Chapter 12: The Lost World
While journey through Frontier Space, Kilowog does a roll call.
"Alright, you jack wagons. Sound off like you mean it!" He said to the group, "Aya!"
"Present." She replied.
"Razer!"
Razer grunts, not wanting to participate.
"David!"
David is watching a mini version of Top Gun via construction when he heard Kilowog, "Yes sir!"
"Sora! Ven!"
The two Keyblade warriors were practicing sparing, "Oh! Here!"
"Yeah."
"Bolt! Penny!"
Penny is playing fetch with her dog.
"Here!" She said while Bolt barks.
"Brian!" Kilowog shouted.
"Here!"
"Jenny Wakeman!"
"Here!" Jenny said, waving.
"Ahsoka! Barriss!"
"Here!" The girls said.
"Jordan." Kilowog said to Hal who is playing ping pong.
"Uncle!" David shouted to him.
Hal snaps out of his focus before turning to Kilowog.
"Kilowog, there's only thirteen of us and we're all here." Hal said.
"We may be a half of the universe away from Oa, but we still need to rely on discipline." Kilowog said.
"I called this meeting because we are assuming the situation." Hal said.
"Easy. We'll be dead within a month" Razer said.
"Even though Iolande is now a Green Lantern like us, she can't leave her home because of her people." Kilowog said.
"Attention, I'm detecting the signal of Green Lantern power 300 meters and close. Also there some good news and bad news." Aya informed.
"We got a new member for our team. I hope he or she should join us." Sora said.
The Interceptor speeds through to get to the destination.
"So Aya, what's the good news?" Hal asks
"The signature ring is located 300 kilometers near our position." Aya informed.
"And you now want to tell us what's the bad news." Penny said.
"The bad news is the planet will be destroyed by that moon asteroid in about 5.6 minutes and 55 seconds." Aya warned.
The group looks and sees a giant asteroid passing bypass
"That's no ordinary asteroid." David said.
"I say we blast that hunk of rock into oblivion." Kilowog said.
"Due to the structure size, my cannons will not be able to destroy it." Aya said.
"Then we'll have to slow it down." Hal said.
The group except Razer use their rings to slow down the giant asteroid. However the battery is on the brink of overheating.
"Uncle, we need to stop!" David shouted to Hal.
"We need to keep going!" Hal said.
"The power is about to fail!" Jenny said.
"Uncle, you gonna blow the damn battery!" The nephew said.
They keep going until the construct they had created breaks.
"Ugh finally!" Sora said.
"Hal, what we're you're thinking?!" Ahsoka asked in anger.
"You nearly destroyed the Power Battery, uncle! Are you that stupid or something?!" David asked him.
"We have to slow it down and don't you talk me like that!" Hal argued.
"Asshole." David muttered quietly.
"How much time we have?" Sora asks Aya.
"Time until impact is 6 hours and 30 minutes." Aya replied.
"That gives us time to search around and look for the inhabitants." Hal said.
"Good. The sooner we find the Lantern, the better."
(A/N: I'm skipping to the ending. No flame comment)
The Green Lanterns had landed on the planet to search for new Green Lantern before encountering inhabitants, Zork and Drusa. David, Razor and Ven look for the Green Lantern when they encounter Walker who walks on a different path, a path of hope. Later on the Interceptor, Aya gets hacked by Drusa's mechanical skills and the ship gets stolen. Jenny, Sora, and Ahsoka had captured Drusa, free Aya and stopped the ship. However the planet had stopped it for them.
Hal though about for a moment and tries to send the ring back but it stays and it hit him. The whole planet could be the next Lantern. So he digs a hole and drops the ring in. Then to the Green Lanterns surprise it lights up and destroys the giant asteroid. It declares itself named Mogo and it's now a member of the Green Lantern Corps...
Next chapter coming and I'm so sorry for the long hiatus because my focus on my other stories and making this chapter short.
