hey guys im back this is my second chapter continuing the story of Philip leading the group to a bigger and better tomorrow for some reason my traffic graph isn't showing any views and there has been no new reviews so please read and review let me know how your liking it
The five figures from behind the bars looked amazed at the assault force, as did the group looked back in shocked surprise. Some prisoners had managed to survive damn near a year locked in a cafeteria surrounded by the dead. Philip however was running through his memory of the prisoners and remembered the only threats seemed to be Thomas and Andrew the others never did anything wrong to the group as far as he could remember.
As they came around the gate and opened the door I Philip sheathed his machete and unslung his M16 flipping the safety off followed by others following my led "Easy goes it boys drop your weapons and interlock your fingers behind your head." I called out
Three of them dropped the broom handles or table legs they had armed themselves with and complied locking their giving each of them a pat down the only one with a gun was Thomas. "Put them in a cell for now when we get the computers up and running or physical files to see if they can be trusted we can't afford to let them run free at the moment." Philip said as T, Glynn, Luis, and Brandon took them away to just down the hall and into the cells individually. Not taking the time to answer questions the only one to try and fight was Thomas and he earned a butt stroke to the belly from Brandon for it. His wheezing form was thrown into a cell and locked.
"Good job guys we can't afford to have them just running around unless we know they can be trusted." Philip said everyone nodded they didn't like locking them up but they agreed with the logic
Looking in the commissary and seeing the large cans and bags of food they were unshaken. The group had twenty times this much and looking at the various labels and probably a hundred times better. But when it came down to it food was food.
The cell blocks and cafeteria now firmly in their hands they head back throwing a few bottles of water and protein into each of the prisoner's cells they sweep back to their entry point of cell block C.
Everyone in the block heard the cell door open as the group walked in securing the door behind them.
"Relax everyone we are fine" Philip called out "though I do have news we found survivor's five prisoners lockā¦.." at the mention of prisoners everyone started talking and asking questions.
"HOLD UP EVERYONE!" I yell loudly as everyone settles down. "As I was saying five of the prisoners were locked in the cafeteria." looking around expecting another interruption but finding none Philip Continued "they are secured individually with food and water until we can see at least what they were imprisoned for to see if they are the kind of people we want around or running free at all. So Private Scott" I looked at the young man quietly talking to Lauren the former exotic dancer often still put on shows in the back of the cargo truck she drove "if you don't mind could you see about getting power to the prisons computers and searching their names and faces for me? If any of them stick out for serious danger vibes let us know and we will take care of them." seeing the sad twitch of a look at the beautiful woman on his arm I smiled as did everyone else "but no rush you can start in the morning." the other guardsmen laughed and slapped him on the back catcalling.
The rest of the evening with a good guard the hallways were cleared rooms with nothing in them were locked and marked as were a additional set of rooms with tables chairs extra furniture the maze of hallways were secured doors were locked and labeled corpses were carted out and burned. To end the official first day in the most secured place they had been a feast with all the fixing. Philips bed wasn't the only one that night to see some action.
Almost everyone but the sentry's slept in that morning Rick and Lori didn't wake up till almost noon. The national guardsmen still holding onto their military baring woke up at six am. Doing a check of the outer perimeter fence killing a few dozen walkers who had pushed up against the fence relieving a few of the sentries to either hit the bathroom or get something to eat.
Private's Scott and Young however were not among them they were busy setting up the three 100 watt solar panels the unit had pulled off of freeway signs months ago to keep their radios and phones charged. Now they were being put to use to power up the prisons computer network looking at the list of names with photos of the prisoners that had been gathered last night with the bribe of a cheeseburger and fries and the threat of anything they told that was found to be lies three days in a windowless cell without food the names were easily given and a short page on each was printed off.

After comparing notes looks like Andrew and Tomas underestimated their crimes but the other three were completely truthful making a note they headed to the remodeled cafeteria where most of the group were eating breakfast.
As the two guardsmen walked in Rick stopped eating his eggs and hash browns to wave them over. As they sat the kids acting as waiters and waitresses came over and got their orders for food and drink as they handed the report to him. Scanning it over and finding much of what he guessed after thanking the guardsmen he walked up to the marker board they had thrown up to act as an internet less community message board.
"Full meeting this 12 p.m. prisoner's news and decision"
The fate of the prisoners would be in everyone's hands seeing as they haven't done anything to us this go around.
