At the edge of a dense forest in England, a spiraling pillar of light hammered into the ground as Nami and her Servant, the legendary archer Robin Hood, materialized in the year 1939. The air was heavy with the scent of damp earth and the rustle of leaves, but the tranquility was interrupted by the gravity of the undertaking they now found themselves amidst. They had been transported to a simulated recreation of England from August 31st, 1939, to take part in the False Moon-Cell Holy Grail War as members of the Blue Faction.
Nami, the young and energetic orange-haired Master, immediately began to acclimate herself to the surroundings. She was aware of the importance of their mission and had no intention of wasting any time. As she surveyed the area, she wondered what challenges this falsebound past had in store for them.
Robin Hood, the Archer-class Servant, cast a wary eye around the forest, ensuring their immediate safety. His green cloak and bandaged arm blended seamlessly with the foliage, making him nearly invisible as he kept watch.
"Alright, Archer, we need to gather some information and get a lay of the land. Let's also find a way to earn some money without attracting too much attention," Nami said, her voice full of determination.
Robin nodded in agreement, "Very well, Master. I have an idea that might help with that."
Utilizing Nami's illusion-based Magecraft, and Archer's would renowned thievery skills, the pair swiftly began their scheme, creating illusions to deceive and distract the locals while Archer burgled and pickpocketed them to acquire everything they could have possibly needed. Although their actions could be seen as morally ambiguous, they rationalized it as a necessary means to their end. And, in the short term of the immediate midnight hours of the war's very beginning, it served as a simple yet effective means of getting a leg up amidst their staunch competition.
With their newfound modest wealth, Nami purchased clothing appropriate for the era and dyed her hair black, making it harder for other Masters to recognize her. The change in appearance was a small price to pay for the security it provided.
As they prepared for the arrival of their swiftest ally, Pedro, and his Servant, Rider, Nami and Robin found a place to stay in the local woods. While waiting, they took advantage of the opportunity to further hone their skills. Under Archer's tutelage, Nami practiced her fledgling combat, while Robin Hood kept sharp his already formidable archery prowess.
"Master, it is crucial that you learn to defend yourself. I cannot always be by your side, and the Holy Grail War is filled with danger," Robin cautioned Nami as they trained.
"I understand, Archer. I'll do my best," Nami replied, her resolve unwavering.
The night hours passed as Nami and Robin continued their preparations, with the steadily approaching new dawn bringing them closer to looming air of conflict that permeated every inch of the artificial environment.
As the tension grew, so too did their determination to succeed.
In the midst of their training, Robin shared his wisdom with Nami, "Remember, Master, the key to victory in the Holy Grail War is not raw power, but strategy and adaptability. We must be ready for anything."
"I know, Archer. Trust me, I'm prepared to face whatever challenges come our way."
