"God! Even your Dad runs faster than you!" Edward said to me.

"Shut up!" I chuckled.

Edward and I were running into each other frequently ever since we met back at Riley's wedding. We met in various parties since we ran into the same social circuit. Also, we shared the same gym and the same Tennis club.

He was much better than how I remembered him!

Either he had grown up with age or maybe Riley and Jacob were a bad influence on him when he was young!

Either way, he was fun to be around.

And yeah, he was a really good Tennis player!

"I will kill you if we lose this match because of you!" He said.

Oh yeah, also an extremely competitive Tennis player!

"I will try, but I can't promise!" I winked.

Unfortunately, we lost the match, but he didn't kill me!

"What are you doing this Saturday?" He asked me after the match.

"Oh, I'm going to Hawaii for two weeks," I said.

"Hawaii?" He said, "That sounds like fun."

"Yeah... I love to go on at least two solo trips per year," I said, "I like to be just with myself for some time."

"That's nice! Which islands are you visiting?" he said.

"Maui and Big Island," I said, "I'm really looking forward to this vacation. I've been working my ass off since the last few months!"

"Hope you have a good break," he smiled.

"Yeah, I hope so," I smiled back.

"Oh, I just remembered. Uncle Carl is also going to Hawaii this weekend. Not sure which island he's visiting though... But he also likes to go on solo trips," he said.

"Oh really?" I said, "Yeah, solo trips are the best."

"I should also try it sometime," he said.

"Yeah, you should definitely try it," I said, "It's so fun!"

"Anyway... I need to leave," he said, "We will catch up once you're back. Have fun!"

"Okay, so you are telling me that you wanted to ask me out after I returned and then you didn't because... Come on! You're totally bullshitting now!" I said incredulously, "How do you even come up with this?"

"I'm not bullshitting," he said calmly, "I'm just telling you the truth."

"That doesn't make any sense," I said.

He was definitely lying.

He hadn't shown any kind of interest at that time, and now he was just... bullshitting!

"Why?" He said, "Why doesn't it make sense?"

"Because... Because... I don't know!" I said as I pulled my hair, "You're just... ridiculous!"
