes went wide before fake coughing.
"Remind me to be good." Alessia spoke while clearing up the table. Knowing full well it would be a bad idea to cross Lin. She knew the where the line was and wouldn't ever dream of crossing it. Kuvira had helped her this time on cleaning up before leaving. Alessia followed suit and went to her own bedroom. Seeing Lin already getting under the covers. Alessia smiled and changed quickly before joining.
