Biography:

The only son and heir of Claudius, last king of planet Thundera, inhabited by several breeds of feline humanoids. Lion-O's people were fundamentally peace loving but always prepared to defend themselves from their enemies, the Mutants of planet Plun-Darr. The Thunderians were scientifically developed but only were starting to dabble into space travel when their planet exploded, due to mighty volcanic eruptions rising from the world's core (see also- planet Krypton).

Prince Lion-O and his aristocratic elite, the ThunderCats force of guards, escaped Thundera right on time, in an experimental ship. Chased by a fleet of Mutants, the ThunderCats entered suspended animation while traversing hyperspace. Only their mentor, the wise Jaga, remained conscious to pilot the ship to safety, sacrificing his life in the process.

After crash landing on a primitive world known as the Third Earth, Lion-O found out his stasis capsule had malfunctioned, and he had grown into adulthood through his cryo sleep. He had to mature fast as the new leader of his ThunderCats, proving himself in a set of trials set by his partners, Tygra, Panthro, Cheetarah, WilyKat and WilyKit.

Eventually, three other Thunderians arrived to Third Earth and joined Lion-O's ranks; the blind and wise Lynx-O, technical genius Bengali, and pacifist Pumyra. Mumm-Ra, the undead nemesis of the ThunderCats, was vanquished for a time, but they were defeated by a new menace, the Shadow Master. Years later, Lion-O had to battle with tooth and claw to free his subjects, who had been turned into Mumm-Ra's slaves. Afterwards the ThunderCats fough a race of humanoid canines, the so called Dogs of War. Mumm-Ra managed to turn time back several years, so he could start his battle against the Cats once again.

After this, the ThunderCats met Eternia's 'Masters of the Universe' to combat the alliance of Skeletor and Mumm-Ra.

Class Skills:

Riding: C

Saber was not the most skilled driver or rider of the ThunderCats, a role belonging to Panthro, but he was a highly skilled spaceship pilot. He also was good with land vehicles and a decent hand at boats. He also can ride four legged mounts, particularly large cats.

Saber cannot ride dragons or non-feline phantasmal beasts.

Magic Resistance: A

His many victories over Mumm-Ra and the ancient spirits of evil granted Saber a high rank on this skill.

Most modern magecraft have practically no chance of damaging him.

Personal Skills:

Animal Dialogue: C

The Servant has a high level of communication with cats and felines of all species. However, direct, immediate bonding with different animals is beyond Saber's capacities.

Valor: A

Even when all odds seemed to be stacked against him, Saber wouldn't back down. He would even surpass apparent betrayals from his closest associates, and he would look into the eye of literal evils personified without wincing.

Saber won't lose his calm easily and will keep a confident but careful attitude around danger. He once was reckless, but has grown as wise as courageous.

Pioneer of the Stars: A

From a human perspective, Saber's rank at this skill may appear exaggerated, but from the perspective of his race, he was a trailblazer who took his people into the stars. While he was only a child when he was in the ship that took the Cats to Third Earth, he still was the legal heir at the time, and after maturing he explored outer space with his comrades.

After some time, Saber found the remains of Thundera and founded a new world for his subjects, New Thundera, out of them. This feat has virtually no parallel in human history.

Swordsmanship: C

While not formally trained in the arts of the sword- the rest of the ThunderCats used other weapons of choice and none of them could train Lion-O properly on the blade- Saber is born adept at hacking and slashing with animal intensity coupled with finesse.

Arguably, the Sword of Omens is more notable than its wielder by himself. It also can be used to shoot energy blasts, levitate for short spans of time, and create limited force fields.

Jaga: A

Occasionally, the soul of Lion-O's long gone mentor may appear to him and dispense cryptic but wise advise. This isn't a factor Saber can bring into consideration whenever he wants to, so it cannot count as a Noble Phantasm. The visions of Jaga are always brief and happen while Saber is awake.

Jaga doesn't have clairvoyance into the future, but he can predict future events based on logic and he has multidirectional foresight about events that are taking place at the present time, far away from Saber's location.

Noble Phantasms:

Eye of Omens: B+

Looking into the ancient gem embedded into the hilt of the Sword of Omens, Saber can clearly view events taking place in the past or future, in any site of his choice, as long as said site isn't magically guarded by strong wards.

It is a much more reliable source of information than Jaga's messages, but it can only be used twice a day at most. The mana spent is minimal.

ThunderCats, Ho!: A

Anti-Army.

Saber's most useful battle oriented Noble Phantasm. Waving his Sword of Omens up and around and shouting an incantation, Saber summons the presences of his original ThunderCats companions, all of which also can qualify as Servants themselves. These are not the original Cats as such, but copies of them akin to the Argonauts in Jason's Noble Phantasm, granted limited amounts of autonomous intelligence for the duration of the Noble Phantasm.

Panthro, a Rider or Caster aligned panther man, drives a gigantic tank-like vehicle, and if forced out of it he can still fight with incredible muscular power and two nunchucks. Tygra, an Assassin type, can go invisible and strike with a whip. Cheetarah, an attractive speedster, attacks with a staff and can be summoned as a Lancer Servant. WilyKit and WilyKat, mischievous junior pranksters, throw miniature bombs and act as a single Assassin entity. Snarf, Lion-O's nanny and a small furry catlike creature, can claw and bite on others.

This Noble Phantasm also summons any nearby Servants with feline traits and makes them fight on Saber's behalf for its duration, even if they would be his enemies normally.

Summoning: "Greetings! Are you my Master? I'm Servant Saber. Pleased to meet you!"

Start of Battle:

"It's time to roar once more!"

"The visions have shown me I'm not going to lose today!"

"Is your cause just? Then stand strong."

"We shouldn't be deciding this with violence."

Attack:

"Give up!?"

"For Justice!"

"This is serious!"

"Give up your evil ways!"

Damage:

"Cowards!"

"Hrrrm!"

"I won't surrender!"

"Why!?"

Damage by Noble Phantasm:

"Retreat? ThunderCats never retreat!"

Victory:

"Can you stand up?"

"Sorry it had to be this way."

"I did what I had to do."

"Sometimes my decisions bring disaster, and sometimes they bring a key..."

Defeat:

"The cause of justice will never die."

"Dreams don't wither that easily!"

"We're all leaves passing in the wind; here and then gone. But while we're here, we live to the fullest!"

"Whiskers."

Noble Phantasm Activation:

"Sword of Omens, give me sight beyond sight."

"Thunder! Thunder! ThunderCats! HOOOOOOOOO!"

Extra Dialogue:

"What happened to that child? She turned around and ran as soon as she saw me!" (When you have Assassin Wu Zetian).

"Mumm-Ra! I should have known you wouldn't fade so easily! You are planning to betray these people, aren't you?" (When you have Caster Mumm-Ra).

"Ever living evil? I have defeated your kind more than once! " (When you have Caster Maleficent).

"You.. You aren't related to Mumm-Ra, are you? No, I can tell you aren't. I'm sorry. We shouldn't judge anyone from their appearances." (When you have Caster or Assassin Nitocris or Rider Ozymandias).

"He-Man! Ah ha ha ha! I'm honored to fight by your side once more!" (When you have Saber He-Man).

"Skeletor! Why, you, treacherous snake..." (When you have Caster Skeletor).

"Ah, Superman. So your world has been affected as well? A true pity." (When you have Saver Superman)

Birthday: "Ah, happy birthday! What do you want to do? It's been a long time since the last time we relaxed!"

Event: "Well, do you think it's wise to go check on them? They say curiosity killed the cat... But not checking up can be even more dangerous!"

Holy Grail: "The temptation is strong, I must admit. Could I bring my people back with this? Should I?"

To be Continued.
